more ideas for stalled fundraising campaigns especially those that started stagnating once they got close to the goal amount:
create a new post updating the audience on where the campaign is now rather than adding updates to the original post (long threads are unfortunately counterproductive)
emphasize how close “we’ve” gotten to the goal amount in a positive and encouraging way, listing the progress in both USD and other currency if relevant near the top of the post below the headline
remember to use a headline - try using appreciative/thankful language there. it’s the first thing a reader sees so the language that’s used in that spot is your first chance to motivate them to read the rest of the post and click on the link.
try using visual elements sparingly and strategically: “visual clutter” (i.e. too many images, font colors, symbols, paragraphs, and @-mentions in one post) can easily encourage users to scroll past. I recommend reserving font color changes especially for, say, a hyperlinked CTA (“call-to-action”) phrase like “Help us reach the milestone!”
if you’re going to use multicolored text I recommend staying away from red in light of A) how frequently it has been used for these posts in a short amt of time, and B) its association with anxiety. Also note that you want colors that emphasize the text in a way that creates high contrast against the background. As such green might not be the best option either - try purple, bolded green, or bolded blue text.
@transmutationisms and @feluka since you’ve recently posted about wanting help with fundraising strategies. inshallah something here works!
#context: I used to advertise for a living and there are techniques that work regardless of context#but we can’t know if they will work in this specific context until people try them out#also rbs off because these are hypotheses and because this is a fandom/personal blog that shouldn’t be looked at as anything else

Understanding Slideshow Ads
Slideshow ads are a unique blend of images and videos, offering the dynamic appeal of video content without the extensive production efforts typically associated with video creation. Essentially, slideshow ads are created by stitching together a series of still images, often with accompanying text, transitions, and sound. This format is particularly effective for telling a story, showcasing a product range, or highlighting different features of a service.
Benefits of Slideshow Ads
1. Cost-Effective Production
High-quality video content production can be costly and time-consuming. Slideshow ads provide a cost-effective alternative, as they utilize existing image assets and require minimal video editing skills. This makes them accessible for businesses of all sizes, especially those with limited marketing budgets.
2. Dynamic Visual Appeal
While static images can be compelling, the movement created by slideshows adds a dynamic element that can capture and retain audience attention more effectively. The transitions and animations can bring static images to life, making the ad more engaging.
3. Versatility
Slideshow ads are versatile and can be used across various platforms, including social media, Google Ads, and display networks. They can be tailored to fit different formats and specifications, making them a flexible option for diverse marketing campaigns.
4. Improved Engagement
The dynamic nature of slideshow ads tends to result in higher engagement rates compared to static ads. The combination of movement, text, and sound can create a more immersive experience, encouraging users to interact with the ad.
Creating Effective Slideshow Ads
1. High-Quality Images
The foundation of a great slideshow ad is high-quality images. Ensure that the images used are clear, well-composed, and relevant to the message you want to convey. Using professional photography or high-resolution stock images can make a significant difference.
2. Compelling Storytelling
Employ the slideshow style to narrate an engaging tale.Whether it's the journey of your product from creation to market, a step-by-step guide, or a showcase of different product features, ensure that each slide contributes to a cohesive narrative.
3. Engaging Text and CTA
Accompany your images with engaging text that complements the visuals. Keep the text concise and impactful. A strong call-to-action (CTA) is essential to guide viewers on the next steps, whether it’s visiting your website, making a purchase, or signing up for a newsletter.
4. Seamless Transitions
Slide transitions ought to be seamless and aesthetically pleasant. Avoid overly flashy or distracting transitions; instead, opt for subtle effects that enhance the storytelling aspect of your ad.
5. Incorporate Sound
Adding sound to your slideshow can significantly enhance its appeal. Background music or voiceovers can add an extra layer of engagement. Ensure that the sound complements the visuals and does not overwhelm the viewer.
Integration with PPC Campaigns
Incorporating slideshow ads into your PPC campaigns can amplify their effectiveness. Here’s how:
1. Targeted Audience
Using PPC, you can target specific demographics, interests, and behaviors. Slideshow ads, with their engaging format, can capture the attention of these targeted audiences more effectively.
2. A/B Testing
PPC platforms often provide tools for A/B testing. You can create multiple versions of your slideshow ads with different images, text, or CTAs to determine which combination performs best.
