Glisten's Fashion AU!

Someone on Fandom gave Me the Name, im still thankful for it- or Else i wouldnt have any Name honestly- 😭

Anyways.. Here comes the Star of the Show, Glisten!:

Glisten Takes Dandy His place in this AU. Yet isnt evil, okay Dandy is in the middle of Good and Bad but still. The Things that Happend arent fully His fault, If He knew what Could have Happend He wouldnt have agreed to that. (But im Not gonna Tell IT yet 👹). Now instead of Astro AS a Main we have:

Rodger! He is tired.. yeah and also tried to give him Something cozy yet also fancy.. the Stars on his cheek(?) were drawn by Toodles and Glisten added the Blush.

Mentioning Toodles, Here she is-! She Kinda is the Shelly in this AU.. she is overshadowed by the other main's popularity... yet the Others try to get her cheered Up, especially Pebs!

And Here is Our Boy Pebble! Pebble IS still a Main Just a different breed of Dog now (this Case poodle). Originally the sparkle Bandana was owned by Toodles but then Pebble got it due it becoming too small for Toodles. Also Pebble is now the Dog of Toodles.. Not of Dandy-

Now to Finn! He Kinda is Like Vee.. Just that He isnt the Game master (is it called like that-?) Like Vee in one of her Game shows... now He is a judge of the Fashion Shows! He can be very blunt.. also Barnaby in His head is wearing sunglasses (also the reason He wears purple). Also since Vee and Dandy have Like Beef, its now with Glisten and Finn. Lol. Also Here Barnaby:

Teagan is Like a Queen, Wise, Nice and Fancy. She often has her eyes closed except when you fuck Up Badly and she is mad. And no. She is N O T Rodger's wife. I refuse to ship Teacase.. i Love Reflective Detective.. ahem.. but she is an Aunt to Toodles! Now.. since we got the Mains, now we Go to the Starters!

The First Starter is Dandy! He is a Gentleman.. and yeah i dunno what to say.. but since Dandy is a Starter, His Buddy of course too!

X-Files OctoberFicFest Day 10: Aurora Borealis

They climb out the window to sit on the roof like teenagers, Scully in the vee of Mulder’s legs with his arms around her. She leans back against his chest. The actual young people are in the back pasture, having a bonfire. Mulder and Jack spent the afternoon watering a wide circle around the fire pit, just in case. Neither of them are under any illusions that the younguns will be on their best behavior. Jack’s a bit of a wild child, for starters, and he’s their child, so he’s too smart for his own good. But they’re both proud of how far he’s come.

Grace is with her Uncle Charlie and her cousins at Maggie’s house. It seemed like the best solution; Jack and his friends are rowdy, and Grace never goes to bed when her brother’s out of the house. She wants to be with him all the time. He tolerates it pretty well, but still, bonfire night isn’t for littles.

“Like old times,” Mulder says in her ear.

“Mm,” she says. “Playing hooky, just the two of us.”

“Better, though,” he says. “Look at what we get to come home to.”

She rubs her hand up and down his thigh. It’s still firm under his jeans. “Too happily ever after for you?”

“Au contraire, mama bear,” he growls softly. “It’s just right.”

She smiles to herself and lets her head loll on his shoulder.

“Do you think it’s going to happen?” he asks.

“If it doesn’t, it’s still nice up here.”

He kisses the side of her head. “It is.”

They sit and wait, watching the sky. It is like old times, in some ways. They used to stargaze like this. She remembers the dancing lights in Idaho. She still can’t explain them, although she has some hypotheses. She flinches sometimes if she sees a satellite—she’s seen Mulder do it too—but tonight she feels entirely safe and utterly content.

“Look.” His voice is hushed. “Oh, Scully, look.”

In the dark sky, a sudden sifting of color: red, purple, pink, green. Sheets of shimmering pigment ripple against the velvet backdrop of the night. It’s gorgeous. It’s unreal. Tears rise in her eyes. She can hear whooping from the back pasture as Jackson and his friends catch sight of the lights.

“I never imagined it would look like this,” Mulder says, awed.

“The radiation from the solar wind excites particles in the plasma of the magnetosphere,” she says. "Those particles precipitate into our atmosphere. Borealis pertains to the wind, but it's really more of a rain, in a way."

“It’s magic,” Mulder says.

