I decided to redraw some of my old Lantern ocs. Specifically my Indigo, Red, and Violet. Indigo is my insert in Injustice/Mortal Kombat, Red is in Young Justice, and Violet is in Teen Titans.

Had to redesign the Pink Lantern symbol.
It's inspired by [this paper lantern] in shape. It gives it a heart shape and makes it look like a lantern to better fit the rest of the lantern logos. (red looks like a flashlight lol)
A neat concept I have for the Pink Lanterns is that like.. They're all just called Pink/Violet Lanterns, however, Carol defected and encouraged some others to defect as well from the Pink Corps and created their own little sub corps, the Star Sapphires, and as a result, the symbol on the ring and their suits changed to the official DC design as it looks like the explosion of a lantern. It would be cool to see Carol's defecting cause the lantern symbol on her ring "burst" with light and become what DC has. It would be.. symbolic--
jokes aside, I'm quite proud of this although some lines could be more uniform and thicker, I don't have any program to make proper vectors to do that.

In the DC Universe, there are ten known emotional energies that can be channeled into a power source for Lantern Rings. The wielder of these rings are assembled into Corps, and come into conflict with one another often. This is a list of all the currently known energies and their associated Corp.
Red: the energy of rage. From righteous fury, to mindless bloodlust, all fall under the red light of rage. The Red Lanterns are led by Atrocitus, and based on the hellish world of Ysmault. Weilders of the red light boast incredible strength, and a breath weapon that can break most other constructs.
Orange: the energy of greed. The most secretive and lonely Corp, the only member is the insane Larfleeze. The orange lantern can create constructs of any foe the ring has defeated, and there have been many who have fallen to it.
Yellow: the energy of fear. Those who join the yellow Sinestro Corp are masters of sewing fear into those around them, bringing those fears to life with their constructs. The Sinestro Corp is, of course, led by Sinestro, and based out of the planet Qward in the antimatter universe.
Green: the energy of willpower. The most well-known of all the Corps, the green lantern insignia is a symbol for good across the galaxy. They are also among the most numerous, boasting numbers in the thousands. The Corp is led by the Guardians from the planet Oa, and is the most well documented of the colors here.
Blue: the energy of hope. One of the smaller Corps, but by no means weak. The Blue Lanterns are an oddity in that they cannot create energy constructs like the others, but this is made up for by multiplying the strength of nearby Green Lanterns, and by depowering nearby Red Lanterns. They are led by former guardians Ganthet and Sayd, and are based on the planet Odym.
Indigo: the energy of compassion. Unlike other Corps, the members do not wear the indigo lantern rings. In fact, they are not considered a Corp: the indigo tribe is a group of wanderers on the planet Nok, who use their lantern rings as the bindings for the galaxy's greatest sociopaths to rehabilitate them.
Violet: the energy of love. The Star Sapphire Corp used to be a single vessel for a powerful parasitic crystal, but has since grown to an elite group of female warriors. To become a Star Sapphire, one must have loved another and have that love spurned. The Corp is based on Zameron, it's crystals altered by the Zamerons to give lantern powers to its wielder.
White: the energy of life. The White Light is a rare occurrence, embodying the entire emotional spectrum, and only appears in times of great need. The power of a White Lantern is far greater than any other Lantern, but comes at a cost; the White Light has a will of its own, and will subjugate the personality of its bearer until it's will is fulfilled.
Black: the energy of death. During the Sinestro war, the Guardians lifted the life lock on the green lantern rings, allowing them to kill their opponents. This fulfilled the an ancient prophecy, and allowed the Black Lantern Ring to emerge from the Green Lantern Power Battery on Oa. It found its host in the recently deceased William Hand, who began raising an army of Black Lantern Zombies to feast on the emotions of the living.
Ultraviolet: the energy of the unseen emotions. The Ultraviolet Lantern Corp is the hand of Umbrax, a sentient star that possesses and controls all members of the Corp (save a few notable exceptions). It feeds off the unseen emotions, the surpressed and hidden emotions in the day-to-day that all life exhibits.

Once again, this is Ember (by mah bestie @spoilercreati)! In this instance, we get a glimpse into a Multiverse in which Ember has been initiated into my favorite Lantern Corps, the Star Sapphires! Rly all I did was just change elements of Ember's costume to give it that Star Sapphire vibe, and I gotta say, they are rockin' that look! Super cute... as usual. :3

This is a remake of my first star sapphire oc I made a few years ago. I changed her a lot but I like her way better now and I actually have drawing equipment instead of the ol fingers on a broken phone screen thing.

