What is the no makeup skincare routine of Alicia Keys?
So, after much erosion of time and memory, these are the parts I kept (with equivalent products):
Avene Eau Thermale Thermal Spring Water spray (keep in fridge, spray) (highly highly recommend. transforming. if nothing else this product changed me. I genuinely Do Not Understand Why but I try not to question it.)
Jade roller (keep in fridge) and add Vitamin C serum with caffeine (couple drops over roller, roll over face) -> the oil I get? but personally I think the jade roller thing is bullshit. Nevertheless, what it *makes* me do is a ritualistic ~paying attention~ to all parts of my face when otherwise I would just blob, swipe, go. And so it works because the roller means I moisturise every part equally instead of just putting a blob of oil on a cheekbone and walking away with a shiny nose and dry spots on the cheeks
Moisturiser base - Alicia's makeup artist's recommended one (a suncream) stopped being made a few years ago, the equivalent I found which gives same results (but not suncream) is Moo Goo's Natural Fast Hydrating Lotion, which has the benefit of also being a full body moisturiser so, less product on shelf = always a win
Add a tiny bit of primer or foundation to the moisturiser base, mix on hand before spreading on face. Again, Alicia's primer not available any more, the equivalents I found is 1) La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo, or 2) my current preferred-> Primp and Prime from The Organic Skin Company
Exfoliate lips once a week, brown sugar
Some mask thing once a week (I used to bother, no more, vague memories of it, no material difference)
A La Roche-Posay lip balm which I tried to google and found it was just discontinued? SOB (literally the only lip balm I have found in my entire life that delivers lastingly non-dry lips. I have this in bulk in my wardrobe. My lips crack to the bleeding. I've had friends say, "oh, but dry bleeding lips are just your aesthetic?" This stopped once I found this product. I can actually wear lipstick if I want without the colour leaching into the cracks like those cracked desert terrain images)
Do peripheral details because they will stand out:
-Do eyebrows once a week, tidy stray hairs
-Do hairline once a week (depends on ethnicity/hairline, mine does filter down into the face-space)
-Use eyelash curler
and lastly, the "no makeup" bit I did have to laugh at and I don't do:
Actually *wear* makeup for the red carpet, comprising tinted primer, mascara, tiny bit of eyeliner, light eyebrow pencil shaping, transculent shiny stuff rubbed on cheekbones, and a very carefully selected concealer for the under eye bags and general real world pigmentation which exists on all skin
The only thing I've added based on other reading, which I also attribute to the aggregate contributing of fixing my previous 25 years plus of weekly skin problems and pimples:
Shave my face once a week using the Avene spray as my shaving 'liquid'. Chin, cheeks, moustache, around eyebrows, monobrow, hairline, all of it. Unspeakably good results. Tiny small facial razor. Razor goes over each piece of skin exactly once, slowly, and use a very very sharp razor so there is no repeated strokes.
(The Avene spray, jade roller + serum, and the strategy of adding teh primer/foundation to the moisturiser to thin it out/improve spread were the true original items IIRC; the rest have adapted over time.)
#proviso: my skin is deeply olive.sallow.sensitive.dry#i have hypermobility which also does strange things to skin elasticity and reactiveness#and in descending order of origin: mediterranean + middle eastern/eastern european (borders keep moving) + splash of german scottish englis#in australia the land of sunburns

Hi guys,
We all know I love luxury beauty but there are some drugstore brands out there that are killing the game! Maybelline has been one of my favourite drugstore brands for (literally) years now. I think I started wearing their makeup when I was 16/17 and I’m now 30! So today I thought I would share with you my 3 favourite face base products from the brand.
First off we are starting with my favourite product that is a combo of skincare and makeup, it's the Maybelline Super Stay up to 24H Skin Tint Foundation + Vitamin C, £12.99. If you like a natural, glowy looking foundation rather than a full coverage formula then this is your new best friend. Made with Vitamin C to brighten and treat your skin while you're wearing it , this foundation gives you a natural, weightless finish. I love wearing this tint on days when my skin doesn't need a lot of coverage and this formula is buildable so some days you can wear it natural and other days build up for a medium finish.
