🅖🅐🅩 🅗🅔🅐🅓 🅒🅐🅝🅝🅞🅝🅢
---------------------------------------------------
Brought to you by a winter snow storm
---------------------------------------------------
Gaz HC’s
----------
(SFW)
> When he isn't at work he is practically attached to you at the hip. He always takes you shopping and spoils you whilst you two debate over skin care.
>This man absolutely has (at a bare minimum) a 5 step skincare routine. He doesn't skimp out on products either.
> Inexplicably has a thing for scent. Fragrances you use in your perfume, shampoo and conditioner, lotion, deodorant… literally everything matters.
> Following that all his fragrances match. His cologne would be similar to Uomo Born in Roma, including violet leaf, sage, and vetiver. If he can't find something he needs with a matching scent he will try finding a close replacement begrudgingly.
> Seeing as he’s often away from his home for prolonged periods of time, he will come home and deepclean the place before he even considers relaxing.
> When he finally makes it official with you, he spends his free time planning cute dates and being a present boyfriend.
> Outdoor summer movie dates? Check. Winter ice skating? Absolutely. Carving pumpkins for Halloween? His will be the scariest one you have ever seen.
> This man will cater to your every need as long as you pay him in the currency of kisses and hugs.
> While he is absolutely a gentleman, his work is very demanding mentally, physically, and timely. He does occasionally enjoy sitting in bed cuddling while you play with his hair.
> His love language to you is gift giving. However, his personal love language is physical touch and quality time, considering his profession and its needs, he deeply enjoys what time and touch he receives.
> This man will dress to impress, always maintaining perfection, but also matching your outfits perfectly. In a suit? He will be too. You're in a frilly sundress? He’s in a loose summer button up shirt which complements the color of your dress to a T.
> He knows when to show off, when you're at a party getting looks from others he’ll show his muscles by wrapping his arms around you or pulling you in by the waist. He’s not afraid to show who you belong to.
> He is a sucker for home cooked meals made by you, It's the thought and love that makes the food taste delicious. If you can't cook he will absolutely teach you how just so that way he can praise how well you made something. If you're not in the mood to cook he will make your favorite thing for you or get your favorite take out.
(NSFW) *more afab*
> He is a caring partner, he focuses on you finishing before he even considers relieving himself.
> This man enjoys when you sit on his face. He loves the feeling of the weight on him while being between your plush thighs. It makes him feel secure and hearing the moans egg him on further.
> The amount of times where he would just pick you up and eat you out on whatever is closest is insane.
> He has a whole playlist dedicated to fucking you so hard that you wont be able to walk for the next week. He also has one for when he really just wants to love every little thing about you while making you turn into jelly.
> His smell is heightened so he likes to make your senses sensitive. His favorite ways are tying you up and leaving you exposed and randomly tracing and touching you. Another one is a blindfold, especially when you're needy and begging.
> Similar to his playlist for the mood, he will praise you for taking him so well and being such a good girl. Maybe that same night even, he’ll be grabbing at you and practically growling about how you're his dirty slut that was made for being used by him.
> Has considered a threesome with you and soap…
> Will absolutely record himself fucking you in every position so that when he has to be away for work he has plenty of material.
> He doesn't own any toys for himself but he's bought you plenty of toys for while he's away. He doesn't mind because he knowns that when he comes back that he’ll fuck you better than any toy ever will.
> He's a switch naturally but usually tops. Will let you dominate him if you want to top or he just feels more submissive.
> He leaves so so many bites and hickeys. He adores the way they cover your neck, body, and jaw. You get upset when they aren't easy to hide, little do you know he purposefully makes them hard to cover up.
> Keeps a polaroid picture of you on the inside of his gear. It's his second favorite picture of you, the first being anywhere you're smiling for him, it shows you in the first set of lingerie he bought you between his legs.
> Soap accidentally saw this picture and asked about you. Gaz speaks so highly of you and shows you off to Soap. He gets turned on simply by the thought of you being you… Like this man just loves you so much.

