Socialite Series: Cherry’s Master Post
Things that have helped me, that could help you. Here is a master list of my softmaxxing journey!
Body:
J*hn Bent*n’s workouts: Yes he’s an asshole but his workouts really do work. He used to train models and his workouts are life changing.
2. B-12 Lipo salines: These you can consume in a shot (like an injection) or in a saline (go to a GOOD DOCTOR for this). I prefer the saline, and my doctor recommended the 6 week course for me (one saline every week). It burns subQ fat and that was the main reason why I began using those. There is zero side effect to these, acc to my doc. edit: don’t really recommend these anymore. I’ll update this list when I finish my Emsculpt.
3. Diet: More protein, more vegetables, more water and lesser intake of carbs. Carbs are important but i used to over-consume them. Cutting down has helped me a lot. I also did a gut bacteria test (you basically sent a piece of your shit to a lab and they analyse it) to understand what foods worked for me and what didnt.
4. Probiotics for metabolism management
5. Measuring: I stopped tracking weight and began tracking body fat % instead. I feel that this works better for me.
6. Wood therapy: I KNOW. You lot will think its bogus but it helped me and im sticking to it, so there. There’s no wood therapy spa near me, so i ordered the wood therapy tools from amazon, plastic wrap, a waist trainer, almond oil. I looked up videos on wood therapy and lymphatic drainage, and i do it for about 5 mins on my tummy and thighs before my work outs, wrap my torso with plastic wrap, throw the waist trainer on top.

Skin:
Accutane: this helped me tremendously with my acne and my skin is 95% blemish free now. If you are taking this, remember to be disciplined and regular.
Zero alcohol: I stopped drinking completely and its done my skin and health wonders.
Products: Sunscreen + Vitamin C combo in the AM. Retinol + moisturiser at night. Recommended by my dermat.
Hair removal: I refuse to shave because its so uncomfortable so i prefer to wax once in 2 months. Personally, when I began exfoliating my body twice a week - I use a scrub by the Body Shop - I noticed that the hair was growing back slower than it used to. I use a loofah for everyday too. I don’t believe in laser because it’s never just 6 sessions; you do have to have “maintenance” sessions as well post the 6.
Face sculpting: Gua sha on alternative nights. I dont know if this works or is placebo, but I felt like it did.
Body lotion every day. Twice a day sometimes. I swear, it makes you smell good and feel so soft.
Expensive make up: specially, foundation. I’m sorry, i know this could be controversial. But idk what cow semen Charlotte Tilbury puts in her make up, it seriously makes me glow. I’m yet to find a good drug store alternative. A while back, I stopped wearing concealer, and I began using a lighter shade of CT’s foundation as concealer over my normal shade. I feel that because the products are chemically the same, they blend better and don’t react and “peel.” Highly recommend that too. For the rest of my face like powder, blush, eyeliner, I do use normal drug store make up.

Oral hygiene:
I used to have braces. After taking them off, I noticed a difference in my jaw.
Brush, floss, Listrine, tongue cleaner
Mild whitening. I think Hollywood level teeth whitening looks crazy and I want to look as “naturally” beautiful as possible.

Hair care:
For hair growth: as recommended by my doc: minoxidil hair foam 5% w/w Tugain Foam.
High frequency wand before wash days on my scalp.
Moroccan hair oil. I use a tiny amount everyday on my ends after I finish my make up for the day and I swear it makes my hair shine like crazy.
I also got hair Botox done because i used to have curly but absolutely unmanageable hair. I tried to make it work for years but i gave up and caved in to having permanent straight hair and I love it.
I only shampoo twice a day so on days when i workout but don’t shampoo, i use hair perfume. I spray some of it on my brush and run it through my hair. I swear it works.

