Clarence taking a break from his fragile sanity aka how he lost his eyes.

Well the one he took out first was infected and shit so I guess he had no other choice? But like still, kinda messed up to scoop it out like that imo… (junko enoshima core?)

Also this is long before he met cara or Lucius, he was still employed by the guild at that point. So yeah, clarences actual eyes reveal lmao (and that’s why his eye accessory thing isn’t there either, its part of his eye replacements)

Lil lore dump here:

 When he was still working for the inventors guild, a colleague of his fucked up hard which resulted in Clarence getting a pretty bad eye infection thing. The thing had to literally rot while attached to his head before he actually did smth bout it. Which was scooping it out with a spoon. Then he spent several weeks building a working replacement only to have his other eye acting up as well. In the end, he got away from that incident with knowledge on how to build pretty good eye replacements and two brand new eyes... After many years of adjustments, his eyesight is even slightly better than before. Yeah he probably should have had glasses before this cause his vision is still a lil below average lmao, but he doesn't know it any different.

Sherlock Holmes is a canonically queer character. He makes it abundantly clear that he has no intrest in women, he is not attracted to them, he has no intrest in marriage. He is queer.

If we take the canon texts at face value, he's aroace. But reading him as gay is also another very valid interpretation, given the time period in which the stories were written. Hell, maybe he's both.

Ultimately, I don't think it matters much. He's queer, and that makes me very very happy.