Or like what i remember of that box from when I was 4 i guess. Funnily enough, yesterday i tested Amouage Portrayal Man and it gave me an olfactory memory from that same period: a skincare water ("cucumber lotion") my mother had that i would play with bc i liked the sensation of shaking a half-full glass bottle and i guess it was just the right size and weight for my little hands at the time. It apparently goes back to the soviet period and i can totally see a mid-20th century cosmetics company coming up with the Portrayal notes pyramid (violet leaf, vetiver) for their product that's meant to evoke ideas along the lines of fresh, green, light, natural.
Either Amouage is just like that with vintage references, or i'm in a stranger emotional place than i realize
When i was a very little kid my mother kept jewlery in this round black wooden box with chipped mother-of-pearl decorations. It was all this gaudy 80s stuff, like a nickel snake bracelet and iridescent black plastic pearls, that i don't remember her wearing - she just let me play with it. There is a type of iris-based floral accord (I noticed it strongly in Amouage's Relfection Man and now Myths Man) that smells exactly like that box to me.

20 Edible and Medicinal Plants & Fungi to Forage in Spring
1. Dandelion: The quintessential spring foraging plant, with edible and medicinal flowers, leaves, and roots. Make dandelion salve from the flowers, pesto or a salad with the leaves, and dandelion root coffee with the roots. 50+ Dandelion Recipes: https://www.growforagecookferment.com/dandelion-recipes/
2. Chickweed: A tasty edible green that dies back once the weather gets too warm, so pick it while you can! It's great in salads or pesto, and medicinally is soothing and cooling to the skin thanks to it's saponins.
3. Miner's Lettuce: A delicious salad green that grows wild in the western United States.
4. Wild Violet: Both flowers and leaves are edible and medicinal! They're often one of the first flowers in spring and make a delicious violet jelly or syrup or can be made into soothing wild violet soap or violet leaf balm. Violet Leaf Balm Recipe: https://thenerdyfarmwife.com/violet-leaf-balm-good-for-eczema-fibrocystic-breasts/
5. Clover: Red clover and white clover blossoms are both sweet and edible. Red clover especially is packed with vitamins and minerals! They both make a delicious tea, white clover iced tea recipe here: https://www.growforagecookferment.com/white-clover-iced-tea/
6. Fiddlehead Ferns: Fiddleheads are just fern leaves before they unravel, available only for a few weeks in spring. Ostrich fern is the most popular and tasty, similar in flavor to asparagus. Some fern varieties are toxic! *Make sure you have a good guidebook and always positively identify before harvesting!
7. Ramps: Also known as wild leeks. They have a strong onion flavor and can be used in place of onions or garlic. It's *important* to remember that ramps are becoming threatened in many areas. Consider your foraging spot and ALWAYS cut ramp leaves, leaving the bulb in the ground to regrow.
8. Cattail Shoots & Pollen: Every part of cattails can be used in some way, but the young spring shoots are the tastiest. They kind of taste like cucumber and can be eaten raw. The yellow pollen that covers the flower spike in spring and summer can be used as a foraged flour substitute.
9. Wild Asparagus: Notoriously difficult to spot, wild asparagus grows in patches throughout the US and Canada and tastes just like regular garden asparagus.
10. Stinging Nettle: *Bring a pair of gloves for harvesting! Don't touch it with bare skin!* Nettle is a superfood, packed with vitamins and minerals. Cooking it gets rid of the sting. Nettles are also medicinal, commonly used for kidney and bladder problems and as a tonic for women's reproductive health. Stinging Nettle-ade Recipe: https://www.growforagecookferment.com/stinging-nettle-ade-recipe/
11. Dead Nettle: Purple dead nettle is the most common variety and is often found in backyards, fields, parks, and gardens. It's delicious in a salad or pesto!
12. Henbit: In the same family as purple dead nettle and very similar looking. This is another yummy green for salads or a wild pesto. Chickens also love henbit, hence the name!
13. Garlic Mustard: Sometimes considered invasive, garlic mustard has a strong garlicky flavor that goes great in soups, salads, stir fries, tacos, and many other dishes. Since it's such a prolific plant you can usually pick lots of it without worry of over-harvesting.
14. Willow: Willow trees are highly medicinal trees and powerful pain relievers. All willows contain salicylic acid, the precursor to aspirin. It's bitter, but chewing some of the inner bark, drying it for a tea, or turning it into a decoction/tincture works well for pain relief and early spring is the best time to harvest.
