Natural bridge, this image was taken in Springbrook National Park in Natural Bridge section, this was shot a while ago when a log was jammed in the falls, what we are seeing here is water penetrating basalt rock after hundreds of years of pressure giving way to water flowing through, this area is rich in vulnerable flora and fauna, particularly frog habitat protecting several endangered species, the cave pictured also contains glow worm communities and can be viewed at night within the cave, swimming is also prohibited here and is monitored by QPWS.
