Does anyone else treat even writing a fic about Narayan as a way of prayer to him? Or is it only me?
I see even writing a fic on Mahabharat/puran etc is a form of devotion to him. He, who sees even insults (see Viparit Bhakti) as devotion and grants moksha to his enemies, I feel like when we are writing fics out of love, it could also be a type of love/devotion. After all, while writing a fic, you are continuously thinking of him in one way or the other.

Varicocele and Its Non-Surgical Treatments without surgery
Tumblr media
Varicocele is a condition where the veins within the scrotum become enlarged, much like varicose veins that develop in. It is a common cause of low sperm production and decreased sperm quality, which can lead to infertility. Many men with varicoceles experience pain, swelling, or a lump in the testicles, although some may have no symptoms at all. While surgical options like varicocelectomy and embolization are often recommended, there are various non-surgical methods available that can be effective for varicocele treatment without surgery. These methods focus on alleviating symptoms and improving overall reproductive health.
Lifestyle Changes and Dietary Adjustments
One of the most fundamental approaches to varicocele treatment without surgery involves making certain lifestyle and dietary changes. These changes can significantly impact the health of your veins and overall reproductive system.
1. Diet and Nutrition:
A balanced diet rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals can improve blood circulation and vein health. Foods like berries, citrus fruits, leafy greens, nuts, and seeds are excellent choices. Additionally, incorporating foods high in fiber can help maintain a healthy digestive system, reducing pressure on the pelvic veins.
2. Hydration:
Staying well-hydrated is crucial for maintaining good circulation and preventing blood from becoming too thick, which can exacerbate varicocele symptoms. Try to drink at least eight glasses of water each day.
3. Regular Exercise:
Engaging in regular physical activity promotes healthy blood flow and can prevent the worsening of varicocele symptoms. Activities such as walking, swimming, and yoga are especially beneficial.Avoid strenuous activities that increase abdominal pressure, such as heavy lifting, as they can aggravate the condition.
Herbal Remedies and Supplements
Several herbal remedies and supplements are considered effective for varicocele natural treatment. These natural treatments can support vein health and improve symptoms.
1. Horse Chestnut Extract:
Horse chestnut extract is renowned for its ability to strengthen blood vessels and improve circulation. It contains a compound called aescin, which has anti-inflammatory and vasoprotective properties.
2. Pycnogenol:
Pycnogenol, an extract from French maritime pine bark, is rich in antioxidants and has been shown to improve blood flow and reduce swelling in varicose veins, making it one of the best varicocele treatment available.
3. Gotu Kola:
Gotu Kola is an herb that has been used in traditional medicine for its vein-strengthening properties. It helps in reducing swelling and improving blood circulation, which can alleviate varicocele symptoms.
4. Omega-3 Fatty Acids:
Omega-3 fatty acids, found in fish oil and flaxseed oil, have anti-inflammatory properties that can improve blood flow and vein health. Incorporating omega-3 supplements into your diet can support varicocele natural treatment.
Home Remedies and Self-Care Practices
In addition to dietary and herbal approaches, several home remedies and self-care practices can provide relief from varicocele symptoms.
1. Cold Compress:
Applying a cold compress to the scrotal area can help reduce swelling and alleviate pain. Wrap an ice pack in a cloth and apply it for 15-20 minutes multiple times a day.
2. Scrotal Support:
Wearing a supportive garment, such as an athletic supporter or compression shorts, can provide relief from pain and discomfort by reducing pressure on the affected veins.
3. Elevation:
Elevating the legs can help improve blood circulation and reduce the pooling of blood in the veins. Lie down and prop your legs up on a pillow for 15-20 minutes daily.
Yoga and Specialized Exercises
Yoga and specialized exercises can play a crucial role in varicocele treatment without surgery. These exercises aim to improve blood circulation and strengthen the muscles around the veins.
1. Legs-Up-the-Wall Pose (Viparita Karani):
This yoga pose involves lying on your back with your legs extended vertically against a wall. It helps improve blood flow from the legs to the heart, reducing pressure on the pelvic veins.