15. Yarrow: A highly medicinal plant with white flowers and frilly leaves that make it easy to identify. It's bitter, but works in treating fevers and coughs, to help stop bleeding, and heal minor scrapes and bug bites. Yarrow is also great for skincare since it's soothing to the skin.
16. Plantain: Both edible and medicinal, with two main varieties, broadleaf plantain and narrowleaf plantain which are both beneficial. The young leaves can be eaten raw and are very nutritious. Older leaves are good in recipes like soups. Chewing some plantain leaf and putting it on a bug bite, bee sting, or minor wound will help with healing and to stop itching.
17. Cleavers: Many of us know cleavers as a garden weed that sticks to everything, but it's also medicinal! Cleavers are a highly nutritious food and also healthy for the lymphatic system. Blanching will get rid of the sticky hairs, here's some recipe ideas for cleavers: http://www.myhealthyhomemadelife.com/spring-foraging-5-ways-use-cleavers/
18. Morel Mushrooms: Some of the best (and most elusive) mushrooms to forage in spring. Morels should be cooked before eating and can be used like any other mushroom in recipes, they're delicious simply sauteed with a little butter too. *Always use a mushroom guidebook when mushroom hunting and ensure positive identification before consuming!
19. Oyster Mushrooms: Relatively easy to identify since they only grow on trees and stumps, oyster mushrooms are one of the tastiest wild mushrooms around. *Always use a mushroom guidebook when mushroom hunting and ensure positive identification before consuming!
20. King Bolete Mushrooms (Porcini): Considered a delicacy because they're so yummy, king boletes are often found on the forest floor growing under conifer trees. *Always use a mushroom guidebook when mushroom hunting and ensure positive identification before consuming!

Matcha Cream
Matcha is the fine powder of a special kind of green tea, the leaves of which are dried and processed for making matcha. Ever since the East Asian people started consuming matcha, many beneficial effects of that has been discovered since. It has been found that matcha has many health benefits, including the skin care benefits. It is rich in antioxidants and hence is useful in treating skin related problems. Antioxidants help in fighting against the free radicals, such as the reactive oxygen species and reactive nitrogen species which causes damage to the cells and can have many serious further complications. As matcha is prepared from the entire leaf of green tea it is much concentrated and contains higher amounts of antioxidants, so it provides extra protection and is therefore the best for using in skincare products Apart from the antioxidant effects, matcha also has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects. As a rich source of all these beneficial effects in a combined manner, matcha is now actively being used in many different skincare products, and the most popular product made available by us is the matcha cream. It has many benefits, like:
·        Delays the cell senescence and protects your skin form premature aging.
·        Fights against ultra violet light induced skin irradiation.
·        Reduces the irritation and redness of the skin.
·        Kills the acne causing bacteria of the skin and thereby helps in preventing acne.
Matcha is found be non-irritant, non-phototoxic, and non clastogenic. General toxicity properties are there also negligible. No reproductive toxicity has been reported, unlike the chemical-based products, which are advised not to use during the pregnancy as the chemicals can cross the placental barrier and reported to cause embryo-toxicity, thereby making it safe and popular to use. The magical effects of matcha makes it highly demanding and most of the people are using it and getting their desired benefits. The exclusive benefits of matcha cream are:
·        Protection of skin from harmful rays and pollutants. It helps in shielding our skin by providing layers of protection.
·        Anti-bacterial and anti-fungal effect. This cream does not allow the growth of bacteria, fungi, or microbes in the skin.
·        Moisturizing effects on screen and skin softening effects. It nourishes the skin, providing required compounds.
·        Helps in healing dry skin. Dry skin problems are also solved by using this cream.
·        The cream helps in glowing the skin and making it tone free. It shines your otherwise dull skin, due to pollution.
In this world of increasing pollution, using products that help in fighting against pollution are very much beneficial and this matcha cream exactly helps us in doing so. Once you start using, the difference will be clear, you will be able to observe the benefits it provides to your skin. The products are offered in many different packages and quantities. Your skin faces exposure to many different pollutants and irritants which induces damage and therefore needs compounds which can help in revival. This must not be ignored. Our company offers this cream which protects your skin and makes you smile more brightly. A detailed information about the benefits of using this cream can be accessed by logging into the website https://detoxie.in.