“I didn’t say it wasn’t.” She cuddles against him. “When you think about it, the odds are astronomical, Mulder. Here we are, on the roof of our house, after decades of a life where that wasn't even a possibility, on a planet that’s just the right distance from the sun to enjoy the benefits of the radiation, and we evolved such that these lights, this phenomenon, occurs in the visible spectrum of wavelengths that our eyes can see. And we have specialized cells in our eyes that allow us to perceive these specific wavelengths as colors, and a brain that can fill in the shades between.” She tilted her face to kiss the broad sweep of his jaw. “I can call that magic, or even a miracle.”

“I think all of this is a miracle,” he murmurs, wrapping her up in his arms.

She’ll kiss him later, when the lights fade, the two of them mellow with the poignant contentment of middle-age. They’ve earned their peace. For now, they watch the aurora dance, and the stars hold no malice.

I'm just going to throw this out here. Vox only seems as weak as he does because of his role in season one. All the Vees had a scene where they lost control and were just honestly pathetic, and a scene where they were cool and collected, but because of how it's set up, it looks like people completely overlook Velvette being pathetic and focus on Vox's patheticness. Which is fun to play around with, but I feel like a lot of people just don't acknowledge he's, in theory, a fairly decent threat, especially against the Hazbin Hotel. There's definitely going to be a reason he's one of the main antagonists.

It's sort of long, so cut here lol.

For starters, to back up my claim of they were all pathetic at some point, when we first meet Velvette, she's throwing a hissy fit about Val. He's literally right there, and yet she can't be assed to do anything about it and instead calls Vox to solve her problems for her, and then complains about Val ripping apart her models, despite her not doing anything. People love to riff on Val and Vox for being man children, which, yes, they are at times, but they completely disregard the fact that when we first meet Velvette, she's acting like a spoiled brat. Valentino is the same, throwing a fit about Angel Dust. They're all equally pathetic.

The thing is, Velvette and Valentino were glossed over fairly quick. Vox had a whole song about it.

The same thing about them all being equally cunning and collected, which I actually doubt myself. I think Vox is the most collected of them all, not Velvette. Yes, he did the same, basically had a temper tantrum when he found out Alastor came back, but it makes logical sense when we look at their interaction later and Vox is scared of him. He's worried. But once he calms down, he sits down and comes up with a plan that's actually very logical and well-thought out. Er, to some extent. Picking Pentious probably wasn't the greatest, but I think, based on the drones we see everywhere later on and his reaction to Pentious getting caught, Vox wasn't taking Valentino's idea of putting a spy in the hotel seriously. He's nonchalant, and has a backup plan. And the way he handled the paparazzi is a sign that he IS able to deal in high-stress situations with ease.

And no, that's not saying Valentino and Velvette don't have their moments. In Masquerade, Val's smart about how he approaches Charlie being there, and Velvette's extremely clever in Scrambled Eggs (Er, possibly. I doubt she and the other Vees didn't talk about it before hand and theorize then, and their goal was NOT to start a way but to gain info, but her noticing Carmilla's reaction was definitely a point for her.). But they're not more clever than Vox, they just get more screen time as actual villains, probably because of their roles in this season. Velvette's there explicitly to set up for the reveal Carmilla killed an angel, and Valentino's meant to be the main enemy of Angel Dust throughout the series to build his character. Vox? Well, right now we just need to know he exists and doesn't like Alastor, for future plot lines. And also comedic relief in episode 8, because, come on, almost everything he says in that episode is just funny. (And also emphasizing how much he hates Alastor/is obsessed with Alastor losing) And yeah, the pacing about introducing him could have been better, building him up to be a threat and then having Alastor take him down, but for 8 episodes, they did a fair job. And a part of me wonders if we're meant to overestimate Alastor and underestimate Vox, especially after the Adam fight.

And why I say he has the potential to be a big threat to the Hotel has to do with the scene we have when he's getting introduced, and what we see in Helluva Boss about Voxflix being on Blitzø's phone. He's everywhere, he has power over his viewers, and his grip on media is so tight, even Hellborns use his services. What's the Hotel's main issue at the moment? A lack of guests, which is at least in part caused by poor advertising. Anybody else think it's not coincidence the 'emergency broadcast' happened just as the Hotel's advertisement began to play?

