Let's make a Patchwork Witch Hat, using a bit of this video, and reviewing the process from Parts 1 and 2 of this project!

It's that time again. It's October! When the sky starts to get a bit more rainy, the leaves begin to turn color, and the ghosties, ghouls, and goblins start coming out to play.

You can sew this by machine, or by hand. By machine is ideal.

This video goes through the addendum to the materials list, and the "Dark" version of this hat.

We have some very patched up Frankenstein of cursed doll vibes and a few pointers for where in the process each part of the video takes place, so you can see that this process has a lot of versatility to make it your own style.

Successfully ironed-on this vintage Jimmy Carter patch. I used a Richardson “low-pro 115 trucker” hat and Singer fusing web to complete this project. In addition, I used a little craft glue to keep the fusing web attached to the patch then trimmed the excess web once the glue had dried. I draped a kitchen towel over the patch, rested the hat on my knee and rolled the iron over the cloth, checking constantly to make I wasn’t ruining the patch. I tucked additional fusing web under the patch where needed and continued ironing until satisfied.
