You know, since I mentioned demo voices already, here’s what I imagine what might have happened to them

Voice of the Doubting -> Voice of the Skeptic: Intelligent and blunt with a dry sense of humor, but his growing cynicism has made him more harsh and emotionally closed off.

Voice of the Meek -> Voice of the Paranoid: Plain and unassuming with moderate anxiety, but overtime she feels like she can no longer feel safe at any given moment, thus becoming an easy target.

Voice of the Obsessed -> Voice of the Stubborn and Voice of the Hunted: Originally a single voice, but their nature was deemed too “destructive” so they were split into two. If Stubborn and Hunted were to ever fuse again, Obsessed would come back.

Voice of the Flinching -> Voice of the Cheated: Initially as jumpy and cautious as Meek/Paranoid, but the more she keeps getting screwed over, the more frustrated she becomes and decides to take no shit from anything or anyone.

Felt like dropping the demo Voices into my TTRPG AU so here they are (with designs made in Heroforge), under the cut:

Flinching is a sorcerer from birth who naturally attracts strange occurrences and otherworldly beings—his powerful innate abilities have the same effect on them as artificial light has on moths. Literally—his presence drowns out the natural background magic that spirits use to navigate and to understand the outlines of their domain, in addition to drawing attention from beings outside the natural world. Flinching generally sees them as dangerous annoyances and has made an art of evading involvement with them. He helped Cheated figure out the mechanics of his pact shortly after he first entered it—he'd already had a bit of past experience with the patron in question, but hadn't fallen into her trap like Cheated did.

Doubting is a fairly well-known magical dabbler and magic items collector. His magic isn't particularly powerful, but he knows a few tricks from just about every class's playbook, and his extensive collection of magical equipment means he and his party are guaranteed to have the right tool for anything they may encounter. He was the previous keeper of Skeptic's tavern, but not for long—it made a good base of operations for a while, but he was looking for somewhere more private, and handed over ownership to Skeptic when he found a better place.

Obsessed is something between a fighter and a ranger, and is famous for both his skill in combat and his uncooperative personality. The only people he seems to be capable of working with are his current party, though he still tends to go off on his own. He's come into contact with Stubborn a few times. Killed him a few times, never really got as well as he gave. Stubborn is still chasing after him, trying to scrape out a victory. It's probably good they both have this enrichment.

Meek's outward tough-guy appearance... doesn't even last past appearances, really. He's generally overcautious and does his best to stick with a group, even when he isn't actively on a quest. Despite dressing like some sort of shadow or fire mage, most of his magic circles around defensive spells, with very little real firepower in his arsenal. He gets along with most people he meets, and those who know him would say there's only one person he genuinely dislikes—his junior student, Paranoid, whom he speaks of with equal measures hatred and fear.

Pingping is very cute, I wished we got more scene with the "real" her. In chapter 5 she hides and clings onto the Destined One few times and also calls him 好哥哥 (litereally transaltion good big brother).

In my head, with Oz she is the one who freed Pingping in her fox form fangling from the tree while the Destined One was battling. And seeing as there is another girl there, Pingping clings onto Oz and calls her 好姐姐 (big sister), despite Pingping being 500+ years older than Oz.

The Destined One is having none of that :d and that's how the Red Boy figured out his weakness

Redesigned my Skeptic! I thought my initial design for him made him a little too approachable, which wasn't that fitting for his gruff demeanor. So now he's cool looking trenchcoat! It's a must have for a detective like him~

And he's got a few more outfits where that came from!

I headcanon that "Voice of the Doubting", who appears in the first demo, was his original name. But the more cynical and harsh he becomes, the more his doubt evolves into skepticism and the less formal he appears.

As for his outfit in EOTN and Den? Well, this is just what happens when he spends too much time with Stubborn and Hunted.

Super cool that Aya Hirano reported her husband for domestic abuse some time ago when she just married him this year and now they’re divorcing, so because she plays Makima in the Chainsaw Man stage play everyone’s going “She must have abused him.” “Wow, canon Makima is real.” “Aya Hirano is such a horrible woman.” Which is just. Incredibly depressing to hear considering all the shit she’s gotten over the years for having a personal life.
