Summary: Yuuri has always aspired to be a performance griffin rider just like his hero, Victor Nikiforov. After years of hard work, he finally feels ready to share the air with his greatest source of inspiration.

But on the eve of the festivities, in the midst of a powerful snowstorm, Victor's griffin returns to the stables bleeding and injured without her partner.

Leaving behind the safety and warmth of the aerie, Yuuri flies into the storm, determined to find Victor and bring him home.

Little does he know, the storm isn't the only reason Victor needs to be saved.

This is a really sweet message, anon!! I love YOI and I will continue to tumble around in this fandom for as long as everyone will let me!

And I know there are lots of creators still around too! Other writers @adrianasbusybrain, @thebookewyrme, @zupsgirl1, @jfmesq, and so many more! Artists like @tchaalla, @rikichie, @mrakmrakmrak,  are also still creating amazingly loving YOI all the time!

I’m also currently in the @phichimettizine who sales start next month!

I know the fandom seems really quiet and it definitely is compared to a couple of years ago, but I’m not alone in my commitment to seeing it live through this!

another reason the dream idea could work is look at the characters, they're all extreme. This could just be that their anime characters, but it could also be that this is how Yuuri sees these competitors through his personal filter.

I feel that this argument should be taken to a fanfic blog. Might I suggest @viktuurificwriters?

I've noticed that you don't reblog a lot of YoI things anymore. Not that I'm complaining or anything, but it's different from what your blog used to be a month ago. I was wondering if you could make a separate blog where you can post your music there. Again, not hate or anything, but it's hard to find your original content.

I do enjoy Yoi, still. Since the fandom feels a bit slow on my end, I don’t reblog a lot of YoI stuff anymore. A separate blog would be stressful for me since I would have to micromanage it along with this one and @viktuurificwriters . If you feel that I’m “slow”, you can look for someone else who uploads new content/reblogs YoI materials regularly.
