there’s something about Vee having vitiligo that feels…uncomfortable to me as a person with that condition

maybe because she’s a reptile that’s whole thing is that she can change into literally whatever she wants

maybe it’s because it’s part of that dehumanization where every animal/creature into person design is given vitiligo

like I know it’s because of that one moment where she lacked enough magic to fully transform but she also gets “cured” of it which leaves a bad taste in my mouth

I do have a tendency to be overtly sensitive when it comes to vitiligo because it’s been done dirty so many times and I like it being as accurate as possible but yeah

if anyone else with vitiligo feels the same way or differently feel free to add on

This time with effort!

A few hours of dedicated work has earned me two whole Vees! One with vitiligo to match the pale spots on her basilisk form, and one without (for the cowards).

I tried to go with a more realistic style, but it fell apart somewhat after her nose and chin (very happy with how those turned out tho).

The shading is a little inconsistent and weird, the hair (and hairline) could use some work, the mouth pose is maybe a little too extreme, there's still something off about the eyes (besides the usual inhuman shine), and I could still stand to learn texturing, but overall, I'm pretty dang proud of this!

• We all know that Canon!Luz is a Eccentric and geeky person who loves fantasy and adventure, but what if she wasn't exactly the person people thought she was, what if she completely snapped due to all the bullying and abuse she went through when she was younger and became a sadistic and blood thirsty psychopath.

• Slashers & Serial Killers from different movies, shows, and franchises

[AU info]

• Everyone is human, including King.

• Takes place in Gravesfield which has a high crime rate due to gang violence, addicts, serial killers, etc. Also Gravesfield is a lot more larger than it's canon counterpart.

• There are a total of three gangs within Gravesfield; The Fallen Angels MC (Bikers), The Alley Cats (Punks), The New Dawn (White Supremacists).

• Before Luz, there were other serial killers that terrorized Gravesfield in the past.

• Camila was an abusive parent, even before Manny passed away, and was very discriminative twords Luz for "Not being normal". So due to this Luz was with her dad most of her life.

• Luz was around ten years old when she got adopted and achieved her first kill.

• King has been adopted by Eda and Raine ever since he was a baby. They found him abandoned in a cardboard box within an empty alley.

• Eda has heterochromia, a prosthetic arm, and Epilepsy in which she calls her "Curse". Oh, and also a bit of PTSD.

• Eda owns a pawn shop called "The Owl's Nest" and Raine is a music teacher at Gravesfield High.

• Lilith works for the Gravesfield Police Department as a detective.

• Lilith adopted both Vee and Hunter when they were around five and six years old. She adopted Hunter after a case regarding child abuse and then Vee after busting a Child Abduction & Slavery operation.

• Hooty and Owlbert are Eda's pet Owls.

• Stringbean is Luz's pet garter snake that Eda and Raine got for her 12th Birthday.

• Palisman are ordinary animals.

• Collie *The Collector* is born with vitiligo and has ADHD, he's been friends with King since preschool.

• Belos and Philip Wittebane are not the same person, though he's still evil to where he's the main leader of The New Dawn.

• Philip Wittebane is not immortal and died back in the 1600s, but he's still the puritan, false christian fanatic though and the statue of the Wittebane Brothers only has Caleb's statue while Philip's is completely defaced and vandalized.

Pre-Game:

Divya was living in a monastery devoted to Ilmater in the Holy City of Elturel. Ever since she was a little girl, she was taught to adopt simple, selfless and meaningful actions towards everything she does, as well as help all who suffered. She found comfort in the Church, and wanted to devote her life to helping others through her service. She became a monk when she turned sixteen and spent many years in the monastery.

When the city of Elturel fell to Avernus, everything changed for her. Being a tiefling, she was exiled from the city, as well as the monastery. She was lucky to swiftly make her way to Baldur's Gate, but she wouldn't be there for long, being swept up in the Nautiloud before she even stepped into the city.

Divya had never seen herself as a fighter. Quite the opposite, in fact: she loathed the concept of combat. Until she was banished from Elturel and the Church of Ilmater, she only ever wanted conflict to resolve without violence. But as she was thrown out into the wilds of Faerûn, she finally realizes that peace was never an option.

She hopes to make her way to Baldur’s Gate to rejoin the Church of Ilmater and resume her life as a monk, but it seems that her plan may find some hitches along the way.
