Starting New Projects

Hello, Travelers! It's Grimm (they/she), and as the title suggests, I'm starting some projects. Both are passion projects of mine. Project. K is about a group of beings protecting a realm called Veridor. The other is Project.Abyss is inspired by Hazbin Hotel, one of my favorite shows. Currently, I'm working on the characters for both stories as well as the worldbuilding. Hopefully, I can get some stuff out soon.

★ Appearance / Aesthetics A rather tall woman, around 6′ 3′’, with warm ivory skin and feathery black hair that almost appears to be iridescent when it catches the light. East Asian descent. She is rather slender and lithe and her best colors are dark purple and dark green. Has her fair share of scars. Always has at least one knife hidden on her and generally wears a short hooded cloak when not showing her face. Sometimes has a small bit of facial hair.

☾ - Character - ☽

★ Personality Sharp, cynical, and sardonic. She insists she isn't nice, but pulled Idrisse's body from a pile of rubble as she was robbing them. Lozali is someone who believes in getting even and will do things she might not want to if it means someone will owe her a favor later. She's guarded about the things she's seen and doesn't like talking about her past. Self-deprecating humor and sarcasm are her second language. Thinks of herself as a pessimistic optimist.

Lozali is nonmagical (aka Earthspun), but is quite good at taking care of things without it all the same. She’s a sneakmaster supreme.

☾ - Life and Details - ☽

★ History Lozali grew up in a very poor family in the industrial city of Alianax, one of 6 children. She has an older brother, a younger brother, nonbinary sibling, and twin little sisters. To make ends meet, Lozali’s father resorted to embezzling money from his employer, but when he was caught and subsequently sent to prison, the family took a financial blow. She and a few of her siblings would sometimes pickpocket or beg for cash while their mother worked day and night.

When she was about 8 years old, her family home collapsed in a fire, of which she was the sole survivor. She lived on the streets for a little while, till she was taken to an orphanage by a kind attendant. Here, she met [drisse Synodair for the first time. The two were fast friends, but Lozali was a bitter and detached child who needed another outlet for her frustrations with the world. Organized crime proved to be the perfect escape. She started hanging around with some unsavory nonmagical types who told her that she was stronge and special and that she didn't need magic to be worth something.

Lozali believed them and ran away to join them full time in her teen years. She’s done her fair share of hefty ventures in the past and has been on a wanted poster or several. But lately, though she's good at what she does, Lozali has been longing for the normal life she feels she was deprived of and wants out of her group. This is only further spurred on by a change in leadership of her organization. It's now run by a tyrant whom she hates.

Recently, around the time Drysriel disappeared, Lozali was discovered by a wealthy stranger who offered her a way out of the crime life. Aeon. The hourglass’s enclave welcomed her like a lost sister and gave her a bit of home that she’d always craved. Recently, Aeon asked Lozali to find Idrisse and bring them back to the enclave. Aeon believes that Idrisse’s true name can be used to release Ombrath, who can champion the underdogs.

Lord Aaron Evans originated from Earth as the captain of a massive colony mothership designed to establish a new human settlement on the distant planet of Veridore. He arrived on Veridore approximately 23 years after Dr. Smith's initial discovery of the longevity compound. In the early days, "Commander Aaron" maintained contact with Earth and served as a leader responsible for welcoming and accommodating new colonists. However, his lust for power and greed gradually consumed him over the decades.

The Prelude: Reintroduction to Grimm

Welcome, Travelers! I'm Grimm (they/she), and I'm an aspiring author who makes stories such as, ZSNL and (a newer project) Tales of Veridor. On this page, I'll be shifting my content towards ''Tales of Veridor'' as I have more interest in the project. As well as a new style in format. Sadly, I'll be cancelling the "Character Intros" series, so that "Tales of Veridor" can take my full attention. I hope y'all will join me in this new journey through 2024 of new content! Calendar System

The calendar system used on Palaamia consists of a 365.25 day long year, broken into 7 months that are 52 days long and one month that is one day long and only occurs once every 4 years. This particular day is known as Lostwil and is considered to be the day when walls between worlds are thinnest.

In addition, this calendar follows a 9 day week and a system of 10 zodiacs. All of this is measured by the 4 moons that orbit Palaamia: The Hand, The Heart, The Mind, and The Eye. 

Each month and zodiac represents a particular characteristic or set of ideals. This is laid out below. The year begins on 1 Morneve and either ends on 52 Charumor or on Lostwil.
