You couldn’t believe you were at the Short n’ Sweet concert. You won the war against Ticketmaster. You Dragged Quinn along with you; he only knew her songs because of you.

It was the part of the show where Sabrina was arresting someone in the crowd. Then an idea popped into your head.

You turned your head, your nose bumping Quinn’s cheek. The revealing outfit you wore made it difficult for Quinn to keep his hands off you. His arm wrapped tightly around your waist.

Quinn leaned his head down so your mouth was directly in front of his ear. You weren’t sure if it was the drinks or Sabrina herself that gave you the courage to say what you were about to say.

“Whatever Juno position she does, we’re doing tonight.” You smirked at the sight of Quinn blushing. A hard kick woke you up from your nap. You pressed your hand under your eight-and-a-half-month bump, groaning in pain. After a day of running errands and cleaning around the house, you decide to lay in bed, putting on a random video on YouTube as background noise as you read your romance book before drifting off to sleep.

Your daughter was practicing somersaults, so you might have to start thinking about gymnastics instead of hockey. It might take time to convince Quinn, he has his heart set on your daughter playing hockey. Your husband was talking about teaching his daughter to play hockey since you showed him the positive test. 

You began to massage your bump, hoping it would calm your daughter down; it always works when Quinn does it. You sighed in relief when your daughter relaxed. You settled back into bed, wishing Quinn was here instead at practice. 

You huffed, clearly annoyed when your daughter started to roll around. It was normal for her to be active, but never this active unless Quinn was nearby. You felt another hard kick, which made you groan. Maybe Quinn was home early, and he was talking to your daughter while you were asleep; it wouldn’t be the first time. 

You rubbed the sleep out of your eyes before you lazily opened them, expecting to see your husband staring lovingly at your bump as he whispered nonsense to your daughter. You frowned when Quinn was nowhere in sight, knitting your eyebrows together, wondering what was making your daughter so restless. Then, the TV caught your attention.

The video of Quinn mic’d up during the Canucks v.s. The Devils was playing. You were so tired that you didn’t hear the video. You bit back a smile as you pulled out your phone to record this. You played with your necklace with Quinn's wedding band as you watched the video; he put his actual wedding band on a necklace chain and gave it to you because he knew you would keep it safe. (He has a groove ring.)

You knew you had to send this to Quinn.

Quinn was drinking his water when he noticed his phone light up beside him. Quinn smiled when he saw your contact pop up.

Quinn silently chuckled under his breath as he clipped on the video.

His heart swelled at what he saw, his daughter moving at the sound of his voice on the TV. When you told Quinn that he was going to a father, it was the second best day of his life; the first was when he married you. Quinn continued to watch the video in awe. He already loves his baby girl so much, he’s doing everything he can to connect with her. His daughter wasn’t even born, and she already had Quinn wrapped around her little finger.

Quinn loved watching you grow, his daughter, these past months. Watching you care for her, protect her, he knows you’re going to be the best damn mother ever. Quinn already worships the ground you walk on, but ever since he saw the positive pregnancy test, he took it to the next level, his protective nature into overdrive. Quinn couldn’t wait to start this next chapter with you.

All Quinn wanted was for practice to be over so he could be with his girls, his whole world.
