Our YSB Fashion Accessories have been inspired by the elements of Land, Waterways, and Sky Country. Annette creates symbols to reflect the Teachings of her Elders and Ancestors when painting with Ochre on canvas. These Ochre shapes include rounded squares, rectangles, triangles, diamonds, and line work. Annette has been taught her Cultural Knowledges by her Taungurung Elders and has permission to transfer this symbolism into her designs. Symbols of Bunjil (Eagle), Marran (Gumleaves), Yaba Yaba (Ant Home) are hand screen printed by Artisans onto natural fibers of bamboo, pashmina, and cashmere.
