And here’s a bloodborne crows headcanons drawing no one ask for!

Yeah I headcanons that some characters used to have some pet crows but it’s mostly a references for my fic verse too.

So I don’t have names for all the crows but I have a couple of ideas already. If you have ideas too pls share I’m listening.

Let’s begin with Cainhurst! 🛡️

📚🦉Ok Beltran from the cut content! Not sure he’s still alive during old hunters time but basically I imagined he was the (first?) crow master of Cainhurst.

🐦‍⬛⚔️Vledemyr my oc, my fav cainhurst knight! The current crow master. (Maria & Annalise’s cousin too) He was the one in charged of them before he become captain of the royal guard, he actually have lots of them (and they all love him a lot) but his very first crow is Corvus, the crow on his shoulder.

👑🕊️Ok so Annalise was offered an Albino crow, because she’s the princess and future Queen you see. *Check notes* hm Yuki is a possible name but idk either smt Japanese or slavic who mean snow or fit with cainhurst aesthetic idk.

👑🐦‍⬛ Ah Charles (oc based on the cainhurst portrait too, king consort when Annalise was Queen). So when he marry her and was crowned he was offered a baby leucistic crow (that’s why it’s brown, it’s a loose of melanine like albinism bur not complete the the eyes aren’t red or the skin pink for exemple), he was so confused about it like you can see XD probably except a hound or smt (in his dream he would have wish for a lion but there’s no lions at Cainhurst since like 60+ years or smt)

🐦‍⬛🌕🐦‍⬛Maria have 2-3 crows (the ones at the research hall you know 😢 minus the one with the guidance rune that belong to Ludwig like you can see) As for the names I was hesitating between Hugin & Munin (Odin’s crows) or Phobos & Deimos (Mars’moon) for the 2 crows siblings (well I hc Maria study astronomy so… heheh also her third one is the one German is holding x) yeah missing a leg I know. Ok also after Maria passed away the crows escape from the research hall and freak Gehrman out! They wanted to say to him hello or called his named and because crows can mimics sound and voices they took Maria’s voice 💀 he thought he was going crazy for a few mins before he found them… but really it annoyed more Laurence XD the crows really went to harass him (they know what’s up. Or didn’t take well he put them in cages or smt, or you know because of Maria. It got to the point Laurence almost wanted them dead 💀

Fortunately Gehrman managed to made them go with the very first official hunter of hunter, he passed to him the mercy blade as well.

💣🔥 Ah this one well when we first got into the hunter nightmare there’s a hunter before a gate right? Behind there’s a crow and I noticed the crow attacked the beasts but the hunter and the bird never attacked each other (only the hunter or beast) that’s why I now headcanons that many old hunters had crows too like this one.

🗡️🌕Ludwig & his crow with the guidance rune. One day the old hunters found many dead crows in the forest, not a good sign… Ludwig managed to recover a baby crow an care for it (he was so panicked at first he asked Maria for help so many times XD)

So...super duper cliché ask, but I got another idea, ya' know Steven Universe right? If you do then I think you know where I'm getting at with this. What if Player could fusion with their vessels? Like they change their appearance and gain some different abilities, but they also need to keep a balance in the emotions or at least be at some level of synchronization to keep the fusion together (Ex. If one part feels very different about something or experience a strong emotion but the other doesn't the fusion breaks)

Heya ♠️ Anon! Another Anon asked about this as well, complete with some art, so I'm going to compound their ask with this and share their art at the end of my response (cause there is quite a lot of it wow 0o0).

Within my own fic verse and self ship, I've added the idea as semi-canon like... What if the characters could fuse (a la Dragon Ball or Steven Universe)? What would those fusions be like, what would be their biology, their PSYCHOLOGY even? How would it embody their relationship? Would they be multiple people existing within one thing, or are they close enough that the fusion would be its own sort of person for as long as it is done?

Anyway I am leaving this to encourage you and others to think about their own spins on this! I have art of some of mine as well as interpretations of what those fusions function like, but they're all for my self insert haha. Feel free to just use them for ideas. Faers name is F94G (pronounced as "Frag" as in "frag grenade" and written in LEET/L337.) The fusions present are F94G/Hank, F94G/Doc, F94G/Deimos, and F94G/Tricky. (On my self ship blog are full descriptions of what those fusions have going on with them but like... Lil nervous to out that I'm sorry lol.) Anyway the art! Alright, to finally get to the topic of fusion, I think if emotional stability is what keeps it together, the Player would have a difficult time keeping it together. It's not like all of the characters are particularly emotionally volatile or unregulated, but given how experiences of strong emotion could break a fusion, there is the question of whether the type and level of love the grunts have could do so. Love to the level of obsession and ignorance of rationality at times definitely is a strong feeling, so it would at least be a lot for the Player to come to terms with.