Overall:
The colour palette theory seriously works. I didn’t realise that wearing the right colours can impact you so much.
Confidence is absolutely key. I seriously recommend going to a group class of some sort if you have the time and just mingling with random people. Social situations are important to gauge your “standing.”
Random but if you have a big nose: grow out your eyebrows / fill them in slightly thicker. I noticed that when I had thin eyebrows, my nose would stand out more but when I made them thicker, it balanced my face out better.
Steam iron your clothes before you wear them. You will look 100% put together.
*IF* you’re aesthetically challenged when it comes to picking clothes, use my rule of thumb: never wear any more than 3 colours at once (remember: IF you can’t put outfits together).

100 days of mental healthcare: day 96/100
It was a slow day. The weather was perfect today: windy and pleasantly warm. I don't know why, but gentle days like this make me nostalgic. I feel like making an iced coffee and reading a book while the sun warms my skin and the wind cools me down. I didn't have time to do that (just a few minutes of reading after lunch), but the feeling kept me happy for many hours. It's our last warm day before the cold front that will arrive tomorrow, so I'm really grateful for it.
I had a few moments of true happiness today: in the morning I saw a blimp in the sky and I thought it was awesome! I haven't seen blimps in the sky since I was a kid. It made me happy like I was eight years old again. After lunch, I went downtown to buy some supplies for my scented candle shop and walked down streets that I used to know like the back of my hand… when I was in architecture school, I worked near this cathedral and I would always stop to take pictures of it or do a quick sketch. It was good to see it after so many years. It was like meeting a very old friend.
Even though I was very productive today, the ADHD paralysis got in the way, especially in the morning, and I felt like I wasted a lot of time. Sometimes it’s hard to come to terms with being neurodivergent and remembering that it’s okay to have bad moments in your day. But life can still be good.

while everyone gets on the tub, she waits then decides to stand in the back next to haechan who she asks a question to

she bounces slightly in place, moving to keep warm while the instructor tells them what to do and the boys ness around
once in, she hides behind one of the wooden boards and fixes her gloves before holding her gun
“i am not going grocery shopping”
she gets up and spots mark, shooting him from the back and hiding again
“wait…. hans! was that you?”
she stood up, shooting him continuously until he dies before he could kill her
“dude!” “every man for himself, mark!”
she actually moves forward
there a clips if her shooting renjun and jaemin before she hides again and sees chenle

she and chenle go back out into the field and take down jeni and renjun again
she’s in the middle of running away from haechan when she realizes

she looks ahead and sees jisung looking up in confusion, then sees jaemin shooting from near the rest area for spectators
she and haechan exchange looks for a moment then haechan shoots her, effectively killing her
she gave him an incredulous look before haechan laughed and ran away
there’s more clips of her shooting and being shot at before the instructor calls them over
when haechan doesn’t call her name, she grins, then he says those he called goes home
“are you kidding me, hyuck?” “haeeun-ah, i trust you”
she sighs and loops her arm through chenle’s in solidarity
in the car, she’s the one in the driver’s seat
when mark asked why he chose the three in last place to go home, she scoffed
“hyuck was being petty for variety because of our cheering” “what?”
she left it for chenle to explain as she buckled her seatbelt
when mark turned the camera to chenle in his frustration, it caught her smiling fondly at the younger boy and gently brushing his cheek
she started the car
“you three talk amongst yourselves, don’t distract me while i drive”
jeno opened a vitamin drink and passed it to her before she pulled out of the parking lot
“wait, hannah, what are you cooking today?” “i can make hotteok for us to snack on, but is there anything you guys want as a meal?” “how about a soup?” “hmm… does yukgaejang sound good?” “sounds great” “good, now don’t distract me!”
she pulls out of the parking lot while the other three continue debating what else to cook
when they arrived at the store, chenle walked over to her side of the car and opened the door for her
she looked at chenle attentively while he talked about his sunglasses

“You’re not joking.” Y/N was surprised to see Steve come here the next morning carrying his stuff. She didn’t consider him serious about joining her revenge on Solomon.
“You will stay in that room.” She put her reading glass on the documents and brought him to the guest room.
Steve looked around the guest room. There’s a bed, desk, mirror and wardrobe. He wanted to put his outfit inside the wardrobe, but he saw inside there already someone else outfit; for a glance, he could tell it was a male outfit.
Y/N notices Steve's curiosity since he is stuck looking at the clothes. “It belongs to my friend who sometimes sleeps here if he has a hangover. You can throw it if you want.”

