This is a really precious album with a cover that does it honor: absolute solitude, as if you were in the middle of the sea, a mixture of melancholy with a hint of comfort, "ghostly" sounds that make you feel the presence of the absence of those who preceded you: that's what this album is all about. At times you don't know if it's you or your boat that floats but it doesn't matter, the sound of the waves and the songs on this album will sing you lullabies before sleep.

Valtari is a combination of Melodic Death Metal, Black Metal, Gothic Metal and Modern Metal. Encompassing a wide variety of influences this music is not for the feint of heart, but is full of passion and intensity. EMPEROR is the fifth Valtari album to date. Written and produced by solo member Marty Warren between October 2024 and March 2025. This album has all the intensity and melodies that you may expect, but blends more of what makes Valtari stand out into a seamless journey.

take "stand-alone work" to mean books not related as a series, the series can count as one work (ie me owning all of NK Jemisin's Broken Earth Trilogy and The City We Became would count as two stand-alone works, even though it's 4 books). Owning multiple copies also only counts as 1 stand-alone work, sorry edition-hoarders
