On today's episode of hyperspecific things that apeal to me and nobody else.

Ever since I started to read IDW Sonic (yes even when I was reading them in English), I've always read Tangle with the voice of European Voice Actress Laura Pastor, and I fianlly decided to make an small compilation to show what I mean with this.

I finally watched the FNAF movie (⚠️spoilers⚠️)

It’s an ok movie i guess, i mean i was excited when the movie came out but even i wasn’t a big fan of the original games because i never grew up with them because i was too scared to watch the gameplays but until i grew older, i somehow understand the games plots already but there are some plots i just don’t care because i care about the animatronics and not the big lore like it’s the MCU or something, but i watch this movie because there are some actors that i know (i literally watch this movie just for matthew lillard because he’s just so great at playing as the villain in the movie), but the thing that i don’t think it works in the movie is that vanessa is somehow william’s daughter like she’s not william’s daughter in the games why can’t it be mike and garret because their the children of afton not vanessa, vanessa was a character who was trying to stop glitchtrap but somehow gets controlled by him, and garret (who is a movie version of the crying child) doesn’t have that much character because in the games he’s more investigating on what he’s real father (william afton) is doing but in this movie he’s just the dead brother who is just there to make the main character to have more and it doesn’t make any sense of william to kidnapped and kill him when he doesn’t even know about him and making william being the father of vanessa is just weird and the movie would’ve been more better if abby died (look, i would feel sad if abby died but i think it will show that mike is now losing another sibling of his) but look , i don’t hate this movie, it’s just some plot holes that are just not quite right and it’s a literal eyebrow raising type though, but there are some stuff in the movie that really enjoyed, i love seeing the animatronics being friendly to abby, i love seeing a dynamic between mike and vanessa, and of course matthew lillard is the best part of the movie, and i love that josh hutcherson is now part of the horror genre now and elizabeth lail is now becoming a scream queen since she was in the movie countdown(2019) which is not a great movie but atleast she’s now a scream queen :), and good thing matthew lillard finally says the “i always come back” line😌

And i love the matpat cameo, i thought he’s not going to be movie based on how he reacts when watching the trailers but he’s actually in the movie :)

Including when abby is playing with animatronics and then they made a fortrest in night 4, it’s really cute😊

Coryxkenshin, he’s good at playing the typical taxi driver which is great :)

AND THE OPENING SEQUENCE WITH THE 8-BIT GAMES JUST LIKE IN THE GAMES AND THE AWESOME SCORE BY THE NEWTON BROTHERS, IT’S PERFECT 10/10 OPENING

Rewrite time:

Vanessa is the favorite birthday girl of william afton and that’s how she is so closed to him and during the night when young vanessa is going to visit afton she sees that he is killing the kids and then the next day she is visiting him again and william gives her a pep talk about the kids and his story and gives her a rule saying “and if you dare tell anyone about this, i will murder you just like those brats”

And about the afton family thing is that after the real ms afton died, william somehow brings mike and garret to another place(probably a adoption center) and then abandoned them because he doesn’t to see his kids infront of his face again and then years later he kidnaps garret and kills him to becoming golden freddy(i still think golden freddy has two souls because he’s such a complicated character)

And garret soul as golden freddy is now friends with abby and during night 5 william is trying to kill abby but golden attacks him but defeated by him and boom plot twist begins and william is starting to attack mike but the other animatronics are attacking as well but loses to show that afton is stronger and threatening and he goes after abby but mikes tries to stop but gets kicked and william finally kills abby while mike is surprised that his sister is killed just like his brother and then he attacks william and accidentally switches the springlock switch, mike is horrified on what is he seeing but he starts running away with a injured vanessa and william starts yelling at michael saying "MICHAEL, YOU CAN'T GET AWAY FROM ME YOU BRAT" "AND REMEMBER" "I ALWAYS COME BACK" and now the next is mike at a hospital taking care of vanessa while he's traumatized that his sister is dead and somehow a news broadcast was shown in the tv and mike watches it and some guy on the news says that he's coworker is missing, and then the post credit scene shows that springtrap is attacking that guy by eating his head, that's all.

So what is my ranking about this movie?

