your pinned poet reminded me. in my high school history class when we learned about the colonisation of india we had a bunch of classes about practices like burning widows and how when the english came they stopped that :D and also built a railroad :D. tbf its been a decade since them classes so MAYBE im misremembering how much we studied how evil colonisation is but isn't that crazy. teaching 11 yr olds sometimes imperialism brings about good things :D like railroads

at this point I'll take colonisation over being ruled by the bjp at least the goras let us eat meat
