The moon was gone. Something just as old had come to play. You could smell it on the never ending rain. Each clap of thunder and bolt of lightning heralding the return of something awful.

The train was safe from the prying eyes of the moon god, but the rain slid easily between its metal bones. Small droplets becoming a deluge as the storm seemed to focus on the rusting engine.

You were thankful for the men at your side. Marcoh was quiet but determined, waving off your apologies as he carried you deeper through the forest. Tanaka had been just as quiet initially, but his sharp gaze and steady voice was becoming a comfort against the never ending howling of the storm.

The forest was changing around you. Each step taking your small group deeper into a heaving beast. It twisted and swelled around you, the simple act of blinking seeming to make new paths appear. The trees felt more alive and seemed to be watching. More than once you heard the shifting of something large, like dry scales against bark. You hoped the others were safe. Perhaps the city was faring better against the storm.

Back on my bullshit with MORE AU ideas lmaooo. Also love this trio so much.

About the lyrics of VINUSHKA and UROBOROS

Kyo: (...) What's in the lyrics is also not the hatred or loathing that was mentioned earlier, but the open world seen from the bottom. Even the same sky, I think it looks and feels different when you look at it from the plain, and from low down at the bottom. What Kyo of DIR EN GREY wants to do is to look at the sky from the bottom. And a sense of aftertaste.

Kyo: However, there are no open words in the lyrics, just full of despair and anger, but when I finish listening to it, strangely, I don't feel a sense of despair. Although it wasn't written directly in words, it left an impression of great positivity and strength.

A little write up I did last night about Vinushka

Logic's words in Ending A aren't necessarily to be taken at face-value. She's like The God of Fear and Hunger; killing as an act of mercy. Only this time it's killing a person's individual connection to the physical world.

In the Unedited version of Vinushka's Bible, Enki ends with: "For now, it's best to exploit nature while we still can."

In the document Telelectroscope and Logic, it reads, "Ultimately people will begin to shun personal contact, preferring to interact with each other via machine technology. People will rather stay in the world created by our shared consciousness. The logic is designed so that each individual human in the system will affect the surrounding world."

On Orange's art portfolio tumblr, he shows creative contributions to environmental activism. He has also been noted to talk positively of some environmentalism and ecologism ideas.

If Logic stands for the opposite of what Orange believes, Enki's words can be a cynical satire of what happens when mankind depends too much on its creation, at the cost of destroying nature.

Just as The God of Fear and Hunger pushed mankind into preventing their fears / hungers, Logic can be here to push mankind into preventing their dependencies.
