Law vs Blackbeard reaction number 1 out of 4 (I think) spoilers below

Alright, here we go. I'm coming into watching this fight knowing how it will end. I know that Law will be defeated and I know that the Polar Tang will be destroyed. Other than that I know nothing.

So when the submarine is leaking and the heart pirates are panicking and calling for their captain I'm right there panicking with them like, are they already sinking? Is this it? Instant defeat? What is the captain doing? Why is he just sitting there looking mysterious?? HELLO??

And then he lets out a little cough.

And I'm way too busy panicking about the leaking submarine to pay attention to hair and beard details so I just go "WHY IS HE COUGHING?? IS HE SICK??" Is it the sea water? Is he creating a Room so massive he's destroying his internal organs in the process? That's badass! What is going on though? LAW??"

And what's going on is that he's been sitting there, quietly enduring a bit of forced feminization, for who knows how long, before he finally gets himself together and stands up to give some orders, to his very confused but enthusiastic crew, wearing that slutty tank top but now it's also soaking wet.

And at this point I'm just going "SHE IS REAL?? Fem!Law is canon??! WHAT IS HAPPENING???" because of course I've seen the fan art but there is gender swap fan art of every character that's ever been, that doesn't mean it actually happens in the source material!

This is real though, and I think Law handles the whole thing extremely well and god I love how he's just so determined to remain professional and very Law. Like, he's going through it but he's not gonna acknowledge it. Focus!

While his entire crew gets infected with the girl germs or whatever this sudden mysterious infection is called. The only woman on the crew doesn't get to turn into a man which, I'm sad she didn't get to take part in the experience but she seems to be having the exact same reaction I'm having so I think she'll be fine.

AND THEN!

Law growls his way back into man shape again! Just straight up rages out of girl mode while also lifting the whole submarine back to the surface again? I was a bit too WOAH WTF at the new innovative camera angles they never use on him otherwise to fully grasp what was going on.

But it was badass!!

AND HE'S BACK!

and he's still wet

a gift to bisexuals everywhere

So anyway, it turns out one of the villains has disease powers and that's why all that happened and the disease guy is really impressed that Law cured it and cured his entire crew in the process and then he's like "I bet you enjoyed it. The feminization disease." and it feels like one of the most 4th wall breaking comments of the series.

I’m very curious about the party’s reaction to finding out that Siffrin is a ghost/imaginary friend given life through craft for your Show’s Cancelled AU.

As somebody who hasn’t seen the Genshin story this was inspired from, I’d imagine that the party would start to look for Siffrin and eventually stumble upon the King’s old house. There would probably be something in there that revealed Siffrin’s connections to the King and what exactly happened to Siffrin.

(Just an additional thought of what if the King’s craft keeping Siffrin alive was a more deliberate thing instead of a passive thing. Like what if the King killed Siffrin and then regretted it, using wish craft to bring Siffrin back.)

(Also, If the King’s wish craft was keeping Siffrin alive, then couldn’t another wishcraft user bring Siffrin back?)

Okay, so! Everyone else except Bonnie didn't know about Siffrin's whole "hasn't actually been alive for years" thing until after they've defeated the King. Bonnie figured it out a while before reaching Dormont and thought it was kinda neat being a sort of ghost, if not a bit sad that Siffrin couldn't experience things like he used to. They were also pretty excited at the notion of having their own super special secret only they and Siffrin were privy to

The others tho did know there had been something between Siffrin and the King before as they went up the House, especially during the confrontation and the three in the know just basically implying something really bad happened

Siffrin already made everyone forget him when Odile, Mirabelle, and Isabeau figure it out. They were all trying to piece together fragmented memories of him while looking for him when Odile realizes they won't find him, physically at least, and screw it she's gonna drag him back one way or another

They do also stumble upon where the King used to live while trying to find a way to get Siffrin to stick around longer. Mostly a bunch of notes both had on ways to bring back the island into memory scattered around, and some of Siffrin's stuff like his cloak and hat hidden away in a box

Also on that additional thought- the craft was deliberate but the end result was accidental. Memory is a bit more important in the AU's world building (kind of a bit more in line with Genshin and it's whole thing about remembrance = existence) and the two made an attempt to force the island to be remembered. The wish that made the island disappear and the ones they made ended up mixing weird, and it resulted in Siffrin getting killed but still being around and tied to the King's initial wish

Wip Wednesday for yet another new fic I started because impulse control whomst??

Anyways this time I'm trying a fic full of cliché lovable tropes! We've got a high school au with nerd Eddie in glasses, sweetheart jock Buck and fake dating amongst other things! We also have Linda and Terry as Eddie's bffs because I love them 🤷🏽

Eddie nearly jumps out of his skin when he closes his locker door and is met with a “Hey, Diaz” and their school's star football player leaning in way too close into his personal space. He adjusts his glasses nervously, looking around to see if this is some sort of bullying attempt but sees none of the other players around. “Buckley. How can I help you?”. “C'mon man, you know everyone calls me Buck”, the tall blonde replies with a playful whine. Eddie doesn't have time for this. His next class starts in a few minutes. “And I go by Eddie. What do you want?”. Buck's face lights up like a puppy and he crowds Eddie against the locker. Which okay, Eddie's not that much shorter than him and he's by no means skinny but Buck is definitely bulkier and it makes him feel much smaller than he actually is. He doesn't really wanna think about why that makes him feel good. He tries his best not to rear back or flinch as Buck leans down so that his face is close to his. His eyes are such a pretty shade of blue, Eddie's brain unhelpfully supplies. “Listen, Coach has been nagging me about picking my grades up and you're like one of the smartest people I know in our grade. Do you think you can help me out with some tutoring after school? I'll pay you for the time of course”. Of course. What else would someone like Buck want with someone like Eddie. “Depends on how much you're offering. I do have work after school, so we'll have to work around that. And we have to do it at your place”. Something flickers across Buck's face at that but it's gone way too fast for Eddie to decipher. He shrugs and says “Works for me. I can pick you up from work and head to my house. 3 days a week sounds good to you?”.

Eddie can work with that. He'll have the remaining days to do his own studying. Plus, money's money and he can save up faster now to finally get a car for himself. Also, Buck is possibly the least offensive jock in their school anyways so he'll probably be alright.
