regarding violet, one of luca's younger sisters, and some ocs i havent mentioned before. warnings and such under the cut

as a note: this has been unedited for...a while. it's not up to my current standard, but i am interested in maybe revamping it at some point.

warnings: adult dude making bad decisions regarding a minor, but not in a sexual way? its not really about him, though, it's about violet, and her wanting to impress this older guy and thinking "hm, that's questionable, but it's probably fine!" and. it doesnt really have an ending...but i liked it enough to feel it was worth posting here.

again: there is no sexual content, i dont write about minors like that, thats not what the point is here. this does not include and is not about sexual assault or anything of the sort. it is about bad decisions, all around. reminder: harley is the adult in this scenario.

there is a make out scene but its not descriptive and its not meant to be like, gratifying, or sexy, it's more meant to illustrate that violet is experiencing something new and she's happy in that moment. it doesnt change the overarching intention of the narrative. things may seem okay at first but if you want my opinion, harley is more than old enough to know he's being nasty (and, for lack of a better word, stupid), and he still does everything here.

Seb—short for Sebastion—hasn’t been their friend for too long, but he has quickly managed to prove himself a worthy third co-conspirator in their deeds. He’s sarcastic, ironic, and he and Isabelle specifically hit it off big time.

Violet’s also his friend—but she knows her sister likes Seb more than that. She keeps telling her to go for it, but Izzy keeps making excuses. 

Now, Violet isn’t interested in Seb, per se, but...well. 

Sebastian has a brother.

A very attractive brother. And he’s more than that—he’s funny, and he’s cool, and he makes Violet feel all fluttery inside. His name is Harley. He’s four older than them—twenty—but still.

Anyway, Violet stayed after school today to get some help from a teacher, and then she finally gets to Seb’s, where the three of them had agreed to meet. Once Seb’s mom lets her in, Violet heads upstairs to his room.

She opens the door soundlessly, and she’s met with the sight of her twin and their mutual best friend sitting on the floor, kissing as they ignore their homework. Violet stares at them for a moment before, just as soundlessly, shutting the door and turning around before she heads back downstairs. 

Somebody owes her ten bucks.

As Violet heads for the front door, it opens, and Harley appears in front of her. He’s added lime green highlights to his dark brown hair.

“Oh! You’re...Violet, right?” he asks. Violet feels her heart start beating a little harder. 

He got which twin she was right!!

“Y-yeah, that’s me.” Violet says.

“You gotta go somewhere?” Harley asks, “Your sister isn’t with you.”

“Oh, no, um...she’s...they’re upstairs, and...um... Well, everyone already knew it was going to happen, anyway...” Violet says, her cheeks warming a little.

“Oh. Oh.” Harley says, “Damn...get it, little bro…” 

Violet snorts. “They got it.” she says. Harley laughs.

He goes quiet for a moment, seeming to be thinking. He’s sort of in Violet’s way, so she just sort of stands there and waits, feeling a bit awkward.

“Since they’re up there having their own fun, we should have some of our own. What do you say we drive uptown?” Harley asks.

A chance to be with the guy she likes??

“Okay.” Violet says easily. Harley takes her hand and leads her to his car, which is parked behind his mom’s in the garage. They get in, and Harley starts driving.

They have a nice time exploring everything there is to see, uptown. It’s especially fun to see Harley’s view of things—Violet finds herself smiling and laughing a lot. 

The sun starts to set.

“How about some dinner?” Harley asks. Violet accepts, and they sit down in a restaurant where they eat dinner. She’s sure to send a group text to her family letting them know she’s okay, but won’t be eating with them. She notices her phone is only at 3%—she doesn’t have her charger, either. She locks it and puts it away to conserve the battery.

Once they’ve eaten, they get back in the car. Violet expects Harley to drive her home, now—but he doesn’t go in that direction.

“I’m gonna have you meet some of my friends.” he says. Violet wants to say that she really needs to get home—she feels a little uneasy. 

But Harley knows what he’s doing, surely, and it’s a Friday night! 

It’s fine...right?

They’re driving for a while, talking about various things and listening to music. Finally, they arrive at some house. There are cars parked outside and music audible from the inside.

Harley leads Violet inside, where a party is taking place. There are tons of people, all standing around with red cups in their hands, with music blasting.

A brown-haired man with a red-haired girl on his arm approaches them.