Since we're on that topic, I think that this would also be an effective way for the boys to sort of "confess" how deep their love for you really is. It's one thing to convey it through any number of love languages, it's another to fully project the pure feelings themselves. No matter how long it may take you to fully process this sudden rush of adoration and overwhelming happiness the perspective grunt feels, you'll never doubt their feelings for you, so that's a bonus.

When it comes down to how the fusion appears, its personality, and general behavior, this can be attributed to who you'd be fusing with. With Doc and Jeb, they'd be more reserved, while Deimos, Sanford, and Hank would likely lead to a more expressive fusion. (Though a fusion with Hank is unlikely to be very verbal given how he doesn't talk a lot).

Tricky's fusion would likely be more difficult to keep together as well, considering his unpredictable personality and how the improbability drive effects him. It's a challenge that he's more than excited to take on, mind you, so even if that's a difficulty, you can make it work.

Either way, I do think the resulting fusion would be extremely confident with themselves due in no small part to your vessel's love for you (in addition to how self-satisfied they feel that they're your partner for this). You could make this a less obvious feature considering you're probably calm not completely obsessive with your affections compared to them, but it's still easy to see, regardless of who you fuse with.

Speaking of any other specific traits can be rather difficult considering how each vessel would imprint their mark on the fusion, and the fact that the character of the Player is a reader insert ofc. However, it is likely that the more dominant traits of the vessels would still make themselves apparent. For example, Hank's fusion with you would probably still find violence as the solution in a great deal of situations, while Jeb's fusion would take on much of his savior complex. If you want to get really wild, I'm willing to bet that Phobos' god complex would also permeate through the fusion you would create, and it's only enforced by the fact that you (an actual god, insofar as he's concerned) are a part of it.

As for abilities, with grunts like Sanford and Doc, you probably wouldn't gain much except for perhaps increased strength and intelligence. Hank's agility would definitely come into play, and given how The Machine refuses to let him die, they likely wouldn't let a fusion do so either. Deimos' pyrokinesis would occur in the fusion as well, as would all of Tricky's odd abilities.

I think the appearance of the fusion is better left up to your interpretation as the reader, but in my mind, you'd probably will have both a visual cross and your eyes, which is very interesting. Having more arms is also pretty basic for a fusion, so that's to be expected as well. I believe it's really up to you though, as I'm not one to assign many physical traits the Player anyway lol. Plus, this can lead to some extremely creative results, as can be seen with the wonderful art below with F94G (the other asking Anon's OC). :)

         Last time I answered this meme, I said that I didn’t have an OTP for Myles and I still semi-abide by that, however if I were to pick favorites...          @corpusdxlicti because I just love them so much, it’s so good, their interests line up so nicely and oh my gosh, Myles low key loves him so much and the two of them will probably take years to say it to each other, but that’s ok because they don’t need words sjghskdjg           @etlascivus  👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀  because Asmo breaks a lot of rules and he’s the 1% that Myles lets get away with it. Talk about a beautiful accident, it’s rare that Myles feels possessive or needy over someone and yet here he is very quietly demanding Asmo’s attention. Due to recent events, he’s going to become a lot more chaotic about it so I’m excited ;;w;;

WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO RP WHEN IT COMES TO SHIPPING?:

Like.... literally anything.           What won’t I RP is a shorter list, but because of how…. emotionally difficult Myles is, a majority of any ship needs to be plotted to some extent or else you are at his mercy which means that any ship success rate goes down to about 2% unless the planets are perfectly aligned. HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?:  

        I refuse to (romantically) ship with anyone under 18 (muns or muses) and Myles very rarely will ever be interested in anyone between 18 - 21. With that, so long as everyone is a consenting adult, age ain’t nothing but a number. Plus Myles likes ‘em older. He won’t make age an issue if your muse doesn’t make age an issue.           Some of you have muses that are hundreds and thousands of years old, so? It’s a non-issue.