3. Enhanced Analytics
PPC platforms offer detailed analytics that can help you measure the performance of your slideshow ads. Metrics such as click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and engagement levels can provide insights into what’s working and what needs adjustment.
Case Study: Success with Slideshow Ads
Consider a mid-sized e-commerce company that integrated slideshow ads into their PPC strategy. By creating a series of ads showcasing their seasonal product range with engaging transitions and background music, they were able to capture the festive spirit effectively. The slideshow ads were targeted at specific demographics interested in holiday shopping, resulting in a significant increase in engagement and conversions. The company saw a 30% higher click-through rate compared to their static image ads and a 20% increase in overall sales during the campaign period.
Conclusion
Slideshow ads represent a powerful tool in the arsenal of digital marketers. Design a User-Friendly Website:
Essential Principles You Need to Know
A user-friendly website is crucial for engaging visitors and retaining their interest. Prioritizing user experience (UX) in your website design not only improves navigation but also boosts conversion rates and enhances your brand’s credibility. This post will explore foundational principles for creating a user-centered design, including responsive website features and effective website layout strategies. Implementing these best practices will ensure that your website attracts visitors, encourages exploration, and drives action.
Creating a Seamless Online Experience: Key Principles for Designing UX design plays a pivotal role in effective web development. Whether you are building a new site or revamping an old one, a user-friendly interface is essential for retaining visitors, enhancing engagement, and increasing conversions. Below, we outline critical principles for creating a website that is intuitive, clean, and easy to navigate.
The Cornerstones of a User-Friendly Website
Prioritize Simplicity and Clarity Your website’s primary goal is to convey information quickly and effectively. A cluttered website layout can overwhelm visitors and detract from their experience. Focus on a minimalist approach with clear navigation menus and easily recognizable call-to-action (CTA) buttons.
Optimize for Mobile Responsiveness In an era where mobile browsing is prevalent, a responsive website design is essential. Ensure that your site functions seamlessly across all devices, with fast load times and a mobile-friendly layout. This optimization enhances both user experience and site speed.
Focus on Intuitive Navigation Visitors should be able to find what they’re looking for without confusion. Group similar content together, use logical categories, and incorporate a search bar. Avoid hidden menus or hard-to-find links that disrupt the user’s flow.
Maintain Consistent Design Elements Consistency in font styles, colors, and layout fosters familiarity and trust. Choose a color scheme that reflects your brand identity and apply it across all pages. Consistent design elements aid in easier site navigation and improve overall user experience.
Enhance Site Speed and Performance A fast-loading website is crucial for user satisfaction and search engine ranking. Optimize images, enable browser caching, and minimize JavaScript to improve site speed. A slow website frustrates visitors and leads to higher bounce rates.
Employ Visual Hierarchy Users scan web pages in a predictable manner. Use larger fonts for headings, bold colors for CTAs, and ample white space to highlight important elements. A well-structured website layout guides users to your content naturally.
Advanced Tips for Improving User Interaction
Include Engaging Visuals and Multimedia Balance text with images, infographics, or videos to create a visually appealing experience. High-quality visuals attract attention and can help clarify complex information. However, avoid overloading your pages with media that might slow down site speed.
Use Accessibility Best Practices A truly user-friendly website is inclusive of all users, including those with disabilities. Utilize alt text for images, ensure your site is navigable via keyboard, and choose contrasting color schemes to improve readability. Accessibility is key to a comprehensive UX design.
Implement Clear Call-to-Actions (CTAs) Guide users towards the actions you want them to take by using effective CTAs. Whether it’s making a purchase, signing up for a newsletter, or scheduling a consultation, place these prompts where they are visible and ensure they stand out.

How Does Design and Layout Impact Sales in Amazon Store Setup in Amazon App Marketing?
In the highly competitive realm of Amazon App Marketing, the design and layout of your Amazon Store can be the determining factors in driving sales. While it might be tempting to focus solely on product listings and pricing strategies, the visual and structural aspects of your Amazon Store play a critical role in attracting customers and converting clicks into purchases. This blog explores how thoughtful design and strategic layout can significantly impact sales in Amazon Store Setup and elevate your Amazon Marketing efforts.
First Impressions Matter
The design of your Amazon Store is the first thing customers notice when they land on your page. A well-designed store creates a positive first impression, which can build trust and encourage visitors to explore further. On the other hand, a cluttered or poorly designed store can deter potential customers, leading them to leave without making a purchase.
