ᯓ helping vinnie in the garage, your knowledge, and skills with cars over the years come to surface, unveiling a secret you'd kept hidden.

the soft clanking and muttered curses drifting from the garage pull you away from your mindless scrolling on your phone. you glance at the clock, noticing it's past midnight already. vinnie told you he'd be done working on his car by now but it seems he's hit another snag in repairs.
sighing, you slide off the couch and pad down the hallway. vinnie's bent over the open hood distractedly turning a wrench, smears of grease decorating his gray tank top and forearms in a way that makes your heart flutter. you admire his toned physique for a moment, always loving when he gets hands on.
"any luck, babe?" you ask softly, not wanting to startle him. vinnie jerks up with a grimace, rubbing the back of his neck. "ah, no not yet. this damn fuel pump is being a real pain in my ass. i've replaced every other part but it just won't prime right."
he kicks the tire in frustration earning a soft chuckle from you. striding over, you stand on your tiptoes to peer into the engine compartment. years spent helping your dad under the hoods of countless vehicles have given you more than a casual understanding.
"mind if i take a look?" you inquire, already sliding some gloves from the table beside you. vinnie gapes at you in disbelief. "i had no idea you knew about cars, babe," disbelief colors his tone but you can also detect a hint of thrill at discovering another layer to you.
"my dad always said it's a good skill for any woman to have. now scoot over, let me see what's going on." vinnie readily obliges, interest overtaking his previous annoyance as you step into his place. running an analytical eye, you soon spot the issue.
"ah, there's your problem. the fuel filter is badly clogged, no wonder it can't draw fuel properly. just needs a replacement, should clear it right up." you declare confidently, removing the filter to examine. vinnie peers over your shoulder in amazement.
"damn baby, you never cease to surprise me. i'm seriously so impressed right now, you've got me feeling all kinds of things." he purrs against your ear, hands sliding around your waist from behind. a shiver runs down your spine at his breath on your skin but you maintain focus, humming thoughtfully.
"flattery will get you everywhere mister, now hand me the socket wrench so i can get this fixed," you demand gently, holding a hand back expectantly. vinnie hurriedly passes you the tool, enthralled by your take-charge demeanor. within minutes the new filter is installed and you're reassembling the compartment.
flicking your gloves away, you turn to face vinnie's adoring gaze with a smile. "alright big man, give her a start, and let's see if that did the trick." he grins, pressing a swift kiss to your lips in thanks before jumping into the driver's seat.
the cars roars to life on the first try, rumbling smoothly without any hiccups. vinnie whoops loudly, leaning out the window with glee. "fuck baby, you're amazing! that was the perfect fix. come here, i gotta give you a proper reward."
giggling, you allow vinnie to tug you into his lap as he's sat in the driver's seat. his mouth latches onto your neck desperately, hands roaming your sides. "i'm so turned on by how smart and skilled you are. drives me crazy knowing you could probably rebuild this engine from scratch if you wanted," he growls between kisses.
heat pools low in your belly at his adoring praise. you slide his hands up under your shirt, craving his touch. "mhm, maybe i will someday just to watch you swoon. but for now..." twisting, you capture vinnie's lips hungrily.
he sighs into the kiss, deepening it instantly as his tongue delves between your parted lips. you rock against his firm thigh. vinnie groans, hands gripping your hips to guide your movements.
"fuck, i need you so bad. let's take this inside, i wanna worship your perfect body properly." he breathes heavily, pupils blown wide with want. you nod eagerly, already scrambling from his lap toward the house. vinnie follows, hastily towing you the rest of the way by your wrist.
as soon as the bedroom door clicks shut he's pinning you against it feverishly. your shirt disappears followed by his as he assaults your collarbone with rough kisses and nips. a gasp escapes your throat, grabbing handfuls of his hair to encourage the delicious treatment.
vinnie hikes your legs around his waist, lifting as if you weigh nothing at all. the hard line of his erection presses relentlessly against your core through the multiple layers still separating you, seeking friction. you grind down needily, desperate for more contact.
"slow down, baby, 'm not going anywhere," he pants, carrying you to the bed and laying you out like a feast. vinnie quickly divests the rest of your clothing, gazing in awe at your naked form beneath him.
"so perfect, and all mine." his worshipping words steal your breath, stomach clenching deliciously. when his mouth latches onto a pert nipple to suckle, you cry out loudly at the exquisite sensation.
vinnie takes his time lavishing each breast and curve of your body with wet kisses and love bites, mapping every sensitive spot until you're writhing and begging for more. finally his fingers dip to your dripping core, circling your swollen clit teasingly.
"fuck vinnie!" you babble, back arching off the mattress at his feather light touches. he chuckles darkly, sinking two digits into your core. "you take my fingers so well baby. bet you'll feel even better wrapped around my cock though, what do you think?"
a choked moan is your only response, eyes rolling back as he pumps his fingers leisurely. vinnie slowly adds a third, stretching your entrance deliciously full. his thumb rolls firm circles over your clit in time, driving you to the edge at an agonizing pace.
just as your orgasm begins to crest, he removes his hand entirely leaving you keening. vinnie stands to remove the last of his clothing, hard length jutting proudly from his slender hips. the sight alone could make you cum but he hasn't given permission yet.
crawling back over you, vinnie slots his cock against your dripping entrance and leans down to claim your mouth in a filthy kiss. "gonna make you feel so good, fuck you senseless until you can't remember your name. that's what you want isn't it?"
you whimper desperately, nodding fervently against his lips. "please, i want to feel you so deep inside me. use me as rough as you like, i'm all yours baby." his restraint snaps, and with one powerful thrust, he's fully seated to the hilt within your clenching heat.
you cry out loudly at the relentless stretch, walls spasming deliciously around his girth. vinnie groans deeply, staying locked in place to adjust before beginning a punishing rhythm of hard, deep strokes. his hips snap violently, balls slapping your swollen flesh with each impact.
all you can do is hold on for dear life, nails raking down his sweat slicked back as he fucks you into oblivion. vinnie pistons his hips with animalistic drives, pounding directly into your most sensitive spots unerringly. a constant litany of filthy praises tumble from his pretty lips, only spurring you nearer the edge.
"fuck you look gorgeous taking my cock sweet girl, your pussy was made for me i swear. gonna fill you up, have your belly swollen with my babies, you want that, baby? want me to come inside you while i fuck my name out of that beautiful mouth?"
the depraved imagery plunges you over at last, walls constricting vinnie's member in a vice grip. your orgasm tears through you with ruthless intensity, eyes rolling back as you scream his name. he chases his own release, fucking you through the aftershocks until spilling deep within your quivering channel with a guttural groan.
collapsing together in a sweaty heap, you trade sloppy kisses and whispered 'i love you's' while coming down from ecstasy. vinnie curls around your sated form protectively, pressing sweet affection into any skin he can reach.
"you never cease to amaze me, sweetheart. i love how full of surprises you are, constantly keeping me on my toes. and damn do i love when you take charge like that, so fucking hot." he sighs contentedly, nuzzling your hair.

pairing - vinnie hacker x female!reader
a/n: sorry, that i didn't do this faster, i just haven't had the time to write, but i wanted to say that i ABSOLUTELY adore this trend, and it's sooo cute. so i hope you will like this :)
"okay, i think that's enough," y/n disattached her lips from vinnie's forehead.
the couple had decided to do the trend that had been going on around tiktok. where the girl smudges her lipstick and her boy wipes it with his finger, while his face is pressed with visible kisses.
vinnie had suggested doing it.
the girl had thought about it a little bit, not sure if it would be a good idea. the comments would probably be filled with negative words about her, but in the end, she nodded her head.
the boy smiled, "you forgot the lips."
"ohhhhh, rigghttt," the girl's lip corners turned up, as she leaned in and pressed her lips to vinnie's.
he immediately rested his hand on her thigh, squeezing it a little, when she bit down softly on his lip. vinnie slowly continued to kiss her towards her jaw, as the girl tilted her head, while his hand moved up her thigh.
before things could go any further, she pulled away, moving his hand, "okayyyyy," she grabbed her phone and turned it on. y/n had already entered tiktok and the camera was already facing her.
she glanced at vinnie, "you ready?"
the boy nodded his head, while he gave her a small smile, that made her go warm.
she took her lipstick and pressed the button. as the sound started playing she applied the lipstick, that she accidentally smeared.
when she felt vinnie's hand on her skin, softly wiping her lipstick, she couldn't help but smile, and when y/n turned the camera and looked at him, her face went warm.
the way he was caressing her cheek, and the way he was looking at her lips... it made her feel weak. she could feel her heart starting to beat faster.
and when his eyes met her's she knew that the boy had noticed the way he had made her feel. vinnie leaned in, but the kiss wasn't captured on the camera, because the sound had ended.
"you okay?" y/n felt the smirk against her lips.
she laid down, as she pulled him closer to her, "shut up."
the comments after the video is posted:
user1: what am i doing wrong.
user2: the eyes never lie.
user3: THE WAY HE LOOKS AT HER.
user4: he doesn't even look happy.
user5: the way he smiles when he sees her blush. HE'S IN LOVEEEE.
user6: ew.
user7: her smile is gorgeous.