Tl;dr, Vox is more powerful than people seem to believe, even if he's pathetic as all hell a lot during his limited screen time, probably mostly because he has no big role in the current season.

I think it’s time to share my insane vaggie season 2 predictions

So for starters, vaggies name starts with a v right? So does velvet’s!! So I’m thinking that through a series of events vaggie will become an antagonist and end up working (and maybe dating :0!!) for velvet after they kill Vox and Valentino of course.

And in order for that to happen, chaggie needs to break up ;-;

I know it’s cruel but they get back together in season 3 !!

How did we get here? For starters velvet wants to kill the other two vees and take control of their souls! But she needs muscle and brains to do that successfully, seeing how she is the youngest vee. She sees potential in vaggie before and after learning she’s an angel…

Velvet has a lot of beef with Charlie for some reason we don’t know yet but she hates the princess of hell. So Velvet is always hitting on vaggie in front of Charlie to piss her off, vaggie gets super flustered cuz she’s not used to very positive attention from another hot woman.

But some where in season one(in my twisted world) velvet gets vaggie alone and offers her a job, she has Ulterior motivessure but it’s a genuine offer that will always be available. Vaggie is surprised by this and her opinion on velvet gets a little more positive.

After the fight with lute, vaggie spirals with guilt and breaks up with Charlie thinking it’s for the best (she’s dumb). So she calls velvet up and asks if the job is still available, velvet is ecstatic. She moves vaggie into her penthouse and gives her a full makeover it’s so cute!!!

It was his first night out after leaving the Vees, after abandoning everything that had once been his afterlife in Hell. No more soul contracts, no more sex work, no fancy penthouse to retreat to, and significantly weaker powers. If Valentino were to tell a past version of himself about this decision, he would've called himself crazy.

And yet, the moth felt freer than he had in years, the next stage of his metamorphosis unfolding by increments as he adjusted to the changes. Starting new took time, and without the financial support of Voxtek, Val had to rely on his own savings. Which were by no means little but finite nonetheless.

Still, old habits didn't die easy, and so he found himself in one of his favorite sex clubs, eager to indulge and find distractions. Which came in the form of several drinks and smoke, inducing a high that brought him to the dancefloor, only to bump into one of his former employees.

Accurate depiction of literally just the last run I was in

I have such a huge amount of respect for distractors, and I got Goob yesterday, so this was my second run with him.

My first was so good, there were 2 Pebbles and me, and I had to fully take over floor 6 instead of being emergency in case one got away or just to make extra sure nobody got hit, and got me and my team to floor 13, nobody died except for of their own free will except for the Pebbles (I think, 1 disconnected but I wasn’t looking when the other died) and, even then, floor 13, the Tisha I was with sacrificed themselves to Sprout (we also saw Vee on that run, my luck is always decent when I’m NOT Rodger) so we absolutely could have lasted longer if not for that, at most I would have lost Sprout a few times, but he’s huge, loud and slow, the Tisha could always avoid him until I got him back.

This run however…

Roblox broke my chat so I couldn’t talk in it so I couldn’t inform people that I was, in fact, TRYING to find the other one, or call anyone out on their bullshit (it happens when you get teleported to the game while typing or while the game thinks you’re typing)

Teagan and Astro were talking a whole lotta shit about me while literally leading the twisted AWAY from me. Floor 1? Brightney and Gigi, but I only knew it was Gigi because of capsules because no matter where I ran, I COULD NOT find her, because the bitches all kept getting found by her and took her to different spot in the map where I couldn’t see her, all the while, I get in chat:

“Goob distract, distract! I’m taking any meds!” - Astro

“This Goob kinda bad at distracting ngl” - Teagan

I was also trying to avoid Teagan because we have the same stealth so they’d start chasing her at any moment if I ever forgot that.

I honestly should have settled in one spot with just Brightney but I mostly didn’t. I did a little in the middle of the map hoping I could find the other twisted (again, despite all that running around, had no clue it was Gigi except for picking up a capsule at the end out of curiosity, that’s how bad the ‘leading them away from me’ thing was) but with Teagan I didn’t wanna risk blocking the path fully for her so I had to get back to running around.