“Yo, Harley! Who’s the girl?” The man asks.

“Charlie, Lyra, this is Violet. Violet, this is Charlie and Lyra, my friends from school.” Harley says.

“N-nice to meet you…” Violet says, feeling a little shy. She’s starting to get a faint feeling that she wishes Isabelle was there. 

“...whoa, is she a kid?” Lyra asks.

“So? She’s 16. She can handle this kind of thing.” Harley says, “Right, Vi?”

He called her Vi!

“Y-yeah! It’s cool. I’ve been to parties like this…”

At least, ones held by other kids… she thinks.

Harley takes her around, introducing her until he’s called into another room. She follows him, and finds some guy doing shots at the bar. He immediately looks at Harley and points at him before slamming down the empty shot glass he had in his other hand.

“You and me. Right now.” The guy says.

“Fuck yeah.” Harley says. Violet feels uneasy...should he be drinking if he’s going to be driving them home?

She stays quiet. Harley’s an adult, he knows what he can handle.

It’s fine.

She watches as a crowd gathers, and they drink. It’s vodka, of course—there are five lined up for them each.

“You trying to get me drunk, Beanie?” Harley asks.

“That depends on you.” Beanie says.

Violet watches as they drink. Harley comes out the victor, appearing just slightly impaired.

After, he pours Violet and himself cups of punch…"punch".

“Think you can handle big boy juice?” Harley asks.

“Of course.” Violet says, just a little hesitantly. She takes a sip and nearly spits it out.

She knows that if her Mother, Father, or Luca could see her, they would be so disappointed.

She sort of follows Harley around until she feels her phone ring. When it does, she sees that it’s already past midnight. Her curfew is at 11pm on Fridays.

Just as she goes to accept the call, her phone does dark, shutting itself off. She remembers it only had 3% battery left...it must not have been enough.

She finally works up the courage to get Harley’s attention, tugging on his sleeve.

“What’s up?” He asks.

“I need to get home. It’s past curfew and my family is probably getting worried. Someone tried to call me, but my phone died.” Violet says.

“Ah, we wouldn’t want anyone to think I kidnapped you or something...alright, give me a few minutes and we’ll hit the road.” Harley says, “Stay here.”

Violet sits on the couch, and watches Harley walk off into another room.

An hour passes. At least, it feels like an hour. She finally gets up and starts looking for him, and she finds him...at the bar.

“I’ll win next time.” Harley says, slurring a little.

This makes Violet super nervous. She goes up to him.

“Harley, can you still drive like this?” She asks. She’s panicking a little.

“I doubt a single person in this house is fit to drive. Let him sleep it off for a while.” Lyra says, “C’mon big boy, let’s take a nap.”

Violet follows them upstairs, and Harley gets right in bed.

“Violet.” He says, “C’mere. Lay down with me.” 

Violet can’t find it in herself to refuse. She leaves a good gap between them—but Harley takes her hand.

“You’re seriously one of the prettiest girls I’ve ever seen.” He says, obviously somewhat intoxicated. Violet blushes.

Harley falls asleep. And so does Violet, eventually.

When Violet wakes up, she’s warm. And something warm is around her. She opens her eyes to see Harley, and finds that he’s got his arms around her. 

She breaks out of them just enough to check the time. 4:27am.

She’s so fucked.

Violet sighs, laying back down. Harley stirs, then, and opens his eyes, looking right into hers. She feels her face warm. He puts a hand on her cheek, and she lets him kiss her. Her heart’s pounding in her chest.

“Is that ok?” Harley asks. Violet hesitates before nodding.

So he kisses her again. And again. And…

She’s never made out with anybody, really, but it’s making her feel warm and tingly. She likes it, she thinks.

And then she remembers the time, and pulls away.

“I really need to get home, Harley. My family doesn’t know where I am.” Violet says.

“Then come with me, my Princess, and I will return you to your door.” Harley says smoothly.

Harley finally drives her home, where there are lights still on. Harley walks Violet up to the door, which opens as they approach. 

Luca, their Mom, and Marion step out, and Luca is obviously angry, which immediately makes Violet feel terrible. Luca isn’t the angry type.

“Are you the reason my little sister has been missing all night?” Luca asks

“She’s old enough to handle herself.” Harley says, scoffing.

“Have you—have you been drinking?” Luca asks, “What the fuck is wrong with you?”

