Hunnydd
Tumblr media
Ahrimane, mother of the travelling troupe, Hunnydd has some pretty hefty allegations of cainite murder against her. But hey, what's an avenging mother to all disenfranchised women to do.
Hunnydd is also ma to one rambunctious Ravnos, Owain, she somehow ended up adopting.

Ahrimane was post earlier, but I do some tweaks, so let's say it will be foo the January 1.

Another couple of NPCs coming soon (tm) to a Chronicle near you (take a wild guess which one). First off a trio of Anarchs swooping into town to serve as a rogue element to the current Anarch Movement's status quo (if one could even call it that). - Teàrlag Murray (she/her) - Chile of a local, infamous Gangrel Anarch legend, trying to use her late old man's rep to try and make a claim to Baron. - Louve Silver (she/they) - Ex Sabbat Gangrel, turned Ahrimane, trying to start shit with the local Camarilla since the Anarchs are playing *too* nice with 'em in her opinion. - Amaris (they/them/any) - Malkavian soothsayer who's seeing some mighty storm brewin' over the city in the near future.
Meanwhile, in the Sword of Caine, another trio makes its way into town, pursuing some nefarious Infernalists and trying to keep tabs on the local Sabbat's shenanigans. Surely there's no demon-worshipping going on here, no sir. - Invidia Fel (she/her) - Harbinger of Skulls Priscus with a mighty bone to pick with some rival necromancers. Judge Inquisitor to the Sabbat. - Aurelio Aristide Grimaldi (he/him) - Invidia's Templar and Knight Inquisitor to her Judge. Prim and proper Ventrue Crusader-type. - Kore Tartarus (she/they/it) - Black Hand Lasombra who's going to be beefing with her Bishop Sire and his most recent batch of childer. Elder sis going to be bullying her baby brothers.

Owain - Ravnos, low gen, Neonate, taken in by Huynndd and her traveling troupe. He's the sunshine in the dark, king of theatre, enjoys a good natured prank.
Efa - A playful Changling. Very outgoing, Loves a prank, such as offering her bloods to Cainites to make them high.
Hunnydd - Ahrimane, mother to all of her troupe. Adopts lost children, enjoys killing misogynistic men from town to town on her travels ( ꈍᴗꈍ)