Four Years Ago
Vinnie and you had been together for two wonderful years, just starting out in the influencer industry. Nobody really knew you two were dating; it was something private, a decision both of you had made. People and fans knew you were both seeing someone, but they just didn't know who. Your relationship felt like a perfect fit, filled with love and understanding.
Today, as you come through the apartment doors, exhaustion is written all over your face after a long day of practicing your lines for your upcoming movie. The filming is in Hollywood, and you haven't figured out how to tell your beloved partner that maybe you should take a break while you're filming. After all, he had his days where he seemed busy too. To say that your relationship was perfect would be a lie; recently, both of you had been busy with your hectic schedules, barely having time for one another.
As you walk through the door of your shared apartment, Vinnie looks up upon hearing it open.
"Hi, love," he greets you with a smile.
"Hi, Mr. Hacker," you say, playfully using a new nickname.
Vinnie chuckles. "That's a new nickname. Not really your style to be calling me by nicknames," he adds.
He walks up to you and gently wraps his arms around your sides, but you pull back slightly. "Do you hate it?" you tease lightly.
"I never said that," he says, planting a kiss on your forehead. "So, what's on your mind today, my love?" he asks, seeing your hands fidget and sensing your distracted thoughts. He truly knew how to read you like an open book, understanding your every emotion.
"We need to talk," you say, slipping from his embrace. Vinnie's teasing expression fades into worry and concern.
"A talk? Is something wrong, love?" he asks.
"I feel like we're not on the same page in life as we used to be," you say, your voice tinged with concern.
Vinnie's expression becomes gentler. He lifts his hand to gently caress your face. "Oh, love... What makes you think that?"
"You've been pretty distant with band things and photoshoots," you explain, "and I guess we only see each other once or twice a week. None of us have even brought it up; it's like we don't care that our schedules mess our relationship up and we don't even try to fix it or talk about it. Every time we do see each other, we just act like we're some perfect couple, like nothing's tearing us apart beneath the surface."
Vinnie takes a deep breath and nods, understanding what you mean. "You're right... I've been distracted with band stuff and photoshoots. I never meant to make you feel like I was neglecting you. I'm so sorry," he apologizes sincerely, his voice quiet and gentle.
"It's fine," you reassure him. "I'm not saying stop chasing your dreams. Go for it. But what if we took a break?"
"A break? You mean from the relationship?" Vinnie's voice is barely a whisper, his expression one of heartbreak.
"Yeah..." you hesitate. "You know, maybe try things, chase our dreams."
Vinnie stands frozen, his wide eyes looking at you with disbelief. He clearly wasn't prepared for this conversation.
"You... want us to break up?" he asks, his voice cracking.
"Kinda," you admit. "Maybe you'll finally be the model or singer you want to be. Maybe your band will finally hit the top 100 charts, maybe even number one. And maybe, just maybe, I can be on TV."
Vinnie's expression falls even more, and his eyes plead with you. "But what about us? What about what we have? We're good together, aren't we?"
"We are, but the truth is we've been so distant from each other. We barely have enough time for this relationship," you explain. "I'm going to be in Hollywood for a while for my upcoming movie, and you're going to be in LA. Is it truly going to work?"
Vinnie's jaw clenches tightly in disappointment, tears welling up in his eyes. "But... I love you," he whispers quietly, almost like he wanted you to hear him but not at all at the same time.
"I thought... you loved me like I loved you," he continues, and now tears roll down his face. "But I guess I was wrong... I'm sorry I wasn't enough for you..."
"Vinnie, it's not like that, you know it," you say softly, trying to comfort him.
"I really don't," he chokes out, shaking his head. "How can you just throw away everything we had? What's wrong with me that you don't love me anymore?" He lifts his palms to his face and scrubs away his tears, though they keep spilling out in endless waterfalls.
"I never said I don't love you," you clarify, "I just don't think I can do long distance."
"So... this means I'll never get to hold you again? Or touch you? Or kiss you? Or hear your laughter and jokes that make my day?" Vinnie's voice cracks as he struggles to hold back his tears.
"I don't know, Vinnie," you admit, tears welling up in your own eyes, "I don't know what the future holds. I know because of this movie role, I'm going to be away for a long time."
Vinnie nods slowly, his eyes filled with a mixture of sorrow and acceptance. "Yeah... long distance is tough. I'm just scared of what happens if you... you know... find someone new while you're away?"
"If I come back and we both have the same feelings for one another, maybe we could be... maybe," you suggest tentatively.
He nods ever so slightly again. "I guess this is it then," he whispers, his voice cracking as he struggles to speak. "But... can we at least have one final kiss? To cherish this moment and keep it forever?"
"How about a hug? A kiss would feel too intimate, don't you think?" you suggest.
"Yeah... a hug," he chokes out. Vinnie steps forward and wraps his arms around you in a firm embrace. He buries his face in your hair, his whole body trembling as he fights away tears.
"I'm sorry," you say softly, tears streaming down your face.
"No, I'm the one who's sorry I wasn't what you needed," he whispers, his voice cracking once more. "I loved you so much, and I promise I always will. I hope you find everything you're looking for."
"I hope you do too," you whisper back.
He holds you tightly for a few more moments, the embrace feeling like a bittersweet mixture of love and pain.
Eventually, he releases you, his expression a mix of sadness and acceptance. "Goodbye, my love..."
"Bye, Vin," you say softly.
Vinnie slowly walks towards the door and opens it, pausing for a moment to look back at you one final time. His tear-filled eyes meet yours for a few seconds before he steps out the door, disappearing into the unknown.
Present Day
Four years had passed since you and Vinnie had gone your separate ways, but the memories of your time together still lingered like ghosts from the past. You found yourself at a lavish Hollywood party, surrounded by the elite and celebrities, trying to navigate through the crowd with Matt Sturniolo, your new boyfriend. Matt was introducing you to various people, his hand possessively on your back as you made your way through the crowd.
Amidst the glamorous chaos, you spotted a familiar face—the one you thought you'd never see again. Vinnie stood out among the Hollywood elite, his charismatic presence and undeniable good looks drawing attention wherever he went. He was surrounded by people, laughing at his jokes and eagerly listening to his stories. It was clear he was thriving in the industry.
As if sensing your gaze, Vinnie glanced up and briefly met your eyes. For a moment, time seemed to freeze as memories flooded your mind. But all too quickly, he tore his gaze away and continued chatting with his entourage, as if nothing had happened.
Matt brought you in front of Vinnie, and you had to muster all your strength to act as if this was your first time meeting. Your eyes locked onto Vinnie's, and you could see a flicker of recognition in his gaze, but he played along.
"Hey, nice to meet you," he said smoothly, offering a polite smile and extending his hand for a handshake.
You politely declined Vinnie's handshake, keeping your hand firmly clasped with Matt's as he introduced you as his girlfriend. Vinnie glanced at your intertwined hands, a subtle flicker of disappointment crossing his face before he quickly masked it with a neutral expression.
"Ah, got yourself a nice catch, Matt," Vinnie joked, his voice casual but his eyes betraying a hint of envy. He gave Matt's hand a firm shake before turning his attention to you. "Congratulations to you both."
As the conversation continued, Vinnie tried his best to maintain his composure, engaging in small talk with you both. But beneath the surface, he couldn't help but feel a pang of longing and regret. He had lost you, and now, seeing you happy with someone else hurt more than he had anticipated.
Matt turned to Vinnie and asked, "So, have you found yourself a special someone yet, Vinnie?"
Vinnie chuckled, his eyes twinkling with a hint of humor. "Oh, you know me, Matt, always the bachelor. Haven't found the right person to settle down with yet."
"Ever did?" Matt asked.
"Well, there was one person," Vinnie admitted, his voice quieter, the hint of a smile playing on his lips. "We had something special, but life took us down different paths. Sometimes, I wonder if what we had could've been something more."
"What happened?" Matt asked, as you looked away, clenching your hand tighter around Matt's.
"We both had dreams and aspirations," Vinnie explained, his expression tinged with a hint of sadness. "I was focused on my music career, and she wanted to pursue her dreams in Hollywood. We tried to make it work, but the distance and our conflicting schedules made it challenging. In the end, we had to make a choice to follow our own paths."
"So, did you find what you were searching for, and did you ever see her again?" Matt asked.
"After her, I've had a few relationships here and there, but none quite like ours," Vinnie mused. "As for her, our paths have crossed at a few parties or events over the years, but we've kept our distance. Maybe one day, fate will bring us back together."
"It was nice chatting with you both," Vinnie said, his tone laced with a hint of sorrow mixed with acceptance. "Enjoy the party."
Matt nodded in agreement, expressing his parting greetings as well, and gently led you away to find a quieter spot for that much-needed breather. As you walked away, Vinnie found himself lost in his thoughts, unable to shake off the bittersweet memories of what once was. He took a deep breath and pushed the past aside, plastering a smile on his face as he turned back to the party, trying to revel in the present instead.
The rest of the evening passed by in a blur for Vinnie, his mind preoccupied with the unexpected encounter. Seeing you with another man had stirred up a myriad of emotions within him, forcing him to confront the lingering feelings he still harbored deep down. He tried to engage in conversations and interactions, but his thoughts kept drifting back to you, the one who once loved him. As the party drew to a close, Vinnie felt a sense of relief mixed with a bittersweet tinge. He knew that seeing you tonight had only served to reopen old wounds. As he made his way out of the venue, he couldn't help but wonder if fate would ever bring the two of you together again.
Sitting on the steps in your black dress, you wondered what was taking Matt so long. He had told you to meet him outside, but he still hadn't appeared. You contemplated whether you should go back into the party and search for him, even though everyone appeared happy in front of you, things were going wrong inside their relationship. As you looked up from the steps, there he was, looking down at you—an old love.
"Hey," he greeted softly, his voice tinged with both warmth and hesitation. "Mind if I join you?"
"Go ahead," you replied, a hint of bitterness in your voice. "It's not like my boyfriend is anywhere, and it's not like the spot's reserved."
Vinnie let out a small chuckle at your remark, sensing the hint of bitterness in your words. He took a seat beside you on the steps, respectfully leaving a little space between you two as he gazed out at the cityscape before you.
"It's nice out here," he commented softly, before adding, "Not much of a party person, are you?"
"Never was, even with you," you replied, a wistful tone in your voice. "But neither were you."
Vinnie smiled softly, the corner of his lip curving up in a bittersweet smile. "You're right, I never was much of a party person," he admitted, his gaze distant as he reminisced about the past. "I guess some things never change. Neither of us was meant for the Hollywood spotlight."
"I don't know about you, but I look great on the big screen," you said, trying to inject some lightness into the conversation.
Vinnie chuckled and nodded, his eyes gleaming with pride and admiration. "No doubt about it," he agreed. "You shine bright like a star on the big screen. It suits you. I always knew you were destined for greatness."
"Even if it caused our relationship to end," you said quietly, your voice tinged with regret.
Vinnie's expression turned solemn as he nodded slowly. "Yeah, the industry can be demanding," he admitted. "It took a toll on our relationship, on both of us. We had different dreams, different paths. Sometimes, I wonder what would have been if we had chosen differently."
"Like normal people with ordinary jobs," you added, a wistful tone in your voice.
Vinnie let out a deep sigh and nodded. "Sometimes I miss those simpler days," he confessed, his voice tinged with a hint of nostalgia. "Just the two of us, living life without the fame and the busy schedules. It was simpler, I guess. But who knows, maybe things happen for a reason."
"Maybe," you said softly, not entirely convinced. "Though I'm surprised there's no lovely woman by your side tonight."
Vinnie chuckled, a sheepish smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Oh, I could have any woman I wanted," he joked, feigning confidence. "But maybe I'm just waiting for the right one to come along. Someone who appreciates the real me, not just the celebrity persona."
"You mean the anime nerd behind all that mystery," you teased, a hint of a smile playing on your lips.
Vinnie's laughter filled the air, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "You always knew me too well, didn't you?" he said, a hint of warmth in his voice. "Yeah, the big secret no one knows is that I'm just a regular anime nerd underneath the glitz and glamor."
"Wouldn't that be what we would have been doing right now, four years ago? Fighting over either Attack on Titan or Sailor Moon?" you mused.
Vinnie grinned wider, his eyes lighting up as the nostalgia washed over him. "Yeah, those endless debates over which anime is the best," he mused. "You and your love for Sailor Moon, and me passionately defending Attack on Titan. It was always a tie between us, wasn't it?"
"I don’t know, feel like I won most of those rounds," you said with a playful challenge.
Vinnie chuckled softly, his eyes gleaming with playful mischief. "Maybe you won a few, but I still hold my ground that Attack on Titan is the superior anime," he quipped, a hint of a challenge in his voice. "I mean, come on, the story, the characters, the action – it's just unbeatable!"
"Come on, like you didn't drool over Captain Levi every time he was on the screen," Vinnie teased.
"Levi Ackerman, huh? Can't blame me there," you admitted, a playful shrug. "He's a hot badass, for sure. But let's be real, even he couldn't steal me away from you."
The light-hearted mood shifted suddenly as Matt's voice interjected, "Steal who from who?" cutting through the conversation like a gust of cold wind. Vinnie turned to face Matt, a flicker of surprise crossing his features.
"Baby, what took you so long?" you asked Matt, kissing him on the cheek as he pulled you closer to him.
Vinnie watched as you kissed Matt, a whirlwind of emotions stirring within him. He forced a strained smile, his eyes betraying a hint of jealousy and longing hidden beneath the surface.
"So, what were you talking about?" Matt asked.
"Just catching up with Vinnie. After all, we did work on that one music piece," you interjected.
"Yeah, just catching up on the old times," Vinnie managed to say, his voice steady despite the turmoil inside. He cleared his throat, attempting to divert the conversation away from the awkward tension. "So, how's the industry treating you, Matt? Any exciting projects coming up?"
Matt talked about his YouTube channel and the one he shared with his triplet brothers, Nick and Chris, who appeared behind him. Chris gave you a pat on the shoulder, commenting on how lit the party was, joking that you'd be his sister-in-law soon if you kept up your relationship with his brother.
Vinnie nodded intently, listening to Matt's excitement about his growing success on YouTube. He managed a polite, encouraging smile despite the gnawing feeling of jealousy brewing within him. As Matt's brothers appeared behind him, their presence created an even more convoluted atmosphere, with Chris's comment about you being his future sister-in-law making things even more awkward.
Matt turned his head to you and Chris as he heard his comment and whispered, "Maybe one day, my love," kissing your cheek. But all you could think of at that moment was Vinnie as he stared at you. Matt's comment brought back memories for both of you, as "my love" was Vinnie's favorite nickname for you.
You remembered the first time he called you that name, back in high school. The wind was blowing hard, and the flowers had bloomed even though it was the first day of spring. You were supposed to meet at the botanical gardens for your first official date. As you tried to find where he was, a soft, comforting voice said, "Hi," tapping your shoulder and causing you to turn around. Before any word could come out of your mouth, he picked a leaf that had gotten stuck in your hair and spoke gently, "I think something got stuck in your hair, love." That was the first time anyone had called you that, and at that time, you really believed he would be the only one calling you it. Snapping out of your thoughts, you smiled softly at Matt to reassure him. Vinnie interrupted the moment, reminding Matt they were in the middle of a conversation.
"That's great to hear, man. I hope your channel keeps growing. You've got a long road ahead of you," Vinnie responded, his voice neutral despite the emotional turmoil roiling inside him. He tried to focus on the conversation, asking questions and engaging in small talk, but his thoughts kept circling back to you, the one who once loved him. As the conversation continued, Vinnie began to feel increasingly out of place, his presence becoming more of a hindrance than anything.
His mind raced, weighing the options for escape. Glancing around, he subtly scanned for a way out. Seeing an opportunity, Vinnie excused himself abruptly, offering a hasty excuse about finding the restroom or chatting with his manager—anything to leave this awkwardly tense situation.
"Take care Vin," you say as Vinnie passes by you once again.
"Thanks, you too," he replied, his voice carrying a hint of unresolved emotion as he walked away, leaving you to grapple with the memories and emotions that had resurfaced.

