This one was the first I started and took the longest to finish, just because their designs are so cool but so complicated. I like how it turned out though!

if there was an autobiography based on any of the twst characters lives, which one would you be the most interested in hearing?

there's 70 parts in total

(second place was Lilia, since that guy's been through a LOT ( i mainly want to hear about the places he's been to and the food he's had tbh--- (if lilia did try and release his autobiography, it'd probably be a multi-part too- most people would think it was a fantasy story instead of an actual autobiography though lol--))

tied third was crowley and Grim as a joke, because 99% of it would be exaggerated and full of lies, i would read either one's to make fun of it-)

Okay, so I've seen a few people play around with different dorm allocations. For Sebek, I've already explored Ramshackle. What about the other dorms?

Heartslabyul- hear me out. Sebek would THRIVE in heartslabyul. Like???? The whole focus is following rules, Sebek would probably be delighted by how clear cut the expectations are?

If we're talking about sticking to the original plot... Sebek could still reasonably fill in for Ace. Like maybe not punching Riddle but after realising how strict and unfair the rules are, Sebek would be critical in his loud Sebek way. So Riddles Overblot could still reasonably happen. Also, I'm pretty sure it's canon that Sebek admires Riddle as a senior (for his grades and manner I think but dont quote me) so seeing him be all tryrant-y would make him feel betrayed.

Riddle would also like Sebek, like 'a first year who doesn't break all my rules?? Is in my club??? And LISTENS to me?????'

Savanaclaw- This one might be a bit more tenuous but still possible. Like, Sebek is pretty strong, he'd fit in. Maybe the other dorm members would be wary at first because he's Malleus' retainer. However, come on, if any dorm would understand Sebeks loud brand of Sebek it's Savanaclaw. Half the words out of the people in that dorm are yelled.

Leona would also be similarly put off by having Sebek around but he'd probably warm up to him? Like a stray cat that you fed once and keeps coming back. With this one, Sebek would definitely be able to play Jacks role in the overblot. Like cheating and causing harm against wakasama!?!?!?!? Not on his watch. After the Overblot it would be awkward between them but they'd get over it. (Leona planning to steal Malleus' loyal retainer for himself lowkey)

As for Ruggie, he'd probably make use of Sebeks earnest nature and get him to help with tasks around Savanaclaw or tasks to do with Leona. (Lowkey that friendship would be kinda cute somehow???? Like Ruggie and Sebek trading tips on getting Leona out of bed??)

Octavinelle- had to think for a bit about this one as canonically there is no octavinelle first year that plays a role in the story. However, considering Sebek would probably not be expecting to be sorted into Octavinelle at all maybe he'd fade a bit into the background. Maybe Azul would be interested in having a deal with Malleus' retainer but quickly lost interest because of how straightforward and blunt Sebek was. Maybe getting closer with his seniors would happen more during the little photo hunt.

Sebek probably wouldn't approve of the contracts and would help out the first years a bit causing tensions between him and his seniors and leading him to be in the overblot battle. Maybe after the battle Azul begins talking with his employees better and getting to know Sebek a bit better. My personal headcanon is that Sebek can cook quite well, so he'd work kitchen duty since waiter duty wouldn't be a perfect fit.

As for the twins, Floyd would've been interested in the loud Sebek but lost interest due to how strict Sebek was. He occasionally teases Sebek but no more than anyone else. As for Jade, I think he'd be the senior Sebek gets along with the best. Like Sebek would hear about Jades passion for mushrooms and feel kinship because of his passion for protecting Malleus???(special interest buddies?!?!) So instead of Riddles club he'd joing Jades club and they'd fo hiking together leading to a closer relationship.

Pomefiore- Okay. As for Pomefiore.... yes! First of all, Pomefiore also has explicit rules and expectations on what to do, Sebek would maybe hit a stumbling block with the beauty aspect but would ultimately learn how to find beauty in both his fae and human side in Pomefiore. He'd also expand his style and taste to range from things that aren't Malleus and the diasomnia 3 focused. He already was outed as knowing obscure operas so he would thrive in the dorm of drama kids.

As for relationships with Vil and Rook. Pretty good most likely! Vil appreciates hard work and dedication and Sebek has that in spades. He might not fully like how loud Sebek can be but he'd probably end up like an exasperated mother saying 'inside voices' all the time. Sebek would definitely be a favourite first year!

With Rook...well....Sebeks half-fae. Rook would be interested for sure. Also, Rook would help Sebek find beauty in the human aspects of himself also. Also, Rook could teach Sebek the bow and arrow since hes already trained in other stuff, no?