“Excuse me?” Harley says.

“Did he touch you?” Luca asks Violet. 

“Nothing happened that I couldn’t handle.” She says.

Luca nods, seeming to accept this, and then very suddenly punches Harley in the face, making those around him gasp.

“You piece of shit.” Luca says, “She’s 16!”

“Holy shit, Luca.” Marion says. He’s only seen Luca this upset on very specific occasions.

“What’s the difference between us and you and Marion?!” Violet demands.

“Me and Marion are the same age! We’re both adults!” Luca says, “You’re not legal, Violet!”

“Okay, okay! That’s enough!” Eve says, “Violet, sweetie, come inside and go to bed. We can talk more about this tomorrow, when your father comes home from his conference.” 

Eve takes Violet inside, but Luca hasn’t backed off yet.

“If I ever find you near my sister again, I swear to god, I will—” Luca starts, but Marion cuts him off.

“My boyfriend has been worried sick all night because you decided you wanted to fuck around with someone too young for you.” He says, “Grow up.”

Inside, Eve gently leads Violet to the stairs.

“Mom, I didn’t—“ Violet starts, but her mother holds up a hand.

“We’ll worry about that tomorrow. Go get some sleep. I’ll deal with your brother.” Eve says.

“���okay.” Violet says.

She heads upstairs and quietly opens the door to her and Isabelle’s room. Isabelle herself is asleep in her bed with her phone in her hand.

Violet feels awful when she sees that she’s the one Izzy had been texting.

Violet quietly changes into a night shirt and finally plugs her phone in before going to bed.

anyway i had plans but i wasnt sure how to execute them. ill probably use this as a basis for something later but it needs...a lot of work. for one, why am i so bad at using adjectives and stuff?? thats a big critique i have regarding a lot of my work...

Mr Sun (Wukong)'s love interest is (unfortunate for shadowpeach shippers) not Macaque. Though, that might be for the better, because they're already a handful when they hate each other.

As for who is actually Mr Sun's love interest (it's not actually confirmed, but there's a ton of student speculation. Mr Sun has never outrightly confessed he even has a crush, nor will he ever. (Includes my thoughts about the story itself, the game, the design, the changes everbyte promised us, the Ai art thing, the episodes pass, some words to the character and of course about the Duskwood side story. Oh, and it's long)

So... Where do I start here?

It was definitely an interesting episode and damn, very, very long, which is mostly a positive thing. It was definitely longer than Duskwood episodes were. Or maybe it just felt like it.

For me, personally, this episode was definitely much more bearable than episode 1 was. It was more exciting, more happenings, especially more video material which I love and is necessary to make the game thrilling and exciting and to add the adrenaline to it. Watching it and not knowing what is going to happen etc. And for people who played Duskwood, we all have calling traumas, I believe.

However, I have to say, I bought the episode pass so I had all the contents free so just watch and didn't have to pay with gems. So I believe, which I still don't like, people who can't buy the pass because they can't afford or similar, they still have the same problems with running out of gems and all that. Which is sad. But my problem with the 'premium'/ episodes pass is, that you have to pay for every single episode the amount of money. Which is unfair and let's be honest, just manipulation. At least the way they did it. 'You can only buy it here' and '50% off'. Like, come on. 50% off? Really?

Don't get me wrong, I definitely understand that Everbyte needs to earn money. And I also understand that they need to earn more money now. Everything is more expensive, all the costs that come with making a game, the actors, getting locations and all that. I do understand. And I have to say, it was 5€ for me, which is, in my position, every couple of months not too bad. But many people aren't that lucky. They can't afford it and it doesn't change the fact that the gems system is kinda... ouch.

However, I believe getting the episode pass saved me from many problems during the game so my experience was probably better than the once of others.

Let's get more into the episode itself. I think the story line is interesting and has a lot of potential. And it can be great, however, I have to honestly say, I'm missing something. I'm missing something that keeps me hooked and makes me want to keep playing. Sadly, for me, there is a big difference. When I played Duskwood I was always like "Oh man, I hope the episode doesn't end. Please don't end, please, I need more. More information, more chats" etc. etc. etc... But while playing the Moonvale episode I was just like "How much longer? How much more is left? Is it over soon?" I liked the story. And luckily, in between there were moments in between that gave a new push of excitement. But around that? I was more like... Hm... That's damn much episode but it didn't kept me hooked. I wasn't like "I have to keep playing!"

