Catch me thinking about Fox yet again

I know, big shocker

Also, it is unsurprising for the few who know me irl that my winged!clones au would mutate further lol

Just thinking about Fox being a bit vampiric, due to torture at the hands at Palps (or already there just activated due to said torture, I'm not sure).

At first he doesn't understand why rations aren't keeping him sustained, everything too bright in the day and muted during the night, and everything just isn't feeling right no matter what the medics do. It's not until there's a scuffle involving a shiny when the perpetrator cuts himself, and suddenly everything fades away as he takes in the smell.

The shiny watches with wide eyes when Fox moves faster than he can track, latching onto the others neck as they barely have time to gasp, their struggles ceasing as his commander quite literally sucks the life out of them. Fox seems just as shocked when he drops the still body, and they just lock eyes until the commander runs a hand through his hair.

"Tell no one what you witnessed." The order is slightly shaky, and despite the viable fear the shiny should be feeling, he helps Fox hide the body without fearing for his own life.

Thorn finds out pretty quickly when Fox looks healthy the next morning, downing his caf cautiously only to let out an audible crow of delight at the drink he'd seemed to hate the day before. Fox truly was in a good mood, telling his fellow officer a few days later what had happened, and braces for the potential fear.

He just laughs, and is just happy to see his friend doing much better. Within a cycle the entire Guard are aware, and a lot of theories get thrown around as to why he's suddenly been changed. They know, of course they know, but at the same time a Sith can't just randomly change someone to this degree...right?

Fox shrugs, and let's out a disgusted noise when someone suggests he drains the bastard dry.

Everyone else laughs.

The changes spread, the tips of his red wings seeming to gain sharpened tips, and his brown eyes are now tinged with a dimly glowing red, concerning quite a few Jetti who start to keep a closer eye on the commander. Fox discovered his strength increased depending on how often he had fed, and annoyed several Guard members by tracking them down with a simple sniff of a room in a building halfway across town, those red eyes at night sometimes giving a mini heart attack if you weren't expecting them.

It clicks eventually who is responsible, and Fox watches as the Jetti come and take out the Chancellor, slipping into the night that evening to celebrate by taking out a few Separatist conspirators that he had been tracking for some time. He's quite sated when Thorn gets to him near dawn, and the two sit on a rooftop to watch the chaos as the news begins to spread.

Maybe this wasn't too much of a curse.
