My compound turbo setup is getting closer to completion. Fired it up last week, need to clean up the engine bay and install some gauges and do some small things before she hits the road.

The little things in life really matter.

I was washing my car at work today and one of the younger kids in the detail department who’s always asking me car questions came out and asked if he could help scrub the car down, I gladly said yes and the kid was STOKED.

The whole time we are washing the WRX he’s asking me all these questions about racing and cars and I can tell he’s pretty excited, so I asked him if he’s ever been in a fast car and he says “no”. Needless to say I said “drop everything” and I kidnapped him for a few laps around the Automall.

This dude was jacked, I mean really jacked - he was snapchatting , laughing and trying to hang on all at the same time. With a big grin on his face we came back to the dealership, and he kept telling me how badly he wanted a WRX now. It was his first time really feeling what a turbo does, so I think the VF34 swap really helped make an impression. He was so stoked.

Happiness truly is a tank full of gas or a green light. Sometimes happiness doesn’t need to mean anything, it just is. Don’t forget the little things, they matter even if they don’t “feel” like they mean anything. They do, we just forget to remember them.