I have to say, I can't deny that Jake's character was a big part, yes, maybe even the biggest part why I loved the Duskwood episodes so that. And of course it's a mystery game, not a romance game. But it's also the story itself. It's good, but it's more of a 'yeah I keep playing because maybe the next episode will be better'. You know what I mean? I'm just missing something that makes me feel like "I have to know what happens next! I have to know more. More story, more interactions with the characters!" and not just "Yeah, it's good, I keep playing"

And I'm also still missing the depth of the character's. Like we got more about Charlie, and in my opinion, he's the most interesting character in Moonvale. Violet is... silent. Eric is... not too bad but also somehow boring, for me. And Ash... I don't like her. Really not. She's so bitchy and always so... haughty, in my eyes.

And for me, I also think the episodes are too dry. Too much talking about things that aren't really that exciting, of course it's only the second episode, but still. And I also really don't like how slow the damn chats are. Of course, I think it's a way to make the episodes longer, which is a way to go, but in my eyes not a really good way. I would kill to make those chest faster. I think there should be an option to set the pace like it was in Duskwood. Simply because for people who think it's too slow and dry, like me, it makes me lose interest and it's more like a "Yeah, whatever, let's finish this".

I think a great addition to the game was definitely the 'Story' part, where we had to post the story. And as we all have seen, there was also a Duskwood picture, so I can very well imagine that in the future, that's might be the way how we are going to reach the others, by posting a story.

Speaking of Duskwood, let's go in with the side story. Which was, of course, also not too much yet, but it gave us a great inside of what is going on and it's very interesting what is happening. Like, they're shutting the whole town down. No messages in or out, no signal and now all of them are brought away by, obviously, the FBI probably. And of course all that is happening because of Jake. Shutting the town down etc. Which is absolutely exciting and the biggest reason why I keep playing Moonvale. I think it's very interesting how NYMOS was brought in and I think it's a believable way why the dw characters can't reach us. And I also loved how Everbyte included that the characters are speaking to us. Like Dan, Thomas, using our name and reaching out to us and not just talking with the group like they are still waiting and hoping for us. And at the end also Cleos video and that she spoke about Jake and all that... It's just a big relief to see them back and all that. And I think in the future it will definitely bring us a great experience.

Back to Moonvale: I also though some chats did not make much sense to me. Like, some theories and stuff, I think they forgot a bit about the end call with Adam in episode one and that he was alive there and all that. Even if he didn't talk etc. I don't know, I think some chat path weren't that logical. But I love how they kept using the right time line. Like 'last night', 'now it's morning', that's often a big problem xD

And some more positive about the game design now. I think the way the mini games are designed isn't too bad. It's still cute and has more of candy crush but it doesn't bother me that bad anymore like it did at the beginning. I'm glad they changed the backgrounds and the messanger chat layout. It's more realistic again and also the sounds are more realistic. The theme music is more realistic and I really like that and I'm happy everbyte went that way now.

I'm also glad we got a bit more profiles of the character's. Like the picture and videos. It makes the whole thing more real.

Sure, we still have some Ai in the game and I still don't support that. But I'm glad at least Charlie and Violet both have a real picture now and not just AI generated pictures. It would be best to completely remove Ai, we talk more than enough about why. But I can go with it, for now, as long as it doesn't come back like in episode one. (Of course I don't protect Ai art here now, and as I said, I would prefer it it were more real like on Duskwood. With stock photos and stuff. But fact is, AI art is indeed a part of this world now, if we want or not. And even if it's not good, there is also not much to do against it. Which doesn't mean I like it)

I'm sad we didn't get the option to chose out own profile picture and background etc. To really customize our profile and the game experience. And it's still only Ai art, which is really disappointing for me. Especially also because you still have to be lucky when you pay gems for more wallpapers and so. Why not letting us just buy what we want as profile picture. It's still a way to make us buy more gems if necessary which is sad. And like, how am I supposed to customize my profile to make it more *realistic*, when I only have background and wallpaper that aren't even close to what I personally like? It just makes it less real, in my eyes, and that's very sad.

And I also think it's a bit annoying that we still haven't Charlies and Violets contact with names just because we don't have them in personal Chats yet. I would very much prefer it they would see the names instead of the numbers.

