Jurassic World VelociCoaster — Jurassic Park is one of Universal's most popular IPs, between that and Intamin's incredible work, VelociCoaster has a solid 90-minute wait time. Themed after a velociraptor hunt, the ride begins quickly with a launch to 50 mph. It reaches its top speed during its second launch, speeding up to 70 mph in only seconds, sending you up and over a 155 ft. top hat, the coasters tallest point. After that you speed over the water in a special type of heartline roll, the mosasaurs roll. It is not only the fastest launch coaster in Florida, its the fastest launch coaster at any Universal park in the world.

Still thinking about Velocicoaster. Holy shit what a ride. Words cannot describe the Gs acting on you and making you feel like you're gonna fall out of your seat with each inversion and loop.

intamin multi launch? yes. fun ip? yes. absolutely flawless execution? yes. this ride has it all. famously a lot of people's favorite coaster and rightfully so! an absolutely fantastic experience; both ride & show. i especially love the second half, the mosasaurus roll is bonkers and my second favorite inversion on any coaster ever.

i've got a lot of fond memories with friends and this ride over the past few years since it opened. the main gripe i have with it is the first half -- i don't really care about all the meandering. still, very fun, very good, can see why people love it so much!!