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?:

       Myles? Hell yes. Considering his emotional damage...        I said prior, but Myles is extremely difficult to ship with unless it’s plotted and there’s chemistry involved. 90% of the time, he is playing to emotions that benefit him in a situation, but doesn’t actually feel romantic inclinations towards someone.  He can be friendly and have one night stands, but if someone asked to be his boyfriend, he’d mean laugh in their face and walk away.           But to answer this question - yes, I am. Only because it takes a lot for Myles become attached and actually have feelings that aren’t just surface value. If he’s gotten to this point (unless it’s the rare 1% where he just instantly clicks), we’ve probably RP’d or plotted a lot and I’m starting to get real fuckin annoyed when people drop the muse or disappear right after all the work we’ve done. I’m tired of it, Myles is tried of it, and [we] I’ve become much more weary about being the one to commit when someone else hasn’t.

          OF COURSE!! that isn’t to say you shouldn’t approach me about one!  I love shipping and some times it won’t work out and that’s ok, but never be afraid to throw an idea at me or ask me if I think it’ll work.  ;;w;;

        Idk, usually if there’s a peen out, I’m pretty sure that counts as nsfw.        My favorite ships always start as an accident - either though starters where we just see something click, or an ask where something funny happens.  Just write with me or approach me about it!  Chances are if you want to ship, you’re going to know something about Myles’ personality that you/your muse likes. If you come to me in hopes to finding a ship without any prior knowledge of him, you might have a bad time.           It’s really easy for things with Myles to get toxic fast, so unless you’re prepared for a slow burn, idk if this is the right place? Hey so I heard y’all like Wonder Woman, maybe

OKAY SO based on a conversation with a friend I thought I’d make a post that’s like, a brief guide/primer on what’s going on in current Wonder Woman comics, for anyone who enjoyed the recent movie and wants to get into her comics incarnation but might be confused about what’s different from the DC movie-verse. It got kind of long but I hope this helps people.

HOW ARE THE CHARACTERS DIFFERENT

Unlike the movie, this version of Diana hasn’t been around in man’s world for decades; she left Themyscira and became Wonder Woman only about 5 or 6 years ago (it’s not specifically stated but it seems like it’s been about that long). She also doesn’t have a secret identity as “Diana Prince”, she’s just known as a public figure.

Steve Trevor is a modern soldier. He and Diana just recently started dating, although they’ve been friends for a while. For a while, Diana was dating Superman, but then that relationship ended because Superman, uh, sort of died but actually merged with an alternate-universe version of himself who is married to Lois Lane? because comics, man. (Don’t actually worry about this, it’s not important in WW)

Steve, along with Etta Candy, is an agent of ARGUS, a military organization that acts as support for the Justice League. They also just introduced modern versions of Steve’s three buddies from the movie, who are on his secret agent team.

Besides the comics canon versions of Dr. Poison and Ares, who appeared in the film, some of the other supervillain foes of Wonder Woman in this run include: The Cheetah (a former friend of Diana’s who was cursed by an evil god to turn into a cat monster lady), Doctor Cyber (a computer genius whose brain was uploaded into an evil A.I.), Veronica Cale (an amoral businesswoman who is sort of like Wonder Woman’s version of Lex Luthor), and Phobos & Deimos (the sons of Ares).

If you (like me) are always looking for that good gay/wlw representation in yr comic books I will point out that not only is Barbara Minerva (my personal fave supporting character) in a relationship with Etta Candy, but we also see flashbacks to Diana having an Amazon girlfriend.

HOW DO I GET STARTED READING

The current Wonder Woman comic relaunched in 2016 as part of DC Rebirth (a sort of company-wide soft reboot). It was published alternating between two storylines, one set in the present (in the odd-numbered issues) and one a few years in the past (in the even-numbered issues). Yes, this is kind of dumb and confusing, I know.

The first arc of the past storyline is called Year One, and it was published in issues #2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14. It deals with Diana’s origin, how she was introduced to man’s world, and how she became Wonder Woman. You can get it in TPB (link).

The first arc of the present storyline is called The Lies, and it was published in issues #1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11. It’s about Diana in the present, having now been a superhero for some time, discovering that some of the things she thought were true about her past, are actually deception. You can get it in TPB also (link).

The present storyline has this plot about Diana having false memories of a different version of Themyscira. On one hand, she remembers her real home, where she was raised among loving sisters, but she also remembers another past where the Amazons rejected and shunned her. The “false” Themyscira is the version from the New 52 reboot of the comic, and this story is a way of retconning away that version of Diana’s backstory. You don’t really need to have read New 52 WW to understand this plot, and I personally don’t recommend it, as I found it to be very unpleasant and sexist, and am glad of the retcon.

