OKAY SO

an update on my van plan:

My legal issue was solved but I was planning a trip to Texas for the winter since I wasn't sure my friend would help me out in the way I need, but it seems she's willing to hold the title for me until I get my license and she'll let me borrow her car for the test. So I can stay in Pennsylvania for now.

Which means I'm currently shopping for a van!

As stated before, as soon as I have the van I'll be putting insulated walls in. I'll park it somewhere (probably next to a hardware store) for the winter and likely won't be driving it around too much. I'll be using my car at least until the van's title is in my name and I officially own it.

I still need your support! There's still $7k on my fundraiser goal to meet, which I'll use to build the van out. I currently have enough to purchase a van and put walls in it, but I'll need at least $2k for the solar panels and electricity when the time comes. The first stage is beginning, but the fundraiser is still going! Thank you everyone for helping me get to this point ❤️

hi everyone, this is the channel i'll be uploading the van build to. i've just uploaded a video about my experience in a transitional housing program, and i'll likely be telling more stories or might go into more detail into what happened at that program since i had to cut so much for time.

What does true form Van do with his darlings when he gets bored of them?

True Form Van's darlings have usually been relocated to his chambers in the Winter Court; it's simply easier for him. He does take them out regularly into the woods - they bow to his call, after all - but he's first and foremost one of the Unseelie Queene's very favourites, and he has to be at her call more often than he'd like to be.

Their job is to entertain him; take his mind off the pomp and circumstance and royal politicking of the Court, which he cannot stand. By all rights, he ought to be a solitary fae - he's old and powerful enough - but . . . he has a contract himself that he doesn't remember the specifics of, and so he is a dog on a leash for said Unseelie Queene.

When his darlings no longer bring him any pleasure or interest . . . if they're inhuman or of fae blood themselves, he MIGHT be convinced to find a place for them in the Court. It will be an extremely low-ranked place, and they'd have to make their own bond with the Queene, but . . . the alternatives are that he gives them as a gift to someone else, or he eats them alive, or he tortures them for fun. The Winter Court is not a kind place, and Van the way he is . . . does not quite remember what kindness feels like.