14 Questions You Might Be Afraid to Ask About jason natural body wash fragrance free
Best Organic Body Wash For Men
Tumblr media
Best Body Washes For Men Your Skin Would Adore
This is another hand-made natural product that is going to fit the bill perfectly for you if you’re looking to take good care of your skin or dealing with certain skin issues. One particular customer says that their skin had turned into a mess as a result of side effects of some medication.
Tumblr media
Best Body Washes (Shower Gels) For Men 2020
Men’s skin are usually composed of large pores, they tend to sweat more but Molton has been made to resolve this problem. The body wash is suitable for both showering and proper bathing. The jack black turbo body wash for men & black men is two in one body wash made to refresh the skin and help reduce the amount of bacteria present on the surface of the skin. The body wash has an aroma that is energizing which help you to detox your body and help you to recover healthy skin after exercise.
Jack Black Turbo Wash Energizing Cleanser For Hair & Body
The bodywash is transparent enough that allows for a light cleanse, and naturally locks the moisture your skin encompasses. Its lush bubbling gel will leave your skin feeling renewed and clean. This highly rated body wash has a matchless blend of 3-in-1 products that mildly cleanse the body with lush foam, while moisturizing your skin.
And The Winner Is… Body Wash Vs. Bar Soap
The cult perfumer's new Portrait of a Lady foam wash that's scented with the same timeless of blackcurrant and patchouli notes as the house's original 2010 fragrance. At Conscious Skincare we don’t put products in outer packaging as this can be a waste. However, please just choose from the menu above if you would like our Absolute Shower presented in a gift tube for a special occasion. We included the wonderful fragrance of Bergamot essential oilas it also acts as a natural serum to tame frizzy and stray hair strands. Smell great, even after your shower; Irish Spring's Non-Stop Fresh Body Wash leaves you with the freshest of smells so you feel your best.
Best Body Washes Every Man Needs (Review) In 2020
Few beauty products are as popular with men as scented shower gels. When choosing a shower gel, it is important to look at the ingredient list and choose a non-toxic formula to ensure that you are not exposing yourself to any harmful elements. Finding a truly all-natural body wash can sometimes be more difficult than just running to your local pharmacy and picking up what is on sale. are the ingredients in your body wash and other cleansers that cause them to have the lavish bubbles.
Ld Spice Men’s Body Wash, Swagger Scent, Red Collection
Eucalyptus is another ingredient featured in this product. It supports the immune system and reduces bacteria on the skin. Rosemary is there to warm your muscles and to act as a decongestant.
Our favorite from the new collection is the Juniper Sage aroma; juniper’s green bite meets the earthy mildness of sage in a naturally derived body wash that satisfies even the harshest critic. For some, a simple, all-for-one kind of attitude toward full body washes is all you need. Instead of being a body soap for your head, it’s a shampoo for your body. Free of parabens, mineral oils, phthalates, and chemical additives — never tested on animals — this is the indulgent, luxury-shampoo-meets-body-wash you didn’t know you needed. Good for any part of your body, a simple shower with this body wash transforms into a fir-tree lined luxuriation.
Greenfibres have forged the first ever Soil Association, 100% GOTS, certified organic cotton, make up and cleansing pads. Ecover are pulling the plug on plastic packaging with their brand new Washing Up Liquid bottle, made from 100% post-consumer recycled, 100% recyclable plastic.
For the fans of natural products, search no further than the Truremedy Naturals Remedy Soap. This body wash is formulated with tea tree oil, aloe vera, and mint to combat athlete’s foot, jock itch, and ringworm.
Nourishing botanicals like omega fatty acids along with mint essential oil, tea tree oil, and neem oil are a part of the invigorating, spa-like experience. The ingredients are natural and organic, no two ways about that. Unquestionably, harmful or chemical preservatives, detergents, dyes, and fragrances are not included.
When it comes to buying a body wash, the fancy ones may not be as effective in cleansing your skin of oil, sweat, and grime. Since all you want is a body wash, insisting on passing fads won’t work.
