guys help me decide

i wanted to create a comical group of 3 vampire hunter ocs. first hunter, the captain, is a very short woman with hate for vampires flowing in her veins and like 10 loaded crossbows on her body at any given time. she's the most enthusiastic person of her group and she really cares about her squad. second hunter, the chaplain, is a calm old man who isn't really talkative, but he's really chill and is the one to do any holy rituals when needed. he's is probably the most efficient of the group and it is him who deals with any shit group brings upon itself. when it comes to the third hunter, however, i have two visions. first is him being the most physically attractive person ever which leads to vampires of any gender to fall for him and he's really sad that they have to kill/banish all his vampiric boy/girl/theyfriends. second vision is that the guy's a complete oaf who got into vampire hunting squad by mistake but kinda rolled with it. since he's a regular guy he's not trained to hunt vampires and makes many mistakes and goofs and captain just casually corrects him like "no hank, this is an oak stake, it wont kill a vampire". i really dont know which of the two would be funnier so i decided to ask the fairy forest of tumblr. also reblog or the post will wither and die before reaching vampire hunter/comedy experts

47. "you're so jealous." | marie laveau x reader

You were on the fence about Marie and Hank's relationship. Of course, he was a witch hunter and you knew his missions also involved hunting down voodoo practitioners like her. But that wasn't all that made you hate the man.

It could have been all in your head, but the way he looked at her... And how she seemed to respond, always trying to seduce him like a vampire seduces a victim...

Not that you meant to sound possessive, but it was unavoidable.

When you saw him appear, and Marie whispered in your ear to wait in the hall, so as not to make a bad impression, your brain was already on alert. They spent hours locked in that room and the intrusive thoughts filled your mind with paranoia.

But you didn't have the heart to confront your girlfriend about it. Until then.

"We're going to need your hair cut soon, honey," she told you on one of the days when the salon didn't seem crowded. Marie always made time to be with you as soon as she saw you, you were kind of the exception to all the problems she had, and when no clients showed up, then that was even better. "Make sure you don't book somewhere else, or I'll get upset, hm?"

You smiled and were about to kiss her teasingly when the hunter's figure appeared through the window and sent your brain into predator mode. Noticing your hesitation, Marie looked out the window in the same direction and a crooked smile appeared on her lips.

"Don't worry, (Y\N), I'll send him away soon," she promised, pulling away from you and opening the door for him. Hank was frowning and you seemed to scowl back when you saw the two of them whisper.

And then, they went to Marie's room, hidden between four walls.

You resisted the urge to huff and tried to distract yourself with some of her magazines while you waited, but their secrets wouldn't leave your mind. Nor the jealousy.

They took longer than the last time to get back, and when Marie left, she had the same smirk on her face, looking at Hank. He glanced at your face and simply slammed the door, looking disappointed, fire shooting from his mouth.

"Would you like to help me close up the salon, (Y\N)?", Marie asked, as she was already fixing the windows. You got up in silence and avoided looking at her in every possible way, afraid that you might end up giving the wrong idea. When you were finally closed off again, you left for her quarters first, not expecting her to follow you.

The rest of the afternoon and early evening was silent, you didn't say anything about Hank or the customers like you usually did, and Marie was dying of curiosity and wanting to tease you about what was causing your bad mood.

She left the dishes with you and went to tidy up some things scattered around the room, still hoping that you would join her. Taking a relaxing shower, you went to the suite and sat on the bed, with your girlfriend looking you up and down.

"You're so jealous, it's cute", she whispered, holding you from behind, by the shoulders, and whispering in your ear. "Don't worry, (Y\N), he's not my type. He is an idiot. He's not even good for a sex toy."

You looked at her and shook your head. "I'm not jealous."

"Oh no?" Marie raised an eyebrow. "Then why are you avoiding me? Why are you answering me with half words? Are you sure it's not really jealousy?"

"No, Marie."

"Well, I say it is," she interrupted, and practically threw herself on top of you, kissing your lips with an inexplicable desire. She kept you pinned to the bed until you lost your breath, and when she pulled away, her smile was still mischievous. "It's jealousy, yes, look at the way you kissed me… It almost looked like you wanted to guarantee possession."

You rolled your eyes.

"Oh, don't roll your eyes at me, sweetie, you know the rules…", she bit her lip. "Don't worry, (Y\N), you're the only one I love and I'll always be yours, nobody else's. I promise."

You looked at her. "Stop, it's not jealousy."

"Awn, you have an adorable pout on your lips…", she said, taking your face by the chin and giving you a peck. "Stop being silly, (Y\N), want me to prove to you that you don't need to have that kind of reaction, hm?"