Let's talk about the mini games for a second. First of all, too much. Really too much. Why not staying with only three per break? I mean, that more than enough. But sometimes 4? And then having only a short chat and having to play again... It's too much in my eyes, really. I found them much more bearable this time, however. Still not that easy but better than in episode one. Those killed me. Way too much and too hard. It just added onto the not so great play experience. This was better here, in my eyes, but still a bit too much in my eyes. Keep it calm, don't make us play so many, we lose hearts, gems and time. We play for the story, not for the mini games. I get that we need to do that in between, but four are just too much.

So, a bit more about the story itself. I think it was really interesting with Eric and Whitmore. Like, I somehow liked him xD. I just love weird characters and I thought he looks really cool for this role. (I won't comment on any acting here.) The way he suddenly appeared, with that look, those eyes, I loved it, gave me a good amount of chills. He gives me 'wannabe survival trainee'- vibes. Like, you know, those guys who train in case the world ends? He gave me those vibes. Likes it. Whitmore is approved. xD

I think it was very interesting that whitemore also had a tarot card. Like, we got 'The Stranger', Whitmore got 'The Liar' and ad Unknown said, he is indeed lying. So we are, apparently, somehow connected with Whitemore definitely. And it's obviously that whatever is happening, we are a big reason for it. I feel like someone is challenging us to solve this case. Maybe Unknown, maybe someone else, I don't know.

Unknown is my favorite character so far, to be honest. Yes, I'm a simple person. But he is obviously somehow important for all this and knows things that might be important for us. The Greenside Motel story is very interesting for me as well. I like how they made this mystery around it. The room Adam got and how we have the theory that the room was for us and not for Adam himself. The bonus with doing the Viral Story gave the whole thing an extra touch and made it more exciting. The comments we get, what the people say about the Motel, the whole stories and stuff, I think it's very interesting.

And I also liked the little bonus about the girl who was asking for Eric. Seems like those two had a rather stromy relationship or anything since Ash said 'Like she has any right to know' and stuff like that. I really do wonder how Charlie managed to deal with her.

Oh, and another big thing: WHERE THE HELL IS BRIAN?? Like two episode and dude didn't appear? Sus! Come out, say hello. I don't have time to wait.

So, long story short, my opinion in a few words: The story is great and has definitely potential. However, I'm still missing something that really keeps me up on my toes and and give me that adrenaline like feeling. The episode was definitely much better than the first one, although, in my eyes, sadly,.. chewy and still a bit too dry.

(Oof, so, that was a lot, actually. And the first time I really made a whole post about my thoughts. I'm sure I forgot about things I wanted to mention but if so, I will just add it to this post by reblogging. I hope you found my answer likeable and you had some fun reading it. A Story of Doing the Utmost Best for Arnold, Who is Interested in Being Scolded at by Rishe

This is a bonus short story written by Touko Amekawa with for 7th Time Loop Volume 6! It’s set on Rishe's 7th loop (her present one), and is about her and, well, Arnold, as usual. Contains spoilers for Volume 6, so if you haven't read that, reading this short story isn't recommended!

The day before they returned to Galkhein from the canal city, Rishe, who visited Arnold in his bedroom, got flustered seeing her fiance head towards the desk.

"And I even asked you to refrain working on official business as it might worsen your wound..."

"This degree of work isn't a big deal. I'll finish this at once."

"Not this again!"

Arnold might have called that degree of work 'not a big deal', but there were stacks and stacks of official documents piling up on the desk.

"We will be returning by carriage tomorrow, right? In addition to our many concerns..."

Rishe herself was worried, of course, but above all else, Arnold's health came first.

Then, Arnold's hand, which was holding a quill, stopped moving, and looked at Rishe, who was standing tilted behind him.

"I think you know about how wounds heal more than I do."

"!"

He told her this very clearly, she could feel her cheeks turn hot.

(It is true that I begged His Highness to show me that everyday, but...)

She was very much aware of that matter related to Arnold.

For example, when he woke up in the morning. Or during his breaks when he was out on official business, or after bathing, Rishe was entrusted with Arnold's treatment.

Cleaning his wound, keeping it from drying, using a cloth to spread much of the medical ointment on his wound then wrapping a bandage around it.

While he was undergoing treament, she didn't mind the situation as she couldn't help but worry, but when she came back to her senses, her heart was filled with a lot of complicated feelings.

