Reacting to: that moment of stillness he pushed through his embarrassment and confusion to admit he was in love, just before he and Mac kissed for the first time. Big ol' vulnerable eyes. Bring on the fluff.

OC Fact Swap:

Vin's favourite things about Mac:

Physicality - his broad shoulders, wiry athletic frame, that square jawline and oh! Those blue eyes. Vin also loves running his fingers through Mac's fluffy hair and wonders how it sticks up naturally when his own tends to flop. He also loves Mac's large, quick hands. He may not be a maker like Vin but those hands have their own skills...

Personality - his heart of gold. Mac might try to cover it up but when he cares, he really cares. Vin loves how Mac is with Duncan, a wonderful, attentive Dad. He also loves it when MacCready drops his early-acquired responsibility and goofs around like a kid. He doesn't mind the odd immature outburst from him, either because he suspects that he's just making up for lost time.

Miscellaneous - his laugh. Vin tries to make Mac laugh often at home, just to hear that laugh. His singing voice - Mac's a real crooner, you know! The Commonwealth's answer to Bob Crosby (or was that Bing?). Most of all, the way that Mac is so tender with Vin. 'Gentleness is real strength,' he says.

Ooh we’re on a Mac hit list are we, and there’s a heck of a lot to love about our boy! Gosh it’s such a long list, but here’s a few off the top of my head. Ok here we go

Some of Ivy’s favourite things about Mac:

Physicality— She adores those big blue eyes that can never hide a thing he’s feeling, and that smirk that’s been teasing her since day one. She both loves and hates every scar, they all tell stories of hurt and survival (and the occasional silly accident) and she’s learned them all by heart. She has a weakness for those arms that have a habit of gathering her up when she least expects it — whether it’s to drag her out of danger or just to make her laugh. (Oh and Vin isn’t wrong about the hands...)

Personality — Ivy loves Mac’s daft sense of humour, every ridiculous pun or dad joke that should not be so funny but cracks her up. Not to mention the constant banter and the teasing they share, they’re on each other’s wavelength. She loves his youthful enthusiasm for the things he enjoys! She’s utterly blown away by how when he cares he really is all-in — she’s used to being the only one who loves that hard — and how dedicated he is to his loved ones, and the fact that Mac is really exclusive about who he gives a damn about gives her an extra thrill of feeling special that she’s numbered amongst them. Once she realises how marked it is, she loves how soft he is with her compared to with other people — she had to have it pointed out by other people before she really realised. You mean he’s not like this with everyone? Oh...oh...

Miscellaneous — MacCready never undermines her, she has the freedom and support to feel safe making her own decision. And he’s never made her feel frightened — the opposite in fact, she’s never felt safer than when she’s with him. She loves the trust they share, it’s rare for her to fully trust anymore and it takes time to earn it. She loves the way he smiles at her when he thinks she’s not looking. And Vin’s right, he has a great laugh. He also has adorable kitten snores. Oh and he’s always warm when Ivy’s always cold, she’s loves having a personal heater. She can make him blush by calling him Bobby.