Next up we have the glow in a bottle, it's the Maybelline Instant Anti Age Perfector 4-In-1 Glow Primer, Concealer, Highlighter, £12.99. This is Maybelline's multi-use product, not only does it add glow to your complexion but it can be used as a primes, conceals, highlights, and evens skin tone. I love using when alternatively to my Hollywood Flawless Filter, sometimes I'll use under my eyes before foundation to brighten or all over my face to add coverage / prime. I haven't used it as a foundation yet but I've seen some people using it as their foundation which if you had dry skin I think could wear really well.
Lastly, if a glowy face base isn't your thing or you want more of a fuller coverage I think you'll prefer the Maybelline Superstay 30hr Foundation with Hyaluronic Acid 30ml, £10.99. Unlike the previous 2 products this foundation is our matte option for those oily combo people out there. Personally I love this formula because yes it is a full coverage, matte finish but it's made with hyaluronic acid so it's protecting your skin while being worn. Though I love a lot of matte formulas I personally use this one the most because it is also transfer-resistant, water-resistant and sweat-resistant so if you have a problem with your makeup moving, your safe!
So there we go, you don't need to spend lot's of money to get great products and if you're shopping for drugstore makeup I really recommend checking out Maybelline because their newer products are amazing!!! As always all products mentioned are linked above.
Lot's of love,
Bella x x

on: skin care
finding a good skin care regime that works for your skin type is always a hard task. especially if you don’t know where to start, etc. while i only started my skin care journey last summer (2022), i do want to share one or two things with y’all.
never fall asleep with your makeup on: i know it’s tempting and i know it happens to me, too, but if you can, go wash that face! your face will thank you for it
if you have trouble finding your skin type, go for products advertised to sensitive skin: it won’t harm you, it’s without any irritating scents/chemicals and is always a better option than not doing anything ;)
what you’ll def need: (1) cleanser (2) toner (3) moisturizer (4) sunscreen
you don’t need to double cleanse, but it’s still important to cleanse: some people don’t do it in the morning bc the body worked all night to produce important oils for your skin barrier, i for example do wash my face bc it makes me feel less greasy - def cleanse your face in the PM tho to get rid of all the dirt/bacteria/pollution/etc
korean skin care routines tell you to layer your toner(s), but you don’t have to: before i only used my toner once, on a cotton pad, to see if my makeup is fully removed, now i later it 6x. i do see improvements in my skin (it’s more glowy and feels tighter) but you def don’t have to!
serums are always optional: you don’t need them and you don’t have to worry about them. vitamin c is great for if you have dark spots/acne scars/general scars/etc. but you don’t have to use it! i know, a lot of people recommend them but maybe start slowly and then work yourself up
personally, i use a hybrid sunscreen (moisturizer + spf) bc i don’t like the heavy feeling of both layers, but you can def do both separately!
skin care regimes usually seem like hour long procedures and while they do take some time in the AM and PM, you shouldn’t be in the bathroom for 2h. let your layers sit for some time (min 30s to 1min) before going onto the next step to make sure that your skin was able to process some of what you put into it
tip: if you want to wear makeup on the day, do your skincare at least 30min before you put on primer or anything else. this way, your skin is nicely moisturized and happy and can take your primer/foundation/concealer/etc better!

What is your skincare routine?
hi lovely, im so giddy at the fact that you asked this ! :,)
first let me tell you my skin concerns as of lately; closed comedones ( this has been for more then a year now, & im doing everything i can to get rid of them it’s caused scarring because i pick my face unfortunately :/ ) i also have very dry skin, some discoloration due to veins etc.
but the routine;
1. i wash with cerave salicylic acid face wash (to help with the close comedones but i can’t rly tell the difference takes time tho i’m just impatient)
2. then i use thayers hydrating coconut toner
3. i use like four different serums, all applied in this particular order. good molecules discoloration serum, lactic acid, salicylic acid, and mandelic acid— all by the ordinary
4. cetaphil dry to normal moisturizer
5. guasha— 10x on either side of jaw, 30x in total on cheek bones (very extreme ik, but they’re all different techniques)
6. facial spray 3x, mario badescu (don’t get this, i use it cause i have it but it literally does nothing for my skin lmao) & i use a face globe from tarte to help mix everything together once more.