What are your top 3 favorite vtm clans (or bloodlines)?
Bonus: which clan do you think you'd fit in with? :3c
Oh boy, this is going to be long lol
Favorite: Tzimisce
Gosh, what a surprise :O
But yeah. I mean, firstly, the cool factor is undeniable. It's always such a joy designing Tzimisce characters because even toeing the strictest borderlines of canon they're allowed to get real weird with it in a way that most other clans aren't. I don't mean this as hate at all so I hope it doesn't come across like that, all clans are beautiful <3 but if you're playing Ventrue, Brujah, Tremere etc to some degree you'll always just be playing as Some Guy. With a Tzim it’s like…Do you want some sick-ass bone blades on your arms? No problem! Another pair of arms to put more bone blades on? Sounds good! Do you want to be bioluminescent like a squid? Great! Go crazy!
Second: Full disclosure, I am the “My fursona is my TWOO SELF” flavor of furry. And the idea of having near total freedom of form— to be able to give myself a tail, claws, fangs, horns, [long censor beep], whatever I want, to abandon my human shape, fills me with Yearning.
In the complete opposite direction, I also find personal meaning in the clan as someone who suffers from chronic pain. Shamelessly copy-pasting a reply to another post:
The flavoring of Vicissitude as a creeping infection, as the actual body of the Eldest spread from generation to generation, able to rise up and consume its bearers at any moment, resonates with me very deeply as someone whose pain is caused by congenital tissue defects and which will inevitably get worse over time.
The idea that…there’s something horrible lurking inside your body. It can’t be cured. It can’t be removed. It is part of the very fabric of your being. And it is going to eat you alive, it is going to eat and eat until there’s nothing left. That no matter how you struggle, eventually it’s going to win. But you struggle anyways, because what the hell else is there to do?
The clan also has its revenant families, who are all collectively my most Specialist Little Guy in the world. I am a huge sucker for ye old trope of Special Family Bloodline Technique, and they scratch that itch for me in a really fun and interesting way.
Second favorite: Giovanni. I actually don't have any deep reasons for this one, I just think that “fucked up necromancer vampire crime family” is such a fun concept lol. I like organized crime stories. It's also another one for the “bloodline technique” category— in v20, they even have their own associated revenant family, the Rossellinis!
Third favorite: Salubri. The vibe I get is that they’re deeply underappreciated because people feel like their designation in both fluff and crunch as “the nice ones” means that they’re boring and clash with Masquerade’s overall tone. But I STRONGLY disagree— I think that's exactly what gives them so much potential for the sort of personal, existential horror that is supposed to be at the heart of Masquerade. I actually want to write a much longer post sometime that really gets into why, but part of it is this— being a magical pacifist unicorn prancing in a sunny flower field isn't “horrifying,” but being a magical pacifist unicorn in a dark forest where the only other animals are wolves that want to eat your face sure is. I also think the contrast between mainline (healer) Salubri and Salubri antitribu is a really rich thematic vein— again, I want to write more on this later.
Bloodline lightning round:
Ahrimanes: Cat-themed woman power. I like the concept of Gangrel in tune with the spiritual elements of nature. Spirits in World of Darkness are fun because they can be anything.
Ventrue antitribu: Knights in modern settings are cool.
However, if the question was “Which clan are you most like?” instead of “What's your favorite”, the answer is far and away Toreador. I love making art, and while I mostly just write now because my body has kind of fallen apart, I used to dabble in a bunch of different mediums and loved them all. That and I already do the “oh that flower/painting/ random pattern of light on the wall is really pretty *zones out and stares at it*” thing in real life lol so that would just be business as usual. If I couldn't be a Meat Criminal this is actually the clan I'd choose to be embraced into.
Thanks for giving me a chance to talk :)

Hunnydd ! Travelling Ahrimane currently stranded in Oxford
Tumblr media
Ahrimane tired mum, potential sire to Leo (?? •ᴗ•), adopter of strays into the travelling troupe and therefore wrangler of chaotic kine, one (1) rambunctious cainite and one (1) changeling. Girlbossing her way around the isles freeing folk from terrible situations and terribler men

Another one of my mini projects. I decided to draw cards for vtm clans. Not all of course, but almost? I plan 20 in total. Here is first one.
The Ahrimanes are a rare, all-female bloodline of Kindred that originally existed during the Dark Ages, headed by a woman called Ádísa. Sometime during the Long Night, Ádísa and her bloodline were lost and subsumed into Clan Gangrel. Centuries later, the bloodline was unknowingly resurrected by a woman called Muricia. Since then, the Ahrimanes roam the night again, albeit under a different guise and leader.
-WhiteWolf Wiki
For the curious one, I post sketches on my Patreon. The final art will be post on Patreon 2-3 days earlier as well.