Scarabia- As for Scarabia I don't have much to say? I don't think he'd end up there. If he did though he would probably also blend into the background? Maybe helping Jamil out with tasks and other stuff. Otherwise, I don't really see Sebek in Scarabia sorry :(

Ignihyde-I also can't see Sebek in Ignihyde? Maybe Sebek ends up appreciating the engineering of Ignihyde and begins to involve himself more. There's not a lot of opportunities for him to play video games so maybe his friendship with the Shroud brothers could be based on them introducing him to video games? Eventually they become fond of the loud first year that somehow got sorted into their dorm.

So yeah, these are my thoughts on Sebek in different dorms :3

"What, are you chicken or something? Come on, it won't even take that long!"

So. Turns out that wasn't a good idea.

You had done it earlier today, just a quick little joke, one he probably wouldn't even notice!

...that's what you thought, at least.

You and Epel were playing war in your shared room, when suddenly, a loud yell rang out across the dorm.

"...oh no." You squeaked, assuming that was about what you and Epel had done.

"Stop being so jumpy, he could've just chipped a nail or something, heh." Epel smirked.

The door was suddenly kicked open, and Vil was standing in the doorway, absolutely furious.

"...oh."

"Heyyyyy Vil...!" You nervously say. "We, uh... we were just talking about you...! All good things, all good things-"

"Were you perhaps talking about what you did?" He's still speaking politely, but it looks like he's about to burst a blood vessel.

"Ohhhh... haha... you... you saw that...?"

"It's not that bad, Vil! I mean, you're okay with movie critics and acting critics and haters and stalkers and all that all day long, I think you can handle a little prank." Epel says, still trying to go ahead with your card game.

Vil suddenly grabs Epel by the wrist and drags him out of the room.

Alright, you have three options.

Stay here in the room (bad idea)

Flee, by running out of the room while Vil is busy with Epel (also bad idea)

Go out the window (worst idea)

What will you choose, what will you choose??

Sorry you took too long.

"GET OVER HERE." Vil angrily says through gritted teeth, grabbing you by the wrist as he did Epel and he drags you out of the room.

"H-hey-! Hey, listen, Vil, a-all of this was Epel! I was against this from the start, Housewa-"

"You were still complicit." Vil nearly hisses at you. "Do you have any idea how expensive that set is?!"

"...nooooo...???" You nervously smile, hoping to look somewhat confident. It doesn't work.

"Oh really? The price tag that was still on it due to me not having opened, or even unpacked it yet didn't give it away? Gehirnverweigerer."

"What did you call me-?"

He does not elaborate. He just keeps dragging you along with him, to wherever he's leading you.

Ah, that weird secret lab Pomefiore has. Why does the dorm have it? Something about the legend of The Fairest Queen or whatever...

"Vil, can't we just talk this out? Like I said, I didn't do anything here! It was just Epel! It was all him!!"

"As I said, you were still complicit." He glares at you. "You just stood there and let Epel eat my new palette!!"

"...aha... yeah... uh... sorry."

Vil splashed a potion on you.

You started shrinking rapidly. Much faster than you'd expected.

...hey, where's Epel?

Where's Epel, and why did Vil make you shrink with a potion?

Vil grabs you off the floor, his hand like a claw machine... you, the helpless toy being grabbed.

You're about the size of a handheld pencil sharpener. Vil lifts you up all the way to his face, glaring at you the whole time.

"Can we please just talk about this-?"

"No."

Well, it was worth a shot.

Vil drops you in his mouth, but he doesn't swallow you down immediately. No, of course not.

No no no, he's mad at you. He wants you to be uncomfortable.

Vil rolled you around in his mouth, making sure not a single part of you wasn't absolutely drenched in his saliva... your dorm uniform is so long and flowy that it uncomfortably sticks to you because of how wet it is.

This goes on for a full five minutes.

By the end you were honestly just so exhausted that you just let him swallow you... mostly because you knew that the more you struggle, the more uncomfortable he'd purposely make you.

This sucks. It's like a waterslide, but also one of those weighted blankets, and also a finger trap that goes around your whole body...

Vil probably won't kill you, it'd be very bad for his publicity if he did. So at least there's that.

Well, now you and Epel are in Vil's stomach. You don't know how long you'll be in here.

"...I wish we still had our playing cards, then we'd at least have something to do." Epel groans.

"You say that as if this isn't entirely your fault." You retort as you roll your eyes.

"What that have to do with us having nothing to do in here-?" He shakes his head. "Uh, regardless, you were involved in it too! It's just as much your fault as it is mine!"