The next arcs to read are Godwatch (past storyline; #16, 18, 20, 22, 24) and The Lies (present; #13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25). They’re not collected in trade yet.

So basically, you can either read the current Wonder Woman series in the order I described, or if you want you could go from 1-25 straight through and just be mindful of the switching between timelines.

After the current arc finishes, starting from issue #26 the series is going to stop the timeline-jumping, and the upcoming story will just go forward from there in each issue. There will also be a new writer, with Greg Rucka (who is an excellent writer I am sad to see go) stepping down in favor of Shea Fontana (whom I am nevertheless excited about, based on her past work with DC).

Also, make sure to pick up the Wonder Woman Annual #1, and the Wonder Woman Steve Trevor Special, both of which came out recently and are in continuity with Rebirth.

OKAY BUT WHAT SHOULD I READ NEXT ONCE I GET CAUGHT UP

If you liked Diana’s interactions with her fellow superheroes in BvS and want to see her on a team, she’s currently starring with Batman & Superman in the Trinity ongoing series, which also has some appearances by the full Justice League. (I personally am not a fan of the current Justice League comic, but she is in that too if you’re interested.)

If you want to dive into some older comics from before the current reboot, the current writer, Greg Rucka, had an earlier run writing for Wonder Woman about ten years ago, which is very good. Also check out Gail Simone’s run.

If you want to read some fun Wonder Woman stories not tied into current continuity, Sensation Comics featuring Wonder Woman was an anthology series that ran a few years ago, with various artists and writers doing self-contained stories, many of which were excellent.

A couple important things to note before we begin…

This is Alexios from the ‘canon’ version of Odyssey’s story, where he was taken by the Cult of Kosmos and molded into Deimos. This is not game protagonist Alexios, so some things will be different in his personality.

That said, this blog will not observe the ‘canon’ of the novelization where Alexios lost the will to live and provoked Kassandra to kill him. It will observe the 'family’/'best’ ending of the game.

The Basics

I have a 3-strike rule for godmodding: you get 3 exemptions before I stop our thread (or in extreme cases, stop RPing with you altogether). However, in each of those 3 exemptions I will tell you where and how you godmodded, in the hopes that the warning will dissuade you from doing it again.

If you attempt to guilt me into replying or into prioritizing our thread over others, I will drop you like a fucking rock. No niceties, no manners—you are cut off and I will likely not RP with you again.

This muse is multiverse - meaning that each interaction with another muse (unless discussed otherwise) will take place in its own ‘verse’. So even if my muse has met one version of yours (if yours is a canon character), they don’t know your version and will not act like they do.

Regarding My Muse

I am pretty open to Magic Anons, but if I feel like it would cause my Muse to break character, I will not do it.

I am not comfortable with writing the following: - ‘genderbending’/‘cisswapping’/whatever you wanna call it - mpreg with a cis male character getting pregnant - A/B/O verses - slavery AUs - rape/assault/sex as punishment - physical/sexual/emotional abuse (I may write such with NPCs in drabbles/my replies, depending on my character, but I will not do threads of someone else’s muse abusing mine or vice versa)

That said, that doesn’t mean I’ll turn away ‘genderbent’/‘cisswapped’/whatever muses - only that I am personally uncomfy with doing that to my muse(s).

If you want your Muse to have a previous relationship to my Muse (and one or both are not canon characters), you must discuss it with me first, at length. I’ll decide if the relationship will be included in my Muse’s canon/headcanon or not.

Mun and Muse are both 21+, and are both okay with NSFW threads—including smut, violence, etc. However, I reserve the right to refuse, and I will NOT do smut with an underage mun/muse.

I have so many muses I threw this under a cut for everyone’s sake.

            Pandora likes to be called romantic names. This is mostly because in verses 1, 3, and 4, the majority or only experience she has had with sex was with Epimetheus, and their relationship was romantic. It’s probably a smaller list to list things that she doens’t like to be called–baby or babe, honey, sweetie, things along that line.

A deal breaker would be a partner who wanted absolute control over their encounter. She needs to have some ability to control her own experience. She either prefers to be in control herself or to have a pretty evenly split experience.

            Amphitrite likes pet names that don’t belittle her or make her out to be smaller than she is. She is the Surrounding Third, she is powerful and she is a force of nature. She likes names that don’t shy away from that fact.