BtWoD Animalism (Spiritus)
adapted the Ahrimane Bloodline's Discpline into a Variant of Animalism ala Thaumaturgy. figured i should post the result here since the project is finished. oh yeah and this is assuming you're running VtM 20th Anniversary, not V5. im an oWoD gal tbh (edit) oh yeah and BtWoD means "Beyond the World of Darkness" and it's a project to consolidate everything w/in both oWoD, CoD, and new WoD to make sense of it cosmologically. i wanted infinite crossovers and this is where i started OC under the cut
Developed by Clan Ahrimanes, Spiritus is a Variant of Animalism that focuses on tapping into the fundamental animal nature of Vampire-kind. By using their Vitae as a magical conduit, the Ahrimanes came to a strangely holistic view of the world around them, and they are often mistaken by other Kindred as being Shifters for it.
Those non-Ahrimanes who develop this Variant of Animalism are treated like hippies generally, and always need to show some fang before they’re properly respected.
(Rank 1) “Aid from Spirits” Source: VtM 20th Anniversary 1 Blood Point
The Ahrimanes found that there’s a slumbering Spirit in everything, and if you know how to concentrate your Vitae into it, you can rouse them into action temporarily. System: Roll Charisma + Occult @ DC 8 and touch an object. Success means you rouse the Spirit within the object, giving it a boost from your Vitae and granting you +2 Dice to your next Action utilizing it. This Power may not be used multiple times on the same object.
(Rank 2) “Summon Gaffling” Source: VtM 20th Anniversary 2 Blood Points
While the Ahrimanes don’t call them Gafflings, they found that they could further their previous technique into invoking territory, plucking small useful Spirits from the Umbra to perform tasks related to their existence. System: Roll Strength + Occult @ DC 8. Upon Success, the Kindred summons a Gaffling native to the area they’re in, usually an Animal Spirit, to perform a relevant task. Per Success, this Spirit will be more relevant to what the Kindred was looking to do— if the Kindred wanted to open a locked door, a Keycard or Lockpick Gaffling would be a good choice, but that might require 3 Successes. Once the Gaffling has done what it was brought to do, it blinks back into the Umbra.
(Rank 3) “Wearing the Spirit” Source: VtM 20th Anniversary 2 Blood Points
Either by dominating their Beast or convincing it that the decision will make it more powerful, the Ahrimanes figured out a way to enhance their undead bodies by forcing Gafflings to partially possess them. System: Roll Stamina + Occult @ DC 8. Upon Success, the Kindred allows a local Animal Gaffling to share her body, granting her a Die bonus equal to the # of Successes gained. Depending on the Animal Gaffling that she invites in, this Die Bonus will be assigned to a different area— a dove Gaffling would grant it to Survival, where a cat Gaffling might grant it to Dexterity. This effect lasts the Scene.
(Rank 4) “Consume Engling” Source: VtM 20th Anniversary N/A
Englings are dangerous prey, but far too enticing to pass up. Clan Ahrimanes are known for posing an annoyance to local Shifter packs, acting as an outside hunting force for the Spirits used in their rituals. System: The Kindred is now capable of detecting Englings, or Spirits of Sacrifice, that are usually utilized in rituals native to Shifters. These Englings can be caught and devoured, replenishing 2pts of Blood and 1pt of Willpower p/Rank of the Engling.
(Rank 5) “The Wild Beast” Source: VtM 20th Anniversary 3 Blood Points
“Gaia”? You mean the Earth? No, there’s no celestial blessings involved here— the Ahrimanes are simply shaping their Beast into something that feels right to them. At least, that’s what they want the other Clans to believe.  System: No Roll is required as the Kindred grows to 1.5x their normal size, growing a pair of Aggravated-dealing claws and coating themselves in a thin, yet noticeable amount of fur. The Kindred’s Strength gains +3, their Dexterity and Perception gain +2, and their Appearance drops to 0— hey, wait, isn’t this just a Werebeast-form for Kindred? This effect lasts for a number of hours equal to the Kindred’s Willpower rating, and cannot be utilized more than once a night.

Happy pride month! Featuring VTM: Dark Ages characters.
Leo in the middle is sporting the Gender-Fluid, Pansexual and Polyamory pride flags and his fiancées, Hengist and Godwin, are sporting the ally flag.
Leo's pronouns are He/him/she/her
Hengist and Godwin are He/Him
Not really sure how he managed this. It was a time period of self discovery and lots of communication... And the help of a certain Malkavian Priest (Emir) being lead couples therapist.
If you're new here there's character information below the cut!
Leo is a Ghoul. He has changed hands so many times but he's currently a Ventrue ghoul to the Childer of prince Horsa. His current Domitor is named Edmund.
Godwin was Horsa's ghoul but thanks to a ritual the bond has been severed. In that same ritual he accidentally ingested blood from a Malkavian, Tzimisce a Ahrimane and a Gangrel. He's currently obsessed with the idea of becoming a dragon. (Tzimisce)
Hengist is the Nosferatu Sheriff, twin to Horsa. He was embraced into one of the lowest clans as punishment for misdeeds. He is a diablerist but to us the players, we are still not sure if his victim truly was a Toreador as he says.
