trends i started in my FAME DR ✶
⋆ jewellery-on-shoes obsession — attaching pearl anklets and rhinestones to stilettos becomes the iiiiiit-girl move. suddenly, brands are releasing $2k “shoelry” collections.
⋆ oversized sunglasses indoors — paparazzi caught me wearing them inside a dimly lit museum, and now it’s the cool thing to do. everyone’s ignoring practicality.
⋆ “baroque chic” accessories — gold brooches, ornate headpieces, and rococo-inspired earrings. people laugh at first, then they’re hunting for dupes on etsy.
⋆ mixing perfumes for a “signature scent” — casually mentioning in an interview that i layer two perfumes, and suddenly the beauty world is obsessed with custom scents and “the secret blend.” especially, which ones do iiiiiiiiii layer ?
⋆ cigarette pants and ballet flats — revived audrey hepburn energy with sleek cigarette pants and bow-adorned ballet flats. now everyone BETTER b ditching chunky sneakers for a dainty, parisian silhouette.
⋆ satin ribbon hair ties — those messy buns? always secured with a satin ribbon. it's romantic, elegant, and everyone’s diy-ing their own version with scraps from fabric stores.
⋆ mini vintage cameras as accessories — spotted on red carpets with tiny vintage camera. everyone assumed it was just an accessory until they found out it was actually used for candids. now polaroid and leica are back in demand.
⋆ “rockstar girlfriend” necklaces — thin silver chains layered with random charms (keys, hearts, vintage lockets) defined my signature look. pinterest boards were FILLED with dupes.
⋆ sheer socks with kitten heels — socks with heels? made it happen. especially sheer ones with lace details. fashion mags said "unexpectedly elegant."
⋆ satin headscarves as neck ties — tied printed satin scarves around the neck instead of my head. accessory of the year ♡
⋆ “micro-birkin" bags — yes, i actually used a micro-sized birkin bag that couldn’t hold anything practical. kar-jenner cult influencers followed suit, proving luxury > logic.
⋆ linen dresses in winter — wore a billowing cream linen dress with a structured coat and knee-high boots during a snowstorm in prague. people said i’d freeze !!! style first.
⋆ canvas tote bags as luxury accessories —casually swapped my kelly or dior bag for an oversized tote. sustainable totes became THE eco-luxury flex.
⋆ single pearl necklaces — instead of chunky chains, simplicity was revived—a single oversized pearl strung on a dainty silver chain.
⋆ sewn-in hair ribbons — debuted loose curls with tiny silk ribbons sewn throughout my hair for my cinderella film premiere. every hairstylist tried to replicate the weird fairy-core vibe.
⋆ pencil skirts with unexpected flats — forget heels—pair a sleek pencil skirt with mary janes and ankle socks. suddenly, workwear got a quirky, feminine up-up-and-i-mean-upgrade.
⋆ bow-adorned outerwear — tailored trench coats or wool coats with oversized bow details at the back became my true winter staple. paris streets were flooded with DIY versions within weeks. as they should.
⋆ hair accessories in low buns — spotted leaving a café with a low bun secured by a pearl comb instead of a boring clip. elegant, effortless, and SO yours truly.
⋆ long coats dragging the floor — maxi coats with theeeeee most dramatic trailing hemlines became my signature. bonus point if its a (faux) fur.
⋆ tiny velvet pillbox hats — short-lived, mostly because i was dating thé jack schlossberg at the time (it’s a….long story). think '60s jackie kennedy vibes but glamorous. paired with a fitted vivienne westwood blazer dress, and suddenly bridal shops started stocking mini hats.
⋆ silk slip dresses over blouses — layering floral or neutral-toned silk slip dresses over thin long-sleeved blouses or turtlenecks. theeeeee ultimate 'modern renaissance muse' energy.
⋆ ‘golden age' red lipstick — a universally flattering deep, vintage red lipstick marketed as “golden hour in a tube.” suddenly, it’s the only lip colour anyone wants.