7. more moisturizer, bc i have dry skin and used three different acids. inkey list moisturizer vitamin b,c, & d with inkey list hyaluronic acid serum ( for hydration best if used on wet skin)
8. eye cream, i have one by burt’s bees and from the brand strum that i’ve been alternating b/w
9. and sometimes i’ll use a hydrating primer on top of everything to give my skin extra glow!
ik this is a bit much compared to a simple routine, but it’s what i’ve been doing <3

hi!! i hope this isnt invasive but i saw your post and now im so curious, whats your skincare, hair care, and makeup routine??
omg babe i love u for asking this question<3333
skin care
If I'm wearing makeup then I'll double cleanse! I use the elf holy hydration cleansing blam and then the Cetaphil cleanser for oily skin (if not wearing makeup then only the Cetaphil cleanser)
i use rose water as my toner as all the other toners ive used give my skin a burning sensation which is bad
after that i use a salicylic acid serum at night and in the mornings i use vitamin c serum with a niacinamide sunscreen! I used to use a niacinamide serum but my fungal acne on my forehead got a little bad cause of summer so i switched to salicylic again
then i use moisturizer it's the water based one from Neutrogena it has fragrance tho so im wary while recommending it but i don't have any complaints until now and it makes my skin so plump and fresh!
lastly i use Vaseline on my lips and castor oil on my lashes
Hair care
I oil my hair a night before washing and i wash my hair twice a week i use coconut oil cause i genuinely can't stand the smell of other oils I've tried it gives me a headache 😭😭 but I'm thinking of using grapeseed oil once I'm done with this bottle
i sometimes use a rice water based hair mask if my hair feels very dry
I use the loreal professionel absolute repair hair shampoo and hair mask with protein and gold quinoa, my hair dresser recommended it to me and its working wonders!! Once in a month i use the dandruff treatment I've
After my hair is dried i use a hair strengthening serum from bare anatomy
Before sleeping i just comb my hair and tie it in a loose braid
makeup
okayyy so i start with a silicon based pore filling primer with a matte finish
then i use the maybelline age rewind concealer under my eyes and a little on my cheeks and all and then i let it rest on my face for 2 ish mins and then i blend it with a damp beauty blender
then if i want to wear blush I'll use that and then spray the nyx matte setting spray
then i do my eyes which is just eyeliner, khol and mascara.
Then i use the nyx setting powder and then i almost always either use the wet and wild brown lip liner and elf lip gloss in the shade praline or this berry coloured lip liner I've and the puff lipstick from nyx in the shade moody
if I've to do an eyeshadow look then i just do a smokey eye of some type or like dual coloured basic eye looks like the ones which require the least possible effort 🤭
ok this post is way to long now BUT u asked so <333

Hi guys,
It's been a while since I've chatted about primers on here and recently i find myself reaching for the same brand over and over so today we're gonna chat about them. E.L.F cosmetics has been a viral brand for a long time now whether it's the high end brands they are making dupes of or their viral prime and setting products. Though I don't use a lot of products from the brand I really love using their primers underneath my makeup. So that being said today we're chatting about 3 of my favourites.
First off let's chat about the primer I never meant to actually get, the e.l.f. Hydrating Face Primer 14ml , £9.00. Little story time, I once ordered from Beauty Bay and in my order was the items I picked and then randomly it had this primer and a Beauty Bay blush in my box. Now I never saw a message about gift with purchase etc so I don't know how it happened but I'm glad it did! If you prefer a more hydrating base then this your new BFF, this primer is made with vitamins A, C and E, this hydrating primer helps to create the smoothest canvas for your makeup, while boosting hydration levels. I adore this primer because it makes my makeup glide on effortlessly and lasts all day.