Has a nice lather, but you won't find any harsh chemicals, foaming agents, or irritants in this product. This beautiful organic body wash from LILFOX will not only https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dNP71HDBHir6XRatvlYC1TmgGOQRLlus/view?usp=sharing transform the scent of your bathroom into a tropical jungle, it will leave your skin feeling silky soft. The formula is crafted from organic olive oil and coconut oil soaps mixed with essential oils of jasmine flower, citrus oil, and violet leaf. It's got this fruity, floral, mildly sweet scent that is totally unique, but not overpowering. Best of all, it comes in a big 16 oz bottle and has a thick consistency---meaning it'll last a good long while.
It also washes away clean and leaves your skin feeling nice and smooth. Organic - An organic body wash is one that’s made with all natural ingredients. Body washes are a vital part of any man’s routine, the importance of which we hardly need to spell out.
When you want to get the best body wash to moisturize your skin, there are several characteristics to look after. However few signs to determine your dry skin are little rough red patches on the skin, especially on the cheeks.

Moonlit Maiden (Hyuga Hinata - Naruto)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Completing the Team 8 batch is Hinata’s bath bomb: Moonlit Maiden. This calming, delicate-smelling bath bomb was heavily inspired by one of my favorite blends at Bath and Body Works (Moonlight Path), which I’ve purchased as a body spray since my high school days. I’m now 28 years old.
That said, this isn’t even remotely close to a dupe. Moonlight Path and Moonlit Maiden share a lot of their high and middle notes, but Moonlight Path contains “soft musk” while I replaced that ingredient (since I know what musk is) with magnolia.
Violet Leaf Essential Oil
Violet Leaf Essential Oil was one of those rarities I had to purchase through a not-quite-as-reputable source. While there’s nothing wrong with purchasing Violet Essential Oil, neither Plant Therapy nor Essential Oil Labs (my two preferred vendors) currently supply it. I purchased this oil through BioFinest.
While the oil smells great, my concern comes from the fact that BioFinest also sells a set of other essential oils (like Mugwort) that are banned in some places…
The oil smells just like the plant, but in high concentration.
Pros:
Add it to your skincare regimen! Violet Essential Oil is gentle with your skin and can be used safely to treat a number of skin issues (such as eczema and acne). Dry skin and varicose veins can also benefit from having this oil applied to the skin. Just remember to dilute!
Cut down on inflammation and swelling! Violet Essential Oil has diuretic properties, meaning it can flush out extra water bulking down your body. When massaged into swollen joints or ankles (with a carrier oil), chronic sufferers of rheumatism saw and felt a reduction in swelling. It stimulates blood flow.
Cut down on headaches and stress! Violet Essential Oil has calming (not sedative) properties that can ease headaches, migraines, dizziness, nervous exhaustion, and anxiety. If you want to diffuse something for no purpose other than to relax and chill out, this is a go-to oil!
Fight off a cold! This essential oil has decongestant properties and cuts down on inflammation. One of the hardest parts of a cold is the inflammation paired with the mucus that makes it so hard to breathe. While Violet Essential Oil is not a potent expectorant (softens the mucus), it can be combined with a stronger one to create an effective cold-fighting blend. I recommend pairing it with Cajeput or Clove Bud to get the job done!
Violet Essential Oil is non-addictive, and there appear to be no long term effects of using it (at safe dosages).
 Cons:
Violet Essential Oil (Leaf or Flower) is considered to be universally safe, non-toxic, and non-sensitizing, provided you got the oil from a reputable source and know exactly what is in it.
As with other essential oils, Violet Essential Oil should not be taken internally and should only be applied to the skin at the recommended carrier oil dilution or by adding a few drops to your bath water.
Please do a small skin test to ensure you are not allergic before using Violet Essential Oil on the regular.
Jasmine Absolute
Jasmine Absolute is one of the most costly, expensive, marked up oils you can potentially buy. This is because it takes 3.6 million flowers just to make one pound of Jasmine Absolute Oil.
There are several artificial fragrance oils for the scent (which you can purchase even at Whole Foods) that are only a fraction of the cost, but have none of the benefits. This is one of the safest, but also most useful, oils on the aromatherapy market and the scent truly is unforgettable.
Pros:
It’s a very potent aphrodisiac! Mix this oil with some Blood Orange and Ylang Ylang, and prepare to have a steamy, passionate night of love-making. Not only does the scent carry some seductive qualities, but Jasmine Absolute can be used to aid with sexual problems like impotence and premature ejaculation.
