Meeting The Boulets and Victoria Elizabeth Black, Erika Klash, Koco Caine and HoSo TerraToma was a delight in the Dragula Titans Toronto 4/20 show and I also enjoyed wearing my Yovska shirt in my Corinthian from Sandman cosplay. Edit: I also went to Morning Nightmare event on June 3rd and enjoyed meeting Dahli and seeing HoSo and Yovska again too in my exact same Corinthian cosplay look lol. All the local performers were amazing as well and I love the Rec Room Arcade games too.

Seriously fuck everyone who comes for an autistic person for “not having a personality.” I love Koco and I don’t think she was being intentionally ableist, hers is likely just a case of not knowing better. The Boulets, however, know that Vicky is on the spectrum and that it causes her to be very literal and scripted at times because she fucking told them in Resurrection! And honestly, it’s everyone’s fault for not allowing her to feel safe enough to fully unmask. 

She is constantly being criticized for her autistic traits in every season and it makes me so sad. Her autism is both her strength and her weakness. While it makes her seem flat to some, it also allows her to hyperfocus and pick up new skills quickly - giving her drag its deadly, highly-technical edge. 

Edit to add: this is absolutely not a dig at Koco or to discount what she was trying to say that episode. I love Koco and recognize that the Boulets and the alt community at large are not welcoming to BIPOC. Koco's overall point was important and needed to be said, I just wish she hadn't gone for Victoria's autistic traits in saying it.

The fact that Victoria Elizabeth Black called Dragula Titans on Resurrection, said she didn't want to win season 4 because she wanted to compete with a bunch of competition she KNEW was the best of the best and beat them all, and then she DID IT blows my mind. God fucking bless her, I am in awe.