B Tier

it’s both exciting and great to see another indie game to get adapted just like cuphead but there are some stuff i’m just not into it but anyways that’s my review now :)

Five nights at Freddy's movie review

Spoiler free version:

I finally saw the FNaF movie (since it premiered here like a week later) and I really wanna talk about it.

It was fun. It's its own story that has some similarities to the games but it works well on its own which is a good thing imo.

It has a good pacing and I didn't get bored.

There are bunch of hints and easter eggs in reference to the games, like a guy is wearing a Midnight Motorist sweater or a dinner is named after Sparky the Dog, a hoax in early fnaf days.

It has violence but it's not too gory, most stuff happens off screen or in shadows.

I also liked the final solution, it was well established.

I do have 2 complains

1. I think most relationships needed more establishment.

2. One character kinda confuses me on their motive.

Overall I'd give it 4/5, though you'll get more of it if you're a fnaf fan.

And some tips. Watch it at home if you can or pick a later date. The movie theater was crowded and I think it hindered my enjoyment.

When you see Sparky's diner, pay attention to the waiter. You won't regret it.

And wait till the end of all credits.

I think Mike and Abby needed a bit more time together or thinking of each other to make the scene where Mike realizes how much she means to him more impactful.

I feel like we were told rather shown she likes her brother.

Same goes for relationship between her and aunt Jane. We're told once she doesn't like her but it isn't enough to make her turn on Mike believable to me.

And finally Vanessa and William. The ending implies she's scared of him but we never are shown why.

This segways nicely into my other complain. Vanessa feels inconsistent. She starts out as a friendly police officer who knows tad too much about Freddy's and is revealed to be William's daughter.

What I got is that she vaguely warns the guards of the danger but doesn't tell them what it is. When the animatronics are friendly, she just let's Mike and Abby vibe there but when she learns Mike used Abby to get info on Garrett's kidnapper (her dad) she forbids him from taking Abby there ever again. I'm guessing this is to protect her dad.

But I think we should have had a flashback to her childhood and maybe a scene where she's terrified of going to the pizzeria but the she sees a drawing of Mike and Abby a decides to help.

But enough about stuff I didn't like and more about stuff I loved, in no particular order.

Actors are all really great and they did a fantastic job.

The opening credits are in style of old arcade games, just like in fnaf 2. It genuinely made me so happy to see it.

The cupcake mauling a man was both hilarious and terrifying. You go Carl!

The animatronics are all really expressive, especially Chica, when she smuggly sends Carl the Cupcake to murder a man or when she winks at Mike. Or when Freddy was looking for Mike and tilting his head as if he were listening.

I almost missed MatPat's cameo. I was like: "I know that voice! But from where?" And then he said: "It's just a theory!" and I almost screamed.

I love that the kids have some significance. Even if they dont have names, they still have more to do than they ever did in the games.

Also, it's exactly 5 nights at Freddy's.

1 - Mike arrives and sees the Missing kids for the first time.

2 - Mike gets scratched by Foxy and Vannesa shows up to info dump.

3 - since Max is dead, Mike takes Abby there for the first time. He cleans up the place and Abby meets her friends.

4 - Mike takes Abby there a second time, Vannesa shows up, they build a Fort and Vannessa gets mad.

5 - Mike goes there alone and the movie finale happens.

I noticed the trailer was insanely misleading. Vanessa ends up in the hospital at the end of the movie, but the trailer made it seem it happens somewhere in the middle.

CoryXKenshin cameo was awesome.

The ending credits song is Five Nights at Freddy's by TLT. Woho!!!

And after all the credits roll, we get a few letters spelling out "FIND ME" like in SAVE HIM minigame from fnaf 2.

Theories:

I wonder what happened to Garrett. Is he fully dead? Or is he possessing something, like the puppet?

I hope the next movie is a prequel, maybe told retrospectively by Vanessa while some stuff happens in the present. And the third movie can be a sequel, maybe with older Abby being a guard herself.