Getting ready for another one of those nights, you stopped to look out the window for a few seconds. It was raining outside, not hard enough to flood the streets of Savage, but enough to ruin any plans you had.
It would be an interesting attempt to ruin the night, but the universe definitely didn't know you and your friends when it came to a good mess.
Scott's message lit up your cell phone, he was waiting for a ride to the track and was counting on your help, you quickly answered and threw the device back on the bed, turning your attention to the mirror where you were finishing your makeup.
While you spent applying your lipstick, a single thought echoed in your mind, yes, all you could think about was whether he would be there and whether this clash would be as embarrassing as the last time. He had this power, he appeared with a presence that focused the attention of everyone around him, always with unruly golden hair, sparkling eyes like a precious stone and a mischievous smile that dismantled any posture.
There was nothing in the world that you hated more.
Vincent Hacker was your downfall, he smelled of risk, spread chaos and awakened within you the worst feelings anyone could feel. He was not only like a karma that you had to carry tied to your life since childhood, but he was your adversary, a pillar of the rival team.
The urban area of Savage was full as always, girls in short shorts and flags signaling the start of the first races of the night. In order, the race started with the youngest until the end of the night with the main race of the pillars.
Hacker and you, would compete together.
"Aren't you going to watch Scott's race, kitten?" his voice made you lock the glass with the alcoholic drink on your lips. Your eyes slowly turned until they rested on his, burning with classic evil, Hacker was exuding mockery. "I heard your team is short-handed today, it's a shame."
“I know he’s going to win anyway, it’s not like I’m a lucky charm.” You played against him, taking another sip of your drink, your eyes inadvertently flickering to the half-open shirt he was wearing, exposing his tattoos and muscles damp from the drizzle. “Save your regrets, Hacker, you’ll need them when I beat you again.”
“Then I need a good lucky charm, thank you for reminding me,” the hoarseness of his voice exhaled as he grabbed you by the waist and surprised you with a kiss. It was instinctive of you to wrap your arm around the back of his neck and continue the entanglement of your tongues.
His mouth tasted like mint candy with traces of marijuana, his tongue was soft and smooth as it glided over yours while his feet lifted you so that you were at the same height. Your hand roamed over his broad shoulders, defined by too much gym time, and mentally you cursed yourself for being so weak to give in to the charms of a declared scoundrel like that.
As the kiss grew more intense and Vinnie’s hands vacillated on your sides, that feeling of fury seemed to instantly corrupt you again. You knew he was worthless, dirty, sneaky and deceitful was the man who was pressing his legs against yours at the drinks table.
Anger opened your eyes and you pushed Vinnie away with an acidic bite of your tongue. Instead of a furious scowl, he smiled, wiping the edge of his lips as if the attack had felt more like a provocation to his shitty ego.
“Thanks for the luck, kitten,” Vinnie said as he winked and turned his back to go back to where everyone was gathered to watch the race.
Running for you is like jumping off a ledge without any protection, feeling the wind in your hair through the window of your purple Camaro as you speed down the damp track gives you more than just the feeling of freedom, it makes you feel alive. You adapt to the track as it adapts to you and your title as pillar of the fighter's team is not for nothing, your friends trust you with your drift victories and your ego is well fed thanks to your reputation.
But none of that is enough for you when you realize that you still feel incomplete as you grip your steering wheel and press the accelerator. His eyes in the car next to you seem to burn your skin, twist your insides and compromise your bone structure. Memories of childhood and everything you've experienced together at school and family parties, rare moments when seemed to take pity on the two of you and allowed a peaceful wave to grab you. There were times when these memory failures managed to overcome the bad feeling it had for him.
Hacker was your brother's best friend, you and Scott had a pact about the freedom to interact with anyone outside the door, but that never applied to your best friends, Vinnie being the worst of them.
So it's clear that it was easier for you to harbor hatred than to reveal something that no one else knew existed, no one but your secret.
At the first corner Vinnie looked at her through the window of his car, his Ferrari threatened scratching your car with every skid, but you were insistent when it came to getting what you wanted. There is only one lap left on the death track, the previous two were won by you and the last one would be no different, he would massage your ego with his huge hands that just imagining holding your steering wheel makes you sigh.
Loud music left your speaker, the smell of wet earth brought from the forest reserve invaded your nostrils like an orchestrated dance. Adrenaline pulsed through your veins and heated your blood like never before, you were so alive and hot that you felt in control to do anything.
With 2 km left to complete the circuit, you are hit by a thud and are forced to break immediately with a thunderous sound that causes your body to hit the steering wheel. Away from the crowd and where everyone watching the race was concentrated, you raised your arms in confusion, panting from the fear of almost hurting yourself, and when the smoke stopped on the dashboard your eyes couldn't believe what they were seeing.
Fury closed the expression on his face as he slammed the car door and marched with stiff steps towards the car that crossed the road in front of him, almost causing a serious accident.
“WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING, VINCENT?” shouted at the top of his lungs, hitting the bodywork of his car. The boy just put his head outside the window, showing a smile as if getting rid of it satisfied him.
“Preventing you from winning, don’t you see?”
“Are you unable to win cleanly and need to resort to cheating?” you laughed placing your hands on your hips, “I couldn’t expect anything less from someone like you, it’s not like honesty is always part of your game!”
Vinnie jumped out of the car, knocking the invisible dust off his palm, charm oozing from his victorious smile, if not for having won the match, for managing to make him fall from the jump he had been holding firm to all night.
“You could have really hurt me! All this for your stupid joke!” exasperated, moving his body away from any physical approach by hitting his chest with his fists. For a moment, fear truly gripped his entire body, no matter how much loved what running could offer without worrying about the risks. They did not cease to exist.
“Don’t touch me!”
“Do you know when I would allow something to hurt you, kitten?” Vinnie tilted his head and gave you a sweet look, slowly bringing one of his hands to your face, running his thumb across your cheek slowly. His touch remained the same. "Never."
“I don’t know what’s more pathetic, you or what comes out of your mouth when you can’t sustain your own words for more than 24 hours without getting confused by them!” You spat out acidity before pulling his hand away from your skin.
He was like that, and he didn't change. With beautiful words and a charming face, he negotiates and persuades until he gets what he wants and the next day they are nothing more than strangers who know each other in the same place. As much as you burned in his presence, you were fed up with him.
“If we’re not going to run anymore for today, then let’s go back to the party and pretend this ridiculous scene to get my attention didn’t happen.” puffing out your chest impetuously, you faced him and avoided his robust silhouette, but your steps were stopped when Vinnie pulled you by the arm, bringing your gaze back to his caramel-colored irises.
“I don’t care who wins this race. I don't care about the title. I don't care about the team. I don’t mind wrecking my car by throwing it in front of yours if it means I’m going to have your damn attention for a few minutes and stop treating me like I’m a worm!” he growled against your face with such intensity that the hot air of his breath went through yours. “I just want you to look at me, but really look! How he used to look at me when he saw me playing basketball on the court at his house, like when he saw me passing through the hallway at school or when we sneaked into the park!”
His words seemed to accumulate in a part of your brain.
“I just want to be yours again.”
“Don’t you think it’s a little late for that?” There was resentment in his voice, he could have claimed you even if it hurt his friendship with Scott, but he didn't want to.
“If it’s not today it will be tomorrow, if it’s not tomorrow it will be the day after tomorrow until I beat you, but don’t try to get it into my head that I’ll never have you again!”
Your heart began to beat with intense chimes close to your ear, not for a second did you stop looking at his agitated eyes, Vinnie didn't smell of alcohol, he was sober and conscious enough so that you didn't doubt the veracity of his outburst.
You felt your body change temperature, being so close to him was dangerous on the same level as it was attractive like a magnet. Slowly, Vinnie's nose moved over yours, his hands didn't let go of your face as if he was afraid of losing you.
All the self-sufficient and arrogant posture he adopted was lost there.
When your lips touched in another slow and eager kiss, your thoughts swept away that perverse feeling and transformed the fury into desire, you wanted him more than yesterday and even more than tomorrow, where they might not have another opportunity.
Your hands wandered over his shoulders and up to the back of his neck, where you stroked it with your thumb before sinking your fingers into the strands of golden hair. With an unexpected outburst, Vinnie surprised her when he lifted her body and wrapped her legs around his torso. Walking with you on his lap, he placed you on the hood of the car, wasting no time slowly navigating his hands over each part of your body.
It was not possible to let go of his swollen lips for even a minute, such was the need to have him. Hacker pulled his lips away from yours and dragged the moisture from his mouth across your face, burning every part he set on fire with the touch of his saliva. He curled up between your legs, you wanted to close them as soon as you felt the change in temperature, but Vinnie forced them to stay open.
“That’s right, love” he whispered, biting the tip of her ear in a deep voice, “Stay open for me, show me what you’ve got.”
A growl escaped your lips when he brushed his body against yours, you were wearing a skirt, and it rose with the movement, only the damp panties remaining that were revealing all your secrets to him. The main one was that you couldn't resist Vinnie Hacker.
You followed Vinnie down your body without leaving eye contact with his golden eyes. His big hands grabbed your thigh and with the pressure of his fingers he fit between your legs.
“I’ve been missing that view so much…” he smiles, making your body tilt upwards when his index finger pushes your panties aside, letting a subtle wind hit your pussy. “You can’t hide that you missed me too.”
You preferred to remain silent even though the torture of him walking his fingers between your labia was obvious, you didn't want to have to agree with every word, it seemed more like an outrage.
Vinnie was willing to prove otherwise and slipped two fingers inside, eliciting a deep and unexpected moan from her lips. “Oh my God” you groaned, feeling it slowly enter, enjoying your juice like a puddle.
“I’m sorry, I couldn’t understand what you said, dear” he revealed in an even hoarser voice, lowering his head little by little, placing kisses on your crotch.
“This feels so fucking good”
“You deserve all the good things I have to give you.”
If you weren't tossing and turning with pleasure, those words would occupy a space in your mind, but you didn't have time to process them because Vinnie mouthed your pussy as if his life depended on it. His tongue moved in a gradual rhythm and before your body could arch with delirium, he forced your legs onto the car's bodywork so that you wouldn't move out of position.
He was strong, terribly hot and to make matters worse: he knew how to do it in a way that you would never forget.
That was the Hacker effect, once he was inside you, it was impossible to escape.
“Fuck” you gasped.
Each suction of his tongue against your sensitive skin made you roll your eyes, his fingers navigated to the hem of your crop top and went up to your nipples, you stimulated them in a silent game, interrupted only by your moans at the rhythm in which Vinnie stuck his insides against you and sucked you at the same time.
It felt like too much, you were about to explode and your body was about to erupt with such an amount of sensations. Vinnie made good use of the space and didn't leave a single part of himself unattended.
As if he felt that you were close to orgasm he paused, savoring your taste with his tongue through his lips, he stared at you and pulled you by your leg until you pressed your body against his. He suddenly scared you by placing your face against the car and sticking your ass in the air.
Vinnie prepared your entrance with his fingers, you wanted him to make you his as quickly as possible as if the world was about to end. His dick wasn't at all generous, like him and as soon as he entered your moan joined his like a song waking up the entire road.
The moon illuminated them, each time he penetrated you increasing the pace and his waist hit your ass, you ignored the mix of pain and just focused on the absurd sensation of being fucked by that guy.
Hatred seemed combustible and the rivalry between you was like gunpowder and flame that even though you needed to avoid each other to avoid causing destruction, you insisted on coming together.
During the thrusts, Vinnie grabs his hair with his free hand and arches his body until he stands up. You're on your back, without taking him out of you and looking at him from the side while Hacker gets into a visceral rhythm.
“When we’re done, I hope you never look me in the face again!” You said during the gasps.
Vinnie smiled cheekily.
“Your wish is my command, kitten.”