To create a strong first impression, ensure that your store’s design aligns with your brand identity. Use consistent colors, fonts, and imagery that reflect your brand’s personality. This not only makes your store visually appealing but also helps in establishing brand recognition. A cohesive design can make your store stand out in the crowded Amazon marketplace, making it more memorable for customers.
User-Friendly Navigation
A user-friendly layout is essential for guiding customers through your store and helping them find what they’re looking for quickly and easily. The easier it is for customers to navigate your store, the more likely they are to make a purchase.
Start by organizing your products into clear, logical categories. For example, if you sell electronics, you might have categories for smartphones, laptops, and accessories. This organization allows customers to browse by category and find specific products without unnecessary clicks.
Incorporating a search bar is also a good practice, especially for stores with a large inventory. A search bar enables customers to find products directly by entering keywords, saving them time and enhancing their shopping experience.
Visual Hierarchy and Call-to-Action (CTA)
Visual hierarchy refers to the arrangement of elements on your store page that guides the customer’s eye from one point to another. A well-designed visual hierarchy ensures that the most important information, such as product features, pricing, and CTAs, stands out.
For example, use larger fonts and bold colors for CTAs like “Add to Cart” or “Buy Now.” These buttons should be easily visible and strategically placed to encourage immediate action. Additionally, highlighting special offers or discounts near these CTAs can further entice customers to complete their purchase.
Images and videos are powerful tools in creating a visual hierarchy. High-quality images that showcase product details or demonstrate product use can capture attention and keep customers engaged. Videos, such as product demos or customer testimonials, can also be effective in persuading customers to buy.
Mobile Optimization
With a significant portion of online shopping now taking place on mobile devices, it’s crucial that your Amazon Store is optimized for mobile users. A mobile-optimized store ensures that your design and layout are responsive, providing a seamless experience across different devices.
Mobile optimization includes ensuring that images load quickly and that text is readable without zooming. Buttons and links should be easily tappable, and the layout should adjust smoothly to different screen sizes. A mobile-friendly design can significantly impact your sales, as customers are more likely to complete a purchase if their shopping experience is smooth and hassle-free.
SEO-Friendly Layout
The design and layout of your Amazon Store also impact your store’s visibility in Amazon’s search results. An SEO-friendly layout can help your store rank higher, making it easier for customers to find your products.
Incorporate relevant keywords naturally into your store’s content, including product titles, descriptions, and image alt texts. This not only improves your search ranking but also ensures that customers who are searching for specific products are more likely to land on your store.
Additionally, the use of structured data and a clean, organized layout can help search engines better understand the content of your store, further boosting your visibility.
Building Trust Through Design
Trust is a critical factor in online shopping, and your store’s design can play a significant role in building that trust. A professional, well-designed store conveys reliability and quality, making customers feel more confident in their purchasing decisions.
Incorporate elements such as customer reviews, ratings, and trust badges (e.g., secure checkout, money-back guarantee) prominently in your layout. These elements can reassure customers that they are making a safe and informed purchase, which can lead to higher conversion rates.
Enhanced Brand Storytelling
Your Amazon Store isn’t just a place to sell products; it’s also an opportunity to tell your brand’s story. The design and layout of your store can help communicate your brand’s values, mission, and unique selling propositions.
Use dedicated sections of your store to share your brand’s history, showcase your commitment to quality, or highlight what sets your products apart from the competition. By creating a narrative that resonates with customers, you can build a stronger emotional connection, encouraging brand loyalty and repeat purchases.
Conclusion
In the world of Amazon App Marketing, the design and layout of your Amazon Store are more than just aesthetic considerations—they are powerful tools that can influence customer behavior and drive sales. A well-designed store that offers a seamless shopping experience, communicates your brand’s value, and guides customers through the buying process can set you apart from competitors and boost your sales significantly.

2. Optimize Your Website for Search Engines (SEO)
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is crucial for improving your website's visibility in search engine results pages (SERPs). Ensure your website is optimized for on-page factors such as meta titles, meta descriptions, headers, and alt text for images. Create high-quality, informative content that incorporates your target keywords naturally. Aim to provide value and solve problems for your audience to encourage longer dwell times and repeat visits.
3. Create Compelling Content on a Regular Basis

Adapt your strategies and tactics accordingly to stay ahead of the competition and maintain sustainable growth in website traffic over the long term.