Now let's move on to my favourite primer probably ever, the e.l.f. Power Grip Primer, £10.00. This primer has a sticky base which grips your makeup and makes it last like nobody's business. It is amazing and is a perfect dupe of the MILK Hydra Grip primer but 1/3 of the price. Last year E.L.F took an amazing primer and made it even more perfect by bringing out the e.l.f. Power Grip Primer + Niacinamide 24ml, £10.00. This version of the primer still has all the sticky and goodness of the original primer but this formula is also infused with skincare ingredients. Though I love both versions, my skin feels even more amazing when I wear the newer version.
So there you have it, you don't need to break the bank to get your hands on good primers. I love E.L.F products and seem to be adding more of their products to my makeup collection. As always all products mentioned are linked above.
Lot's of love,
Bella x x

In today’s fast-paced world, women are balancing busy schedules, careers, families, and social lives, leaving little time for extensive beauty routines. But just because you’re always on the move doesn’t mean you have to compromise on looking and feeling your best. With the right beauty hacks, you can streamline your skincare, makeup, and product choices to fit perfectly into a hectic lifestyle.

4. Hair and Body Oil
5. Tinted Moisturizer with Skincare Benefits
6. Dry Shampoo with Added Volume
1. Double Cleanse
2. Overnight Masks
3. Silk Pillowcase
4. Nighttime Haircare
Conclusion: Beauty in Minutes
1. Simplify Your Routine with a Cleanser and Moisturizer Combo
If you’re pressed for time, a gentle cleanser that doubles as a moisturizer is a game-changer. Look for creamy cleansers that hydrate while they cleanse, so your skin stays soft and moisturized even if you skip a few extra steps. This will save time without compromising on hydration or cleanliness.
2. Use Micellar Water for Fast Cleansing
Micellar water is a quick and easy way to cleanse your face without needing to rinse. It’s perfect for women who need a fast refresh during the day, or for removing makeup at night. Simply soak a cotton pad with micellar water and swipe it over your face for a thorough cleanse.
3. Prioritize SPF
No matter how busy you are, never skip sunscreen. A broad-spectrum SPF 30+ is essential for protecting your skin from UV damage, which accelerates aging and can lead to hyperpigmentation. For a time-saving solution, opt for a moisturizer with SPF, so you can hydrate and protect your skin in one step.
4. Opt for a Serum with Multiple Benefits
Serums are lightweight, absorb quickly, and pack a powerful punch of nutrients. Choose a multitasking serum that addresses several skin concerns—like hydration, anti-aging, and brightening. Ingredients like vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, and niacinamide work together to brighten skin, boost moisture, and even out skin tone.
5. Use Sheet Masks for a Quick Boost
Sheet masks are a fast and effective way to hydrate, brighten, or soothe your skin, especially when you’re in a rush. Apply a sheet mask while you’re having breakfast or catching up on emails. In just 10-15 minutes, you’ll have glowing, refreshed skin with minimal effort.
6. Eye Cream in the Morning
Brighten your eyes and reduce puffiness with a quick application of eye cream in the morning. Look for products with caffeine or vitamin C serum to help reduce dark circles and wake up tired eyes.
Time-Saving Makeup Hacks for Women On-the-Go
1. BB or CC Cream for Quick Coverage
Instead of applying multiple layers of foundation, concealer, and primer, opt for a BB cream or CC cream. These products combine coverage, SPF, hydration, and even skin tone all in one step. They’re perfect for women who want light to medium coverage and a natural finish without spending too much time on makeup.
2. Use a Cream Blush
Cream blushes are easy to blend with your fingers and can double as a lip tint. This two-in-one hack saves time, giving your face a quick flush of color without needing a brush. Plus, cream blushes offer a natural, dewy finish, perfect for a fresh, healthy glow.
3. Master the One-Minute Eye Look
When you don’t have time for a full eyeshadow application, opt for a single neutral shade that can be swept over the lids for a quick wash of color. Champagne, bronze, or light brown tones work well on all skin tones and can give your eyes a polished look with minimal effort. Finish with a swipe of mascara for instant definition.