DRUNK ON LOVE
you guys are fuckin SLUTS for wanting this so bad (literally me too i love the idea of this man actin this way)
pairing: vinnie hacker x fem!reader
warnings: smut, oral ( f receiving), praise, mild hair pulling, cum eating, cum play, kinda porn w no plot, overstim, spit play, if i missed anything lmk !!
summary: vinnie loves the taste of you on his tongue and can’t help but get lost in the moment
the position you were in was nasty — bent over the arm of the couch as your boyfriend ate you out from behind.
all that was heard from the two of you was the loud sounds of vinnie’s mouth on you and your moans.
he needed this, craved it like it was some drug. you knew vinnie’s favorite thing was to eat you out, but you didn’t know he loved it this much.
“pussy s’fuckin’ good, baby.” you hear your boyfriend slur as he laps up your wetness.
he moves one of your legs to rest over the arm of the chair before spreading your asscheeks apart.
he shakes his head back and forth as his tongue prods at your entrance at a fast pace.
you grip at the couch in front of you, needing something to steady yourself.
your legs are shaking, the movements of the blonde’s mouth is almost too much for you to handle.
“doin’ so good for me, pretty girl.” vinnie praises against you, his chin covered in your wetness.
you couldn’t see him, seeing as you’re facing the other way, but you could definitely feel him, and it felt amazing.
vinnie continues to suck at your clit while also grabbing a fist full of your hair and pulling it slightly.
a moan escapes your lips and vinnie smiles against your clit. no words are exchanged, just the filthy sound of his mouth on you.
vinnie watches you clench around nothing when he removes his mouth from you. he smirks, moving his hand up to you, gliding his finger against you.
his mouth attacks your clit again as he carefully pushes a finger into you, eliciting a whine from you.
“baby.” is all your able to get out before vinnie flips you around.
he smiles at you as he moves you to lay on the couch while he kneels in front of you.
he spreads you apart again, taking a real good look at you before kissing your clit.
“look at you,” his voice is deep, he’s completely submerged in this moment, in you. “prettiest fuckin’ pussy.” he doesn’t even finish his sentence before he’s back on you.
you fist his hair in your hands as his skilled mouth sucks at you again.
you squeeze your thighs around him which instantly makes vinnie moan into your heat.
he can’t get enough of you, you’re just too sweet. his nose nudges your clit and that’s what pushes you over the edge, not being able to warn vinnie beforehand.
you squeeze your thighs around him as you cum, making him moan into you once again which only spurs you on more.
“vinnie, please.” you’re a whining, shaking mess as he continues to not let up on you.
he’s too into this moment, almost like he’s drunk on the taste of you.
“c’mon baby, gimme another.” he rasps against you as he lifts his hand up to you, pushing the substance that slid out of you back into you again.
it was filthy really, but so hot at the same time. vinnie wraps his arms around your thighs, lifting you up just a bit as he helps you grind your pussy into him, riding his face.
the stimulation of his mouth and you grinding into him, it’s all too much as you moan out for him again.
“that’s it baby, i know you’re close. give it to me, mama.” he encourages you.
your breathing is heavy and skin is glistening in sweat as you move your hips on him one more time before you cum again on his face.
vinnie takes it all with a satisfied groan once he feels you let go. you look down at him as he looks up at you through his lashes.
he’s not done with you yet, he’s only gotten two orgasms out of you so far, that wasn’t enough for him.
“n-no more vinnie, please.” you try and plead with him as you feel his fingers on you now.
vinnie tsks, looking up at you with the sweetest eyes. “sensitive?” he asks, already knowing the answer.
you nod as you feel his lips on you again, he kisses you once more, making you clench your legs.
“can’t stop now, princess,” vinnie mutters. “pussy’s too sweet, i can’t get enough.”
you buck your hips up against his face again when you feel him suck on your clit. you grip his hair, tugging as you feel his tongue on you.
the taste of you is too good he can’t let up, even if he wants too.
“love when i have you like this, don’t you baby?” he asks as you tilt your head back. “love feelin’ my mouth on your sweet pussy, huh?”
you moan at his words as they go in one ear and out the other at this point. you don’t know anything besides the feeling of vinnie’s mouth on your cunt.
the wet sounds are filthy as they merge in with your and vinnie’s combined moans.
he grips your thighs, absolutely with no doubt creating bruises that’ll appear the next day.
he moves his mouth from your cunt to the inside of your thighs, creating hickeys along them before continuing what he was doing.
“f-fuck, mouth feels s’good vin.” you whine out as you feel his tongue against you once again.
vinnie moans into you at the praise which spurs you on and you instinctively buck your hips up into him.
he lifts his face mere inches as he sees the white substance leak out of you. he smirks, his fingers find your pussy again and he spreads them along your folds.
he pushes the cum that has spilled out of you back inside, making you moan when you feel his finger inside you.
“gonna-“ you cut yourself off with a moan when you feel not only his finger but his moth on you. “shit!”
vinnie hums, loving the effort he has on you as you do him. “one more pretty, c’mon.” he urges.
you grind against him as you moan out profanities along with his name as you cum on his mouth for the third time that night.
you’re completely spent but vinnie doesn’t seem to care, too drunk and lost on your pretty, glistening, pussy.
he looks up at you as he glides his finger along your folds, collecting the substance.
“open,” he says once he’s face to face with you. you see your juices on his chin and smile.
you open your mouth to happily invite his index finger into your mouth. vinnie hums as he watches you suck his finger clean.
“good girl,” he praises as you keep the smile plastered on your face. “did so good f’me.”
he kisses you properly and you melt into it before pulling away after a few seconds.
vinnie tells you he’ll be right back and goes to grab a warm washcloth.
he carefully wipes up your thighs as you watch him. you gasp when you feel his fingers on you again, the sensitivity skyrocketing.
“vinnie.” you say warningly, making him look up at you with a smirk.
he finishes cleaning you up with one finally kiss to your cunt, making you whine. he helps dress you for the night before dressing himself.
his mind is a bit hazy still, so you help him come down by laying in bed snuggled together as you trace meaningless patterns on his chest.
before the two of you know it you’re both asleep in each others arms.

working out separately- v.h
To the person who requested this, you know who you are. Somehow your message in my inbox got deleted.
Masterlist
*And let's appreciate this picture, shall we?*
The gym buzzed with the familiar hum of machines and rhythmic clanking of weights. You and Vinnie stepped through the entrance. Though you two entered together, you had your separate routines to follow. With a parting kiss, you headed to your respective corners of the gym.
You settled into your usual spot by the treadmills, starting with a brisk walk as a warmup. Vinnie, meanwhile, headed to the weights, setting up for his first set of bicep curls.
As your pace quickened, you glanced over at Vinnie, who was in the middle of a heavy lift. His focused expression made you smile. But with his head lifting up, you quickly looked away, hoping he hadn't noticed. Vinnie caught you from the corner of his eye, smirking to himself as he continued his reps.
While you transitioned to doing lunges with a weight in hand, Vinnie moved to the seated row. The glances became something like a game throughout the session. Each time you stole a look at each other, your eyes would meet briefly, sparking a silent conversation filled with playful glances and shared smiles.
Upon completing your main workout, you headed to the stair master to finish with some cardio. Vinnie, having completed his sets, wiped his face with a towel and looked over at you. He couldn't resist the urge to be near you any longer.
Walking over, he stood next to the machine you were on, catching his breath. You were too locked in to notice but when you saw his shirtless frame, you were surprised, but pleased. His presence was warm and your steps never faltered. He glanced around at others and simply wanted to be next to you, silently enjoying the moment.
After a few quiet minutes, Vinnie turns to you, his eyes twinkling. He subtly runs his fingers over yours that are gripping the rail. You laugh softly to yourself, understanding his request without words. You slowed the stair master to a stop, stepping off to meet him. Leaning in, he places a gently kiss on your lips. Like a reward for your little game.
Or maybe it's his way of showing the guy next to you that you're not single.

˗ˏˋ ꒰ ♡ ꒱ ˎˊ˗
vinnie’s down bad from the moment he met you, there’s no doubt about it. he’d been practically begging the universe for a girlfriend for ages now and finally, after months of sulking and swiping left on the endless amount of l.a. girl that are basically carbon copies of each other, here you are ; everything he’s been searching for — a diamond in a sea of glass.
after just one date with you, he knew you were the one and he wasn’t shy about sharing his excitement. his friends weren’t used to this side of vin, and although most would find it annoying to hear him go on and on and on about this perfect girl he’d been seeing for only a short period of time, his friends were happy for him ; and dying to meet the mystery girl that’s got their best friend cheesin’ non stop.
it wasn’t too far along in the relationship that vinnie would bring up introducing you to his friends. they meant the world to him, and now so did you, of course he couldn’t keep you hidden for long.
you, however, were extremely nervous to meet the infamous group. knowing vinnie’s current living situation, you knew his friends would be around a lot ; so in your mind, if they didn’t approve of you, you could kiss your relationship — also known as the best thing that’s ever happened to you — goodbye.
vinnie assured you a million and one times that wasn’t the case and you had absolutely nothing to worry about. his friends would love you just as much as he did — well maybe not as much as vinnie did, that would be impossible, but a close second.
so here you were, sitting passenger side in vinnie’s mazda, on your way to his house to meet only a few of his closest friends — baby steps, as vinnie called it.
the car ride was filled with vin whispering sweet nothings to calm any and all of your nerves ; his hand on your thigh, as it was during every car ride you shared, giving gentle squeezes as to say a silent ‘i love you’ ; and short kisses pressed to your lips, cheek, forehead — anywhere vinnie could reach while the light was still red. it didn’t take long for you to become a blushing mess and forget all the worries that filled your mind only minutes prior. that was the effect vinnie had on you, and one of the many reasons you loved him — you’ve never felt more safe and happy with anyone in your life.
after a longer ride than anticipated, thanks to the constant bustling streets of l.a., you pulled into the driveway of vinnie’s gigantic home.
the anxiety you were feeling quickly came back to you once you saw just how many cars filled both the driveway and garage of the house — way more than you expected. vinnie could see you eyeing them while simultaneously doing the math in your head. he realized by the looks of it, it would seem as if there was a party going on inside when in reality, as he hurried to explain to you, most of those cars were his own — immediately causing you to let out a big sigh of relief. but wonder, how many cars does one person need?
being the gentleman that he is, vinnie opened the car door for you, holding his hand out to guide you towards the house.
before you made it to the front door, he paused, pulling you into a hug as he placed a kiss to the top of your head. “i love you and they’re going to love you, i promise. you have nothing to worry about, sweetheart.”
and vinnie was right, like always, he was quick to remind you later. his friends adored you.
jett was especially impressed with your knowledge on cars — little did he know it came from all the babbling you heard whenever vinnie visited you after just spending hours at the warehouse.
you originally planned on staying for only a little bit before heading to a dinner reservation, but the boys begged vinnie to cancel it, not wanting you to leave just yet. and how could vinnie say no to that. he was just thrilled to see his favorite people getting along.
instead, he ordered food for everyone and you spent the rest of the evening watching anime and playing games with the group — getting yourself into an intense game of mario kart with jack.
hera even joined the party and cuddled up right next to you on the couch, squishing herself between you and vinnie.
vinnie couldn’t help the smile that was glued to his face. his best friends, his favorite girl and his precious cat all together in one room — it couldn’t get better than this.
when it was time for vinnie to drive you home, the boys were already inviting you back over for a barbecue the following weekend. a barbecue vinnie didn’t even know they were having until that moment.
the following morning they were all telling vinnie how lucky his was to have found you and that you were definitely the one. even commenting on how they’d never seen him so happy.

missed you - a vinnie hacker short
a/n: requested by anon; lowercase intended
summary: after returning from modelling, vinnie is very clingy and touchy towards his gf
vinnie had just returned from a successful modelling gig in Paris, and he couldn't wait to see his girlfriend, y/n. as he stepped off the plane and into the arrivals area, he spotted her waiting with a warm smile.
“y/n, my love!” vinnie exclaimed, rushing to embrace her.
he wrapped his arms around her tightly, lingering in the hug longer than usual.
“i missed you so much!"
y/n, feeling a little surprised by the intensity of the hug, couldn't help but smile.
“i missed you too, vin,” she replied, returning the hug.
they walked hand in hand to the car, vinnie refusing to let go of y/n’s hand even when they were seated inside. as they drove home, he couldn't resist stealing glances at her and planting soft kisses on her cheek. once they arrived at their apartment, vinnie continued to be unusually clingy. he followed her around the house, hugging her from behind as she prepared dinner and showering her with compliments.
“you look even more beautiful than when i left," vinnie whispered, nuzzling her neck.
y/n blushed and giggled, appreciating the attention but also finding it a bit overwhelming.
“thank you, baby. i’m just the same old me."
later that evening, as they settled into bed, vinnie curled up beside her, refusing to leave her side. he ran his fingers through her hair and held her hand, his touch as constant as his affectionate words. while y/n loved that her love missed her so much, she was also a bit concerned by how clingy he was. he’s always been affectionate but never this affectionate.
“vin, my love, i’m glad you're back, but you're being awfully touchy tonight. is everything okay?” she gently said
vinnie sighed, realising he might be overdoing it.
“i’m sorry, baby. i just missed you a lot, and being away made me appreciate you even more."
y/n smiled, understanding his feelings.
“aw, you’re so cute! i missed you too! being away from you these past couple of weeks has made me realised how much i really love and appreciate you.”
vinnie smiled softly, bringing his angel in closer to his chest, wrapping his arms around her waist, his fingers lightly scratching the small of her back. the two lovers cuddled together, finding comfort in each other's presence, with the promise of more quality time to come.