He was surprised when he heard Y/N had a friend. Probably, he has the same personality as her.
After he had arranged his stuff, Steve opened the fridge to put the food he had brought from his place. He was surprised by what he had seen. He’s poor but will try to buy various groceries like meat, vegetables, and instant food. But inside her fridge, there are a dozen boxes of chocolate milk, and who put a box of mac and cheese in the fridge, and there’s nothing in the freezer.
“This is your food?”
Y/N picked one of the boxes “It already has calcium and vitamins. It’s enough for me.” Besides, Y/N doesn’t know how to cook and only orders a delivery, or Tony will send food to her.
Steve shook his head. “I will go to the supermarket.”

Once again, she gave him too much money. But this time, he will spend all of it. After she gave the money, she went back to reading a document.

Steve went back after he bought the groceries. This is the first time he enjoyed shopping without caring about money. After that, he returned to Y/N's apartment and started to cook dinner.
Y/N wasn’t keen on Steve's idea, “Just order a delivery.”
Steve was cutting the carrots with a knife on the chopping board. The knife he currently uses is of high quality, different from what he had. He wants to use the kitchen applicants in this apartment.
He waved the knife in his hand. “You just got a seizure; you need to eat homemade food. This time, listen to me; I’m holding a knife here.”
At Steve’s threat, Y/N scoffed, “That was the kindest threat that I ever had from someone holding a knife.”

Steve stared at her. Is it his illusion? Did he just see her being kind to him?
Steve was watching the TV in the living room. He wasn’t interested at first, but he always wanted to know how it felt like to watch a football game on 75-inch TV. When he turned it on, it was marvellous. His eyes were glued to it.
While watching, he smelled perfume from behind; he turned around and saw Y/N wearing a dress for a party. But why she’s carrying a gym bag? It doesn’t go well together.
“I'm going out tonight, don’t wait for me.”

Y/n rolled her eyes. She closed the door and left. She is always like this, being secretive.

At night, Steve was awake by a sound. It’s not loud, but the sound keeps repeating. He couldn’t recall the sounds, but he felt familiar.

He opened the door and saw Y/N sitting in the living room, her hands counting money. The sound he heard was from the money-counter machine. And the gym bag is beside her, but now there’s a lot of money inside the bag.
He rubbed his eyes. Is he dreaming or what?
Y/N felt someone was watching her. She lifted her head, and there he was, her new housemate. He looks dumbfounded, like a lost rabbit who enters the wolf’s den.

Y/N stared at Steve expressionlessly. It made him uncomfortable. Is this a borderline he couldn't cross? He should’ve stayed asleep and ignored her.
But then suddenly, Y/N called out his name, “Stevie. You’re really cute as shit.”
Steve was dumbfounded; in which part he’s cute?
Y/N tapped the stack of money on the table. “In front of you is what $500,000 in cash looks like.”
"Bank still opens at night?"
She chuckled while counting the money. "Don't be silly, I got this from gambling."
Her tone was playful, but he didn’t find this funny at all. Steve crossed his arms. When he thought she was good, the next thing she did always shocked him. He wondered if staying with her would be fine for his heart.
"Y/N, you play a dangerous game."
Y/N nodded, agreeing with what he said. She stops counting and looks at him, “You see, Steve. There's something wrong with me. I don't feel scared, guilt, lust and love. I love the adrenaline of taking a big risk.”

The only man who made her uncomfortable was Brock Rumlow. Steve nodded.