Before you could say anything, Marie kept kissing you, gaining your attention and your full desire, just as she had wanted before. You two engaged in an intense and revealing night of love, just like all the others.

At the very least, you were sure that voracity and that irresistible body someone like Hank would never be able to call his own.

They vary in nature but he holds the record in his friend group as ‘Guy With the Most Spider Tattoos’, he has three.

Hairstyle/Colour: He has ginger hair, cut by himself, of course, is choppy and layered. It reaches just below shoulder length and was once styled into a very fashionable mullet.

Style of clothing: He’ll wear anything he can get his hands on. He doesn’t care about conforming to any sort of gender norms and thinks fashion is a great way to express himself. He always has paint-covered yellow boots on.

Had this dream that I was watching King of the Hill, and Bobby Hill lied and said he was a vampire, that he needed to feast on human blood to survive.

Peggy Hill wanted to call a vampire hunter on him, but Hank divorced her and ran away, taking Bobby into hiding with him.

At the end of the episode, Bobby confessed to his lie. But Hank and Peggy stayed divorced for three seasons, and only briefly got back together at the end of the show before dying. That was supposed to be the happy ending. "See, love won in the end, and Bobby doesn't have to live with the guilt of ruining his parents marriage for the rest of his life!"

Fullname: Kuran Fubuki

Adoptive-name: Harris David Henriette, Jr.

A full Japanese (Canon ethnicity of his biological Pureblood Vampire parents) but raised abroad due to circumstances; born from both Haruka and Juri, he is the youngest son and the younger twin of Yuuki. Separated from birth after being kidnapped by a group of humans for the purpose of research and creating a diabolical weapon for mass destruction which later dubbed as Project Paradise.

Fubuki is fond of vehicles and motorbikes which he embraced from his adoptive father who would often take him for rides to calm his childhood tantrums.

I really like fantasy AU's that explore the idea of two different species getting to know each other's culture. For starters, you can work with a human and a non-human creature with human-like characteristics (vampires, werewolves, etc.) because they're very likely to have traits that can also be found in human culture, and some that are exclusive to their culture.

With this trope, you can choose whether the non-human creature(s) live among humans (or the other way around), or if they don't know much about each other, whether they stay hidden or avoid each other. Sometimes you can work with the star-crossed lovers trope by making one of the two species the hunter and the other one the prey, though this can be very cliché, so it's difficult to pull off.

What can work really well in my opinion is having two creatures meet that live in very different terrains and would normally never come across each other, in turn having them know next to nothing about one another, for example merfolk and creatures of the forest, or a species that lives in the desert and a species that tends to live in caves.

It can also work to create an entirely new species that didn't exist before. With this trope, exploring their ways of living, their differences and similarities, can be very important for the story and dynamic of different characters.

For one culture for example, kissing can be something perfectly normal but for another, the very concept can seem odd and even disturbing.

Of course this is a great set-up for a romance plot, but it also works really well as a simple friendship dynamic. It can also be a great way of introducing the found family trope (regardless of our differences, we live together and love each other").

Something I personally love to see is a group of different species as a hero protagonist group. You can either focus on their adventure and add a bit of exploration of their differences here and there, or you can make it a big part of the plot that they need to stick together and overcome their differences. This can be done by having two creatures be part of the group that are natural enemies (though this can also be very difficult to pull off).

Instead of using a fantasy setting, this can also be set up in a futuristic setting with androids and/or robots. A good example for this is "I, Robot" (the next thing I'll explain is not really a spoiler imo): In one scene, Spooner winks at someone, and Sonny (the robot) asks him what it means. Spooner explains to him that winking at someone means that they can trust you, and Sonny uses this information later on.

Another example is Connor in Detroit: Become Human. When Hank asks sarcastically: "Do you know where you can stick your instructions?", Connor is confused by his statement and responds: "No. Where?" due to him not fully understanding humor and sarcasm.

Though you could argue that androids/robots are the "easy way out" because they don't have a culture of their own, unless you set them up to have one in some way, like in Matrix.

All in all, it can be a great set-up with a lot of room for your own imagination and I believe it's fun to come up with those kinds of traits

I haven't seen anyone draw this before but HUMAN Y/NNN. I kept having thoughts about Two Hunters and a Bloodsucker and it kept drifting off to Y/N and their character and I suddenly had the thought "Hey, why not draw her as a human!" And ofc I had to. It's 2 am rn but I had so much fun making her. Ofc this is just my own interpretation of her and this isn't her canon looks. Her hair is more well kept as a human than as a vampire, as a vampire her hair is the least of her problems so she doesn't really try to maintain as neat because she'll just coop herself away and just wear a cloak out, Idk I just thought it was be a cool detail is all.