You loved Vinnie, ever since you two met it was love at first sight. You both were shy in nature, but the moment you were introduced you were so sure you’ve met someone from your past life. The conversation between you two came easily, no awkwardness, just a melody each time your eyes met.
Vinnie was special, his hand grasping yours so he wouldn’t lose you in the crowd. Always keeping a napkin in his pocket since you always seemed to spill something. He often found himself comparing you to the sun, but quickly realized that not even the big star above his head came close in comparison to you. Vinnie loved you too.
Both of you kept silent, choked laughs and glances to one’s direction when the other wasn’t looking.
It was clear to everyone else, the love of which was growing everyday keeping you both prisoners in its grasp.
Vinnie was convinced he’d die if he never admitted it, his chest tightening as his heart grew and doubled its beats when you were around. But he was terrified of losing you if he spoke the truth, so he hid, despite his world crumbling every time another content creator asked for your number, which you always declined with a reserved smile, the smile you promised Vinnie was his.
—————————
Vinnie wanted to do something different for his upcoming stream that weekend. Instead of playing the usual games he wanted to bake a cherry pie with you, and you immediately agreed before the tattooed blonde finished his sentence. So there you were, flour coating your cheeks and clothes after Vinnie decided to throw some at you.
The whole kitchen was a mess, eggs and crushed cherries staining cupboards and clothes. Vinnie’s eyes were on you whilst you spoke to the viewers. You were a mess, but you looked so fucking beautiful with that smile that Vinnie would die for. He scolded himself when his thoughts crafted a world in which you stood before him, dressed in white and his ring on your finger. It stung, so deeply that he had to take a deep breath to come back to reality, the reality where you were only his friend and nothing more.
He remembered Noah telling Vinnie how he was his own worst enemy, and now he wholeheartedly agreed as he watched you in this perfect light, a beckoning for him to tell you his deepest secrets, but yet his tongue remained still and a bitter feeling grew in his stomach as he continued to watch you.
You were his opposite. Vinnie bore a dark cloud over his head, sometimes it’d rain or thunder, but now it was merely there, darkening his thoughts while you radiated sunshine and warmth. He stood no chance.
You gave the blonde a soft tap on his inked arm to bring him back from wherever his mind traveled to, something you were used to see happening. “You still with us?” You whispered, a smile on your lips but your eyes held a spark of concern.
To play it cool, the blonde gave you a wink with a cheeky smile, “for you? "Always." He looked back to the monitor so he could read the chat, but every time you let out a laugh his mind wandered to that special place again.
“Honestly, it looks pretty good,” you spoke as you glanced down at the cherry pie. “Why do you sound so surprised?” He laughed, knocking his shoulder softly into yours.
“Vin, have you met us?” He had to agree on that one. “Besides I’m no chef, and you’re always distracted,” because of you, he wanted to interrupt with, but he bit his lip to force the words back down his throat. “And when you’re not; you play around too much.” You continued.
He turned back to the chat with a exaggerated smile and waved his arms around, “you heard it here folks, Y/n and I are no longer friends,” you quickly grabbed his arms with a giddy laugh, “finally!” He stopped and turned to look down at you. “Bullshit, you love me too much.” He looked serious, but the corner of his lips twitching gave it away.
“Yeah, of course I do. Gonna marry you one day.” You mumbled but Vinnie heard it loud and clear. “Don’t say that.” He quipped. His heart was doing painful somersaults in his chest. “I’m serious, don’t joke about that.” He was sweating as he spoke, his voice shaking with each word. His stream had been long forgotten as you stood in front of him, eyes staring into his.
“Vinn-“ He didn’t let you finish. He compared it to blacking out as he told you how much pain he was in simply because you existed, and how he didn’t mind the pain because it made him feel alive. He came to when you told him how important he was to you too. “I can’t lose you Vin, I’m so scared that I’ll-“ he grabbed your face and quickly pulled you into a toe curling, passionate kiss. A kiss that warmed his heart and he could feel the cracks patching together. Your hands gripped his waist as the kiss continued to grow more passionate, and then you quickly pulled back in panic. “The stream!”
“Fuck em’” he smiled and pulled you back in for another breathtaking kiss. He couldn’t help the laughs escaping him as the kiss continued. He never felt like this and he knew that he would do anything to keep you in this life.

Hi, can you do an imagine about pranking vinnie, and telling him to try not to annoy you today, please
★ PRANKS.
੭୧ . . . vinnie hacker x female!reader.
ᯓ you prank your boyfriend by telling him not to annoy you and it backfires, which wasn't what you expected.
warning(s) angst┆pranks┆emotional distress┆crying. 𓇼 thank you for requesting anon babe ! i'm sorry if it wasn't exactly how you wanted it but i hope you enjoy <3 mature content!

you wake up feeling mischievous, plotting a prank to play on your unsuspecting boyfriend vinnie. thinking up the perfect plan to really mess with him, you can't help the smirk forming as he slowly stirs awake.
leaning over, you whisper in his ear "good morning baby." however, your usually sweet tone holds an underlying edge of irritation that has vinnie blinking in confusion. before he can say anything, you continue in a clipped manner.
"i'm already annoyed so don't bother me at all for the rest of the day, okay? i mean it." his eyebrows furrow, clearly taken aback by your sharp words. searching your face for any sign that it's a joke, hurt washes over him as you give no indication you don't seriously want space.
"okay..." he says hesitantly, hurt flickering in his eyes as he climbs out of bed. part of you feels guilty seeing how your prank is already affecting him, but you're determined to commit fully to the bit. hopefully he'll catch on soon that you're messing with him.
throughout the morning, vinnie keeps his distance as asked, seeming uneasy and unsure what to do to not annoy you further. any attempts at jokes or affection are met with exaggerated irritation, cementing in his mind that you genuinely need space from him.
it grows harder to maintain your façade as his usual cheerfulness fades into guarded silence. by midday, remorse is gnawing a hole in your gut seeing how dejected vinnie appears. when he recoils from your touch with worried eyes, you can no longer take it.
"vinnie, i need to tell you something," you start, grabbing his arm as he tries to walk away. he pauses but doesn't turn, shoulders hunched in defeatedly. "this was all just a stupid prank baby, i don't actually want space from you."
whirling around, hurt and anger flash across his features. "a prank? i thought you were seriously pissed off at me! you had me questioning everything all day," he shouts, hurt turning to rage the longer he processes how badly you messed with him.
"i'm sorry, it was just a joke. i didn't mean to actually upset you,” you scramble to apologize but he brushes past, heading for the door. "where are you going?" panic surges through you, worrying you may have broken the fragile trust between you.
"i just need to be alone for a while, i can't even look at you right now," he spits venomously before slamming the front door behind him. collapsing to the floor, you pull your knees up to your chest as quiet sobs escape your lips.
hours pass with no word from vinnie, your texts and calls going unanswered in a painful silence. night falls heavily, adding to your despair wondering if you pushed him too far this time. just as you're about to give up hope, the door creaks open slowly.
lifting your head, you see vinnie standing uncertainly in the doorway, eyes puffy and red-rimmed from his own tears. without a word, he crosses over and falls into your waiting embrace, holding on for dear life. neither of you speak for a long while, simply taking comfort in being close again.
finally, vinnie pulls back enough to look at you with watery eyes. "i'm still so fucking mad at you but i love you too much to walk away. just promise me no more stupid pranks, okay?" he pleads brokenly.
"i promise, i'm so sorry sweetheart. can you ever forgive me?" you ask, cupping his face gently. he nods, pressing a lingering kiss to your lips in acceptance of your apology. holding each other tightly, you both silently vow to communicate better to avoid such hurt in the future.
your love proves stronger than any misstep could fracture, bonding that transcends fleeting fallouts. here in sanctuary of each other's arms rediscovered, all remnants of shadows melt under floods of forgiveness' warmth. two souls learn as one, growing through missteps refined to blossoms entwining roots anchored in understanding deeper than any sea. this you vow eternally, to cherish the blossoms arising where hearts intertwine.

pairing - vinnie hacker x female!reader
a/n: thank you for the kind words, sweetheart. sending you love too. i absolutely adore this lovely request and i hope you'll enjoy this little blurb.
y/n lifted her head and rested her chin on vinnie's chest while looking at him.
the room was filled with the boy's voice. just him talking about the new anime, that he had started to watch, and how amazing it is.
her body felt warm. being so close to him made her feel safe. his touch. his fingers stroking her hair. she adored it all.
the girl's heart melted at the sight of her lover. she noticed how his eyes lit up, as he continued talking about the show. that's what she loved about him. how compassionate he is about the things that mean so much to him. how he notices the little details, that for others would be nothing special.
"and then it-," but before vinnie could finish his sentence, y/n leaned up and kissed him.
he was a little shocked at the sudden interaction.
to be honest, the girl didn't even know why she did it so unexpectedly, but the way this boy made her feel was indescribable.
y/n disattached her lips from his soft ones, resting her chin back on his chest, her gaze remaining on vinnie.
"what was that for?" his lip corners lifted, as he saw the beautiful smile on the girl's face.
"you're just cute," y/n's smile grew bigger when she saw the light pink tint appear on vinnie's face.
he put her hair behind her ear, before resting his hand on her cheek, softly caressing her skin, "you okay?"
the girl leaned into his touch, "yeah, just love you... so much."
"and i love you," he leaned down and pressed a kiss to her forehead.
as he got back into his position, y/n rested her cheek on his chest, "now, please, continue."
vinnie let out a laugh. his hand found its way back to her hair, gently stroking it, as he continued to ramble about the topic.
they stayed like that for hours.
the couple talked about the most random stuff, but that didn't bother nor bore them. speaking about these small things, made them closer. made them understand each other better. it made them see each other in a different light.
it made them see each other in a much deeper and more emotional way, which made the love and the connection grow even stronger.

