Tale of Mastic Trees As leaving from Cesme shore and sailing on the Aegean Sea, I looked on for some traditional and local things in Chios Island and just found out that however the mastic trees (which is the local product of Chios) can grow anywhere where the climate provides average humid and warmth but they don’t give mastic gums in any other place but Chios. Mastic is called the tears of tree; so, I had my first question for the first night to ask a local random friend. I found the answer in the most delicious restaurant ‘Agyra’ in the neighbourhood I stayed where I was welcomed so warm and heartedly. “So; why do the trees cry?”

The Veiled Vestel Virgin is by far my favourite sculpture to be found in @Chatsworth Official. The sculpting work on her veil is so incredible I still find it hard to believe it's carved from marble, not fabric. She's recently found a new home in the #chatsworthrenewed exhibition which means you get to see her up close from every possible angle. This blog is about an Undertale AU I’ve been working on for a while now. It’s called ‘VillageTale’, I have an Amino (Here it is btw- *cough*) And since I’m too lazy right now to explain much about it, I.. May or may not of copy pasted. ( ._. ) Anyways, Here is some backstory about VT!

The monsters and humans were at war, and the humans would win and trap the Monsters underground. Chara would fall into the underground, but instead of dying so soon, he would compromise with Asgore during a fight. Chara promised the monster king he’d set them all free someday, if Asgore would sacrifice a monster for Chara to kill, then take the monster’s soul and leave.

Kuldhara - Ruins of the village in Jaisalmer and popularly called #thehauntedvillage. It's a heritage site now. History points to lack of water a probable reason why the village was abandoned by its inhabitants around 200 years back but it's the tale behind abandonment which has gained currency among tourists. Tale - The diwan of jaisalmer Zalim Singh popular for his lack of charisma n wantonness was stung by the beauty of Kuldhara's sarpanch' s daughter n asked her to be taken in by him. Fearing his ruthlessness the villagers who were paliwal Brahmins asked for a day n night's time and the entire village fled the place a single night. Legend has it 83 other villages in the area fled too but don't know its authenticity. Tale of Ursa Major ‘Village Tales’ project continues with a Pacific northwest native folktale... This is the tale behind the constellation Ursa Major and a legendary fish. Once upon a time in a village of north Pacific, tough days began for the village as the famine period has come. Fishermen were coming back home with empty buckets and villagers were starving. And one day a giant fish showed up while 3 fishermen were sailing. They suddenly realized the fish and chased it and when they could reach him, because the fish was that enormus the fight between fish and fishermen went on for days. At the end of the battle the fish was brought to village but the fishermen could not survive. To remember these three brave fishermen and honour the fish, the villagers named the constellation Ursa Major after that giant, legendary fish. Thanks to Paul...

Village Tales Poland This is a famous legend of Wawel Castle dragon, Smok Wawelski from Krakow, Poland. In some stories the dragon lived before the founding of the city when the area was inhabited by farmers. "Each day the evil dragon would beat a path of destruction across countryside, killing civilians, pillaging their homes and decouring their livestock. The dragon Basilishak is told enjoyed eating young maidens, and could only be appeased if the townfolk left a young girl in front of its cave once a month."