After all, Arnold took the clothes off his upper body so she could apply treatment easier.

While working in an apothecary mode back then, she wasn't even conscious of this situation, but when the details of his wound opening got pointed out in such a trifling time like this, she got directly embarrassed.

"A... At any rate, don't! Stop working! No!"

"........Ha."

While Rishe switched over in a fluster, Arnold laughed a little, looking amused.

"Prince Arnold. Are you in a good mood, perhaps?"

"Yes. I am."

"???"

Rishe tilted her head at the unexpected reply. What did Arnold like in this banter where she was scolding his actions?

"This is rather trivial. Just that..."

"Just that?"

Arnold slightly gave Rishe a seemingly provocative look.

"I was thinking of you scolding me at times like this."

"――――Ah!"

His words made Rishe understand the reason for his sudden good mood.

Since their talk about Dietrich a few days ago, for some reason Arnold showed an interest in being scolded by Rishe.

For Arnold, this moment of banter might have been the result of him testing things out.

(Still, this shouldn't be why you're still working on official business......!!)

From the bottom of her heart, she still couldn't comprehend what Arnold was thinking.

Arnold being sincere like this was the reason why Rishe could not scold him at all.

(Oh, no, all this time, he's still continuing with those paperwork! According to Oliver, none of them are urgent official documents. It's unlikely I can stop him from working on these while we're in the carriage, but at least he must lie down and rest tonight, or the strain from sitting down might open his wound...)

Rishe then suddenly had an idea.

"Then, let's play something else!"

"?"

Arnold's eyes narrowed slightly, as if he was curious.

The fact she could catch a glimpse of emotions on him, as he was usually expressionless, made Rishe very happy.

"You can tease me in such a way that won't pose a disadvantage to me, and in a way that I won't hate but will still trouble me."

"......"

"If that's the case, Your Highness, you can tease me as much as you want, can't you? As I'd be troubled by this, I will scold you, and I'm sure you'll be satisfied by that."

"......Wait."

As Arnold's brows furrowed, she understood the sitution has changed from earlier. She might be able to persuade him by pushing this conversation through.

"You need to rest, so let's go back to bed!"

Rishe then put her hand on top of Arnold's, squeezed it, then pulled him to her direction.

"So feel free to tease me in any way you like."

"Hey. Rishe."

"You can toy then untangle the ribbons on my [nightgown], or squish my cheeks as much as you like. I will find it troubling and embarrassing, but I don't think it's a drawback for me, and I don't mind it either..."

Rishe tried to urge Arnold to stand up, then she just blinked.

"Your Highness?"

"......Really, you."

The other hand Rishe wasn't holding then reached out to her. With a scolding look on his eyes, Arnold talked.

"――Being treated like this is detrimental to me."

"Huh!?"

His fingers then gently tickled the back of Rishe's neck.

Unconsciously holding her voice back, Rishe then covered her mouth with both hands. She could feel Arnold's beautifully-shaped fingers, the skin slightly rough, as expected of someone who held a sword.

Arnold said it would be a drawback to be pranked that way.

"It's... it's not like that!"

"Hm."

"It's simply t-ticklish......! Ngh..."

It seemed like something was tickling her skin, but in reality, just as Rishe suggested earlier, he was toying with the decorative [ribbon] straps of her nightgown.

The nightgown's ribbon laces on the collarbones served as straps, and when touched, those straps would fall down the shoulder.

"Huh... So?"

"Mmm..."

With a slightly amused voice, he then cupped her cheeks with his right hand.

He then squished her cheeks gently, toying with them like he did before.

"So, after all, you're not going to scold me?"

"You're not lying down on bed and resting, so I won't scold you yet......! Nnnnn..... Your Highness!"

To begin with, even though this might feel like a scolding, it might be different to Arnold.

The hand that was on Rishe's cheeks now moved to trace her ear smoothly. And his deep voice reached Rishe's ears.

"Look at me...… If you don't like this, then say so."

(After all, it's not that I don't like this.......)

In that moment, Rishe noticed all of a sudden.

She went, Pah!, and immediately stepped back away from him.

"I... I apologize! I'm sorry for abusing my authority over and over!"

"......?"

As Rishe mentioned "abuse of authority", Arnold then made this baffled, sullen expression.

