The thing is at this point of the story and where the canon relationship between Hak and Yona is at, it's impossible to deny they're a thing and that they love each other romantically, I'd be in denial saying they don't, but I just don't care I guess? I don't really ship them in the sense of I'm not interested in engaging in thinking, talking, creating etc around their romantic relationship. I know it's here, but I just nod and move on. That being said I enjoy their general relationship. Like, I think what is good with them is that the romance is build on a solid foundation of trust, support, and love that is not just romantic. Like they're in love sure but before that they are great friends. I love them when they're funny and cute together, when they want to reach and support each other and their individual character arc can be partly seen through the development of their relationship, they're definitely a pair that I can't imagine separated, but I just don't vibe with the romance on top of all that if that makes sense? I enjoy them the most as besties ahah. I don't imagine them not ending up together at the end either, I wish it for them because I can tell that's what would make them happy in the canon, but I feel pretty distant about it and if that was just me I would break them off for my personal fantasies <3

So tdlr: not reallyngjbjhbj but it's hard to say a hard "no" in the context of akatsuki no yona actually has a well developed romance that is very much canon. Like I'm not stupid I swear.

Kurara, she’s beautiful when she went in her professional mode.

But when Natsume showed her that invitation letter (given by Hakozaki Beniko last chapter) she’s interested... She just like this LOL

Shinobu was here, too. She acted all cool when she saw Natsume and his little cat, but when Natsume told her Kurara was here, she immediately became quite excited LOL

Natsume didn’t know it’s an exorcist's auction.

It seems that Shinobu couldn’t see Youkai.

Natsume saw a picture with a female who looked like Reiko...

And than it seem that an auction item got stolen. Then Natsume saw him.

Natsume suspected Ban may steal the item. He ran after that man and to the VIP rooms.

Where he met....

Now, Vol29 cover almost comes true.

Tanuma came here to drop some auction item from his father’s friend. He wanted to leave after dropping this, but than he heard a name, which he knew Natsume kept worrying about.

“Black Misa” Kuromine Misa, who maybe Ban’s mistress, maybe also here.

Actually, this auction was anonymous. So I don’t know where Tanuma heard her name. But if she’s really here, maybe Kurara and Shinobu would have more important roles than I thought.

And the title of this chapter is “Portrait Of A Girl, Part I”, I think that picture with a female looking like Reiko may also be important in later chapters.

Since volume 30 is now confirmed to be worked on (I've heard it's going to be released in March but take that with a grain of salt), what're you hoping in regards to volume covers and bonus content? Me, besides the obvious (Garou, Garou, Garou), I'm actually kinda hoping Homeless Emperor and Golden Sperm get a cover dedicated to them, or even Atomic with the Sunblade!

Let's see...my wishes for a Blast cover were fulfilled with the most recent vol29, so that's good. So at this point, besides the obvious Garou and Saitama stuff, I'd be happy with any other plot relevant character and/or monster (like Golden/Platinum) getting some cover spotlight too. (Previously I might have wanted to see a solo Flash cover, but by now I think he's gotten enough half-cover spotlights lately to make up for it.) So perhaps even Atomic with his fellow Sword Masters might be good cover candidates. Or even Prime Bang and Bomb from their flashbacks! That'd be a good surprise. (I'm feeling it might be too early yet for King's Ultimate Hellfire Wave Motion Cannon stuff, and Metal Bat doesn't return til later too.) Otherwise I really hope we at least get to see the color scheme settled for Garou's 'volcanic' form on the surface.

But I know for sure what I don't want to see - any more roadtrip 'filler' scenes like vol27 getting the main cover treatment again, cause it's simply tonally inconsistent and irrelevant to the actual plot (inside the vol) that's going on. (Meaning, it's essentially false advertising for what's in the vol, which I don't like. Also cause it means missed opportunity for others, like Darkshine, who in exchange by now has probably missed his cover chance. Inside omake content is fine with that kinda bonus breather stuff however.) So yes, I'd be pleasantly surprised and happy with any plot relevant (participating) character or in-vol scene reenactment displayed on the cover before the focus shifts to the more important Garou and Saitama (and 'god'?) stuff later.

This more than anything is what makes Deku the Greatest Hero. He’s not in it for anything other than helping people, and that means Everyone.