Restore your dry or dehydrated skin to its natural radiance! Dry skin, dehydrated skin, eczema, or dermatitis can be treated with Jasmine Absolute. However, it’s important to note that you should not apply Jasmine Absolute to open wounds.
Regulate your menstruation or labor pains! Jasmine Absolute is a strong emmenagogue, which means it stimulates menses. This can be used to speed up a period that hasn’t yet arrived, as well as reduce cramping by having more material flush out of your uterus at once. Some studies indicate that it can be beneficial during childbirth, as it strengthens contractions and promotes breast milk flow.
Treat spasms! Coughs, cramps, and muscle spasms don’t stand a chance against Jasmine Absolute.
Banish negativity and boost your spirit! The smell of jasmine brings with it feelings of joy, positivity, and confidence. Emotions like guilt, shame, stress, and grief melt away; leaving you with a calm, peaceful mind that’s ready to take on anything.
Cons:
Jasmine Absolute Oil is considered to be universally safe, non-sensitizing, non-toxic, and a non-irritant (though my sister gets migraines from the artificial fragrance oil). That said, do not use the oil if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
You should also never orally ingest an essential oil. Put Jasmine Absolute in a diffuser or on your skin with a carrier oil. Just remember to use it in moderation as going overboard might interfere with your concentration by “relaxing” you a little too much.
Lavender Essential Oil
Pros: Lavender is one of your best friends when it comes to restlessness, insomnia, anxiety, and depression. It’s also great for loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, gas, and a fussy stomach. It’s also remarkable for pain relief in cases where you’re troubled by migraines, toothaches, sprains, nerve pain, and joint pain.
Some folks even apply Lavender Essential Oil to the skin for hair loss and pain.
Cons:
Lavender has also been shown to slow down the central nervous system when used on the regular. If you plan to go under for surgery or anything else with anesthesia, please avoid using Lavender Essential Oil two weeks ahead of the scheduled procedure.
Lavender should not be used by prepubescent and pubescent boys, as it can warp certain hormonal reactions and greatly increase risk for gynecomastia (male breast growth).
If you are taking a sedative, adding Lavender Essential Oil to the mix may create too much drowsiness. Exercise caution!
Lily of the Valley Essential Oil
Lily of the Valley is a familiar scent, as most western weddings and funerals call for it in traditional bouquets. If you’ve attended a western wedding or funeral, chances are you’re familiar with this lily’s slightly grassy and overpoweringly floral scent.
In the novel version of The Handmaid’s Tale, Offred writes that Serena Joy (the Wife in her household) smelled of Lily of the Valley and so did most of the house. She went on to add that she never had been a fan of the smell, because it reminded her of those cheap lotions and bath sets kids would get their mothers for Mothers Day when they had no idea what else to buy for them.
Pros:
Regulate Your Heart Rate! Lily of the Valley’s primary benefit comes from its ability to regulate heart rate. It reduces strain and irritability of the myocardium without increasing the amount of oxygen required by the heart. It’s been used since medieval times (even favored over foxglove) and contains several good-for-you cardiac glycocides. They’re released slowly, which means they pose little damage to the kidneys if the dose isn’t overpowering.
Treat Burns and Prevent Scars! An ointment made from the plant roots or essential oil can be made to reduce the impact of burns and other fresh scars.
Relieve Depression! A medieval remedy for melancholia called for mixing Lily of the Valley with Black Pepper and Lavender, then applying it to the forehead and back of the neck. Just be sure to dilute your oils!
Strengthen Contractions! In the past, Lily of the Valley has been used to boost weak contractions during childbirth.
Cons:
First and foremost, do not ingest Lily of the Valley (fragrance or     essential oil) without express permission from a physician and qualified herbalist.
If you use quinidine, digoxin, calcium salts, saluretics, or glucocorticoids, do not attempt to make this bath bomb as Lily of the Valley may enhance the side effects of these drugs. This is no small laughing matter. That     could kill you!

Magnolia Fragrance Oil
Brambleberry (the company behind the incredibly useful Soapqueen blog) has a slew of fragrance oils with scents you’d never imagine. They even have a leather smell!