❀ 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞. I actually decided to read this and edit it, hope you like it (I didn't write seven THOUSAND words for no reason) <3
𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐠𝐨
"Hi, Mr. Hacker," you say, playfully using the new nickname you made up for him.
Vinnie chuckles warmly, the sound of his laughter filling the room.
"Mr. Hacker? Oh, is that what we're going with now?" he teased, a hint of curiosity in his eyes. He leaned against the wall, his arms crossing over his chest, his gaze fixated on you, his smile widening.
Vinnie chuckles. "That's a new nickname. Not really your style to be calling me by nicknames," he adds.
He walks up to you and gently wraps his arms around your sides, but you pull back slightly.
"Do you hate it?" you tease lightly.
He shakes his head, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. He pulls you close again, not letting you pull away this time.
"No, not at all. I quite like it," he murmurs, his voice soft and low. His hands rest on your hips, his fingers gently massaging small circles into them.
He notices your initial attempt to pull away, his smirk turning into a quizzical expression. "Is everything okay?" he asks, sensing something amiss. Seeing your hands fidget and sensing your distracted thoughts, he truly knew how to read you like an open book, understanding your every emotion.
"We need to talk," you say, slipping from his embrace.
His smirk fades instantly once you say those words. That phrase, "We need to talk," had a reputation for never indicating anything good. Vinnie instinctively tenses; his mind begins to wonder if anything is wrong with you and your relationship.
He looks at you for a moment, noting the way you slipped from his grasp. A pang of anxiety washes over him, but he tries to keep his face calm.
"Okay," he starts, his voice steady despite the flutter of worry that is coursing through his veins. "What is it that you want to talk about?"
"I feel like we're not on the same page in life as we used to be," you say, your voice tinged with concern.
Those words hit Vinnie like a punch in the gut. He takes a step back, his eyes searching your face, trying to read your emotions. He knew this conversation was coming, but that didn't make it any easier to hear.
His hands clench into fists subconsciously, his knuckles turning white.
"What do you mean we're not on the same page?" he asked, his voice laced with a hint of defensiveness.
Vinnie listens, his expression growing more solemn with each word you speak. Your words strike at something deep within him, a truth that he has been trying to ignore.
He looks down at his hands, fingers clenching and unclenching as he absorbs your words. A muscle in his jaw tenses as he grapples with the reality of what you're saying.
"I didn't realize it was affecting us that badly," he admits, finally looking back up at you. "I guess I just... I don't know. I thought we were handling things, you know?"
"It's fine," you reassure him. "I'm not saying stop chasing your dreams. Go for it. But what if we took a break?"
Vinnie's gaze hardened a bit at the mention of the word "break." The fear of losing you crept into his heart, and it showed on his face. However, he tried to keep his voice calm.
"A break...?" he echoed, the word feeling heavy on his tongue.
He takes a step forward, his eyes locking with yours. There's a mixture of panic and pleading in his gaze. "You... You mean break up...?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper, afraid of what the answer might be.
"Yeah..." you say. "You know, maybe try things, chase our dreams."
His heart sinks upon hearing your answer. He had hoped that you weren't referring to a break-up, but now the reality of the situation was setting in.
Vinnie takes a step back, running a hand through his hair in frustration. There's a mix of shock and hurt in his eyes.
"Chase our dreams...?" he repeats, the words tasting bitter on his tongue. He walks around the kitchen island and sits on one of the stools, resting his elbows on the countertop and burying his face in his hands.
"Is that what you really want?" he asks, his voice muffled.
"Kinda," you admit. "Maybe you'll finally be the model or singer you want to be. Maybe your band will finally hit the top 100 charts, maybe even number one. And maybe, just maybe, I can be on TV."
Vinnie sighs, his shoulders growing heavy with the weight of your words. A part of him wanted to argue, to defend the dreams he's been chasing for years, but the look on your face told him you were serious about this.
He looks up, his gaze falling on you, his expression a mixture of sadness and resignation.
"So this is... This is really happening, then?" he asks quietly. "We're ending this. Is that what you're saying?"
"I suppose, I mean the truth is we've been so distant from each other. We barely have enough time for this relationship," you explain. "I'm going to be in Hollywood for a while for my upcoming movie, and you're going to be in LA. Is it truly going to work?"
Vinnie's hands grip the edge of the countertop tightly, his knuckles turning white. A pang of regret stabs through his heart as he lets the news sink in.
"Hollywood..." he murmurs, his voice barely audible.
He looks back up at you, his gaze searching. "For how long will you be in Hollywood?" he asks, dreading the answer.
"I really don't know," you say.
The uncertainty in your voice only worsens the knot tightening in Vinnie's stomach.
"Not knowing for sure...?" he repeats, his voice filled with both frustration and fear. His grip on the countertop tightens even more.
He stares at you for a few moments, his mind racing with thoughts. Then, he lets out a frustrated sigh and stands up, pacing around the kitchen.
"And what about us? What happens to us?" he asks, his voice tinged with desperation.
"I don't know, Vinnie," you admit, tears welling up in your own eyes. "I don't know what the future holds. I know because of this movie role, I'm going to be away for a long time."
Vinnie stops pacing when he hears the tears in your voice. His heart aches, and he wants nothing more than to hold you in his arms, to tell you that things will work out, but the truth is, he doesn't know either.
He looks at you, his own eyes damp with unshed tears. "It's not just about you being away," he says quietly. "It's about us being so detached from each other lately. We barely spend time together, and when we do, it just doesn't feel the same."
You say nothing, unsure how to respond, biting on your nails.
The silence that hangs in the air is deafening. Vinnie doesn't say anything either, watching you as you bite your nails, a nervous habit you've always had. It breaks his heart even more to see the uncertainty on your face.
He takes a step closer to you, his voice softer than before. "You see it too, right? That something is wrong with us?" he asks, hope and despair mixing in his voice.
"Yeah..." you hesitate.
The confirmation that you agree hits Vinnie like another blow. Even though he knew deep down, hearing you say it out loud somehow makes it more real.
He reaches out to touch your arm gently, his fingers tracing a small circle on your skin.
"I never wanted this, you know that, right?" he whispers, his voice filled with a mixture of sorrow and anger. "I never wanted us to grow apart like this."
"I mean I understand why we've just been doing our own thing for a while, for so long. I mean we met in high school and never expected the fame we have to grow."
Vinnie nods silently, his gaze dropping to the floor. He knows exactly what you're saying. The fame and success you've both achieved were beyond anything either of you could have imagined.
He lifts his head back up and looks at you, his expression a mix of pain and resignation. "It's like we've been so focused on chasing our dreams, we forgot to keep dreaming together," he says softly.
Those words hang heavy in the air. Vinnie feels a pang of guilt wash over him. You both chased after your dreams, but somehow you lost sight of the one dream you had together.
He takes a small step forward, his hand instinctively reaching out to touch yours. "We can't change the past," he murmurs, "but is there no way we can salvage our future?"
"If I come back and we both have the same feelings for one another, maybe we could be... maybe," you suggest tentatively.
Vinnie's heart skips a beat at your words. A glimmer of hope sparks within him, a tiny flicker of possibility.
He lets out a shaky breath, his fingers gripping yours tighter. "Maybe..." he repeats softly, as if the word would vanish if he spoke it too loud.
He steps forward again, closing the distance between you. His other hand reaches up to cup your face gently. "But you're going to be gone for so long..." he whispers, the words catching in his throat.
"How about a hug? A kiss would feel too intimate, don't you think?" you suggest.
Vinnie nods, understanding the sentiment. He'd love nothing more than to pull you into a tight embrace, to hold you close and whisper reassurances in your ear. But you're right, a kiss would feel too intimate, too final.
He pulls you into a hug, wrapping his arms around you tightly. He buries his face in the crook of your neck, inhaling your scent.
"I'm sorry," you say softly, tears streaming down your face.
Vinnie feels you shivering in his arms, the sound of your muffled sobs breaking his heart. His own chest tightens, his own tears threatening to fall.
He leans his head against yours, his arms holding you even tighter. "It's okay, love," he whispers, his voice thick with emotion. "I'm sorry too."
"I loved you so much, and I hope you find everything you're looking for too."
Vinnie's grip on you becomes even tighter, his body trembling from the weight of your words. Hearing you speak in the past tense about how you love him is like a dagger to his heart.
He pulls back slightly so he can look into your tear-filled eyes. "I loved you too," he replies, his voice cracking slightly, "And I always will. I wish... I wish we could have found everything together."
"I wish we could've too, but I don't think we can."
With those words, something in Vinnie shatters. He's holding onto you, but he feels like he's falling apart.
He swallows the lump in his throat, desperately trying to keep his emotions in check, but a tear escapes, rolling down his cheek. "We had so many dreams together," he murmurs, his voice breaking. "And now... now we're just letting them all go?"
Eventually, you release him, your expression a mix of sadness and acceptance.
Vinnie feels the moment your arms loosen around him, the moment you let go. It feels like you're slipping away, and he knows he can't stop it.
His hands drop to his sides, empty now that they're not holding you. He looks at you, taking in the mix of sadness and acceptance on your face. It's in that moment that he finally understands it's really happening.
"This is goodbye, isn't it?" he asks quietly, his voice shaking ever so slightly.
"I guess it is, Vincent."
Those words feel like a punch to the gut. Hearing you say his name, but in a way that feels so distant, so final, is almost unbearable.
He nods slightly, his eyes falling to the ground. The lump in his throat grows larger, threatening to choke him.
"Goodbye..." he whispers, the word tasting like bile on his tongue.
"Goodbye, Vin," you say softly.
He nods again, unable to form any words. Saying goodbye to you feels like the hardest thing he's ever done. His heart is heavy, a mixture of sorrow, regret, and disbelief washing over him.
As you start to walk away, Vinnie's hand twitches, instinct telling him to reach out and pull you back. But he doesn't. Instead, he stands there, rooted to the spot, watching you walk out of his life.
You slowly walk towards the door and open it, pausing for a moment to look back at him one final time. Your tear-filled eyes meet his for a few seconds before you step out the door, disappearing into the unknown.
After you leave, the apartment falls eerily silent. The absence of your voice, your footsteps, your presence is deafening.
Vinnie stands in the middle of the living room, his gaze fixed on the empty space you left behind. It feels surreal, like he's in a nightmare from which he can't wake up.
Then the realization of your absence hits him like a ton of bricks. You're gone, and he's alone. A strangled noise escapes his throat, somewhere between a gasp and a sob.
Days turn into weeks, and the silence in the apartment only grows louder. Vinnie feels like he's living on autopilot, going through the motions of his daily routine but with a huge part of him missing.
His nights are filled with sleeplessness as he stares at the empty space beside him in the bed. The pillow still holds the faint scent of your hair, and it both comforts and tortures him.
He tries to distract himself with work, with the band, with anything he can think of. But nothing seems to fill the void left by your absence. The silence in the apartment is maddening, the space feels empty and cold without you.
Vinnie's thoughts are constantly haunted by memories of you, the way you used to laugh, the way you used to smile, the way you used to make him feel. It's as if you're everywhere and nowhere at once, a constant reminder of what he's lost.
The apartment, once a warm and lively space filled with love and laughter, now feels like a hollow shell. The photos on the walls, the little mementos of your time together, they all feel like ghosts of a past he can't seem to let go of.
Vinnie spends countless hours staring at his phone, hoping to see a message from you, a sign that maybe you're thinking about him too. But the screen remains stubbornly blank, a silent testament to the distance growing between you.
Every day feels like a struggle, a battle against the gnawing emptiness that threatens to consume him. He pours himself into his work, hoping to drown out the pain with music and the camaraderie of his bandmates. But even the thrill of performing, something that used to bring him so much joy, now feels hollow without you by his side.
As the weeks turn into months, Vinnie begins to accept the reality of your absence. The pain doesn't lessen, but it becomes a part of him, a constant ache that he learns to live with. He knows he can't hold onto the past forever, but letting go of you feels like letting go of a part of himself.
The dreams you shared, the future you once envisioned together, they all feel like distant memories now. But despite the pain, Vinnie holds onto the hope that maybe, someday, your paths will cross again. Maybe you'll find your way back to each other, and maybe, just maybe, you'll find that the love you once shared is still there, waiting to be rekindled.
𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐲
Four years had passed since you and Vinnie had gone your separate ways, but the memories of your time together still lingered like ghosts from the past. You found yourself at a lavish Hollywood party, surrounded by the elite and celebrities, trying to navigate through the crowd with Matt Sturniolo, your new boyfriend. Matt was introducing you to various people, his hand possessively on your back as you made your way through the throng.
The room suddenly felt smaller, the air thicker, as your eyes met Vinnie's across the crowded party. The sight of him caught you off guard, a flood of memories and emotions surging through you.
For those few seconds, it was as if time had regressed, and you were back to all those moments you had shared together. But as quickly as the connection had been made, Vinnie looked away, leaving you bewildered and disoriented.
Matt's hand was on your waist, a subtle but possessive gesture that grounded you back in reality. However, you couldn't help but steal furtive glances at Vinnie.
You tried to focus on the conversations around you, but your thoughts kept drifting back to Vinnie. He was now fully engaged in another conversation, his laughter ringing out loudly across the room.
Matt's arm around your waist tightened slightly, as if sensing your distraction. He leaned in, his lips brushing against your ear, "Everything okay, baby?" he asked, his voice laced with a hint of possessiveness.
"I'm fine," you smiled at him as he led you across the crowd, introducing you to his friends. But then Matt brought you in front of Vinnie, and you had to muster all your strength to act as if this was your first time meeting. Your eyes locked onto Vinnie's, and you could see a flicker of recognition in his gaze, but he played along.
Vinnie's heart skipped a beat as Matt guided you towards him. He was acutely aware of your presence, the scent of your perfume bringing back a flood of memories. He hoped his poker face was holding up.
Once you were standing in front of him, Vinnie plastered on a casual smile, acting as if he hadn't recognized you. His eyes met yours, and for a moment, he felt as if the world around them had vanished.
"Hey, nice to meet you," Vinnie said smoothly, offering a polite smile and extending his hand for a handshake.
You politely declined Vinnie's handshake, keeping your hand firmly clasped with Matt's as he introduced you as his girlfriend. Vinnie glanced at your intertwined hands, a subtle flicker of disappointment crossing his face before he quickly masked it with a neutral expression.
The sight of you rejecting his handshake stung a little, but Vinnie kept his composure. The fact that you were there with another man, holding his hand and introducing yourself as his girlfriend, was like a dagger to his heart.
He tried not to let his disappointment show, but he couldn't help the pang of jealousy that coiled in his gut as he watched you and Matt together. He forced a nonchalant smile, pretending that your presence didn't affect him.
"Ah, got yourself a nice catch, Matt," Vinnie joked, his voice casual but his eyes betraying a hint of envy. He gave Matt's hand a firm shake before turning his attention to you. "Congratulations to you both."
Matt chuckled at Vinnie's compliment, appreciating his words. But Vinnie's eyes betrayed the true feelings lurking beneath his casual demeanor. He couldn't help but feel a pang of envy as he looked at you by Matt's side.
His gaze flicked back to you as he offered his congratulations, watching the way you interacted with Matt, noting the subtle touches and exchanged smiles between you two.
The conversation continued, but Vinnie found himself stealing glances at you whenever he could. The way you smiled at Matt, the way you held his hand, it all made him ache in a way he didn't expect.
He tried to engage in the conversation, to focus on what Matt was saying, but his mind kept wandering back to you. To the time when you were his, when he was the one making you smile and holding your hand.
Every so often, he would catch you looking at him, your gaze darting away just as quickly. Those brief moments of eye contact felt both exhilarating and painful. Vinnie tried to push down the rush of memories and emotions, to act nonchalant, but the more time passed, the harder it became.
The conversations around them continued, but Vinnie's thoughts were consumed by the what-ifs and the lingering memories of your relationship.
Matt turned to Vinnie and asked, "So, have you found yourself a special someone yet, Vinnie?"
Vinnie chuckled, a bit awkwardly, as Matt brought up the topic. He knew the question was coming, but he still didn't know how to respond. He glanced at you and Matt, trying to keep his expression casual.
"Nah, not yet," he replied, running a hand through his hair. "Haven't found the right one, I guess." He tried to sound nonchalant, but deep down, he knew exactly who he was thinking about when he said that.
"Ever did?" Matt asked.
"Once," Vinnie replied, his voice a little rougher than intended. His gaze involuntarily flitted over to you, his eyes meeting yours for a brief moment before he looked back at Matt. "But it didn't work out."
He knew he was giving away a piece of himself in that moment, but he couldn't help it.
"We had something special, but life took us down different paths. Sometimes, I wonder if what we had could've been something more."
"What happened?" Matt asked, as you looked away, clenching your hand tighter around Matt's.
Vinnie's gaze lingered on you for a moment longer before he turned back to Matt. The words came out of his mouth automatically, the emotions behind them still raw.
"We were young and ambitious," he said with a shrug, trying to sound indifferent. "We wanted different things from life, from our careers. And we grew apart. It was inevitable, really."
He could feel your eyes on him, even though he couldn't bring himself to look at you directly.
But deep down, Vinnie knew it wasn't that simple. There were a million reasons why you two had grown apart, a million moments where things could have gone differently. But the reality was that you had gone your separate ways.
He clenched his jaw, fighting back the urge to confess everything that was going through his mind at that moment. To pour out his heart and lay bare all the feelings he still harbored for you.
"So, did you find what you were searching for, and did you ever see her again?" Matt asked.
Vinnie let out a bitter laugh, the sound hollow to his own ears. "Yeah, I found success in my career, but that's about it. As for seeing her again..."
He couldn't help but glance at you again, his heart clenching as he took in the sight of you with Matt.
"No, I haven't," he said quietly. "Life has a way of keeping people apart, I guess..."
The conversation between Matt and Vinnie continued, but Vinnie's mind was elsewhere. He couldn't focus on the words being said; all he could think about was you.
His eyes kept returning to you, drawn like a magnet. He watched the way you smiled at Matt, the way you held his hand, and a pang of jealousy shot through him each time.
Seeing you with another man stirred up a myriad of emotions within him, forcing him to confront the lingering feelings he still harbored deep down.
He had told you to meet him outside, but he still hadn’t appeared. You contemplated whether you should go back into the party and search for him. As you waited for the boy you thought you loved, you realized this was the first time in a long while that you had some alone time.
You didn’t expect to see Vinnie today, let alone talk to him. It had been four years since you’d last seen him, and he still looked as handsome as ever. You tried to push the thought away, reminding yourself that you had a boyfriend—a good boyfriend, at least in front of everyone. But thinking about it, today marked your third fight just this week. Earlier, you had found out Matt was texting Madison Beer, a singer you were good friends with. You didn’t think Matt knew her too.
Even though you had your doubts, it wasn’t like he hadn’t had female friends in the past, and it wasn’t like you were completely honest about who your friends were either. On the surface, you and Matt appeared happy, but in reality, everything was crashing down around you. Things were going wrong in your relationship, and the passion and spark you once had for your acting career felt like they were being extinguished.
As you sat there, lost in your thoughts, you looked up from the steps. There he was, looking down at you—Vinnie, an old love. The sight of him sent a jolt through you, stirring up a mix of emotions you had buried long ago
"Hey," he greeted softly, his voice tinged with both warmth and hesitation. "Mind if I join you?"
Your heart skipped a beat at the sound of that familiar voice, stirring up a mixture of emotions within you. The memories of what used to be flooded your mind as you looked up, seeing Vinnie standing there, looking down at you.
You hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to respond. "Go ahead," you replied, a hint of bitterness in your voice. "It's not like my boyfriend is anywhere, and it's not like the spot's reserved."
Vinnie nodded, sensing the underlying resentment in your words. He took a seat next to you on the steps, keeping a polite distance as usual.
The silence between you grew heavy, filled with unspoken words and unresolved tension. His gaze lingered on your face, taking in the familiar features he had once loved. "It's nice out here," he commented softly, before adding, "Not much of a party person, are you?"
"Never was, even with you," you replied, a wistful tone in your voice. "But neither were you."
Vinnie chuckled quietly, a hint of nostalgia in his expression. "Yeah, I guess you're right. We always preferred quieter company, didn't we?"
He paused, a beat of silence passing between you two. "I remember those nights we used to spend, just the two of us, talking away till sunrise."
"Yeah..." you said as forgotten memories washed all over you.
As the memories washed over him, Vinnie felt a pang of nostalgia in his chest. He missed those nights, those moments of closeness and understanding.
"I guess some things never change. Neither of us was meant for the Hollywood spotlight."
"I don't know about you, but I look great on the big screen," you said, trying to inject some lightness into the conversation.
Vinnie chuckled again, appreciating the attempt to lighten the mood. "Yeah, you certainly do. You shine brighter than any star in this town. It suits you. I always knew you were destined for greatness."
His words were sincere, free of any hint of sarcasm or irony. He knew it was a compliment you deserved, even if you now belonged to someone else.
"Even if it caused our relationship to end," you said quietly, your voice tinged with regret.
Vinnie's expression softened as he heard your words. Despite everything that had happened between you two, the regret in your voice tugged at his heartstrings.
He drew in a deep breath, trying to find the right words. "It wasn't just your career that caused the end, you know that, right?"
"It still took a toll on our relationship, on both of us. We had different dreams, different paths. Sometimes, I wonder what would have been if we had chosen differently. Sometimes I wonder if it would have been better if we had ordinary jobs, like everyone else in the world," you added, a wistful tone in your voice.
Vinnie let out a bitter laugh, his gaze fixed on the night sky above.
"Ordinary jobs, huh? Sometimes, I think about that, too," he admitted, his voice laced with a hint of envy for that simpler life.
He turned to look at you, the light from the party casting a soft glow over your face.
"But we were never ordinary, were we?"
"I guess. But just imagine the two of us, living life without the fame and the busy schedules, it would've been simpler, but who knows, maybe things happen for a reason."
Vinnie sighed, the reality of your words sinking in.
"Maybe," he mumbled, his gaze drifting back up to the night sky. "Maybe life had a different plan for us."
For a moment, the two of you sat in silence, lost in your thoughts. Then Vinnie spoke up again, breaking the quiet.
"Do you ever think about... us?"
"You mean what we would be doing instead of attending this party right now, like if we were to go back before the fame, like four years ago? Fighting over either Attack on Titan or Sailor Moon?" you mused.
Vinnie chuckled, a hint of a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. The mention of your old arguments brought back memories of lighter times, when the biggest fights you had were over anime preferences.
"Yeah, something like that," he responded, his eyes still fixed on the horizon. A beat of silence passed between you two before he spoke up again.
"Do... Do you ever wonder if being apart was the right decision? If things could have worked out differently if we had..." He trailed off, leaving the question hanging in the air.
"Sometimes," you said softly, not entirely convinced. "Though I'm surprised there's no lovely woman by your side tonight."
Vinnie chuckled awkwardly, a hint of embarrassment crossing his features. "Ah, yeah... about that."
He ran a hand through his hair, avoiding your gaze.
"Dating scene's not exactly my thing," he admitted, a tinge of sheepishness in his voice. "I'm too focused on my career, I suppose."
He glanced at you, a trace of vulnerability in his eyes. "Not like you, with your Matt."
"You could have any woman you want, Vin," you joked, feigning confidence. "But I guess you're always just waiting for the right one to come along. Someone who appreciates the real you, not just the celebrity persona."
Vinnie's expression softened as he observed you, the playful tone in your voice hinting at insecurity beneath.
"That's what everyone says," he replied, a sad smile on his face. "But finding someone who really gets you, it's not as easy as it sounds."
He paused for a moment, his eyes searching your face. "You... you seem happy with him."
The words were a statement rather than a question, as if the truth was evident in the way you spoke about Matt.
"You mean the anime nerd behind all that mystery," you teased, a hint of a smile playing on your lips.
A genuine smile spread across his face at your words. He couldn't help but be charmed by your ability to bring out the lighter side of him, even in moments like this.
"Yeah, that anime nerd," he replied, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "The one who could argue for hours about which anime character could beat up the other."
Vinnie grinned wider, his eyes lighting up as the nostalgia washed over him. "Yeah, those endless debates over which anime is the best," he mused. "You and your love for Sailor Moon, and me passionately defending Attack on Titan. It was always a tie between us, wasn't it?"
"I don’t know, I feel like I won most of those rounds," you said with a playful challenge.
Vinnie chuckled, shaking his head in disbelief.
"Ah, so you're still claiming victory, huh? Typical," he teased, raising an eyebrow at your declaration. "I seem to recall a few decisive wins on my end, but I guess our memory is selective when it benefits us."
Vinnie's heart skipped a beat when you mentioned Levi. He couldn't deny the attractiveness of the character, but there was something about the way you talked about Levi that made a pang of jealousy flare up within him.
He chuckled, trying to brush off the feeling with a light-hearted remark. "Ah yes, the infamous Levi Ackerman. The heartthrob of the anime world. But let's not forget who gave you those endless debates and sleepless nights, arguing about the pros and cons of Titan shifting versus magical girl transformations."
"You still jealous?"
Vinnie's eyes widened slightly at your comment. Caught off guard, he attempted to play it cool, shrugging nonchalantly.
"Jealous? Pfft, me? Come on, who do you think I am?" he replied, trying to mask the truth with a casual laugh.
But deep down, he couldn't deny the pang of jealousy that tugged at his heart when you spoke so affectionately about Levi.
Matt's presence was an unwelcome intrusion on the conversation between you and Vinnie. Vinnie's gaze shifted to Matt, taking in the sight of him holding you close. The pang of jealousy he felt earlier intensified, but he tried to mask it with a polite smile.
"Ah, you know how it is," Matt replied, wrapping an arm possessively around your waist. "Just got caught up in some party chit-chat. But I'm here now."
Vinnie watched as you kissed Matt, a whirlwind of emotions stirring within him. He forced a strained smile, his eyes betraying a hint of jealousy and longing hidden beneath the surface.
"So, what were you talking about?" Matt asked.
Vinnie tried to collect himself, composing his expression as best as possible. "Oh, we were just reminiscing about the old days," he said, his voice strained. "Back when we used to have those arguments about anime."
He couldn't help but steal a glance in your direction, taking in the sight of you wrapped in Matt's embrace. The pang of jealousy flared up inside him once more, making his heart ache.
"Reminiscing about the old days," Matt said. "Didn't know you knew my girlfriend so well, hacker."
Vinnie's irritation flared up at Matt's casual comment. He clenched his jaw, trying to keep his cool, but the jealousy was eating away at him.
"Ah, well, we go way back," he retorted, a forced smile on his face. "Used to be pretty close, her and I. Before..." he trailed off, unsure of how to finish the sentence.
"Before?" Matt asked, his tone more curious than confrontational.
"Before we graduated high school," you interjected, looking at Vinnie in a pleading way. He could see you hadn't gotten to tell Matt about your relationship.
Matt looked confused, still remembering that you went to a girls-only school. He didn't say a thing, but his confused and we-will-talk-about-it-later look, even though brief, was noticeable to you.
Vinnie caught the pleading look in your eyes, realizing the unspoken plea to keep quiet about your past relationship. He clenched his jaw, biting back the words that almost slipped out.
"Yeah, before high school," he repeated, his voice strained. "Just lost touch after graduation, y'know how it is."
"So, how's the industry treating you, Matt? Any exciting projects coming up?" Vinnie asked, changing the subject.
Matt launched into a detailed explanation about his YouTube channel and the one he shared with his triplet brothers, Nick and Chris, who appeared behind him. Chris gave you a pat on the shoulder, commenting on how lit the party was, joking that you'd be his sister-in-law soon if you kept up your relationship with his brother.
Vinnie's smile grew more strained as Chris appeared out of nowhere, adding to the tension in the air. He watched as he joked about your future with Matt, and it took every ounce of self-control not to react.
He politely feigned interest in Matt's YouTube projects, desperately trying to keep his composure as the conversation continued.
"Ah, the YouTube scene can be hectic," Matt chuckled, launching into a detailed explanation about the projects he had in mind. But Vinnie's mind was elsewhere, his focus drifting toward your side of the conversation.
He could see the discomfort on your face when Chris joked about your future with Matt. It was subtle, but he knew you well enough to pick up on it.
As Matt called you "my love," Vinnie couldn't help but feel a mixture of jealousy and wistfulness. The memories of the past flooded back into his mind, reminding him of the nickname he used to use for you.
He watched as you smiled softly at Matt, and it took all his willpower to keep his expression neutral. Sensing his discomfort, Vinnie decided to interrupt the moment, clearing his throat and refocusing the conversation on Matt's projects.
"Back to your YouTube plans," Vinnie said, his voice steady. "You mentioned some exciting projects. Care to share more details?"
Matt proceeded to give a detailed explanation of the projects he had in mind, but Vinnie's attention was divided. He listened intently, trying to focus on Matt's words, but his eyes kept straying towards you, watching your every expression.
Matt's words seemed to drone on in the background as Vinnie's mind wandered. His thoughts were consumed by you and the memories he shared with you. But he knew he had to keep up the facade of polite interest for the sake of the conversation.
He nodded and mumbled occasional words of agreement, trying to look invested in Matt's projects, but his heart wasn't in it.
"Excuse me for a moment, I need to freshen up," he stated, his voice as neutral as possible. Before anyone could protest, he turned and briskly made his way through the crowd, his mind focused on finding a quiet spot outside to regroup.
"Take care, Vin," you said as Vinnie passed by you once again.
Vinnie froze for a moment as you called out his name. The sound of your voice sent a jolt through him, making his heart ache with nostalgia and regret. He forced a half-genuine smile, turning to look at you, as it was the second time you had said goodbye to him.
"Yeah, you too," he replied, his voice barely above a whisper.
With that, he forced himself to walk away, pushing through the crowd of party-goers to find a quiet refuge outside.