⋆ stacked anklets — while everyone was layering bracelets, i made dainty anklets—pearls, gold chains, and charms—the next IT obsession.
⋆ ribbon chokers — “oh, but it was already—“ SHUSH.reviving this forgotten romantic accessory but in luxurious satin or velvet, perfect for layering with those "rockstar girlfriend" necklaces.
⋆ tapestry bags as clutches — carrying an ornate mini tapestry purse to an event. everyone scrambles to find vintage needlepoint bags as if their lives depend on it. my impact, guys……
⋆ brocade boots — brocade boots in gold or ruby tones paired with flowing linen dresses that look like they came from the 60s. insta inspo central.
⋆ watercolour manicures — nails painted like soft watercolour gradients in muted tones—dreamy, romantic, and oh-so delicate. hailey bieber…move over. to the side, a bit more.
⋆ crystal-studded ribbons — attaching mini crystals to ribbons in my hair, creating a celestial effect.

FASHION CREDITS: JAZZ & PIANO SHOW 4.0 PART I
Lady Gaga made a triumphant return to Las Vegas where she'll be staying until July to complete another round of her highly sought-after Jazz & Piano residency shows! And of course, she brought a whole new batch of costumes styled by Sandra Amador and Tom Eerebout along with her.
First, we‘re hopping onto our virtual plane where I‘ll be taking you to Marbella, Spain to once again meet with young fashion designer Adrián Manceras who‘s kind enough to let us take a look in his atelier where he crafted Gaga‘s opening number: a fabulous cocktail dress showered in champagne sequins, finest crystals and delicate fringe trimmings!
I can‘t help but notice how Gaga sticks to the same designer when it comes to the opening number‘s look. From headpiece down to the shoes. Yet, she changes the design every time she comes back to Vegas.
Here, she‘s donning yet another insane showgirl-inspired headdress with turkey feathers and Swarovski crystals by the ever-so talented Arturo Rios who sent me this image JUST for your eyes!
The Italian-American entertainer topped her look off with a new custom pair of Laruicci crystal statement earrings
Her favorite Jimmy Choo metallic silver Anouk stiletto pumps provided the finishing touches.
The choice of purple was as unexpected as the combination of sequins, feathers (provided by Mother Plucker Feather Company), and PVC. Yet, this look struck me the most, standing out in a sea of bold fashion statements!
Delving into La Maison Gaga reveals an intriguing history behind her glamorous wardrobe. LA-based designer Michael Costello has been crafting stunning caftans for Gaga for a decade. His journey with her began in 2014 when he designed a sequined piece similar to this one for her "Cheek to Cheek! Live" performance . This collaboration marked the start of a creative partnership that has since produced numerous iconic looks, each more dazzling than the last.
Michael also collaborated with Gladys Tamez Millinery on the halo-like black feather pillbox headpiece!
New York City-based heritage jewelry brand A.JAFFE created some of the earrings, including these teardrop stunners!
Gaga surprised her audience last night with a special rendition of "Americano". It‘s been 12 years since she performed that song!
For this act of the show, Perry Meek whipped out a stunning dress even Jessica Rabbit wouldn't pass upon.
Crafted from red crystal mesh, this dress features an off-the-shoulder hourglass silhouette, trimmed with red ostrich feathers. And it comes with a matching coat!
Her Harriet wired red feather fascinator is a hand-made piece by Carrie Jenkinson Millinery ($331.79), one of the UK's leading fashion milliners.
This white-gold crescent earring set surrounded by differently cut diamonds is another A.JAFFE design.
And I hope I’m not the only one who‘s drooling over these Jimmy Choo Romy crystal-encrusted red pumps.
Then, Gaga stuns on stage in a total Giorgio Armani look which comprises this plush black velvet strapless bustier column dress with crystal band embellishment ($4,777) and the Fall/Winter 2018 Privé Haute Couture pink ostrich feather coat she previously wore for her V Magazine 2019 cover!