After a short while our 3 star fam and friends made their way to the spookfest party, it was a huge outdoor celebration in a large pumpkin patch

Gregory: hey guys let’s make a bet, whoever can gather the most candy from this place wins

Ellis: your on, and the loser has give the winner all their best candy

they all went to enjoy their time, Gregory and his friends competed in games and challenges all over the Spookfest, Meanwhile Vannesa - Freddy - Roxy and Jeremy supervised them from afar, as time passed vanessa was greeted by their other friends Luis Cabrera, Nora Wu, Tristan Mazely and Daniel Rocha, Luis was dressed as a Knight, Nora was dressed as a Ranger, Tristan was a Bard, Daniel was a Rogue and Quinn was a Witch.

Vanessa: Guys their you are, wow I’m really digging the fantasy fits

Soon Vanessa and her friends found their conversation ending quickly as they noticed the arrival of their animatronic friends Bonnie, Chica, Foxy and Monty, Bonnie was dressed as A ghost, Chica was dressed as a Fairy, Foxy was a Pumpkin and moon was a Candy Corn, Monty didn’t dress up

Chica: Hi Bestie, sorry we’re a little late

Bonnie: yeah it took forever for us to pick out costumes

Moon: that and a certain Reptilian refused to wear something

Monty: I don’t need to wear anything, this is the only time of year where I can go as myself

Foxy: never mind him, how have you’ve guys been

As the night went on they were Halloween songs, face painting, corn mazes and many other things, it almost felt as if this night would never end

Jeremy: man this night sure has been fun, I haven’t felt this way about Halloween for a long time

Freddy: I agree tonight’s been such a fun night

Roxanne: y know I’n surprised, I thought the kids were gonna get in some kind of trouble or something

Roxy immediately took her words back as soon as she heard a man yell at some kids

The worker just so happens to be yelling at Gregory, Ellis, Amelia and Devon as they made their way to the others

Tony: They took all the candy bowls and filled their bags

And as the faz-family made their grand escape from the wrath of an angry worker they all looked at each other while smiling and laughing knowing that they all had one of if not the best Halloween ever.

As the doorbell rings a small group of 6 kids patiently await the door to open, as they hear the locks and door opening they are met with a large and tall orange bear man

It's been a week since Vanessa's stab and Recovered, she mostly spent her time at Michael Schimidt's house. Yes they were pretty low on money yet again, but they cared for her and so did her with them.

Until then, She didn't actually return to her house after all of the mess, If It can even be considered a home now or then before all of the Rabbit hole crumbled. She had done some quick in and outs with the Schmidts to get some of her stuff. Never Alone however.

She decides to face this fear. Michael prepares himself for a Interview at Murray's old factory and the moment that fox boy leaves, It's her chance. Mike was always against the idea of her going there alone.

Still Reluctant but somehow filling herself with courage as the car progressed to the location. she had to do this at some point, no backing away anymore.

She arrives at the crooked house. It's considerably far from the Neighborhood, It stood out, Even more so with the forest that anyone can get lost in behind It. As she walked out and took each step towards It, She could feel a sense of dread like she was being watched but that was the usual feeling she would get outside of anyways.

As she walked through the door and into those greenish walls, the feeling didn't change. The loneliness was getting to her, so she gave a shot at lightning the mood : "Hey dead, I'm home ! Get It? Because you died" She tried cracking a joke to shake It off that feeling, It's what Mike would do.

She tries to focus on what to bring that she forgot or just wants to be turned into dust. Did She check the garage ? Yes she did, mostly robotic junk that wouldn't even serve as a good arm for freddy and a bunch of manequins with crappy costumes on.

She also already checked the kitchen and got most of the utensils, She got the books from the living room and sent It to Libraries.

She took all her old toys and decided to donate them to charity, minus the special ones like the Purple telephone and that weirdly oversized finger trap Bunny plushie. Unfortunately, no sign of Garrett's plane yet, She was positive about It and knew She would find it eventually.

But while she thought so much about what she already did, she realizes something she didn't do. The Basement door was slam opened, Like a creature had come out of there. Since she was little, her father William always told her she couldn't come in and that there was Something inside that even her dad feared. That alone was enough for her to never even dare lay a finger on it.

She goes to analyze the situation, Still fearing what would be inside or what was once there. All she can see once arriving closer to It, more mechanical parts could be seen, not too surprising, But the sunlight showed something else that she would never thought would see again.