2. Pelvic Floor Exercises:
Strengthening the pelvic floor muscles can enhance blood circulation and support the veins in the scrotum. Kegel exercises, which involve contracting and relaxing the pelvic floor muscles, are particularly beneficial.
3. Breathing Exercises:
Deep breathing exercises, such as diaphragmatic breathing, can reduce stress and improve overall circulation. Practice deep breathing for 10-15 minutes daily to enhance vein health.
Acupuncture and Massage Therapy
Acupuncture and massage therapy are alternative treatments and the best varicocele treatment that can provide significant relief from varicocele symptoms by improving blood flow and reducing inflammation.
1. Acupuncture:
Acupuncture involves the insertion of thin needles into specific points on the body to stimulate blood flow and reduce inflammation. It can be an effective varicocele natural treatment, particularly for pain relief.
2. Therapeutic Massage:
Therapeutic massage can help improve circulation and reduce muscle tension in the pelvic area. Focus on gentle, circular motions to stimulate blood flow and alleviate discomfort.
Stress Management and Relaxation Techniques
Stress can exacerbate varicocele symptoms by increasing blood pressure and inflammation. Implementing stress management techniques can be beneficial for overall health and vein function.
1. Meditation:
Regular meditation practice can reduce stress levels and promote relaxation. Even 10-15 minutes of daily meditation can have a positive impact on your varicocele treatment.
2. Progressive Muscle Relaxation:
Progressive muscle relaxation involves tightening and then relaxing various muscle groups in the body. This technique can help reduce tension and improve blood circulation.
Conclusion
While surgical intervention is a common recommendation for the best varicocele treatment, many non-surgical options can effectively alleviate symptoms and improve overall vein health. By incorporating lifestyle changes, dietary adjustments, herbal remedies, and self-care practices, you can manage varicocele symptoms and enhance your quality of life. These natural approaches not only provide relief but also contribute to long-term health and wellness. For those seeking varicocele treatment without surgery, exploring these alternative methods can offer significant benefits and support overall reproductive health.

How to improve sleep?
We are all well aware of the benefits of sleeping in time. But very few of us practice that. We all go to bed by 11 but we don’t sleep. We keep watching series on netflix, play games on phone or keep scrolling through social media. Some of us can’t sleep because of the stress we undergo. Ultimately our sleep cycle is disrtubed which is not good for a healthy body.
Yoga has a lot of asanas and pranayamas which can help with insomnia, improving sleep cycle. Practicing Yoga regularly thus leads to a better quality of life.
Studies have suggested these 3 simple Yoga practices for sound sleep:
Chandra Bhedena Pranayama: This Pranayama helps in relaxing the mind from undue stress. This pranayama also activates the parasympathetic nervous system. To practice this pranayama close your eyes and sit in a meditative pose. Now slowly, close your right nostril and take a deep breath from the left nostril. Then exhale from the right nostril. Proportion of inhalation and exhalation should be the same.
Supta Bhadarasana This asana helps release the physical and mental tension. Practice this asana on your bed. Lie down on the bed on your back. Your face should face the ceiling. Now bend your legs so that the soles of your legs  face each other and interlock your toe fingers. Now place these on your abdomen, close your eyes and focus on your breath. After sometime, release the pose slowly.
Viparit Karni Mudra This asana helps in relieving tired legs. Also, this asana calms the mind. To do this lie down on your back and place the hands by the side of the body. While exhaling lift your legs and back up from the floor. Take support from your hands. The knees should get perfectly in line with your eyes. Your back should be very well supported with hands. Take 6 breaths in this posture and release.
Some more tips to improve your sleep:
Do not use your phones and laptop for 30 minutes before sleeping. Dim the lights of the rooms. Don’t be near bright lights.
A glass of warm milk before bed helps induce sleep.
To de-stress dip your feet in lukewarm water just before going to bed.
Try these tips and see if you can feel the difference in your sleep.
We, at The Yoga Institute Goa, offer 200 hour yoga teacher training courses.
