Lost Ones Memories chapter 2
Nora: *looking at the weird marks on her hands with a grin* You think i was chosen for an ancient prophecy to save the world?
Pyrrha: *shrug* Maybe, or maybe you drew them on yourself when we were doing homework. *Chuckle* You know how distracted you can be sometime.
Nora: *chuckle* True that!
_ _ _
Jaune: What do you mean she was chosen for the holy grail war?! She's not even aware that magic exists, let alone what a grail war is!
Jeanne: *panicking* I-i don't know, ok!? She just woke up with the command seals on her right hand!
Jaune: *annoyed* Not only did the ritual fail this morning, but now Nora is the one who has taken my place? *Scratching his head* This doesn't make any sense!
Jeanne: *confused* Wait, the ritual failed? How?
Jaune: *sit down* Someone tempered with the flow of mana. That and the circle had some modifications which Viv- i mean Morgan is looking into right now.
_ _ _
Adam: *looking at his own command seals* ... *Looking at Cinder* Was this supposed to happen?
Cinder: *trying to find an answer* No! I was supposed to get a servant, not you! It doesn't make sense!
Adam: *looking at his servant* Sooo.... How do you feel about racism and inequality?
Edmon Dante: *dramatically posing* The abyss clouding mankind's heart shall be cleansed by our hands. *Making his cloak float in the wind* We shall break the chains of oppression and drag the perpetrators to hell!
Adam: ... *Smile* I like you.
_ _ _
Penny: *smiling, Voyager on her shoulder* I made a friend! I made a friend!
Ironwood: ... *Sigh* Winter-
Winter: *reading through her family's grimoire* Sir, i'm trying to find an explanation as well, this doesn't make any sense at all!
_ _ _
Merlot: *working on a beowolf* Dear, could you pass me the screwdriver?
Abigail Williams: *extending a tentacle from the void, picking the screw driver up and giving it to the mad scientist*
Merlot: *pat her head* Thank you.
AW: *smile*
_ _ _
???: *sigh* Aw, there is still no Ruler... *Chuckle* Maybe i should derail more summoning? *Smile* This world is still full of mystery after all, it's even funnier than earth!

I love how gacha games depicted the spacecraft voyager as starchildren full of wonders and curiosities. With the difference that r1999 voyager inspired from the golden record whereas fgo voyager inspired from le petit prince. Also fun fact NASA launch two Voyagers to space

Fate/Grand Order x LaDS crossover 🛰️🌠
So... brain went places again :v
Welcome little Voyager (From Fate/Requiem or FGO)~ And yes. Voyager as in that NASA space probe
Kinda miss this little boy and then I remembered that he's also got the Little Prince references... and he's a space craft... and the dots connect all the way to Xavier, some way or another and thus. This.

(Caligula) MY SON
Tumblr media
This is my last palette! I love his concept, his design, the details of his voice lines... He's my son!!! The Little Prince is also literally the book that got me into reading (so my literature degree is his fault!!!!) He's also my first Foreigner.... I love him to bits!!!!!
This was one of the requests I did for this palette challenge! Thank you everyone who sent me their request!

Something that always puts a smile on my face is when I get updates on the Voyager 1 probe from the fgo fandom.

Please, draw me an electric sheep
Cold, dark, lonely. All adjectives which could describe space. But beautiful and awe inspiring would have been his favorite ones.
Of course, being alone in the middle of the void might have been scary for some, but not for him, not for Voyager. He wasn't alone, nobody ever truly was. Somebody, somewhere is always thinking about you.
Of course, Voyager knew he wasn't someone. And he certainly wasn't a he, but it sounds boring. That thought occurred to him one day, as he floated amidst the stars.
A thought, sentience, isn't that the definition of being alive? To think? Even if nothing else was real, he knew he was. And simply being, in the infinity of space, was becoming boring. He needed to know more, to understand, to live!
And that's when the little prince first opened his eyes, alone on his little asteroid, not even bigger than a house.
___________________________________________
Tilting her head, Penny asked "Does it mean you are my friend?"
The Little boy said "I am your servant" He then asked "What is a friend?"
Penny, who didn't know the answer either, took a moment to answer
"Hm.... I don't know. I know what friends do when they are together, like painting their nails and talking about their days but... I never had a friend before, so i can't be sure." She said, apologetically
"And you want to be friends, even if you don't know what it means? To take the chance to experience friendship?" The Little boy asked, tilting his head.
"Of course!" She said "I might be a robot, but i want to feel everything life can give!" She smiled "What about you? Aren't you curious?"
The Little boy thought for a moment "... I do." He finally said "I want to know what it means to have a friend." He looked at her, nodding "I will be your friend, so we may both know what it truly means"
"Sensational!" She said, almost jumping from excitement "My father will be so pleased!" She stopped a moment, looking at her hand "Hm? What are those three marks?"