Gaga's MUA Sarah Tanno-Stewart collaborated with Face Lace on all the differently designed crystal eye stickers for the residency!
LG debuted a bunch of new looks on her second night and the uber-talented Michael Costello had another wonder up his sleeve when he revealed this stunner to me yesterday morning - a custom sparkly black and gold sequin silk chiffon caftan with incorporated metal belt, shoulder pads, plunging neck and daring open sides, based on Michael's upcoming "DNA" collection!
He also created her matching custom ruched faux leather gloves and feather boa in collaboration with Mother Plucker Feather Company.
What's a good jazz stage look without a fun plummeted hat to top it off? British milliner Carrie Jenkinson Millinery made sure to exceed stagewear standards with her Spring/Summer 2024 Selina feather hat (£520).
Her go-to performance shoes: the timeless Jimmy Choo Anouk black patent leather pumps ($675).
Malaysian couture design house Rizman Ruzaini joined the game by crafting a show-stopping red chiffon cape dress showered in Swarovski crystals. Thanks so much for these exclusive behind-the-seams photos!
She also brought back her Jose & Maria Barrera vintage 1993 “Crystal Evening” runway crystal necklace.
Gaga gave us an epic performance of "La Vie En Rose", dressed in rose silk satin caftan-style layered dress with stripped coque feathers, custom-made for her by Ukrainian fashion label Santa Brands.
This look was completed with a bunch of stellar accessories, including the Carrie Jenkinson Millinery Spring/Summer 2024 Valencia exploding feather fascinator (£579)...
...the Swarovski Millenia octagon-cut crystal bib necklace...
... and the Cornelia James Melissa opera-length black velvet gloves (£160).
If the dress from the third night's opening seems familiar to you, it's because she's worn this custom Natali Germanotta x Debra Cooper blue sequin fringed cocktail number back in 2019 before!
This look got a black version of the aforementioned Arturo Rios turkey feather and Swarovski crystal headpiece.
It‘s Michael Costello‘s world and we‘re just living in it! His third custom dress for our girl's third night is this uuuuuultra sexy black satin number with one-shoulder caftan silhouette, trimmed with luxurious ostrich feathers by Mother Plucker Feather Company and featuring beaded appliqués on the shoulder and waist.
It was finished off with this vintage Philip Treacy 1996 black feather firework headpiece which has already been previously worn by Gaga back in London in 2015!
For the fourth show (June 29), LG brought out another Michael Costello x Mother Plucker Feather Company confection — a black-as-the-night satin caftan, showered in small jet crystals and trimmed with feathers.
It was only a matter of time before she brought out a fairytale headpiece by milliner Piers Atkinson.
From his archives, she opted for the Fall/Winter 2021 "Triptych" collection elevated black ostrich feather pompom fascinator with beaded tassels.

Now it’s on to the (many) accessories. First, we have the crown. Used some gold pleather to make the sections (and stitched in my fold lines). This plus a gathered pillow of red velvet went on a pillbox shape and then I went nuts with the bling.
Cassie for scale.

an incomplete list of hats gomez!master has been known to wear (some of these are canon, some of them i made up. go on, guess <3)
the classic berries-and-sticks hat
top hat (with a velvet band and generally accompanying a marlene dietrich tux; usually toward the end of her tenure, when she's exploring into other modes of femininity)
blue rubber duckie hat with yellow sash aka the best fashion decision to grace the modern world, not to mention practical for when you want to punctuate a monologue by removing the remains of a rubber duck from your sabre and crushing it in your glove.
dead rat hat. taxidermied rat with googly eyes. wide brimmed, naturally, to accommodate the rat. his name is henry. do you care for him? say yes.
jaunty little pillbox fascinator in a deep purple.
boater hat she stole off a gondolier in new new venice. whenever she wears it she is inclined to speak in an obnoxious italian accent.