10 things to think about before you share your heat with your pack for the first time
Which method of contraception will work best? Key here is the number of your pack!! How many alphas/betas are you working with? a) The Shot -> Contraceptive injection in the days before your heat hits, 99% effective with 5 or less Alphas. b) Reverse Shot -> Contraceptive injection for any alphas/betas in your pack [I recommend this for larger packs!!] 99% effective, especially if you keep on your own regular pill. c) Keep with your usual pill -> One alpha/two betas. 75% Effective. d) IUD -> 99% effective for unmated packs, lasts for 5 years. 75% effective with your mates. Always keep in mind that although it feels good and makes your omega instincts happy to partake in fluid play during your heat, any respectful partner that is worth your time and energy will wear a condom for the duration should you ask them. This is always a method to boost your contraception, and can be used in conjunction with any of the above methods. Yes they do sell heat specific condoms and dental dams, and they should be available in any corner shop.
Are there any supplements I should be taking? This is highly specific to your biology - but please ask this question of a doctor or nurse if you haven't had an active heat in a while [nesting heats anyone!?] But also!! If you've been nursing or just single, this is really important! Most doctors will recommend a general vitamin [wellomega, vitanest, or similar are pretty good in this regard] but you may end up needing something heavy in zinc or iron. This question may mean you need to get blood tests, heads up!
How many days am I entitled to for my heat leave? And if you know your heat will run over ask for a medicinal certificate - for you and your partners if need be.
If you suffer from PHS [pre heat syndrome], talk to your doctor about pain levels and management. You are not alone, don't suffer in silence. There are prescription pain killers for those killer cramps, okay!!
If you haven't been sexually active with your partners before this, get tested. Don't ignore this bullet point, open STD TESTING NEAR ME and book it right now.

Choose appropriately and don't be ashamed about whatever you pick.]
Do you have omega mates? If you do, this is even better - nobody knows omegean pleasure like an omega, and nobody can read your heat emotion microchanges like an omega either. [these are happy tears, I swear - right?] Talk with them. You should talk with all members of your pack before your heat, but talking with your nestmate(s) is(are) particularly important. Whether its about how your heatspace displays itself [messy? demanding? argumentative? teary? subby? dommy? etc] or about whether you feel that you might get jealous of them. I knew an omega once who only spend their heats with their nestmates. Whatever way you feel, it's valid. People will only know what you want if you tell them!!
Do you have new towels and sheets? I know it sounds expensive. But once you use them for your heat with these partners, you can reuse them for the same. Your nose will scent lots of things during heat [non heat sex, weirdly, can be a trigger for some so be aware of that!], and your skin is usually over sensitive afterwards. Treat yourself!! [or beg bribe scent someone into treating you!!
Sex toys!! It is not a failure on your partners part to buy sex toys. [and its not a failure on your part to buy lube. the glide makes everything better, invest.] If you haven't had an active heat in a while, sex toys are a good idea, as you might not know where your heat libido will be. Having an aid is useful for so many reasons - body configurations being the most obvious! Go and invest in one or two heat specific ones.