I want Damian to be a Star Sapphire (Violet Lantern). They represent love so I feel like it can be a full cycle of his character development.
I vaguely remember Damian being referred to as the Demon's Heart but I can't remember what comic or panel.

Lantern Corps Entity transparency trick master post
I had a lot of fun doing transparent ghost pics for October so I wanted to do another series of something.
I have all the lantern symbols from making sparkly gifs awhile back so I decided to the DC lantern corps.
I thought it'd be really simple to just get a pic of each lanterns power battery and have a transparent entity behind them.
Turns out it's a lot harder then I thought to get clean images so I spent ages cleaning up the entities so I could use them.
Sorry about the spam but I wanted to get them all up and posted since I'm finally done them.

AU!Killer Moth's Apprentice: Her mother Mosura Needham aka White Widow was born a female humanoid Gigamoth from Planet Titanus, she gave birth to fraternal twins named Eric Leo Needham aka Battra | Black Spider and Catherine Lea Walker aka Mothra | Kitten Moth. Her father Drury Walker divorced his lover and took his daughter while his ex wife took their son with her, both parents are most wanted criminals during that time. Eric was part of the Shadows and Catherine was part of the Incursion when she got enrolled into Queen Bee's Hive Academy for Villain Kids.
AU!Star Sapphire: Kitten Walker was jealous to the point of losing her sanity when she saw her crush with another girl and getting his rejection all over again till Valentine's Day. Knowing that her crush is actually a hero, she was always targeting the hero's girlfriend and lose her fight against the said heroine. She found a bright shooting star of glowing violet light coming towards her favorite and caught the Power Ring of Love from Star Sapphire Corps with her bare hands, which led to her predatory obsession for both boys to become much stronger than ever before when she put on the ring and magically transforms into Nova.
I leave you fans and followers to decide.
Option one was inspired by Gigamoth, Battra, Mothra, and her twin children Leo and Lea.
Option two was from Deviantart drawings and concepts of Kitten Walker as an official villainous member of the Star Sapphire Corps.
Comment down and vote.

Fear can go both ways, the emotions are raw, they are like a source of power and as such can be used and be molded by their wielder. For example The Zamarons harnessed and distorted the power of love (violet in the spectrum), the way that emotion is used in its earlier depictions is obsessive, overly sexual and destructive. Later they would explore that energy in more mature ways and the Violet color becomes a force for good. The emotions can be very hard to control and properly use, they are like forces of nature and can be all-consuming and unbearably intense. I think that's why the controlling nature of Sinestro and his interpretation of Fear gave him so much control over the yellow energy, for him it's about inflicting fear to build order, but that is not necessarily the only possibility to approach and harness the yellow energy. Fear might give you a reason to fight, and you can act because of it, like with Soranik Natu, fear might also be a force so strong in your life that you learned to live with it, not exactly overcoming it, but acting despite of it, like was the case with Jessica Cruz.
That's why I was one of the dozen people in this world who thought it was actually interesting and not necessarily a bad thing to turn Jessica into a yellow lantern... As someone with generalized anxiety, of all the lanterns I identify with her the most, and for someone to learn to live with fear is very different than to overcome it, control it. It's less about getting over your fears and more about managing it, organizing it, using it to propel you forward and not stagnate. Fear on itself is not a necessarily bad thing, it is a survival instinct. I made peace with my fear, we are not enemies anymore, they are just this raw part of my life that can bring me down if I'm not careful, but it also something that we needed as a species to survive. I'm 100% sure I would be a yellow lantern, no doubts about it. Your relationship with fear might be different from Sinestro's take, but it's still valid
You know... sometimes in fiction we see characters that cast curses that will not only affect their enemy, but also their sons and daughters, future generations, or they will destroy a whole city for despising a single person (the christian old testament god does it all the time), and I often think "that's an overreaction, innocent people will suffer", but honestly, when people are mean to my mother or sisters in real life, unnecessarily mean, figures of some power mistreating others I love, I too would destroy their families to claim my vengeance, I too would burn their cities to the ground, disregarding the innocent blood spilled, I don't care for your newborn babies you don't get to be rude to my mom or sisters and go unpunished