I may not be interested in Vesa Romantically (I'm waaay too in love with Narciso to try another path 🥹, I will try but currently that beautiful old man has all my heart 🫶), I definitely wants to be besties with Vesa though 🥂. It would be great to have friends I can talk about fashion makeup and be chaotic with LOL, God knows I need some chaos and mayhem in my life 😹. So can I have a little scenario where MC and Vesa is going on a shopping spree just having absolute fun together? 🛍️ Thanks Niko 🫰
Aw, such a sweet message - Vesa wants to be your bestie, too! I'm very happ that you like her (and the beautiful old man Narciso, of course!) Your main character with Narciso as their partner and Vesa as their best friend would be a great team, I'm sure! And indeed, one needs some fashion, chaos, and mayhem from time to time, haha.
Here is the scenario:
The afternoon is dark already - practical during wintertime, when you want to visit the little shops and stores while being dressed for the weather at the same time. In summer, they would have closed long before darkness had had the time to set in.
Next to you, Vesa walks, a smile upon her red lips. She seems to be in a chipper mood; she had been looking forward to spend time with you, just the two of you together, and she certainly approved of your idea when you suggested a shopping spree. You're happy, too, both because of the fun activity, and because the friendship between Vesa and you keep growing and growing. You have become fast friends.
"Do you have any suggestions?" you ask. You have bought a little bit of this and a little bit of that already, and so has Vesa, but you have a feeling that the both of you are far from finished. "You know the city better than I, after all," you continue. "Do you have any favourite store that you would like to show me?"
"Oh, I do," she replies. "It's a fun one! They sell clothes, but it isn't as boringly trendy as many shops tend to be at the moment... Of course the people of the city are well dressed, but it becomes dull after a while, don't you think? Everyone looking the same?"
She's quite correct; you often see the same cuts and colours all over the city. As you talk, she shows you into a small store, your field of vision immediately filling with all sorts of fabrics. Lace, velvet, cotton, silk. Delicate fabrics and sturdy, practical ones.
"Good evening and welcome," the clerk says. "Is there anything in particular you're looking for, or are you merely soaking the sight in?"
"The latter, for now," you reply, dragging your fingers across the soft fabric of a quite eye-catching scarf.
"How about a new hat?" Vesa says. "Perhaps the need is more acute during the warmer seasons... shielding our skin and such... Yet, it's always good to be prepared, no?" She grins. "...or perhaps I simply want to see you in a variety of hats, for fun. Perhaps that's my ulterior motive." She immediately puts an almost comically wide-brimmed hat on the top of your head. Ulterior motives indeed. You snort.
"How do I look?"
"Gorgeous, of course." Vesa smirks, pointing to a mirror right behind you, and you almost snort again seeing your reflection. You're more hat than human right now.
"Perhaps I would be, if one could actually see me," you reply.
"Is this better?" She removes it, putting it back, exchanging it for a tall, classical top hat. "Oh, I think so myself! You're awfully dapper!"
"At least one can see my face now," you reply, smirking. At least this one doesn't look comical on you. You have some style. Yet, there are more hats to try out, and instead, you put it on Vesa's head, to see how she looks. Quite dapper, too. "Not bad," you conclude, nodding.
"Not too bad... You look better in it, but I don't look too bad either!"
You don't need to grab any hats for yourself; Vesa is all too eager to see you in every kind they got. A dainty little pillbox hat. One with an almost vulgar amount of lace, that manages to be surprisingly pretty even so. A feathery headpiece, not looking too unlike Vesa's own style. Colourful hats, and more plain and discreet ones. You try them on, and she tries them on; exchanging both laughs and admiring gazes. The clerk seems quite patient - they must be used to people doing this. Or perhaps they're simply used to Vesa, seeing as she seems to be a rather regular customer.
It takes a while, but eventually you settle for a new hat - you simply couldn't leave the store without buying anything, and that one flattered your face greatly - and Vesa for yet another headpiece. A fun afternoon indeed, and even still, the two of you are far from finished.