"I'm not the one who ate Vil's brand new eyeshadow palette!!"

"But you didn't stop me!"

"I TRIED. YOU DIDN'T LISTEN."

"Whatever, no need to play the blame game. Let's just admit this was both our faults and... I don't know, just sit in here I guess." Epel sighs.

As much as you wish he'd admit he's the one that caused this, he's right. This "experience" will just feel even longer if you two argue the whole time.

So... time to just sit in here for the foreseeable future, I guess.

something I really enjoyed about watching Descendants for the first time was that as a neurodivergent person that it wasn't a lot that happened so I could fiddle with things or leave the room and I still could understand what had happened

Dorm-inspired Outfits (from my Closet)

A few months ago, I put together a few things from my closet based on the different twst dorms. I posted them to Reddit, but now, they shall also have a home here on Tumblr :) But I'll also add a bit more info on the inspirations behind my use of the various pieces here, just for fun. Also, pardon the socks; I didn't bother picking shoes to go with the outfits. I'll describe what shoes I would wear with each look, though!

Also, uhh... body reveal? Before showing my cosplay (whenever it is that I finish it lol)

Heartslabyul

For this outfit, I wanted to feature the clashing patterns and fabrics of the dorm uniforms, while also incorporating an Alice in Wonderland-esque aesthetic. I used a yellow fabric belt, similar to the yellow sash of the dorm uniform, and added a scarf with a rose pattern and the same colour scheme as the rest of the outfit. I also retained my watch (which I really should have switched out for one of my analogue watches, but... oh well) and my "Save The Bees" bracelet, since it seemed to fit with the theme and I wear it on basically a daily basis, so...

I would pair this look with these white socks and my saddle oxfords.

Savanaclaw

With the Savanaclaw outfit, I wanted an active and somewhat more masc look. I tried to stay true to the warm colour scheme, and reference the leather vest of the dorm uniform using the sleeveless flannel I had. I also kept my watch and bracelet for this outfit, but I added two necklaces - one with a celtic knot pendant, and one with a piece of quartz, though if I had a tooth or bone necklace, I would have used that instead.

I would wear my brown leather boots with this outfit.

Octavinelle

This outfit is one of the closest to how I normally dress. The dress is black with lavender flowers, with a gather in the skirt on the left side, giving the heavy material more movement - it just feels "Octavinelle". I added a braided belt with a silvery buckle to give a little more definition, and a pearlescent pink and purple necklace, along with white gloves. I also wore my cream coat over my shoulders as a coat-cape, à la Azul Ashengrotto.

I would not wear socks with this, but instead stockings and my black and white pumps.

Scarabia

I wanted to follow the colour scheme and ~vibe~ of the dorm and its uniform for this Scarabia-inspired outfit. The floral skirt may seem to be an odd choice, but the deep orange of the flowers and the satin material seemed to fit with Scarabia. I also added more jewellery - multiple rings, and two necklaces, all golden in colour - to complete the look.

I would probably wear either my tan scandals, or white ankle socks and my heeled leather oxfords with this outfit.

Pomefiore

I felt like Pomefiore needed a classic, powerful look - what better way to do that than with a black pencil skirt? That, I paired with a sheer blouse with satin cuffs, and a (mostly) purple, high-necked, sleeveless knit. The orange, cream, and golden stripes in the knit also reflect the gold detailing of the Pomefiore dorm uniform.

I definitely wouldn't wear socks with this - it's another job for the black and white pumps, or maybe even my black heeled boots, depending on the vibe.

Ignihyde

Ignihyde just SCREAMED for the use of my CrankGameplays "Soft Boi" shirt. It's light blue, plus it's gamer merch - the perfect combo. Add in some black jeans, headphones, and a blue and white scarf in the pocket, and Ignihyde is complete!

I'd wear either my pink skate shoes, or maybe my brown leather boots with this one, I think.

Diasomnia

Finally, Diasomnia. I simply needed to use my green turtleneck with this one, but I knew I had to use black for the rest of the outfit. So, black trousers and a black cardigan (again, over the shoulders) were the other components I used, as well as a black braided belt - both to add a little texture, as well as a hint of silver, as is featured in the Diasomnia dorm uniform as well.

I'd wear black socks and my black heeled boots with this outfit.

And with that, we're complete! Let me know your thoughts - did I capture the spirits of the dorms in these outfits? :)

I think my first Dorm card was Deuce, but I did Standard pulls a lot in the beginning, so I eventually got Leona and Riddle.