JACK Harlow X you- an interview filled day.
TW: sexual themes but no smut. Fluff!
Jack walked with you sitting down next to you.
As you both prepared for the interview. With Alex cooper!
You both sat down, you swallowed feeling nervous as you already knew that everybody was hungry for the tea.
“So… let’s start off with something simple how are you both doing?”
“Great… feeling the baddest” you said giggling.
“I’m chillin”
Said Jack.
“Amazing” said Alex with a big smile, really getting comfortable.
“So let’s talk about your come up” said Alex you, smiled saying “well, originally, I kinda just started posting on social media expecting nothing and I had two main accounts and they went viral, but at some point they went stagnant and then I created another account which blew up and every since I’ve been growing!”
You said smiling “that is amazing” said Alex.
“Now how do the both of you know eachother?”
Said Alex with curiosity eyes.
“Well… we kinda met at once of my concerts and we just really connected… her energy is unmatched and also, I value her work and her dedication” said Jack smiling, you looked over at him, as he smiled and gave you a lustful gaze before quickly looking back at Alex.
“WOW seems like right out of a book… well tell me more about the two if you what inspired you two to collab and then create a a photoshoot. I got the vision of the fragrance brand and the sexy strawberry scent. But it seems to have caused a lot of uproar on social media along with questions about the both of you.” Says Alex interested in your answer.
She was hungry for the answer, you hesitated to answer as you felt like Jack wasn’t really ready to announce anything. So you let him take over.
“Well we both wanted to work on the song, Y/N came up with the idea, so we made the song and added some tunes, we also added some ocean sounds and the sound of the actual universe. As we wanted to create something very magical. As for the photo shoot… I’ll let Y/N explain.”
“Well… here’s the thing I wanted this Fragrance to be beyond sexy. & once person came to mind Jack, so I hit him up and asked, everything went smooth and we enjoyed it, it was a statement of how the strawberry, scent was potent and stronger and was perfect for intimate moments along with romantic moments. The photoshoot, was risqué, and it was revealing but that was part of it!” You said feeling proud. You created an amazing fragrance but also, you knew that the photoshoot caused a giant controversy.
“Did you know it would cause such a big splash?”
Asked cooper with immense curiosity, she kept her gaze on you.
“Not really. I mean I thought it would be something big, and impressive but I never expected it to go viral on Twitter and just drag out I mean…”
“Yeah I get that. The response was really good but heated and controversial…”
“Yeah, I agree Alex, it was very big. But here’s the thing, people started to just attack me and him I guess because they thought that we were together or that I stole him which is nobody’s business”
You said feeling, confident… you reflected a little about all of the heat. But you and Jack had a decision and nobody had a problem with keeping things private. So…
“I see that’s respectable. & your right all of that was assumptions that people made”
“Yeah… but I’m happy Y/N is happy and we made something iconic. That’s all that matters” said Jack smiling while looking at me. I smiled back.
*time skip*
We finished with the podcast… “that was fun but… now it’s time to get to this red carpet jack!” You said rushing into the red carpet, smiling as everybody took pictures of the both of you.
You turned around swirling letting your dress have expire to the cameras while Jack stood there smiling and doing something similar. You both walked up, as he held your hand helping you delicately walking up every single step. As you got ontop you both smiled.
“We made it…. A podcast and this red carpet at the met gala… for a cancer foundation. I’m so happy… we will be able to allocate 2.4 million dollars toward cancer patients. 1.6 which will go toward the actual patients and the rest toward research purposes…”
“I’m so proud of YOU. Y/n you did all of this you went on the show you made songs, you made collabs, and you raised so much money.
Now you can give back without worrying about loosing a dime. You give back and you just receive more… you’re a special person Y/N. A person that’s hard to come by, someone so special”
The end!