When Feels came back from the shops to see Kane sitting on the floor, candles and loose bits of paper spread out in a ring around him, he didn’t pay it much mind.
“Afternoon, Luce,” he said, trying not to step on anything that looked too important as he made his way to the kitchen and dumped his bags on the table.
“Got us more milk.”
Kane made a distracted sound that probably meant thank you.
“You’re not going to burn more sigils into our carpet are you?”
At that, Kane did look up.
“That was one time!” he protested, in the way of someone who, from plenty of past experience, knows exactly how the conversation is about to go. “And I got rid of them.”
“You moved the desk over them,” Feels pointed out.
“I moved the desk over to the window so we could both get some more sunlight whilst working.”
“It doesn’t even fully cover the damage.”
“You suggested I needed more vitamin D, I might add.”
“Look at those scorch marks near the front corner.”
Kane threw a pencil at him, which missed by a good few centimetres. The worst part was that Feels was entirely in the right.
“That’s why I’m writing everything on paper this time. If they ignite again, they’ll burn themselves out before the fire has a chance to spread.”
That…
That wasn’t the worst idea Kane had ever had, Feels was forced to admit.
“What’re you doing with it?” he asked, rather than say that thought aloud. He was only half-listening for Kane’s answer as he put the milk in the fridge, then went back to the bags to fetch the cheese.
“Summoning a dragon.”
A thud as Feels dropped his cheese.
A pause.
“Luce,” he said slowly. “Do you remember the bit about not setting fire to our flat?”
“It won’t! Really, Brutus, you could have some more trust in me.”
There was no chance of Feels winning this particular argument. And, maybe, if he was really being honest, he didn’t want to win. The thought of seeing an actual dragon was one hell of an incentive, even given the fiery risks.
He sighed, picked up the cheese.
“Well, don’t let me stop you.”
Kane grinned at him, an infectious smile Feels was compelled to return.
“Þa se wyrm onwoc-”
Wait-
“That’s Beowulf,” Feels interrupted. “Why are you reciting Beowulf to summon a dragon? Don’t you need something a little more… magical-spell?”
Kane looked less-than-impressed at the break in his focus.
“If someone started chanting a story about you, that’d probably attract your interest, right? How do you even know that?”
“Some guy did a musical about it once.”
Kane made another sound, one that translated to that explains it. Turning back to the ring of paper, he cleared his throat and began reciting again.
“Þa se wyrm onwoc,
Wroht wæs geniwad,
Stonc ða æfter stane,
Stearcheort onfand
Feondes-”
He stopped.
Something was happening.
A shiver went down Feels’ back. He felt uncomfortably aware of his own teeth, and the air had started to smell purple.
Reality compressed in on itself, then, just as quickly, sprang back into place with a sproing which wasn’t heard so much as felt.
Feels blinked.
“Oh my god,” he breathed.
The amazed laugh that came from Kane meant he wasn’t imagining it either.
There was a dragon in the centre of the paper ring. A tiny thing, barely half a metre tall at its shoulder, with a squat body, thick neck, and wings that looked more vestigial than actually useful for flying. Two horns curled out from the top of its head.
Feels blinked again.
“Is it weird to call it cute?”
Kane was already kneeling down to get a better look. The dragon watched his movements with bright amber eyes, but let Kane run a hand down its ridged scales with no complaint.
“It is cute, isn’t it?”
“What’re you going to do with it?”
Kane’s hand was too close to the dragon’s mouth now for Feels’ comfort. He wondered how you’d explain fingers being bitten off by a dragon to A&E.
“Do you need a permit to keep one in your house?”
“Probably not, but only due to a lack of imagination on the government’s part. I expect the RSPCA wouldn’t be impressed.”
His sentence trailed off.
Kane shuffled backwards quickly, motioning for Feels to do the same.
A clicking sound, not unlike a lighter, came from the dragon’s throat. It hiccupped, then coughed a small, fizzing, spark onto the floor.
They watched in silence as the carpet began to smoulder.

The door opens up and a Fatui Agent comes into the shop, a flat, white package in their hands. A Hydro Visions hangs from their hips, sometimes visible when the coat flapped open. The waiter was busy serving a table and a certain Harbinger was not in sight.
Looking around the shop, they finally spot the Owner sitting by the counter. They stop for a moment, seemingly bewildered, before they resume their stride and bow before the woman.
"Miss Rin? My name is Varley. Lady Secretary sends her regards, but is unable to come today. The Lady noticed that your health was...damaged and instructed me to deliever a few remedies, including vitamines from the Pharmacy and a In-House Tea-Supplement to boost your elemental energy."
*Varley lays the package in your hands, their hands carefully not making contact with your skin.*
They bow again and stride out of the shop, hastening their steps. A few seconds later, a crash and loud cursing was heard. A figure speed away, just a shadow, but blood flowed freely from an injured arm, splattering the street outside.
"I guess we were right?"
"...Yes, Lady Secretary."
"Sighh...Go get treated at Med Bay and join your twin at their research."
Were he not the Geo Archon, the Geo Energy would have been completely eroded in her body it seems.
[ Inside the package, hidden near the Tea-Supplement, was a tiny folded paper with a Snowflake attached to it. It felt cold to the touch, like ice cream. It can fit inside your hand perfectly.]

meirin blinked as she stared for a few moment at the package. even as the strange person walked away, so many questions popped inside her mind. carefully, she opened the package and checked all the items closely. they all seemed expensive and carefully selected.
her fingers brushed against the small paper and unfolded it, frowning when the strangely cold snowflake dropped onto her palm.
for a moment, she looked utterly bewildered as her eyes skimmed over the content.