Also, HOW is an Astro getting hit with 6-7 other people in the lobby and 5 star stealth? I get if movement speed is an issue (it’s not for Astro) as I typically play Rodger but, sometimes, it’s okay to let the twisted switch targets, I’ve quite literally died at times BECAUSE I didn’t want to lead them to people by accident, even though they definitely would have survived because they’ll be faster or closer to a place they can circle than I’ll be.

But yeah, can’t lie, because of them, I started getting reckless cause I didn’t want people to think I was bad because they were stupid and led them away from me, my bad LOL so I died on floor 4, which is SO embarrassingly short for me, even when I’m figuring out a new toon AND not used to distracting AT ALL, I can typically get to floor 10 before I have one of those moments where I just CANNOT lose them, but, Y’know what, if you wanna brag about distracting SHRIMPO as Teagan, how about you take Tisha too? Actually, you can take all of them while there are starters and Finn also in the game causing havoc and leading them to and away from you too and not being able to avoid them or lose them because, to no fault of their own, they’re new and are figuring out everything and don’t realise they can quite literally circle ANYTHING to lose them (except the bean bags in the projector map, I don’t trust them)

If you cannot do a simple job of avoiding Twisted and losing them (as Teagan, a 3 star movement survivalist, slow toons are completely valid in not being able to lose them) and are not going to help me and instead make my job worse so I can’t settle in a spot and just get into a flow where you can also safely avoid me, don’t complain about me being bad, learn to help your distractors better, or they’re just gonna struggle cause they’re gonna be getting ambushed in all the chaos of you not letting them do their job calmly, and die on an early floor.

Advice? Maybe, what I’VE found helpful anyway whenever I’ve played as Tisha, Razzle and now Goob: If you want to help distractors, then either just let them run for a bit, if you have higher stealth you can also follow (do NOT follow distractors too closely if you share stealth or lower) or just stay for a few seconds and trust them to find the twisted, or go as normal and keep an eye on distractor so if you ever get chased, you know where to take the twisted to.

If you see the distractor while being chased, either lose the twisted close to the distractor, or just run past/through them from BEHIND or the side, not in front, cause the twisted chasing you could run into the distractor, also be careful doing that if you share stealth (Tisha, Flutter, Razzle (odd floors) and Pebble all have 3 stealth, Goob is the only one with 2).

If you see the distractor doing small turns, like, they have to sprint just to keep a good distance, it’s best to avoid them entirely if you can, even if you have higher stealth, twisted can easily switch targets due to small turns. But also don’t be afraid to ask the distractor to move, cause, likely, if they’re blocking the path, it’s not a good spot anyway. Also, feel free to tell them to sprint a lil more if you feel the twisted are too close to them, it makes me anxious they’re gonna get hit too.

If you share stealth with the distractor, just try and avoid them as best as you can. Accidents happen where they switch to you, but just lose them as quick as possible and don’t stray too far from the distractor, otherwise the twisted will just go everywhere again and chaos will happen.

I’ve just recently been on a run and I must share with the class as to what happened cause it was very interesting..

So, I basically just join a normal run as goob, and seeing that there was already a pebble on the team I offered to be a backup distractor Incase there’s more than one main or if they get hurt, and they didn’t mind me lending a hand. unfortunately, a dastardly rudie which had both dog plush and brick on as there trinkets was in our run. Almost everyone was very confused as to WHY they’d pick that set up in the first place, but I just assumed it was someone new and figuring out the trinkets (oh how wrong I was). On the second floor we find a bandaid and try to get ginger over to pick it up only for rudie to grab it when she didn’t get there yet.

Now obviously I was a little annoyed, since keeping ginger alive in a way ment keeping everyone else alive too, but I didn’t say much cause it was only Floor 2.

As we progress I realize that rudie isn’t a starter at all but instead he’s purposely trying to grief and take the twisteds away from pebble. I offer to take over since they were on one trying to keep all of the twisteds agrod on to them, and since I had lower stealth than rudie. Every once in a while he’d try to run in to me only to phase through both me and the twisteds (thank god for low stealth) and then comes the dreaded floor 17. We realize that both Astro AND pebble are on this floor, it was one of the newer garage maps too, and since it was very cramped and we needed 8 machines done I basically accepted that t pebble would be this runs downfall. I tried to distract Astro and the others besides pebble when I could, when my ability highlights someone in the tiny cramped room with the tv displaying glisten and vee. It was RUDIE. He was hiding as everyone else was getting killed, so I ran in there and basically yelled at him to “get to work” kind of as a joke, but I also wanted to get him killed before I die, because I’d rather get stuck in cement then let that rudie witness what he’s wanted. I stepped into view by the door frame of the room and behold, twisted pebble spots me. Rudie is there with me too, but hugging the back of the door way, and I wait for the right moment to use my ability and pull him right in pebbles way so I can hide at the last second. AND IT WORKS. The evil rudie has finally gotten what they deserved for griefing and leading twisteds to people. I ended up dying my self because the run was honestly a lost cause. remember kids, griefing is only good if they deserve it (but really don’t actually grief anyone, I just did it because that rudie made it very difficult for everyone to survive and they were purposely hurting others on the team)

