Guys, pls watch the Voltron S6 Trailer in your native tongue because (!) I just checked the german trailer (having watched the original english trailer about 10 times) and I immediately noticed something I mistook in the original!

Sendak threatens Shiro (assuming it’s Shiro who he’s talking to for I have already read comments claiming it’s Lance) saying “I know your weakness” and from how I understood it, I assumed Sendak talks about Shiro’s weakness. But in the german version, Sendak uses the plural, therefore, he doesn’t refer to Shiro’s weakness but to THEIR weakness! And I think this is a huge and very important difference!

Voltron S6 Trailer Facts — A Closer Look

I thought much about it but I’m quite sure now, this fact refers to Hunk saying “Vrepit Sa” to those other Galra generals whilst saluting.

Though, maybe this is also referring to Lance who spoke the line which surprised me the most: the scene in which Keith returns to team Voltron and Lance asks “how do we know, you’re the real Keith?” The actual point is, why should Lance, or all of them assume, there’s a possibility, he’s not Keith? Is Lance simply joking as if it’s so surprising and not Keith-like that he returned? Or is there a reason behind his doubt? Like real clones existing and they’re aware?

Actually, I surmised Haggar to be that person knowing someone’s weakness which would be Shiro’s weakness as she corrupts his mind. (No debating here, whether he’s the real Shiro or not because I’m sort of sick and tired of that ‘not my Shiro’ discussion!)

But no, it’s Sendak (who’s more or less under Haggar’s influence) saying this to Shiro. Remembering season 1, we know Shiro has some obvious issues with Sendak from his time as prisoner of the Galra empire which had him struggle pretty badly and seriously, I’ve barely seen Shiro as vulnerable, shaky and unstable. So, now having Sendak “knowing his weakness”, this could lead to some hard to overcome situations/fights for Shiro which he maybe will have to deal with alone, or (as I presume him to react) he’ll prefer to keep the team out of this battle.

Well, not very exciting. The trailer itself, which for sure everyone has already watched iteratly. Plus, maybe they also referring to that article on Entertainment Weekly’s website.