4. Skip the Liquid Eyeliner
For an easy eye look, skip the time-consuming liquid eyeliner and go for a soft, smoky line with an eyeliner pencil or eyeshadow. Smudge the product along your upper lash line for a softer, more forgiving look that’s easier to correct if you make a mistake.
5. Focus on Brows
Well-groomed brows can instantly frame your face, even when you’re wearing minimal makeup. Keep a tinted brow gel on hand to quickly fill in sparse areas and shape your brows in seconds. The gel formula will also keep your brows in place throughout the day.
6. Invest in a Long-Lasting Lip Product
To save time on touch-ups, choose a long-wearing lip product that stays put throughout the day. Liquid lipsticks, lip stains, or tinted lip balms provide color that lasts without needing constant reapplication. For a quick boost of hydration and color, go for a tinted lip balm that doubles as a nourishing lip treatment.
Multi-Purpose Beauty Products for Women On-the-Go
Multitasking beauty products are a lifesaver for busy women. These versatile items reduce the number of products in your routine, helping you streamline your beauty regimen without sacrificing results.
1. All-in-One Moisturizer with SPF
An all-in-one moisturizer that includes SPF is a must-have for women on the go. Not only does it save time, but it also ensures your skin stays hydrated and protected from harmful UV rays. Opt for one with added antioxidants like vitamin E to combat free radical damage and boost skin radiance.
2. Lip and Cheek Tint
A product that doubles as both a blush and a lip color can save you precious time in the morning. A lip and cheek tint is perfect for adding a pop of color to both your lips and cheeks, giving you a coordinated look with just one product.
3. Multipurpose Concealer
Find a concealer that can work for more than just covering blemishes. A multipurpose concealer can also act as a foundation when applied in a thin layer across the face. Choose a creamy formula that blends easily into the skin for a flawless, natural finish.
4. Hair and Body Oil
A lightweight oil that works for both your hair and body is a great addition to your routine. Look for nourishing oils like argan oil or jojoba oil, which can tame frizz, add shine to your hair, and moisturize your skin. This way, you can tackle multiple beauty concerns with just one product.
5. Tinted Moisturizer with Skincare Benefits
A tinted moisturizer that combines coverage with skincare benefits like SPF, antioxidants, and hydration is perfect for busy women. This product eliminates the need for foundation, sunscreen, and a moisturizer in your routine, saving you time while giving your skin a healthy, radiant look.
6. Dry Shampoo with Added Volume
Dry shampoo is a time-saving hero for women who don’t have time to wash their hair every day. Opt for a dry shampoo that also adds volume to your roots, giving you a refreshed, voluminous look in seconds. This product is perfect for reviving second-day hair, especially when you’re in a rush.
Nighttime Beauty Routine for Busy Women
ven though you’re busy, your nighttime routine is essential for keeping your skin and hair healthy. Here’s how to maximize your nighttime beauty routine, even with limited time.
1. Double Cleanse
After a long day, double cleansing ensures all makeup, dirt, and pollutants are removed from your skin. Start with an oil-based cleanser to break down makeup, followed by a water-based cleanser to cleanse the skin deeply.
2. Overnight Masks
If you don’t have time for a long skincare routine, opt for an overnight mask that works while you sleep. Look for masks that focus on hydration, anti-aging, or brightening to wake up with refreshed, glowing skin.
3. Silk Pillowcase
Invest in a silk pillowcase to help reduce hair breakage and minimize wrinkles. Silk is gentler on the skin and hair, preventing frizz and creases during sleep. It’s a small change with significant benefits for both skin and hair.
4. Nighttime Haircare
If you don’t have time to style your hair in the morning, prepare it the night before. Braid damp hair for heatless waves, or apply a leave-in conditioner or hair oil to nourish your strands while you sleep. This will make morning styling faster and easier.

