Why are so many atsv fics written with a female reader 😭 I understand that most romantic relationships shown in atsv have been straight relationships, but i still don’t think that it’s that hard to write for a gender neutral reader, sometimes people don’t even request a female reader and people still write for it, i’ve only seen like one person write for a gender neutral reader when the person requesting didn’t specify the gender

edit: i’m especially mad bc it doesn’t take a lot of effort for a fic to be invlusive towards everyone, it’s not hard to replace “girl” or “woman” with “person” and to write a fic with they/them pronouns instead of she/her, ik i keep going with this but i think i’m just tired of people writing with female reader when it isn’t difficult to be inclusive 😭