In the work bench, Close to a Mechanical animatronic hand. Her old bunny mask that she made when she was just a 12 year old girl, The gray part on the side of the Bunny's face had turned brown from time and the purpleish eyes became penetrating red.

She would bring that mask to freddy's from time to time to "work" with her dad, She wanted to be just like him. But that doesn't mean she only wore It there, at home too when she failed at obeying.

She wanted to take that Mask, she wanted to put it on and be able to cry in the ways she cried while wearing It. All the Agony of her life was gushed to that Mask, She couldn't lie it felt like an undeniable temptation. But just like her father said years ago, She left It Alone what was beyound that door and locked It all of It away.

Tomorrow is another day after all and It was time to pick up Abby from School, she promised to eat ice cream with her after all.

FNAF MOVIE SPOILERS

The lore change that Vanessa is Afton's daughter in this universe makes sense. They aren't going to bring the glitchtrap virus and mimic into the movies and I hope they don't.

In both versions Vanessa is the reluctant follower. In the games her mind is taken over by Glitchtrap and in the movie she is rightfully terrified of her father. Both don't want to aid him but are forced to. Until Gregory sets her free (Games) or Mike tells her to stand for what's right (Movie).

I am sad that Mike isn't an Afton in the movie, but Elizabeth Lail did an amazing job portraying Vanessa's fear of Afton. I hope that future movies reveal the Mike is Henry's kid. Garrett seems like a mix between Evan and Charlie.

OK, FIRST OPINIONS.

I LOVED THE MOVIE, BLUMHOUSE REALLY FUCKIN DID IT, JUST PERFECTLY. THE ANIMATRONICS WERE MADE AMAZINGLY, SUCH PERFECT QUALITY JUST MWA !! THE ATMOSPHERE WAS CREATED BEAUTIFULLY, I LOVE HOW THEY DIDN'T ADD ALOT OF GORE AND FOCUSED ON THE GENERAL STORY/LORE MORE THEN THE SCARE FACTOR JUST AMAZING.

I ALSO LOVE HOW THEY MADE IT SO YOU DIDN'T NEED TO KNOW THE ENTIRE FNAF LORE, LIKE YOU JUST NEEDA KNOW THE BASICS OF THE GENERAL GAME.

This is gonna be my first headcanon about Bayverse tmnt x FNAF movie. So, hear me out:

•Abby was only one kid who wasn't afraid of turtles, because they reminded her a lot animatronics.

•Abby was soo happy to see them, meanwhile turtles (mostly Leo) were worried, because her parents could looking for her.

•Mike at first thought that turtles were animatronics (He met them by Casey) but after discovering the truth, Mike was scared as f*ck, but April calmed him down.

•Vannesa is not William's real daughter. She was actually Ms. Vincent's daughter (they both have blonde hair, light skin and brown/green eyes) and her real name was Judith.

•William kidnaped Van like Gareth (Mike's brother) and mentaly abused her to make her his heir, because we all know what happened to Afton kids

•Mike mostly spends his time with Leo because both of them are older brothers of their sibling

•Abby mostly plays with Mikey and Raph

•Abby draws lots of drawings of her with turtles (and Mike)

•One time, Mike was heavily injured after fight with Rocksteady

•Abby mostly sees turtles as animatronics (Leo - Freddy, Raph - Foxy, Donnie - Bonnie, Mikey - Chica)

•Abby likes to steal Donnie's gadgets

•Abby calls Splinter a "Rat papa"

•Mike's first meet with Splinter was same as Casey's in Out of the shadows

•William drunk a lot mutagen, so he became the first rabbit animatronic mutant

ok I've basically forgotten a lot of the fnaf lore I memorized as a kid buuuuuuut

My brother said that sister location is technically 2nd in the lore events type thing? Basically it came before fnaf 1

Which I just realized would actually explain why there was a really old looking circus baby in the movie (yknow the spring locks suit that Vannesa poked with a broom)

Bc I was literally talking to my brother about how it feels wrong that sister location came before fnaf 1 because it looks way more futuristic (??), so ig the movie is gonna elaborate on this if/when they make a sequel
