dope: what is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

kitty how dare u i was dreading this one because i am very boring!! the only remotely ~crazy thing i’ve ever done was, when i was in college, my friend and i snuck into the football stadium at night mission impossible style and went on the turf and all the way to the top of the bleachers so we could see the washington monument. then we almost got arrested because her phone’s flash went off by accident but the fuzz let us off the hook because i’m a very proficient bullshitter.

1. What is the favourite item of clothing you own?

My tiara Honestly, right now? I’m really into this blue halter-ish tank top and my new BTS t-shirt (it says all their names on the back!) I also just came home from school, and I left my Howl’s Moving Castle PJ shirt here, and I’m really happy to have that again.

2. Tell me about the first time you watched your favourite movie?

The first time I saw my favorite movie with in English class my junior year of high school (Dead Poet Society)

3. What was the last book you finished?

Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty. It was really good. But I also recommend the third to last book I read, which was Eligible by Curtis Sittenfeld! (Tessa, it’s a modern day retelling of Pride and Prejudice!)

4. What is the next book you want to read?

I’m thinking either Sleeping Beauties by Stephan and Owen King, Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut, or A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas (the list is very, very long beyond those)

5. When is your birthday, and what do you want for it this year? (If your birthday has already happened this year, did you get what you had your heart set on?)

My birthday is December 3rd, and that’s too far away for me to contemplate right now. Honestly, I’ll want my roommates cause I had to leave them yesterday and I’m in mourning cause I’m not 5 hours away from them at the least, and like 20+ at the most. 

6. If you were given one month and $10,000, where would you travel to?

Gee, I have no idea! But I’d probably try to take a trip with all of my friends, even if that meant taking several smaller trips to reach each little group!

7. Cake or pie?

Cake, cause frosting.

Zumba, Geeking out about Shakespeare, and I suppose writing maybe?

Talking to people, flirting, and learning languages.

5 things you’ll find in my bag:

1. 3 different lanyards that have different essentials. xD My first lanyard is my Levi lanyard that has my apartment keys and my gate clicker (the keys and clicker kept falling off my other lanyard...), my second one is my Yuri on Ice lanyard and it has some charms, my cars keys and the key to my parent’s house, and my last lanyard is my work lanyard that has both of my ID badges.

2. Lots and lots of receipts... I hoard them and I have no idea why.

3. Hair barrettes and hair ties. Lots of them. I got my hair cut a few months ago but my bangs are really short and when I pull my hair up in a ponytail, my little hairs stick out and won’t be in the ponytail. And with my job I have to keep my hair up in a hair cap so that I don’t get my hair in evidence and evidence doesn’t get in my hair haha. And it’s easier to pull my hair into a ponytail so that the cap is more stable on my head.

4. My planner/bullet journal. I carry that thing everywhere because I need organization in my life. 

5. Extra healing lotion. I wash my hands so many times a day and germ-ex my hands so much that my hands crack. My coworkers will usually come to me asking for lotion because they’re the same.

5 things you’ll find in my bedroom:

1. Soooo many pillows.

2. Soooo many stuffed animals and plushies. 

3. Cat toys. Everywhere. My cat loves to play with her toys in all rooms at all times of the day.

4. Clothes all over my dresser because I’m too lazy to put them in the hamper.

5. Not now, but probably soon, but a crap ton of posters. (I’m still settling into my apartment and haven’t found the time or will to put them up yet.)

5 of my favorite things:

1. My boys. My happiness. BTS!

2. Ummm, Netflix? 

3. My job. I’m a forensic analyst and I feel like my favorite part of the day is going to work and feeling like I am making a difference in the world, even if it’s something small like processing a piece of evidence.

4. My laptop. It’s my life.

5. Caffeine in any form. Energy drinks, black tea, coffee, soda. Whatever. I need caffeine to get through my day as I wake up at 5 am every weekday.

5 things I’m currently into:

1. I’ve started bullet journaling! It’s something different and about a month ago I started feeling like I was super disorganized and felt like I was losing control of my life. And so far this has really helped me feel a bit more in control.

2. I’ve actually been looking for a fun way to be more active and lose weight lately. And I was thinking about taking a spin class with a coworker, but then I had a thought that I should try and learn some of the dances for BTS! I use to be in dance from elementary school and some in junior high so this is a nice way to rekindle my love for dancing.

3. Learning Japanese, and eventually maybe Korean? My bestie is currently taking a course in Japanese and she has so kindly been helping me, haha. I love her to death xD

4. Looking at designs for my next tattoo.

5. Playing Guild Wars 2.

5 things on my to-do list:

1. Talk to my supervisor about training for the next step...

2. Study Japanese more often. 

3. Go to Petco and get Kookie a tag made for her collar... I keep putting it off.

4. Submit my order for the items in my Amazon cart.

5. Finish moving into my apartment even though I’ve lived here since mid-February?