could you write a blurb or something about reader getting their nails done and giving vinnie little back scratches?? i think this is so cute omg 🤭
NEW SET
this is sooo cute , thank you for the request !!
pairing: vinnie hacker x fem!reader
warnings: cussing, use of pet names, pure fluff
summary: vinnie’s favorite thing is when you get a new set of fresh nails
currently, you were at the nail salon getting a new set of nails. you had told vinnie you had errands to run and not to wait up for him, but that you did have a surprise when you get back to the house.
vinnie absolutely loved when you got your nails done. he loved when you’d offer him back scratches or torun your hands through his hair.
you had gotten a baby blue color this time, switching it up from the usual gems you’d get on your nails.
once you were done with your appointment, you paid and left to head back to yours and vinnie’s shared apartment.
“baby i’m home,” you yelled for your boyfriend as you entered the home. “hi hera.” you greet the cat, scratching behind her ear.
he was right where you thought he would be — in his streaming room, playing video games with his friends while on stream.
you pop into the view of the camera and watch as the chat moves faster, saying hi to you and asking how you’re doing.
whispering in vinnies ear, that’s his cue to end the stream. he tells everyone he’ll be back soon, and tells his friends goodbye before turning everything off.
“missed you pretty girl.” vinnie says as he hugs you tight before kissing your head.
you chuckle and pull away from him. “i was only gone a few hours, baby.”
vinnie sighs dramatically and pulls the two of you out of his streaming room and into your shared bedroom.
hera follows behind and you close the door behind her. it’s about early afternoon, none of you have any other plans, so the two of you decide to relax for a bit.
“spiderman?” vinnie asks as he holds up the amazing spiderman two dvd.
you laugh, expecting nothing less from the boy. the wide smile on his face makes you smile back as you say, “of course.”
vinnie puts the movie in and quickly climbs back into bed with you and hera.
he takes off his sweatshirt to get comfortable and pulls you against him, hera coming up to snuggle between the two of you.
the movie starts and the two of you lay there entangled with each other. about a half hour in, hera moves and vinnie is now laying on his side.
you roll over and see that he has in fact fallen asleep. smiling to yourself, you turn the tv down a bit before rolling over to face vinnie’s back.
you lie there, scratching his back lightly as you hold your hand on your head.
“mhm,” you smile when you hear a small moan leave vinnie’s mouth. “new set?” he asks.
you lean up and kiss his shoulder, seeing that his eyes are now open. “like ‘em?” you ask, showing vinnie your new nails.
he nods and lays his head down on the pillow. “again.” is all he says before he melts into the feeling of your nails on his back.
you’re not going too rough but not too light, just enough to where it feels nice against his skin.
it’s vinnie’s favorite thing, well one of his favorites. he loved the feeling of your nails against his skin.
you make your way to his hair, running your fingers through it before moving back down to his back.
“holy shit baby, has it always felt this relaxing?” you chuckle at his question, shrugging your shoulders.
you trace shapes mindlessly on his skin, making him make another small noise again.
“do that again.” he tells you after you moved your nails up and down his back.
you could tell he was smiling without even having to see him. you loved these cute, intimate moments with your boy. sweet kisses, relaxing touches, and so much love.
vinnie absolutely loved when you got your nails done.

💝 Bob please and 11. "their contact name being formatted differently than everyone else" from the are we friends, or more? prompt list
this trope is my kryptonite, hope u enjoy anon x | [wc - 0.7k] | join my prompt party!
“Why do we even bother? He’s obviously not coming,” said Hangman indifferently, leaning down to line up his pool shot.
“Give him a minute,” Phoenix snapped from her place at your shoulder, her phone held to her ear and currently ringing for Bob. “He said he’d be here. It’s weird for him to just…not show up.”
“Maybe he got tired of losing at pool,” said Hangman with a shit-eating grin, straightening up satisfactorily as he pocketed two balls.
“He beat me last time,” Fanboy pointed out.
“That’s not a competition,” Hangman retorted.
“He’ll be here,” interjected Rooster, taking a sip of his beer. “When’s the last time he didn’t show up to one of these? Calm down.”
“But when’s the last time Bob’s been late?” Phoenix shot back before groaning and pulling her phone away from her ear. She turned to look at you with a pleading expression. “Back me up here. This is weird, right?”
You suddenly realized everyone was staring at you expectantly. The buzzed, warm atmosphere of the Hard Deck suddenly felt a bit stifling. Usually you loved the teasing jibes and snarky retorts traded between the aviators over a few games of pool and a few more beers, but something about tonight felt…off.
Probably for the exact reason everyone was discussing at the moment.
“It is weird for him to flake,” you ceded reluctantly. “He usually at least gives us a text if he knows he’s not gonna make it.”
“Okay, so call him, then,” said Hangman, sounding exasperated. “Make sure he’s not dead.” He nudged Coyote. “It’s your shot. Would you go?”
“We have been calling him, dickhead,” snapped Phoenix. “He’s not picking up.”
“No, make the other one call him,” said Hangman, pointing at you with his cue as if you weren’t right there. “His favorite.”
Your cheeks burned with the knowledge that everyone else had picked up on you and Bob’s close bond. “I am not—”
“Please,” said Hangman arrogantly. “We are not in middle school. Just own it. We’ve all seen the little glances and inside jokes.”
Your mouth flapped open and shut uselessly. The pool game had been forgotten. Everyone was watching you with amused expressions. You stuttered out, “I do that with Phoenix, too!”
Hangman squinted at you disbelievingly before turning back to the game, like you weren’t even worth the effort of arguing with. That more than anything else rubbed you the wrong way.
“Okay, fine,” you said. “I will call him. And he won’t pick up, just like he didn’t pick up when Phoenix and Fanboy called, and we can put this to bed.”
You expected everyone to laugh at you, or shake their heads and go back to their other activities. What you didn’t expect was for everyone—Hangman included—to cluster around you and stare at your screen as you pulled out your phone.
You scrolled through your contacts quickly, wanting to just get it over with, but as you hovered your finger over Bob’s contact to call, Payback said, “Hang on—”
Right on cue, Hangman swiped your phone out of your hand and held it above your head.
“Give it back!” you cried, embarrassment flooding your body. “Seriously? You’re the one who just said we aren’t in middle school!”
“‘B. Bradshaw,’” Hangman read aloud, holding you at bay with his free hand. He was beaming. “‘J. Machado—J. Seresin—N. Trace—M. Garcia—R. Fitch.’ But would you look at this?” He scrolled back up. “‘Bobby.’ With two—count ‘em, two—emojis.”
“Stop it!” you yelped, more than mortified.
“Which emojis?” called Fanboy, who was craning to try and see.
“The nerd with glasses face and a white heart,” said Payback. “Remind me, what does the white heart mean?”
“Marriage, definitely,” said Rooster with a teasing smirk.
“You guys are children,” you yelled, hoping desperately that you looked more confident than you felt. You shot Rooster a frustrated look. “Could you help me, please?”
It was Coyote who swiped your phone out of Hangman’s hand, taking a moment to examine the proof for himself before handing it back to you. You snatched it quickly, sure that everyone could see just how flustered you were. They all watched you with amused, knowing expressions, waiting for you to defend yourself.
But then your phone buzzed in your hand, and everyone looked down.
Incoming call from: Bobby 🤓🤍
Someone snickered. You fought to maintain your dignity and straightened your posture, saying, “Excuse me, I have a call. I’m going to take this outside.”
Everyone whooped and laughed as you pushed in between Fanboy and Phoenix and started to walk towards the back deck. With shaking fingers, you accepted the call.
“Hi, Bobby. I think they know.”

˗ˏˋ ꒰ ♡ ꒱ ˎˊ˗
as hard as you tried to hide the jitterbugs that were crawling through your mind, they were quick to spread throughout your entire body, causing your legs to bounce uncontrollably and your fingers to tap dance across your thighs. a dead give away you were in fact nervous. and vinnie, knowing you like the back of his own hand, immediately picked up on your anxiety.
moving his right hand from the steering wheel, he placed it on top of yours, intertwining your fingers and giving them a gentle squeeze as to say i’m here and i love you.
“it’s gonna be okay, baby. there’s nothing to worry about. i’m gonna be right there with you.” he cooed, his voice instantly calming some of your nerves. “and we could always cancel if you’re not ready.”
while vinnie had been a veteran to the process, and pain, of getting a tattoo, you were a total newbie. your skin like a blank canvas waiting to be inked by the needle you were only slightly terrified of.
“no, no, i’m ready. i want to do this. i dunno why i’m so nervous. i guess i’m scared it’s going to hurt a lot,” you rambled.
“it’s okay to be nervous,” vinnie reassured. “i was too when i got my first tattoo. and look at me now,” he smiled, which caused you to let out a giggle.
“i’m happy you want to do this with me; that you feel comfortable enough to get your first tattoo with me.”
“of course i do, vin. you always make me feel so safe n comfortable. there’s no one else i’d rather do this with.” you reached over the center console to press a chaste kiss to vinnie’s cheek, prompting it to immediately flush a bright red.
. . .
for the remainder of the car ride, you sat in a comfortable silence; until finally, vin pulled into the first open spot in front of the small shop.
walking hand and hand into the building, you no longer felt the nerves that took over your body during the car ride over — you were ready to do this.
vinnie still went first to show you how the process went, and before you knew it, he was up and done — checking out the finished product through the mirror, leaving the chair empty and waiting for you.
“you ready, baby?”
you nodded with a small smile, “as i’ll ever be.” moving slowly into the daunting chair, you showed the artist exactly where you wanted the tattoo to go.
they quietly counted down before beginning your tattoo, as to give you a short warning.
three,
two,
one.
you let a short gasp as the needle first touched your skin — instinctively reaching for vinnie’s arm to hold him close to you.
“look at me, baby.” he pressed two fingers to your chin, turning you to face him. “keep your eyes on me, sweetheart. breathe for me.”
your eyes stayed on vinnie as he used his thumb to stroke your cheek and whispered sweet praises in your ear.
“you’re doing so good, baby. you’re almost there, almost done.” vin cooed lovingly, causing you to now blush.
you continued to hold his hand as you began to play with the rings that adorned his fingers, a nervous habit of yours that vinnie didn’t at all mind if it meant keeping your anxiety at ease.
a few more minutes lost in each other’s eyes, and the needle finally stopped —knocking you back into reality. “you’re all done. did good for your first time.” the tattoo artist remarked, giving you a soft smile.
"you did so good, baby! i’m so proud of you,” vinnie smiled brightly, pressing a kiss to the top of your head before turning to the artist who was now cleaning up the station and preparing for their next client. “it looks great, man. thanks for doing this.”
eyeing the beautiful design that was now permanently inked on your skin forever, you grinned from ear to ear. “i love it so much!" you marveled, thanking the artist as well.
after paying and bidding farewell to the shop owner, vin turned back to you, “how ‘bout we go get some ice cream, hm? what do you think, princess?”
i simply do not know how to end fics. i hate this