Pinky, my friend, that is an absolute gem of a story oh my god. That rudie absolutely deserved that for real. I've only griefed one person lately, and to preface their display name was literally "BestProShipper" so...

I recently started thinking about how Sonic characters would play Dandys World. And this is what I’ve thought of right now.

Right now I’ve only been exploring 5 characters. But maybe I’ll do more lol. That being Shadow, Silver, Sonic, Espio, and Rouge. My #1 favorites.

Silver and Shadow started playing together before anyone else. They found the game randomly one night and decided to”Eh sure let’s try it.”

Silver and Shadow both chose Poppy as their starter toon. Silver chose her cause she looked fun to play. And Shadow chose her cause of her ability.

After playing their first few rounds (and being kinda confused on how to exactly play). Shadow proceeded to look up the wiki and spend like 30 minutes reading it. While Silver tried some solo runs.

Shadow enjoys being a distractor. But hates extracting and skill checks. He has terrible timing and is impatient as hell. And would rather leave it to Silver.

Silver loves extracting and has great timing for skill checks. But he would never distract. He doesn’t like the twisteds chasing him. And leaves that to Shadow.

The first toon Shadow bought was Looey. While Silver bought Tisha.

After seeing they would keep getting stuck on a certain number of floors. Silver suggested to Shadow to invite others to play with them. It took five more rounds of dying on the same floor they keep getting stuck on to convince Shadow.

Silver invited Sonic, Espio, and Rouge. With Shadow kinda just messing around in the Ui as Silver stood there and explained to them the basic game.

Sonic and Rouge chose Poppy as their starter toon. And Espio chose Boxten.

Shadow is a Goob main. And Silver mains Glisten.

After Sonic saw Pebble in the lobby once. He immediately decided that’s the toon he wanted. With Silver immediately dying on the inside at that.

Espio and Rouge leaned towards maybe wanting Astro and Vee. After looking at their stats and info in the shop.

Shadow was able to partly convince Espio and Rouge to go for Rodger and Teagan first. But the two still bring up possibly wanting Astro and Vee a lot. With Shadow trying to delay that as much as possible. (This man doesn’t want to do a Dandy run with Espio. But knows he’s gonna have to one day. Cause Espio is stubborn).

Silver and Shadow love bringing on new players in their runs. And will protect them with their lives.

Silver and Shadow don’t like calling themselves “pros”. Cause they don’t want to be affiliated with the entitled people.

Sonic plays as a distractor when getting Looey. And Espio and Rouge play as extractors and support.

The tavern was packed and two of her employees had failed to show up for their shift. Which led to a somewhat frazzled Vee, even if she didn't show it outside of having a shorter temper and less patience than usual. The human was winding through the main room, dropping off refills and picking up glasses and food remnants. One blessing for the day - at least Cookie showed up. That man's job was the only one Veda couldn't do herself.

"Callaghan! Sit down before you fall down," she called out loud enough to be heard over the crowd as she slipped past table after table. "Oakenfold! I swear on all of Withermore that if you put one more scorch mark on my table, you'll be tied to it until it fades. Vallance! Grab her ass again and I'll personally provide her a cleaver to cut off your hand."

Vee made it behind the bar, handling the dirty mugs as she visually checked in with those seated before her. There was one that hadn't been there her last circuit, wiping her hands on an already dirty rag before approaching with one eyebrow raised.

"Oh, don't give me that look. Someone's got to keep them in line to keep this place from devolving into a warzone. What can I get you? In case you haven't noticed, we're short staffed tonight. So you can fuck right off if you want anything that doesn't come from a bottle or a barrel."