Fall In to Radiance: Neora's Ultimate Guide to Autumn Beauty and Skin Care
The heat of summer is gone, but winter winds haven’t arrived yet. Neora knows just how to handle in-between beauty needs.
Ah, fall — that curious in-between season where your skin (and, let's face it, your entire being) seems caught in a bit of an identity crisis. Gone are the days of slathering on sunscreen for beach outings, but we're not quite at the point of battling harsh winter winds and the perpetual indoor heating that turns our skin into a desert. So, what's a beauty enthusiast to do?
You might find yourself standing in front of your bathroom mirror, holding your summer gel moisturizer in one hand and your heavy-duty winter cream in the other, thinking, "What on earth should I be using right now?" It's like trying to decide whether to wear a sweater or a T-shirt when the weather can't make up its mind. Welcome to the autumn skin care conundrum. Lucky for you, Neora is here to help.
Neora’s Autumnal Solutions
Here's the thing — fall skin care isn't just about solving a seasonal puzzle. It's about preparing your skin for the harsher months ahead while repairing any damage from those glorious (but perhaps a tad too sunny) summer days. Think of it as a reset button for your skin, a chance to recalibrate and fortify before winter comes knocking.
So, how do we navigate this autumnal beauty landscape? How do we transition our skin care, body care, and wellness routines to embrace the fall season and gently usher ourselves toward winter? That's where Neora comes in. With its innovative products and expert insights, combined with advice from top dermatologists, we're about to embark on a journey through the very best of fall beauty and wellness.
Neora’s Elizabeth Hisey emphasizes, "We should wear SPF all year round to protect from the aging rays of the sun, which are damaging in all seasons. Our InvisiBloc is a perfect primer to wear under makeup, and is blurring to perfect your skin." This aligns with advice from the American Academy of Dermatology, which advises, “Due to the drop in temperature and lack of humidity, our skin can have a difficult time retaining moisture, leading to itchy, dry skin and cracked lips … When the weather gets colder, the humidity drops outside and inside our homes. Turning up the furnace or lighting the fireplace creates dry heat and takes moisture out of the air, causing your skin to become dry and irritated.”
This makes using a heavier moisturizing cream like Neora’s a great defense.
Hisey also recommends, "Exfoliation, both chemically (salicylic acid) and texturized, is important. Our Complexion Treatment Pads and IllumaBoost help to remove dead skin, revealing better texture, while the vitamin C helps brighten and fade damage."
Skin Care During Seasonal Transitions
Let's talk about the benefits of focusing on skin care during this transitional time. It's not just about looking good (though who doesn't want that autumn glow?). It's about feeling good in your skin, literally. Properly cared-for skin is more resilient, more comfortable, and better equipped to handle whatever the changing weather throws at it. Plus, there's something incredibly soothing about the ritual of skin care as the world outside gets a bit more hectic with back-to-school and holiday preparations looming on the horizon.
But autumn care goes beyond just your face. It's a time to consider your whole body and overall wellness as we gracefully pirouette into winter. How do we nurture ourselves holistically during this season of change? It's about finding that perfect balance — like a well-orchestrated fall symphony — where we're caring for our skin, nourishing our bodies, and soothing our minds.
Hisey offers a Neora solution: "Definitely keep skin hydrated, as that helps nourish and keep the effects going longer. Our Firm [Body Contour Cream] is a great addition."
As the leaves begin their spectacular color show, it's our cue to adapt and evolve our self-care routines. We're not just preparing our wardrobes for cooler days; we're preparing our entire selves. It's about embracing the cozy, indulgent aspects of fall while still maintaining the vibrant energy we cultivated during summer.
Just as we adjust our skin care to meet the changing needs of our skin in fall, we're also called to adjust our perspective on life and wellness. Neora’s Hisey reminds us, "A beach body is made all year round," and this wisdom extends beyond just physical appearance. It speaks to the continuous nurturing of our whole selves — body, mind, and spirit.
