last song: hmm i can't actually remember the last time I purposefully listened to music (i'm normally an audiobook person), but the last artist/group that i got super into is mamamoo (even if it was like may of 2023 that this happened)

favourite colour: purple, usually, but ideally not a very bright one—a dark violet-grey, i think, but really anything in the spectrum between dark red and green

currently watching: the last thing i watched was a few episodes of jujutsu kaisen (i'm about half way through season 2, i think), but really i'm supposed to be watching blue eye samurai

sweet/savoury/spicy: i'll say savoury in order not to be contrary, but the real answer is sour

current obsession: i started getting into agatha christie books in early February, and in the 6 or so weeks since then, i've read about 30 of her books

last thing you googled: (before i had to check the spelling of mamamoo, jujutsu kaisen, and blue eye samurai XD) i looked up mandarin phonology because i couldn't remember the layout of mandarin monophthongs

Please don’t stress yourself out okay? Take it one step at a time. Anytime it becomes something that’s bringing you more sadness than happiness, it may not be worth it.

i’m assuming you’re talking about the book? i hear what you’re saying. thank you for expressing concern. but, there is no job that is 100% all the things you love doing. some things you like about it, some you don’t. and making a book, a publication, a job like that is almost 70% routine work, like designing and adjusting the layout, organising materials into folders, looking up fonts, photoshoping images, making vector graphic, page numbering, etc. these things are all a part of a bigger picture, which is the end result :P and i learn to enjoy the process because it’s about something i love, prompto.

Dude you’re doing incredibly well. Wisdom tooth surgery can be scary, but it’s more discomfort than pain. It takes only a few days before you get back into the groove of things even though the healing process will take a while (most of which won’t bother you). I think you can certainly make that May deadline with the right schedule. You’ve got this!

Thank you for your kind words. Honestly, I'm just awful with all medical things. I pass out if I have to have a needle and I'm not lying down, the first time I had a tooth filled as an adult I had a minor panic attack--I just don't do well. But I'll do it if I have to. I just hope I don't have to. As for writing, well, we'll see. I've tried to write this story before, although I'm still not convinced anyone wants to read my original stuff. No one will if I don't write it at least, so step one.

But thank you. I feel a bit better. I'm glad I told everyone at least. You'll keep me honest (my jaw feels okay today, but I will make an appt anyway. I swear. I probably need a check up anyway.)

he’s not just in a band, he’s in THE BAND (I’m not judging anyone outside of Australia who doesn’t know this, Jimmy Barnes is Very Uniquely Strayan and Cold Chisel/his solo work never really took over overseas but I’ve seen him live four times with my 70s rocker mum both solo and with CC)

like ok, the best comparison I can think of is that he’s the Australian Bruce Springsteen: everyone here knows him, and his music is often interpreted as being patriotic when it’s actually very anti-war

Australians are more likely to know every word to Khe Sahn or Working Class Man than they are to know the goddamn Australian anthem

(his son-in-law is a host on a Strayan morning show and after that aaaaAAAAAA video got big, the SIL got offended and was like ‘apologise to my father-in-law dammit’ because he is legit a legend)

Reason for my url: Someone already had lordpumpkin which is my actual nickname on discord and the like. The reason for the name is cool though. It was Halloween, and a friend had changed her name to “Spooky Pumpkin” and i changed mine to “Spookier Pumpkin” and well, you see where this is going, we kept trying to get our names to be spookier. After a month, I realised i just really liked the name, so I added Lord, because i’m cool like that. Also it makes people call me pump, or pumpy, or My Lord, and that’s fucking amazing. @zaydrion oh really? i’ve read that lestallum was designed after cuba. i’ve never been to malaysia or singapore, i only did some research on their architecture when i was a student.maybe, one day i can visit. cuba too.
