my ship between klicks and spamton is primarily inspired by a genre of storytelling that i like to call "he makes her worse and then kills himself about it"

i'm sure there's a lot of other stories that use that trope but these two are the main two i know and that serve as my inspo for whatevers wrong with them

Our story is about a town, a small town, and the people who live in the town. From a distance, it presents itself like so many other small towns all over the world: safe, decent, innocent. Get closer, though, and you start seeing the shadows underneath. The name of our town is Riverdale.

Feel like I haven't posted in ages, so have some OC concept work I've been playing with :D (extras from a couple months ago under the cut)

Rn I'm working on doing a character lineup of my main six when they were finishing up High School, and it's been really fun seeing them all next to each other, even just roughly rn!!! (The above is me refining the initial sketch)

It's so cool seeing all of them with their canon heights next to each other, I've never really managed it in the past before, so this just feels really really exciting.

I have so much love for this series and these characters you don't even know (hides that I'm foaming at the mouth with my hand) and these are only like, the initial main six of S1, not including side characters, antagonists, characters from future seasons, etc qaiuhfaowiha;o

ANYWAYS I love my characters and drawing them is very fun rahhhhhhhhhhHHAHHAHHa (I'm normal over them)

I was going through and doing b&w portraits of my characters a few months back, but I only ever finished Olive and Cecilia's lol I really really love how these came out though, realizing I could draw like I do with mechanical pencil digitally was a big game changer for my art tbh I feel like my sense of contrast and value has gotten a lot better bc of my more recent fanart and oc art that utilizes grayscale :D

ANYWAYS these are some of my pookies and I love them :3

P.S. Tara's hair changed to being in front of her face after years of it being like it was in the lineup bc I doodled her a bunch least night and fucking fell in love with it (see cuteness in pen below)

Wonder Woman has a pretty good rogues gallery and they're barely known outside of the comics is because they've never had a great showcase. Most people can only name Batman villains because they've been making shows and movies featuring them since the 60s. Wonder Woman's villains have never enjoyed the same kind of mainstream media exposure. The Lynda Carter series was a big success and remains popular to this day, but it never used any of her comic villains.

At best you'll see the likes of Cheetah, Giganta and Doctor Psycho pop up as supporting characters on animated shows like Super Friends, Justice League, and Harley Quinn, but there's never be a show devoted to put them front and centre and against Wonder Woman herself. The movies really should've made up for this, but both seriously failed their villains. Ares shows up too late to really have any presence in the first film and ends up just a generic end of level boss for Diana to fight. And WW84 has Cheetah play second fiddle to bloody Maxwell Lord and lumbers her with a recycle plotline from Batman Returns.

This is why there is such a strong demand amongst fans for an Wonder Woman animated series, so that these characters can have a decent showcase.