Heavier and More Nourishing
As we embrace heavier moisturizers and more nourishing skin care routines, we're also encouraged to delve deeper into self-care practices that nourish our souls. The exfoliation we do for our skin — removing dead cells to reveal fresh, glowing skin beneath — can be a metaphor for shedding outdated beliefs or habits that no longer serve us, revealing our authentic selves.
The transition to fall skin care, with its focus on repair and protection, mirrors the internal work we might do during this season of life. It's a time to repair any damage from our "summer" — our younger years — and protect ourselves as we move forward. This could mean investing in our mental health, nurturing important relationships, or pursuing passions we may have set aside.
Just as we don't abandon sun protection in fall, reminding ourselves that UV rays are "damaging in all seasons," as Hisey points out, we shouldn't abandon our dreams or personal growth as we age. Instead, we can view this season as an opportunity to refine our approach, much like we refine our skin care routines.

Shield Your Skin: How to Pick the Best Sunscreen for Men and Women
Introduction:
Protecting your skin from harmful UV rays is essential for maintaining healthy, radiant skin. Sunscreen isn’t just a summertime staple; it’s a year-round necessity that helps prevent premature aging, sunburn, and skin cancer. However, choosing the right sunscreen can be tricky, especially when you want to find the best one for both men and women.
Why Sunscreen Matters for Everyone
Protects Against UV Damage: Sunscreen shields your skin from both UVA and UVB rays, which can cause sunburn, premature aging, and increase the risk of skin cancer.
Prevents Premature Aging: Regular sunscreen use helps prevent fine lines, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation caused by sun exposure.
Reduces Risk of Sunburn: Sunscreens with broad-spectrum protection help prevent painful and damaging sunburns.
Essential for All Skin Types: Whether you have oily, dry, combination, or sensitive skin, using sunscreen daily protects your skin’s health.
How to Choose the Best Sunscreen for Men’s and Women’s Faces:
When selecting a good sunscreen for face, there are several important factors to consider to ensure you’re getting the right protection for your skin type and lifestyle. Look for sunscreens labeled as “broad-spectrum.” These formulas protect against both UVA rays (which contribute to aging) and UVB rays (which cause sunburn). For daily use, an SPF of at least 30 is recommended for adequate protection. For outdoor activities or prolonged sun exposure, a higher SPF, such as SPF 50, is ideal.
Consider Your Skin Type
Oily Skin: Men and women with oily or acne-prone skin should opt for lightweight, non-comedogenic formulas that won’t clog pores. Gel-based sunscreens are a good choice for oily skin types.
Dry Skin: If you have dry skin, look for sunscreens that offer moisturizing benefits. Cream-based sunscreens with hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid are great for keeping your skin nourished.
Sensitive Skin: For sensitive skin, choose mineral-based sunscreens that contain zinc oxide or titanium dioxide. These ingredients are less likely to irritate and provide excellent protection.
Gender-Specific Needs
For Men: Men typically have thicker skin and larger pores, so choosing a sunscreen for men’s oily skin that is lightweight and easy to apply is essential. Men with oily skin should look for mattifying sunscreens to keep the face shine-free throughout the day.
For Women: Women may prefer sunscreens that blend well with makeup and offer hydrating or anti-aging properties. Look for formulas that act as a primer or have additional skincare benefits like brightening or anti-wrinkle properties and choose the best sunscreen for womens face.

Note
What do you use on your face?
Skincare or makeup? 😂
Skincare in the morning Neutrogena hydro boost cleanser, facetheory pore serum and a moisturiser from Purito with oat (I have very dry skin naturally) and SPF 50 but I change it quite often. Currently using altruist and bondi sands.
PM beauty bay oats cleanser, neutrogena hydro boost, vitamin c (from Goodal green tangerine), Cerave retinol and night moisturiser varies a loooot.
I do a chemical peel every 2 weeks, la roche posay cicaplast if my skin is dry and embryolisse under makeup when I wear a full face of makeup.
For makeup I use lots of products depending on the day but my go to are elf primers, the maybelline concealers, milani blushes and contour & highlighters change a lot.
For lips I use the elf lip oils and I adoooore them.