HRU Preview: Voyager
Tumblr media
Well well well, if it isn't mr Boyagersweep himself - how serendipitous. All things considered yeah this is fine. It's needed, certainly, since they made him a weird and IMO unfitting sort of hybrid DPS support. I'd be a lot more excited about 40% battery for Living Human servants if the "living human" trait list didn't just read like a list of all nasu's precious favs, or if Erice had *any* synergy whatsoever with Voyager. I dunno. I have Boyager myself and i'm not really excited by it even though it's not bad, cause like I said it's pretty hard to "fix" his not-exactly-broken-in-the-first-place kit without the kind of overhaul we never see them actually hand out. Relatedly, my own NP rankup for him is marked as EX aka optional for that very reason.
Pale Blue Dot B -> EX+
Deal heavy damage to all enemies.^ Deals special attack damage to [Heaven] Trait enemies. Increase Max HP for all [Star] attribute allies (3 turns). Increase NP Gauge for all allies by 20%. Further increase NP Gauge for all other [Pseudo-Servant or Living Human] or [Star] attribute allies^ by 10%. <Overcharge> Increase own NP Strength (1 turn). [Activates first] Apply Damage Cut to all other [Living Human] or [Star] attribute allies (5 turns). Increase Buff Removal Resist by 100% for all [Human or Star attribute] allies (X turns). [Max HP scales with level at 1000/1500/1750/1875/2000. Damage Cut scales at 300/600/900/1200/1500. Number of turns on Buff Removal Resist duration is equal to Overcharge Level.]

HOT TAKE TOURNAMENT
PRE-PRELIMINARY #60
Tumblr media
Submission 374
The Voyager Probe is the BEST fate character
He is a SPACE CHILD he is COSPLAYING THE LITTLE PRINCE he is the PERSONIFICATION OF HUMANITY'S CUROSITY AND LOVE FOR THE STARS he is AN EDGY TEENAGER GIRL'S BEST FRIEND he has TEAMED UP WITH A T REX IN CANON. He may not be a sexy waifu, he may not be a very powerful unit in fate grand order ,but he is MY SON and he has done nothing wrong in his life
Pre-preliminaries will be used to determine what qualifies as a hot take. Propaganda is encouraged!
Also, remember to reblog your favourite polls for exposure! (exposure like when you're exposed to the fact that the KISS Scooby Doo crossover does actually exist, scarring you for life)
special thanks to @plotdesigner for introducing me to fate, this design is so fucking cleeeeeaaaaan

Can I ask for some Star Trek book recs?
Absolutely!
Disclaimer: I'm not familiar with the more recent ones, so I can't give any recommendations there.
Also Disclaimer: I know I've left out a few classics and fan-faves, but if I went on any longer I'd just be telling Anon to read all of them.
Ongoing Disclaimer: Some of these are classics and enduring stories... and some of these are dumb fun that I really loved. You're just going to have to arrest me.
Star Trek: TOS
The Price of the Phoenix and The Fate of The Phoenix are like... not good exactly but if you're into Kirk and Spock at all you really should read them. Mostly just so you know when people mention them, but also because no one believes me when I tell them how completely over the top gay they are and how apparently no one called them on it at any point before they were publised.
The New Voyages and the New Voyages 2 are anthologies and both have some really fun short stories in them.
Enterprise by Vonda MacIntyre
Spock's World by Diane Duane - this is just classic, if you're into TOS or Spock at all, you should read this one. It's very good too, Diane Duane is extremely good and her ST:TOS novels are extremely true to the characterization.
My Enemy, My Ally by Diane Duane - I cannot recommend this one strongly enough holy shit just read it even if you aren't super into TOS. I read this as a little kid and it was the first "adult" Star Trek book I had read and it blew my tiny mind. Also the story is just so good, and it has a lot of great moments with the supporting cast, and some phenomenal original characters.
The Vulcan Academy Murders by Jean Lorrah is one of my favorites of all time. I still own a copy and have replaced it several times. Excellent Kirk & Spock interactions, a good plot, and interesting supporting characters. She also wrote The Idic Epidemic which is another good one set on Vulcan.
Windows on a Lost World by V. E. Mitchell - this one had a lot of Chekov, who was my favorite after Spock ^_^
Memory Prime by Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens
Shell Game by Melissa Crandall - this is another one I still own and reread to this day. Also lots of Chekov ^_^
Ice Trap, Death Count and Firestorm by LA Graf - they tend to write about Chekov, Sulu and Uhura and I really enjoy the friendship between them. Also they liked to really put Chekov through the wringer and I was all about that.
The Great Starship Race by Diane Carey
There are The Lost Years books, which take place between the TV show and the first movie which explain everyone's new ranks and what they've been up to.
Prime Directive by Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens
Best Destiny by Diane Carey
The Janus Gate books by LA Graf - I loved the shit out of these
Star Trek: TNG
Q-In-Law by Peter David - everything else aside, this one is hysterical
Q-Squared by Peter David - ditto
I, Q by Peter David and John de Lancie - saaaame
Requiem by Michael Jan Friedman and Kevin Ryan
Foreign Foes by David Galanter
Imzadi by Peter David - if you were into Riker and Troi at all this is a must-read. And even if you weren't it's a great book that contributed a ton to the backstory/lore of their relationship
ST: DS9
I remember really liking the Millennium series by Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens but I cannot for the life of me remember what happened in it aside from the fact that it was about an alternate universe so take that as you will.
Fallen Heroes by Dafydd ab Hugh was my jam for a while there, I read it to pieces.
I also really liked the Mirror Universe books, but that's about when I stopped reading.
I never read any novels for Voyager or the newer series so this is where I have to give up.
There are so many other good ones that didn't get mentioned - anything by AC Crispin, for example, and Brad Ferguson wrote a really good one about Kirk's Admiral days.
