‘Dear Aryn. Please forgive me for what I am about to tell you. Coruscant has been occupied, and the Temple has fallen to the enemy.’ A tear rolled out of his eye. He wiped it off before continuing. ‘They came out of nowhere. A shuttle full of Sith crashed into the Temple atrium. Before I could even get there, the fighting was almost over. I arrived just in time to see a Sith deliver the killing blow to Master Ven Zallow. I… forgive me. But I do not have the words to… forgive me.’

He wept for another spell, only stopping when a kind Rodian child gave him her doll. He hugged it for a moment, then returned it to her.

<Do you feel better now?>

“Yes, thank you.”

The child smiled and left, looking for another person she could help. Devel was glad that even in such a dark time, there was someone out there spreading light. Even if that someone was fifty centimeters tall, and probably didn’t understand what was going on.

‘You probably Sensed it already, but I thought you deserved to hear it from a friend. As to everything else… The Sith fleet bombed the capital, but did not destroy us, as many expected. It hasn’t been too long yet. But I think they don’t intend to stay long. Coruscant is too big for that. I think they’re holding us hostage. No matter what happens, Master Ven Zallow’s absence will be felt for the next fifty years. I’m afraid, Aryn. For all of us, but especially for you. You are one of the brightest lights in the galaxy. I shudder to think what you might be going through right now. I hope I survive. If I do, please allow me to help you through this. It is the least I can do for you.’

That felt like such a pithy thing to say. Aryn was… Aryn meant a lot to him. He was deeply in love with her. Had been, since their very first meeting fifteen years ago. He had, in fact, been working up the nerve to make his affections known to her, the next time they met. But it was insensitive, now.

She probably knows, anyway.

‘With deepest respect, and my sympathies. Devel.’

Droite Star Wars The Old Republic AU

I love ZEXAL and also love Star Wars, I feel like some of it Especially Things Like Episode 3 and the Legends Game Knights of the Old Republic inspired some things in the Anime like the Barians killing Yuma's Friends being similar to Order 66, and how the reveal that Shark and Rio were Barians and the fact they betrayed by Vector was similar to Revan Reveal (and The Fact Merag killing Bronk; I can't pronounce the Japanese Name, Was similar to the dark side ending Where Female Revan kills Carth), so I made up an AU with Droite/Dextra

I should note Her Darth Name is Alexandra

Dextra was a young force user who served as a servant for a Hutt on Nar Shaddaa, Her Force powers caught the attention of Darth Malgus who killed her Hutt Master and made her his Apprentice in 3663 years before the Destruction of the Darth Star at the age of 9, She was trained the ways of the Sith Malgus, her training completed when she was 18 and She gained the title of Darth, and Rechristened herself as Darth Alexandra, The Sith Butterfly Assassin. she took part in the Sacking of Coruscant 3653 BBY, She took part in the attack on the Jedi Temple where she slew the Jedi Grand Master Roku, and defeated his former Padawan Kaze, while her Master killed Ven Zallow.

That's all I got, I may do some for Rio and others some day

I always had ideas for ZEXAL crossing over with Star Wars, Especially the Old Republic era, I really found Star Wars Legends very interesting, like the Clone Wars Multimedia Project

He did not like the suddenness of Gnost's request for a meeting. Things had been too quiet as of late which lead him to believe something serious had happened. At first he believed something had happened to Raen during his first trial but that was far from the true purpose of the meeting.

Seeing Aryn Leneer walk into the room shocked him. He was a little boy the first time he ever saw her. Solaris had been taken on by her former master, Grandmaster Ven Zallow. He knew Solaris idolized Ayrn given how much he had gushed about her at the time. It felt strange seeing a part of his brothers past appearing in his operations room.

"Focus, Aryn."

The lanterns in the temple gardens paint the potted plants and the steep, angular walls of the courtyard a warm orange, which is in stark contrast with the deep blue of the evening sky. Like master and padawan, the light wrestles with the dark - Aryn tries to read her master's mind, Ven tries to resist her.

Aryn - despite her young age - is all talent and concentration, brows furrowed, eyes squeezed shut, lips set in a tight line. She's a prodigy, and of course that means teaching her comes with equally intricate challenges. And yet Ven is proud, prouder than he's ever been of a student, and he wonders if she can sense that, that despite the setbacks, the hardships, the failures, she is still the greatest thing he's had the privilege to help create. As she's scratching at the door of his consciousness, yet again failing to read her master's mind (not like she's ever had a chance, but the lesson here is persistence anyways) he's thrown off balance when the little girl sticks out her tongue in concentration, and suddenly there's another feeling beside pride now that swells in his heart, rearing to give in to Aryn's will prodding his mind - tenderness. He's never particularly wanted a family, or a child, but then again he never had the luxury to entertain such fancies.

And now there's this child, and he calls himself master. But in his mind, he calls himself father too. However, Aryn doesn't need to know. And he's not ready for her to know either.

...

When the temple burns, and the flames rage against the starless abyss of the night sky many years later, Ven welcomes Aryn into his mind one last time. And amidst all the warnings of a dying master about the Empire and Darth Malgus, Aryn also finds tender thoughts fading fast.

Devel Nirol always got picked last. He was the smallest Nautolan in the village, even smaller than Imalj, who was a year younger than himself. He was also the slowest runner and swimmer, always finishing over ten seconds after the second-last.

He was, in short, the one nobody wanted in their team.

And today was no different.

Mahimahi set the game this day, with a wild throw into the path. Gori caught the pass, and held the ball for the required thirty seconds before passing it to Hijel. Hijel had it tackled out of her hands by Nomai, who was tackled by Mahimahi, until finally, Surapa took the ball and evaded all attempts at reclamation by Mahimahi’s team. Surapa tossed the ball to Bego next, who almost made it to the full thirty seconds before Hijel took it out of her hands.

By this time, Devel was so far behind that he could no longer follow the game. With a sigh, he made for the shallows instead. Perhaps he could catch a frog instead, or a fish. Or perhaps he could mend a net, or watch the fires.

He hated being so weak. Shuka would often whisper how in the old days, children who couldn’t keep up with the groups in shoalskip used to be left behind to starve. But ever since contact with the Republic, the people had come to realize the value of lives, even ones that were, like himself, worthless.

Kao Cen Darach and Ven Zallow are alive in my verse, the two escaped with injuries and residing with the surviving Jedi on Odessan.

They might be background characters but the two may show up to assist the Jazz and Tau (especially for Corellia arc), or staying on Odessan to help the twi'lek settlers, travelling to Zakuul to help transport force sensitive younglings who needed to escape from Empire.