"hmmm..."
i should remember to treat her to a cup of tea the next time she comes by.... but why would she say all these things?
i don't even have a connection with any archons?

she decided to pocket the strange snowflake for now.

something about yesterday
i like errand days, sometimes.
yesterday, my partner cory and i went to have brunch at the neighborhood pancake house. he was making it up to me for sleeping in until 5:30 pm the day before (yes it was ridiculous - we didn't get any chores done). the clouds that hung over the city gave a constant threat of a rainy day. when we got to the restaurant, it was busy, and the food was mid, but the coffee was just how i like it. something about that was so comforting. it was about finding comfort in simple things amidst the general discomfort and inconvenience of it all. one of my profs in grad school once said that the mundane can be a portal to the sacred. and it's true. magic is everywhere, even in your morning coffee.
after that, we went to a japanese cosmetics store (tokyo no beauty). this was unplanned. yesterday was supposed to be about brunch and grocery shopping, but i asked to go to tokyo no beauty on a whim. cory agreed to drive us there, and there i got an oil cleanser, vitamin c essence, and hair mask that were all over tiktok 😋 the impulse shop gave me a dopamine hit and cory commented on how i became so much more energetic after the stop at the cosmetics store lol
we also happened to walk by a complex which was supposed to have a hidden coffee shop. we tried looking for a secret entrance but could not find it. it was like a side quest that hadn't been unlocked! i found amusement in being unable to locate a secret coffee shop, because if it was a secret coffee shop, it should stay a secret. at least from me, at this time.
we headed to the asian grocery store for some kimchi, soba noodle dip, and some kitchen supplies. i was frustrated and overwhelmed as usual because it was so crowded and i could not find furikake. i ALWAYS get overwhelmed at asian grocery stores. it gets very crowded and the shelves are often too close together. after being unable to find furikake and fuji salad dressing, i gave up, we paid, and left.
after expressing my frustration with asian grocery stores, cory calmed me down by holding my hand and suggesting that we check out the korean bakery near where we parked. they sell pastry that i really like, something they call mammoth bread. we ended up getting matcha donuts instead of that, and then we drove to the grocery store where we did most of our shopping.
the grocery store was as normal as it could be, which is perfect. normal is good, familiar, comforting. no surprises. we got what we needed for dinner (beef stew). cory wanted milk tea after shopping, but i didn't, so he went to order milk tea while i walked around the pharamacy and bought drugstore makeup. i accidentally spent more on that than actual groceries 😐
apparently cory's bestfriend was waving at us somewhere sometime during the day. we did not see him, and cory thought it was funny. his friend said "i didn't say hi because i didn't want to interrupt your date" to which cory replied, "dude we were just grocery shopping!"
we got home, put the groceries away, and then we ate our donuts. it was cory's turn to cook so he started making beef stew, so i went into the bedroom to watch a korean drama (celebrity) while waiting. soon after that, it was dinner time, then i cleaned the kitchen, and then i binged the kdrama until 2 am 🤭
something about yesterday was perfect. it wasn't perfect, but it was. it probably wasnt the same for cory because i know he would rather stay home or hang out with his friends. i just like slow days with the right amount of adventure and disappointments and surprises. there was no rush, and we could afford to stop and be curious about a hidden coffee shop or a bakery. we safely returned home, stocked up the fridge, had a comfortable bed waiting for me. it's a reminder of a simple and safe privileged life that i will always be grateful for.
i could go on and on. as simple as my life may be, simple is extravagant these days, and life is never guaranteed. i hold onto these things right now while i am still alive 💖
