Y'all I just had a tasty as headcanon - what if Gert was Vi's prison Gf.

I found out people are shipping them already which is fun, but most seem to be during the s2 time skip which doesn't make sense to me personally but go ahead. But think about if they already knew each other?

To begin with, they match. Something about Gert was supposed to remind Jinx of Vi (at least in my interpretation: Approval from a cool older punk girl, with side bangs and lip scar, yeah)

Maybe she picked up Vi's hairstyle; she'd already busted a lip in prison, may as well match the hair too. Or maybe she helped Vi learn how to properly cut/style her hair. But we already know Gert likes to emulate the style of people she admires.

Maybe Vi told her about her family, about Powder, who had been what kept her going through her time there. Having someone to tell about all the trouble they used to get up to, how proud she was of her genius, blue haired little sister who would someday change the world.

Maybe Gert got out a few years before Vi did, promising to look out for her sister if she ever found her. She hears about Silco's daughter, a trigger-happy terror of a girl with blue hair. Could this Jinx really be the Powder Vi spoke so highly of? That sweet, bright little kid? Of course not.

Besides, it's none of her business to get caught up with some chembaron's crazy henchman. But she decides to keep an eye out for news of her anyway. For no particular reason.

Then, she hears about Jinx fighting back against Piltover, blowing up the council, redirecting the Grey that enforcers had used to terrorize Zaun and flooding topsides streets using her own ingenuity and inventions. Gert knows now that this is what Vi meant. Jinx was going to change the undercity for the better.

Finally meeting Jinx face to face in stillwater, there was no doubt the resemblance between the sisters. She feels proud of Jinx, herself and on behalf of the Vi she knew, seeing the symbol of hope Vi's sister grew up to be.

What if this is the first and last time Gert and Vi saw each other since stillwater.

Maybe that's why Vi is so surprised she's there, figures things out by her blue hair. That Gert had kept her promise and looked for Powder, finding Jinx and supporting her. Why Gert instantly reached to her for support, recognising that scared, too-tough girl she'd once cared for. Why Vi doesn't let go of her hand until she's dragged away.

Anyways I have a new headcanon now.

I think they would still be good friends had things worked out differently.

Caitlyn makes me lowkey so mad bc she's lived in objective privilege her entire life, even when she tried to be a grittier cop in s1, she literally has a true safe haven to go back to with her two parents to care for her and listen to her. In s2, yeah her mom has been murdered, but holy shit can you imagine how much food and other resources the underside could have gotten for the cost of that funeral and that casket? Caitlyn has her way because of her name, gets platformed to the highest degree for her name even if she's being manipulated. She still has every resources at her fingertips despite Jinx's terrorism.

And yet when Vi, who is literally trying to kill her own sister, just didn't want Caitlyn to potentially shoot a very young child, Caitlyn acts like she has suffered more than Vi's whole existence. "I keep telling myself you're different but you're not." GIRL, YOUVE LOST IT. YOU HAVE NOW BECOME THE KIND OF ENFORCER VI FEARED AND HATED AS A CHILD. The mirror pointed back at Caitlyn with that sentence thrown at Vi is harrowing, holy shit.

Arcane Act 2 Thoughts :D

Ok first of all fuck you for those last few minutes ;-;

Seeing the family reunited was so ;-; I knew it wasn’t gonna last but even then I was so happy for them.

I got so unbelievably hyped when I realized Singed’s plan like OMG that was so well done.

We still don’t know where Ekko and Heimerdinger are, and I’m not entirely unconvinced Ekko might rewind what happened this episode given that the frame before cutting to black seemed to freeze for a sec but idk yet… if they dont do that why’d they have to do that to Isha ;-;

Jayce and Viktor my boys ;-; I think Jayce might be in the right tho, if a friend of mine is right and what Vik is doing is connected to the void, given Jayce’s visions/hallucinations of seeing Vik’s followers as something much different I think what we’re seeing rn might be an illusion or false image everyone is being made to see and what Jayce sees in his flashes might be what they are actually being turned into. Like Jayce is clearly seeing something everyone else isn’t, the only question is whether he’s being manipulated by something evil or everyone else is, at least to me.

It’s weird reading fics where Brennan’s depicted as this overprotective older brother who doesn’t want Xaden even looking at Violet for more than five seconds. In the actual text, he’s just like… annoyed by their PDA and bickering. Besides that, he’s relatively “meh” about the whole thing.

I...really don't think it's a good idea for Vi to be that close to Leif this early in the timeline. What if she gets infected?

I mean, with the way i figure that cordyceps works in game i dont think that would happen. i dont think its capable of reproducing on its own w/o roach intervention. but also it doesnt work the way that the roaches intended, it doesnt actually extend one's lifespan like they were trying to do, at least according to the devs.

Really liked Arcane, but I'm kinda pissed about the whole Zaun-Piltover thing getting shoved under "bigger enemy in Ambessa/Noxus incoming! also Viktor as existential threat!" and our gals and Ekko getting less to do. I know Ekko was vital to the magical plot ending, but ykn I like some good class warfare and politics too, and was sad we didn't get more of all that. Ykn Sevika, Ekko, Jinx and Vi all interacting bc of Zaun would have been amazing.

Also. Just hated the Vander-experiment plotline. I mean plot device to get the sis together and at Viks cult, but we could have them at Viks cult without Vander bc of Zaun trying to pull itself together aimed in one direction. Only for it to explode like in canon bc duh, weird lobotomized puppets. Also no experiment Vander and we wouldn't have gotten that sad excuse to kill off Jinx.

She escaped, she's alive, blah blah. Those are theories right now. Right now she ended up dead in a death equals redemption thing which yikes. Also wanted to see her and Ekko planning with Sevika and the Zaunites their entrance into the final conflict thing, if it was gonna happen anyways....

Well, some few episodes were missed thks season. But overall I really liked and enjoyed Arcane!

Really couldn't care much about Caitlyn though, while I liked Vi so I was, oh that's nice for Vi! I guess? When she's not being a cop for Cait? XD the last scenes with Caitlyn were fun though, her letting V get to Jinx in prison and proceeding to distract Vi and herself both via sex was hilarious and sexy. dark mentorship under Ambessa ending with her getting Mel to finally fight and win against her mom was A+. So it was a nice ending for them,with the implication they're now fighting for the right things instead of being cops. I hope. XD