The magnolia fragrance oil smells just like a fresh magnolia flower and made me think of the big beautiful tree in front of my house.
Note: This is a fragrance oil, meaning at least part of the oil was artificially manufactured. If you have an allergy or experience headaches with commercially scented products (think Bath and Body Works), you will want to exercise caution with fragrance oils. Some (like in my sister’s case, anything with artificial vanilla) may mess you up, while others (like Lily of the Valley, again, in her case) might not.

B. Perry Studios Cocoa Butter Body Scrub Review
Tumblr media
Here it is, folks: the best sugar scrub on the planet. I’ve tried an awful lot of sugar scrubs, and I have a lot of favorite brands and formulas (Moonalisa’s Scrubby Scrubs and Haunt’s Sugar Polish are high on the list), but this one, in my humble opinion, is the best. It is a little grainy (but not too grainy) and a little oily (but not too oily), making for a good, thorough, moisturizing scrub. The texture is not too firm or too loose—it’s just right for grabbing the perfect amount and maintaining control as you work it over the skin (it doesn’t slide through the cracks of your fingers or clump up stiffly). I’ve included some photos of the texture, and then onwards to the scent reviews!

Cinnabar
Scent description: Honeyed buttercream veined with streaks of cinnamon bark and nutmeg, and pools of oppoponax and opium
This is a rich, warm, woody scent that is perfect for cold nights. It’s a beautiful scent. I’m sensitive to cinnamon, but here it is perfect. It does smell more like bark, with the rich aroma of cinnamon but without an overload of spice. The honeyed buttercream is mild, sweetening the spices and woods, but not overwhelming them. Gorgeous! Luxe, exotic, and sophisticated.
Citrine
Scent description: Bright summer citrus - bergamot, grapefruit, lemon - with green notes of tomato leaf and cucumber, over earthy oud wood
This is a gorgeous, uplifting citrus scent. Just smelling it makes me happy. It’s surprisingly creamy, and just a touch tart. The tomato leaf, cucumber, and oud actually seem to smooth out the acidity of the citrus and round this out into a sunny, happy scent. The citrus almost smells like yuzu to me, creamy and a touch gourmand and exotic. I love this one so much!
Mother of Pearl
Scent description: Creamy coconut milk, soft swirls of salt air, and iridescent paperwhites
This scrub is so beautiful! It’s the prettiest iridescent pearl color (photo below!). The scent is gorgeous as well. Anytime I see a floral/coconut/ocean blend I have to have it, and Brooke has made some beautiful oceanic floral scents over the years. This one is rich and creamy. The florals are gentle and don’t take over, in spite of being of the heady white variety. They are waxy, lush, and realistic. The coconut milk lends a creamy, tropical element, but is not overly coconutty. The salt air freshens the scent up a bit, smelling like sea breeze over clean, floral-kissed skin. ❤️

The following two scrubs were made in collaboration with Julia of Arcana Wildcraft. It’s my understanding that Julia crafted the perfume oils that were used to scent the scrubs.
Celestite
Scent description: Delicate iris, lavender, violet, orris root, confectioner’s sugar, vanilla bean creme, and white musk
This scent is super hard to describe. It’s sweet, soft, delicate, and comforting. It smells like its color—a milky, glistening grey-blue lilac. It’s surprisingly not overly floral, in spite of all of the floral notes. It’s like floral-scented (violet and iris) stiff cake icing (not like a buttercream). It’s the type of icing that would decorate little Victorian tea cakes or petit fours adorned with tiny iced violets. It’s lovely and comforting, and I’m happy to have this and the perfume oil as well.
Rhodochrosite
Scent description: Fragrant Monoi de Tahiti with pink lemonade, citron, fresh gingerroot, and pink labdanum
Julia and Brooke both do wonderful things with Monoi and tropical scents in general, so ordering this scrub and the matching perfume oil was a no-brainer. This is a gorgeous, fresh tropical scent. This is the scent of enjoying a tall, chilled glass of pink lemonade with a garnish of fresh, grated ginger and a beautiful, waxy Monoi bloom behind your ear. The ginger is not sharp or overpowering, but it is very present.
Brooke’s scrubs, soaps, perfume oil, and skincare products (which I am eager to try!) are available for your perusal and purchase at https://www.bperrystudios.com
