#vauge memories

I've had this vague memory of a story that I think I read, but I am not entirely sure about. In all honesty, it could be something my brain just made up as a dream, as I've had several very vivid dreams where I swear it was a real thing and just never was.

[ It was a story about the grim reaper or death. At some point near the beginning, he visits this house. At this point, it was during the Black Plague epidemic, i think. A young girl was there with her little brother who was very ill. The girl thinks death is there for her brother and won't allow him to take the brother. She decided her brother needed water, so she went to get a pitcher for some. She had to climb up on a stool and ended up falling. It takes a little while, but death shows her that she died when she fell, having twisted her neck or something. Death had been there for her all along. There is a back and forth between the ghost girl and death about her brother and what's going to happen to him. Eventually, she begrudgingly she goes with Death walking alongside his wagon/ horse cart. After what seems to be a while of time passing, she asks to be in the cart, Death says no, that she is a soul and has to walk with the other souls. She keeps asking, and he eventually says that she can be with him in the cart. More time passes, and the other souls alongside the cart move on, but she doesn't, eventually coming to help death. ]

This is where my memory gets fuzzy as I can't fully remember what's after this point, but I do remember this...

[ They come across a prince and his entourage at some point much later in time. They are there to collect the prince. The girl goes to talk to the prince first, and he refuses, saying that he won't die. She has to go get death from the cart and bring him to the prince. Prince still refuses and challenges Death to some sort of game. If the prince wins he lives, if death wins, he doesn't. The game is of Deaths choosing, and he chooses a hunt. The prince eventually chooses a rare animal for death to find that supposedly doesn't exist. Death returns a great deal of time later, and the prince expects him to empty-handed; he isn't. The prince ends up choking on something, and Death takes him away. ]

This is where the memory of it ends, I'm really hoping it's a real thing because it seems like an amazing story, but if it ends up not being a real thing, well, at least I'll know.

I plan to post something similar to this on Reddit to broaden the possibility of an answer, and I I get one there, I'll make an update.

I was thinking back to this scene in pilot.

Like, back then it was reading to me as "Some low level sinner threatens one of the most powerful hell overlords with first pointy thing she found", so it read as kind of desperate attempt :p

Now we know, that she was literal angel, pointing a heavenly weapon at Alastor. She probably could've actually taken him on there :p

Don't know if it was intentional, like it probably was revealed in Tweets years ago and I'm only just catching on, but... Y'know, I thought it's cool :p

I don't know if it was actually revealed, but it's been a theory since the pilot. So chances Vivz had the idea from the start and it was intentional.

Because, like Carmila said, it's... pretty damn obvious looking at it.

When I was young (about like...4 or 5 years old?) I used to beg people to pick me up and hold me high in the sky because if i closed my eyes I could very vividly see myself floating with the clouds and touching their misty, cold puffs.

Now I'm old and decrepit --as all young adults are-- and I'm just realizing that what i experienced as a child felt so much like Astral projection...say whattt??

Where was that youthful, unhinged, magical energy when I truly needed it???

You see, that WAS claimed for GER. But then Araki went on to say GER was his excuse for not including Giorno. So it's just yet another lazy excuse.

Also. You. You understand me. You get me. The ending of Stone Ocean could have been SO much more impactful if we got to see the suvivors of other parts experiencing Made in Heaven's effects.

ok so im NOT crazy like.. GER doesnt NEEd to be there.. and like.. i dont WANT GER to win. this jolynes part!! i dont want someone to swoop in and save her. i want giorno off to the side, not even effect jolyne (like the ungalo fight they are just not involved) and its Giorno having this last draw to pucci and is it because he is dio's son or the joestar in him that brought him there to face pucci. Giorno spending the last moments against a man who knew his father better than most and pucci who has fallen far and hard from grace taking out something that could really REALLY show how he is a broken and lost man who desperate to not be stopped, to reach some promise end that will make everything that he and the people in his life have been through meant something greater than him.

and just!! even a lil smidge of getting to see everyone else.. just a little bit, i would have really liked to see them... i know araki has all his statements about this and that but i dont care, show me the good stuff, let me see the family..

i also think about those who didnt die during made in heaven reset... like.. ugh,, one day some of your family members are just slightly different, hardly but the change is there...

So I haven't been in the CR fandom for very long (just over a year) and I'm gonna be real I didn't think Shadowgast was actually canon. I thought it was another instance of the internet seeing two male characters who were friends and shipping the hell out of them.

Human AU Cassandra and Mia hanging out/going for a walk because Alcina told them to bond, just trying to make them be more friendly.

Someone says to Mia "Wow, you and your daughter look like twins."

And Mia, in a panic, is about to go "Oh, she's not-" when Cassandra jumps in like "Oh, yeah, got ALL my looks from her! Right, mama?" as a joke with like a full hug and everything.

And Mia (after a minute of loading time) is in on it like "Well, you got your other mom's nose. But the rest is all me." and then they laugh about it after like they just pulled the best prank, and it deters the awkwardness.

Mia knows Cass only did it for the goof, but still she's sobbing about it to Alcina later like "She HUGGED ME-"