A deal breaker for her would be a partner who needs her too much. She’s a sexual woman, but it’s also not the highest on her list of priorities. If she has a partner who wants too much of her time to be used towards sex, she’s going to get burnt out and unhappy. And as with Pandora, she doesn’t like partners who want complete control.

              Deimos is a lovesick puppy most of the time. He loves anything sappy, anything that makes him think of love, love, love. Call him Love, call him Beloved, call him Dear, and Darling, and Treasure. He loves to feel wanted, loves to feel loved.

Casual sex is a complete deal breaker for him. While he is polyamorous and will have multiple relationships at a time, he’s only interested in having sex within the framework of those relationships.

            Clíodhna isn’t much for pet names. She likes her name, her title, or personal nicknames. Common pet names aren’t going to be something she likes very much.

For deal breakers–let’s be honest, she’s into some really fucked up shit by human standards. But the one thing she won’t go near in terms of sex is water. No rivers, no lakes, no beach sex. Heck, she’d probably be shy about shower sex. This is definitely due to the time she was drowned to death after her marriage to Ciabahn.

             Macha likes aggression, and she’s not against casual sex, so oftentimes pet names aren’t exactly romantic or sweet. She’s not against being called insults during the act if she gets to call her partner names right back.

Just don’t try to own her, and you’ll have a great time. In her long life, she has only married three times, and even then she made it clear that any man she married could never own her. You’ll get along well if you’re not presuming that she is anything but wild.

             Artemis is incredibly affectionate and loves using pet names and loves being called pet names. She doesn’t have any that she really prefers, although there are certain pet names she doesn’t like, but she’ll tell her partner that on a case-by-case basis.

She likes an adventurous lover. If you’re not willing to try something new or somewhere new, that’s a deal breaker for her.

              Morena likes to be called by her name. She doesn’t like pet names, can barely stand the few nicknames her husband gives her.

Infidelity is a deal breaker. If you are in a relationship or she is currently in a season where she is married, it’s not going to happen. She knows how it affects relationships and how it affects her, so she refuses to partake in it.

                Liliya likes traditional pet names, honestly. She likes baby and babe and sweetheart and love. She also is a huge fan of nick names that are personal to the coupon and not generic.

She hasn’t had sex yet, so she’s not sure what she likes, but she knows for sure that she could never have sex with a woman who doesn’t treat it like it means something. She’s the type to want her first time to be special, and if that’s not respected, it’s not going to happen.

                Lilith is similar to Amphi in the fact that she likes pet names that don’t diminish her. She also likes blasphemous pet names, what can I say?

There’s not much that she won’t try, but she won’t deal with a partner who has hang ups and guilt about sex. Her unwillingness to play by the rules in regards to sex is one of the reasons she is who she is now, and she just doesn’t have the energy to deal with a partner who still has to work through all of those emotions.

                 Livia is a bit of a secret romantic when it comes to what she wants to be called. Early on in her marriage to Octavian, she liked to be called ‘[my] wife’ a lot, because she was so happy to be married to him. I think she likes that later, but perhaps to a lesser degree.

Well, she’s certainly not planning on having any affairs–so that would be a definite deal breaker. In terms of the actual act itself, she just doesn’t want to be with a partner who expects her to be passive, rather than an active participant. That was her first experience with sex, and it wasn’t the best introduction.

                   Hephaestion likes to be called Beloved, and we all know it. Really, he wouldn’t complain no matter what Alexander wanted to call him, but he does quite like the ring of this pet name the most.

Deal breaker is not being Alexander. He wouldn’t be able to handle a lover who didn’t cherish him or seem to care for him. He’s not really one for casual sex, and if he’d had [many–I’ll get into that] partners other than Alexander, he would want them to treat him with the same reverence he’s grown used to.

                     Hermes is happy that you’re making any noise during sex (he likes noisy partners, sue him). Call him any  name in the book and he’s happy–so long as it isn’t someone else’s name.

He really doesn’t want to deal with a partner who doesn’t understand the nature of their relationship, whether that’s romantic or purely sexual. Hermes takes pride in communicating that, and to be ignored is not going to get you a happy god.

                   Sappho is naturally a fan of pet names, but she doesn’t like typical ones. She likes pet names given to her based on how she makes her partner feel–romantically or otherwise–and she likes pet names that are affectionate in a thoughtful way.

She doesn’t want a partner who isn’t a romantic like she is. Much like Liliya, she wants the act to mean something. She’s a poet, and a romantic one at that.
