I love tasting platters! When eating in a restaurant, if there is a platter, I will choose it for sure ! ;-) Plenty of different small bites to taste, can't ask for more ! So tonight I made myself a tasting tray with all my pieces of leftovers. :-) I roasted smoked tofu sriracha, for the little spicy side ! I also roasted Berben & Wolff salami, really good and crunchy. I added a piece of VegNature Plain VegCheese, a few slices of Violife gouda, some mushroom bruschetta, caramelized onions, a fillet of balsamic fig cream, and few black olives, 2 to 3 croutons and here is a tasting tray made from remains found in the fridge ! :-) _______________ J'adore les plateaux dégustation! Au resto s'il y a un plateau, c'est certain que je vais le choisir ! ;-) Plein de petites bouchées différentes à goûter, quoi demander de plus ? Donc ce soir je me suis fait un plateau dégustation avec tous mes petits restes. :-) J'ai du tofu fumé sriracha, pour le petit côté piquant ! Je les ai fait rôtir, j'ai également fait rôtir le salami du Berben & Wolff, vraiment bon et croquant. J'ai ajouté un morceau de fromage VegNature Nature, quelques tranches de gouda Violife, un peu de bruschetta de champignons, des oignons caramélisés, un filet de crème balsamique à la figue, et quelques olives noires, 2 à 3 croûtons et voila un plateau dégustation fait à partir de petits restes que l'on trouve dans notre frigo !

Today, I took a quick trip to Gourmandises Louca, where I took the opportunity to buy individual cakes. I chose the carrots one and the rolled brownie style : delicious ! And what about their little chocolate pies, it's my favorite ! :-) . ________ . Aujourd'hui, je me suis payé un petit tour aux Gourmandises Louca. J'en ai profité pour acheter de petits gâteaux. We had a great day of deliveries and had a great time at Debra's Natural Gourmet, where we met interesting people and had our products tasted. It was a beautiful experience. But now, we're too exhausted to drive, so we stopped to sleep on the way home. We found a comfortable and very good hotel. I think we will sleep at 9pm and get up at 8 or 9am, so sleep around the clock ! ;-)  We are at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, more expensive than yesterday, but we are too tired to look for the gem, but a very good value for money. It is very comfortable, with the continental breakfast. We are in Hooksett NH. To be honest, I can't tell you much about the city, nor the restaurants, but the hotel is great. Tonight, I made my own vegan wine and cheeses ! :-) I used my still-in-test brie, a Nuts & Cranberries, some vegan pesto, a few fruits and that seitan duck I bought at Pure-N-Simple in Glens Falls NY. A very simple and delicious platter ! :-) _______________ Ce soir je me suis fait un petit vin et Fromages véganes ! :-) Avec mon futur brie qui est en test, un Noix & Cannegerge, un peu de pesto végan, quelques fruits et du végé canard de seitan acheté chez Pure-N-Simple à Glens Falls. Today a quick and easy lunch: a salad of avocado and tomatoes accompanied by a tomato and cucumber sandwich ! :-) For the salad, it's very simple: the mix of mesclun salad, avocados, some capers, fresh basil, cherry tomatoes and flakes of imitation bacon, a olive oil flavored with blood oranges, salt and pepper and that's it! For the sandwich, I made a mix with my VegNature Nature Goa'ttitude VegCheese, which I left at room temperature for softening, and mixed it with a hint of old-fashioned mustard and fresh dill, salt and pepper to taste, spread on bread and add tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions and spinach. The perfect lunch, fresh and delicious ! :-) ________________ Aujourd'hui un petit lunch simple et rapide : une salade d'avocats et de tomates accompagnée d'un sandwich aux tomates et concombres ! :-) Pour la salade, c'est très simple : le mélange de salade mesclun, des avocats, quelques câpres, du basilic frais, des tomates cerise et quelques flocons de simili bacon, un peu d'huile d'olive aromatisée aux oranges sanguines, sel et poivre et voilà ! Pour le sandwich, j'ai fait un mélange avec mon Vromage Chèvromage Nature de VegNature, que j'ai laissé à température pièce pour qu'il amollisse un peu, et je l'ai mélangé avec un soupçon de moutarde à l’ancienne et de l'aneth fraîche, sel et poivre au goût, tartiner sur le pain et ajouter tomates, concombres, oignons rouges et épinards. Sunday morning is Benedict tofu egg time ! ;-) In fact, it is very simple. Toast a slice of tofu, a slice of bacon and a slice of seitan salami, and for the sauce, cashews and almond milk, a little salt and pepper, turmeric for the color and black salt for the egg taste. Blend all the ingredients of the sauce in the mixer until a homogeneous and cook it on a low heat with a nut of vegetable butter while stirring constantly. As soon as it thickens, add some vegetable cooking cream and it's ready ! For assembly: a roast bun, Plain VegNature VegCheese, salami, bacon and tofu, cover it with sauce, and voilà ! :-) . . . Le dimanche matin, c'est toeuf (tofu+oeuf) bénédictine ! ;-) En fait c'est très simple. On fait griller une tranche de tofu, une tranche de végé bacon et une tranche de salami de seitan, et pour la sauce, des noix de cajoux et du lait d'amande, un peu de sel et de poivre, du curcuma pour la couleur et du sel noir pour le goût d'oeuf. On met tous les ingrédients de la sauce au mélangeur jusqu'à l'obtention d'une sauce homogène et on fait cuire à feux doux avec une noix de beurre végétal en brassant constament. Dès que ça épaissit, on ajoute un peu de crème de cuisson végétale et c'est prèt ! Last week we made our delivery to the USA and participated in a seminar in the natual and specialty channels. So we ran, or rather ride, all week : Plattsburgh, Albany, NYC, NJ, Glens Falls, Northampton, Beverly & Boston. But we did took some time to buy a few products we can't find here ! Since the Holidays is also the season for wine and cheeses, we stocked up a little bit ! ;-) _________________ La semaine dernière, nous avons fait nos livraisons au USA et avons participé à un séminaire sur la vente et l'exportation de produits santé, bio et végé. Nous avons donc couru, ou plutôt roulé, toute la semaine : Plattsburgh, Albany, NYC, NJ, Glens Falls, Northampton, Beverly et Boston. Mais nous avons quand même pris le temps de faire quelques achats de produits que nous ne trouvons pas ici ! The first meal we had on the road was at Ritu's Spice Utsav in Manchester NH. Very good and really affordable, it's an Indian vegetarian restaurant, but a good part of them is vegan and it's very well identified, so we can't go wrong! ;-) We will go back for sure! . . A colorful salad ! For this salad, I used a mesclun mix to which I added cherry tomatoes, orange peppers, green onions, pink radishes, cucumber in thin strips, flower petals and cubes of vegan Gardein pork grilled in a pan with some VegNature butter and spices! On the terrace with a rosé and a bun spread with VegNature butter ! ;-) . . Une petite salade toute en couleurs !  Pour cette salade, j'ai utilisé le mélange mesclun auquel j'ai ajouté des tomates cerise, les piments oranges, des oignons verts, des radis roses, du concombre en fines lanières, des pétales de fleur et des cubes de végé-porc grillé à la poêle avec un peu de beurre VegNature et des épices ! It feels good to get back to my regular beat. This morning, clementines, a bagel with VegNature Nuts & Cranberries VegCheese and a coffee with a touch of Vegnature cream and the hazelnut-flavoured maple syrup from Black Shank!
