On March 23, 1979, VAN HALEN released their second studio album, “VAN HALEN II.” With veteran Ted Templeman running the board, VH2 was recorded over a three-week period that took place less than a year after the release of their eponymous debut. It peaked at number 6 on the Billboard 200 and spawned the singles "Dance the Night Away" and "Beautiful Girls." As of 2004, it has sold almost six million copies in the United States. Twenty-five years later, Eddie Van Halen placed the black & yellow guitar (that he's seen holding on the back cover of the album) in Dimebag Darrell's (Pantera) casket when he was buried on December 14, 2004.
