I finally get to add A Link Between Worlds to my list of completed Zelda games! My playthrough gave me so many thoughts, so I had to doodle some of them :))

Anyway, I love Gulley dearly. If he has no fans in this world, then I am dead. The blacksmith’s wife in Lorule says that Link was muttering Gulley’s name in his sleep when she found him unconscious in the middle of the road 😭 and this is right after he sees Gulley’s portrait for the first time.

svsss fandom is completely overlooking the weird creepy disturbing charm that comes with tianlang-jun and his rotting mushroom body btw

tianlang-jun's vast dark eyes and disingenuous yet charming smile pulling you in.. and you know that you shouldn't get closer, but something about his regal appearance tugs at you anyways. it shakes you, it feels wrong to not be looking up at him from your knees.

upon closer look, there are deep, nasty black scars burrowed into his deathly pale skin that seem to quite literally ooze demonic qi at times... movements, while elegant, can be almost uncanny in a way with how tianlang-jun seems as though his body could fall apart at any moment. his presence alone is enough to force your attention onto him with a hammering heart.

tianlang-jun is captivating in the way an enchanting lake would reflect the full moon that entices you to submerge yourself into foreboding waters you have no tell in how deep it truly goes.. that is, until the soft glimmering moonlight fades into nothing and the darkness numbs all senses with a chilling embrace.

(there's a rotting, festering mess underneath everything. the mold... is it that plant body unable to secure his heavenly demonic nature? or his decaying hope for connection and a life that will never belong to him? it doesn't matter. it seeps and consumes anyone foolish enough to get too close)

you guys are missing insane opportunity for some banger undead hot-but-something-is-definitely-wrong-and-you-don't-know-whether-to-be-disturbed-or-horny energy. it needs to be highlighted and utilized. also it makes his fujoshi spirit stand out more and just for that it gets an A+

Now that was more like it, thank you for returning to me my beloved show! This week they recalibrated Maya to frame her interference as comedic rather than sinister, and had her be friendly to Taichi’s friends instead of mean for no reason. And they also finally let Kohei and Taichi have a real conversation and reconnect after inserting that weird distance between them. I’m going to treat last week as a blip and hope the show is back to form from here on out.

As a show of good faith toward the remaining Decepticons at the beginning of a new, united Cybertron, newly appointed Senators Bumblebee and Soundwave allowed Shatter and Dropkick to enlist into Autobot City's Defense Team.

These two turned out to be... not the best choices.

The city may have fallen to Insurgent Decepticon occupation had it not been for young recruits Hot Rod and Arcee's accidental interception of Shatter's communication with the fugitive Starscream.

To replace the errant Defense Team members, Springer and Blurr were reassigned from Iacon to Autobot City in their stead.

Kai Chisaki's/ Overhaul's fiance, future wife and Mistress of the Shie Hassaikai 🐦‍⬛🐺🌸 They were arranged to be married by the previous heads of their clans, Pops and her mother Lady Sara.

This beautiful and cheerful, plus sized she-wolf isn't a pushover. As the heiress to her own yakuza clan from overseas, she's a skilled assassin; specializes with guns, knives and hand to hand combat.

She is patient and sassy, with a smart mouth. Often gets her into arguments with Shigaraki as his trainer in leadership, and doesn't baby him 🤭 Handyman's got a crush on her.

She will butt heads with Kai every now and then, but she's a devoted spouse for him.

Dabi's obsession with Mary starts out as curiosity, trying to steal her away from her birdman, then the casanova falls for her hard and fast.

Mary's over protective and nurturer nature immediately makes her claim Eri as her own child.

She thinks of Toga as a younger sister and Twice as an older brother; members of her pack.

seeing people genuinely complain about the deaths in the acolyte and throwing around words like cruel and sadistic just once again has me thinking people need to actually sit and ponder on where a story is going and if it's something they can handle watching. nothing about the acolyte has implied it's anything besides a murder mystery, and features an entirely new cast of characters — something that, the last time we saw this in live action, ended in them all dying. just because something belongs to a franchise you love, doesn't mean you have to watch it, or that it has to be your cup of tea. It also doesn't make it bad storytelling if it's too brutal for your liking. The internet gives you every opportunity to make an informed opinion on what you consume, ultimately it's your responsibility, not the show's, to cater to what you can handle.
