Some facts about Zehir Veneno, my poisoner and Morag Tong assassin:

- He's a very kind, optimistic person with an insatiable thirst for knowledge.

- He's among my oldest mortal OCs (Ramiath is older).

- Has travelled all over Tamriel and studied poisons in any and all forms.

- He's just as good of a healer as he is a poisoner. Makes a humble living off of selling tonics and tinctures.

- Travelled to Hammerfell in order to learn about the local venomous wildlife. There, he met his future wife, a biologist named Samira.

- One day, he and Samira were caught off guard by a duneripper. Both suffered major injuries. Zehir in particular never fully recovered: his leg was broken and grew together incorrectly. He's been using a crutch ever since.

- By the time eso takes place, Zehir is widowed. Due to his elven lifespan, he outlived Samira. The two stayed together until the end. He vehemently refuses to move on romantically.

- His standard facial expression is a kind, gentle smile.

- Lives near Narsis and is a respected member of the community.

- Is extremely concerned about his appearance and manners. You'll never see him dishevelled or dirty. He also carries himself with an elegance that would put most aristocrats to shame.

- He is a devout worshipper of Mephala.

- It was Varon Davel who recruited Zehir to the Morag Tong.

- Zehir takes no pleasure in taking lives, but seeing his poisons work satisfies a certain scholarly urge, which makes it easier for him to distance himself from his assassinations. After all, it's in the name of research.

- For a time, Zehir studied under another OC of mine, Amilanu. By ESO time, the two have been best friends for over 200 years.

- He medicinally smokes Hackle-Lo leaf. Helps with his leg, which is a chronic source of pain.

- He keeps a garden full of pet spiders.

11- being stopped mid-revenge killing by varon davel... she knew of the tong, but was lucky enough to be stopped before practically signing her own writ with the killing of a hlaalu by name.

12- likely one of her first writs. in stressful situations, she tends to go ice cold emotionally- and she’s never been one with a particular bloodlust, simply a task. that’s not to say she’s never felt remorse... but she’s kinda horribly repressed.

45- her quickest answer to that would be ‘vounoura,’ but she knows that’s more a place to die than an afterlife. perhaps she hopes that too. she’s scared that somewhere in her she feels that the real answer is either the skein or nothingness.

Zehir is fairly involved in the community of his hometown, Narsis. Despite normally not allowing anyone into his home, he's still well liked by his neighbours and always has time for a quick chat or an extra round at the local tavern. He's also known to treat the sick or sell curative potions.

When the Llodos plague reaches Narsis the Morag Tong task him with assisting Naryu and Varon Davel. He decides to interpret that a bit liberally: He allows them to stay at his home while he searches for a cure.

He spent most of his life learning about poisons learning how to combat them. In short, he was an excellent healer before joining the Morag Tong and becoming a poisoner. He abhorrs senseless death; what he does is business, but something like the plague is of a different calibre. Therefore, he spends every waking moment researching while Naryu and Varon look for the origin of the plague.