However, he stopped his prank of tickling her, so Rishe used that moment to escape.

"Please wait! Let me arrange the bed again so you can lie down there and carry out your official duties in a more comfortable position!"

"......All right."

She rushed to the bed while apologizing.

(…I shouldn't have done that.)

She gathered and arranged all the fluffy cushions and pillows, making full use of all her skills from her life as a maid, however, she couldn't manage to look at Arnold.

(To think I'm using such an excuse to make the person I love pay attention to me......!)

Right now, Rishe was probably the one more eager to be scolded by Arnold.

Although she would never say it directly, she said something in a very quiet voice while Arnold's back was turned on her.

"Next time, I'll think of another way to scold you, Prince Arnold..."

"......You know."

"?"

After Arnold somehow made a bitter-sounding utterance, he didn't say anything after that.

To at least make up for what she did earlier, Rishe then tidied up the bed to help with his paperwork later on.

Listen, I almost never post my own ramblings on tumblr dot com, but I have not stopped thinking about Twenty-Sided Tavern since I saw it (twice!) this weekend (because Aabria), so I Must Shout into the void.

Okay so I saw a thursday evening show (Diego!Warrior as Chester, Jasmin!Spellcaster as Leggs, Maddie!Trickster as Barry) and I knew very little going in and was delighted at every turn. Barry betraying the party? Command "submit" and then starting to turn to stone? The creepy earth elemental hyena who taunted him about not being so different? Losing his arm to stone right as he got cold feet and tried to wipe his friends' memories of his betrayal? And then to come so far, but not be strong enough to dispel the Havoc... the sadness of not saving the day, mixed with the hope of never giving up the good fight (Diego got me right in the heart with "y'know... I think there might be a prison riot tomorrow")... masterful!

So I dragged my friends with me for the saturday matinee (Erika!Warrior as Chester, Jasmin!Spellcaster as Ethel, Maddie!Trickster as Katya) (plus Cassidy as Tavern Keeper because NO BOYS ALLOWED ON NATIONAL WOMENS' DAY). And to still be surprised at so many turns?!?!? Yes, there were obviously going to be new little silly bits (different riffs! different npc names! minute meteors as a hail of chanclas! that guard named wingdings!), but HOLY SHIT. I was HONORED to be in the room for the bbeg fight against "Just Madelyn Murphy." I respect the shit out of Maddie being ready to go for blood against her fellow players, both by actions in combat and by just. Planking menacingly in the corner. She and Aabria are a terrifying duo (and they're so right for that! womens' rights to emotional warfare!).

Yet, for "Just Madelyn Murphy," with her busted-ass statblock and all, the thing that defeated her was the power of storytelling. The power of her own character, reminding her that despite the difficulties that come from being a nerdy "backpack girl," she found her way to being able to tell badass stories with badass friends on a BIG CITY STAGE! That's what we do this for!

Anyhow. This absolutely goofy show put tears in my eyes twice this weekend so. Had to ramble.

And because I know she's in these streets: @quiddie if you see this, know that you're a legend, one of the most prolific storytellers of our generation indeed. Your command of story and stage is immaculate. I think it's wonderful that I get to live in a world where, instead of suing for emotional damages caused by an Aabria Show, I get to buy rush tickets to get my heartstrings played in person. Random Tate and Violet Headcanons

Vi really likes Mac Demarco. She refuses to call it a "guilty pleasure" because that implies she feels bad about it, which she doesn't.

Their most recent date was to build a bear workshop where they made each other plushies.

He made her a black teddy bear with sunglasses and big boots and she made him an opossum.

Violet goes to all of Tate's track meets.

Tate likes midwest emo and does feel a little bit bad about it.

Violet loves listening to Tate talk. He could be going on and on about just about anything and she's perfectly happy to knit and listen.

They each wear one half of a heart shaped friendship necklace. Violets is around her neck, Tate's is laced through his left shoe.

Tate was held back a year and, as a result, is the oldest person in his class.

Violet's room has an almost outlandish number of house plants. On the window ledge, hanging, in pots on her desk— they're everywhere.

Violet is a vegetarian (every once in a while she'll eat fish or shrimp, but very rarely)

Shares a jewelry box, totally completely different taste in jewelry.

Tate puts a skittle in his pill organizer to have after he takes his meds. "It's like a reward," he says.
