Darius: -I stride out of the bedchamber, my brows furrowing in concern at seeing the guards looking a little weary on their feet. Wondering what has them falling asleep at their post, I keep my pace leisure as I descend the main stairway ordering one of the nodding guards to take his leave for the rest of the day.-

-Frustrated with the guard, I turn with a low growl back to the stairs, my dark eyes catching sight of @Vard_Lokkur leaving his chamber. He'd been scarce after awakening from his healing. I watch curiously wondering what @Vard_Lokkur was up to. -I slip into the shadows behind @Vard_Lokkur, following his footsteps as he heads seemingly toward one of the guards. I shake my head with a silent chuckle as I put things together. Clasping a palm over @Vard_Lokkur's shoulder to halt him before he sips from the unsuspecting guard-

Evening, @Vard_Lokkur. Out for a walk I see.

-I turn us away from the male, directing us toward the opposite hall- 

-I chuckle a bit louder, directing us to the dark narrow hallway. I wave a hand over the wall as we come to the end.-

Yes, I believe you were a little preoccupied with other things.

-My magic allows the wall to open up for us, the torches blazing down the corridor to light our way.-

I believe we have some talking to do. Don't you agree? 

-Turning dark glowing eyes over to @Vard_Lokkur before leading the path down the intricate tunnels. I'd been expecting his visit long before @Vard_Lokkur had made his way to Caspius and knew this day would come. Whether he was ready or not I would find out soon enough. The tunnel opening up into a large room once used for magickal training. I wave another flare of dark magic to ignite the torches before turning back to the warlock-

Do you know why you are here, @Vard_Lokkur? 

-My upper lip twists up slightly as @Vard_Lokkur's thoughts filter into my mind. I step back to keep distance, not that I couldn't handle anything @Vard_Lokkur attempted, but more to halt the temptation. I crack my tense shoulders, getting back to the talk-

In this realm. What made you make the journey here, @Vard_Lokkur? 

-I knew what the warlock was here for, but wasn't sure how much he knew about the trials.-

-My lips turn down at these revelations. An enemy? Who would be so naive to make an enemy of @Vard_Lokkur. I watch as you pace around the expanse of the room, thrusting a hand roughly through my dark hair-

Are you protecting this...Havyn?

-I lift a brow at you when you spin around sharply to glare further at me-

You spoke her name through your fever state. 

-I give a small shake of my head-

Nothing more, @Vard_Lokkur. Who is this Havyn and why is she not here?

-I move over to the large scrying pool, putting more distance between us. The temperature of the room seeming to drop a few degrees-

-I see the reluctance in your eyes with sharing anything more about the mysterious ally and turn back to the scry pool my thick, rough fingers stirring the still waters a moment. I mentally call out her name and catch a small flicker of an image of @Havyn_Lain in a rocky structure.

I turn my gaze up at @Vard_Lokkur to reassure him-

Not to worry. She'll be returned to you soon.

-I blow out a ragged sigh, not sure if @Vard_Lokkur was ready for the next step. A concern I'd been having since he appeared here. But this was not my decision to make. The magickal water would determine whether @Vard_Lokkur was able to control himself.-

Now about my help. Are you truly wanting it, @Vard_Lokkur?

-I give a nod of understanding, swirling the silvery liquid, a small chant in the ancient language murmuring past my firm lips as the water starts to vibrate intensely. My body hums with the magick energies increasing around the room-

You'll have to reach into the waters for the magickal seals. If successful you should easily pull free three. They will help you travel to your trials and should you pass them they will ultimately help with your next transition, @Vard_Lokkur.

-I step back to allow you the room you would need-

Whenever you are ready, @Vard_Lokkur. 

-I huff a small chuckle, crossing my thick arms over the expanse of my hard chest as I lower my gaze with a shake-

You asked for my help, @Vard_Lokkur. This is what must be done.

-My lips curve up in a devilish grin-

Unless you are too afraid of what awaits you? 

-My head bobbing slightly, the smirk still playing on my lips-

Yes, now reach inside to search for the enchanted pieces. 

-Fuck. I hiss internally not wanting to panic @Vard_Lokkur any further. I step back to his side, watching as he fights to pull his arm free.-

Relax, @Vard_Lokkur it will pass soon. Don't struggle too much.

-My jaw tightens wanting to help, but this was Zak's test. If the pool decided @Vard_Lokkur was not ready for the next step then his transition would be delayed.-
